• WHY MEN DON’T LIKE TO MARRY ‘GOOD’ GIRLS.

Let’s talk. And let’s talk honestly.

You’ve heard it before — “I’m a good girl, I kept myself, I did everything right, yet he still didn’t choose me.”

    Ouch.

See, this isn't just about good girls not getting married. It’s about understanding the unspoken codes that run beneath the surface of relationships — especially when it comes to love, attraction, and marriage.

Now let me make something clear: being a good girl is beautiful. It’s noble. It’s rare. It’s powerful. But sometimes, good girls carry a subtle sense of entitlement — that because they've followed the rules, love, marriage, and a good man are automatic rewards.

    They’re not.

Some men don’t run from good girls because they’re “too good.” They run because:

    1. The goodness is cold.

Many ‘good girls’ have been trained to be pure, but not warm. Modest, but not kind. Well-behaved, but not emotionally intelligent.

And the truth? Men crave connection, not just correctness.

    2. They feel judged.

Some ‘good girls’ come across as superior — “I don’t do this, I don’t do that” — and unintentionally shame men who have made mistakes or who are still growing.

Nobody wants to marry their moral examiner.

    3. No fun, no spark.

Let’s be honest — some good girls are boring. They’ve made life so serious, so “don’t-touch-me-I’m-holy,” that they forgot how to laugh, relax, or be human.

    Marriage isn’t just a spiritual partnership; it’s also a friendship. A vibe.

    4. They confuse silence for virtue.

Meekness isn’t the same as emotional repression. Some good girls haven’t found their voice, their opinions, their uniqueness.

Men aren’t looking for a statue; they want a soul.

Listen, my lady, don’t stop being good.

    Don’t throw away your values.

But add wisdom to your goodness.

Add depth. Add laughter. Add soul. Be warm. Be fun. Be intelligent. Be yourself.

Because ‘good’ alone isn’t enough. Be whole.

I hope this makes sense to you.

  • RULES TO A HAPPY, SMART & WISE LIFE....!!!

    1. Speak Less, Listen More.

Wisdom: Listening sharpens understanding; silence guards your dignity. Words are powerful tools — the fewer, the better, if you intend them to matter.
Application: When you listen more, people reveal their true intentions. When you speak, weigh your words like a surgeon choosing his tools. Speak when your words can heal, uplift, or instruct.

    2. Avoid Pointless Arguments.

Wisdom: Energy is finite. Spend it where it multiplies, not where it drains. Some debates are traps designed to rob you of your peace and reputation.
Application: Learn to smile and excuse yourself from verbal traps. Wise people win wars, not battles. Pick your conversations the way kings pick alliances.

    3. Think Before You Speak.

Wisdom: Words are seeds. Once sown, they grow — whether into flowers or thorns.
Application: Practice the three-filter test: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? If it fails any, remain silent.

    4. Practice Humility and Politeness.

Wisdom: Humility isn’t about thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. The polite person commands more than the arrogant ever will.
Application: Greet even those who despise you. Show grace to those who can do nothing for you. The seeds of kindness grow silently but fruitfully.

    5. Master Emotional Discipline.

Wisdom: He who angers you, controls you. Emotions are natural, but they make terrible masters.
Application: Practice the pause. When emotions flare, pause, breathe, reflect, then respond with reason, not rage.

    6. Keep Your Plans Private.

Wisdom: Success loves silence. The unborn idea is safest in the womb of your discretion.
Application: Share your victories, not your strategies. Let your results speak; let your silence confuse your critics.

    7. Resist Self-Centered Conversations.

Wisdom: People care more about themselves than your story. If you wish to be memorable, make them feel important.
Application: Ask about others' journeys, listen intently, and respond thoughtfully. The less you talk about yourself, the more powerful your presence becomes.

    8. Maintain Eye Contact & Confidence.

Wisdom: Confidence isn’t loud; it’s calm, direct, and unflinching.
Application: When speaking, fix your eyes on the listener with a relaxed gaze. Let your posture mirror your inner conviction.

    9. Celebrate Your Uniqueness.

Wisdom: The world doesn’t reward replicas; it celebrates originals.
Application: Identify your strengths, embrace your flaws, and find your voice. Authenticity magnetizes the right people and repels the wrong ones.

    10. Commit Fully or Don’t Begin.

Wisdom: Half-heartedness is the graveyard of greatness.
Application: Before starting, ask yourself, Will I finish this? Am I ready to sacrifice for it? If not, preserve your energy for a pursuit worthy of your all.

    11. Silence is the Best Answer to H@ters.

Wisdom: Not every insult demands your defense.
Application: Treat criticism as a mirror. If it’s true, adjust. If it’s false, ignore. Do not dignify pettiness with a reply.

    12. Train Your Mind to Think Critically.

Wisdom: The difference between mediocrity and mastery lies in perspective.
Application: Before believing anything, ask Why? and What if? Seek patterns, motives, and consequences in everything.

    13. Avoid the Crowd Mentality.

Wisdom: The majority is often wrong, history proves it.
Application: Stand for truth, even if it means standing alone. Be bold enough to disagree respectfully when the crowd chants foolishness.

    14. Dodge Drama & Manipulation.

Wisdom: A wise man never enters a battle where no prize exists.
Application: Don’t react to bait. Avoid circles where chaos is currency. Value your peace above fleeting vindication.

    15. Ask Thoughtful, Insightful Questions.

Wisdom: Questions open doors answers cannot reach.
Application: When in conversation, ask ‘why’, ‘what led to that’, ‘how did you feel about it’ — it deepens connections and sharpens your wisdom.

    16. Guard Your Time & Availability.

Wisdom: Over-availability breeds entitlement and disrespect.
Application: Be selectively accessible. Value your solitude, your time to reflect, learn, and recharge.

    17. Stay Dynamic, Not Stagnant.

Wisdom: Change is the only constant. Evolve, or you’ll dissolve.
Application: Learn a new skill every season. Challenge your routines. Travel through books, ideas, and places. Comfort zones are graveyards.

    18. Accept That Enigmatic People Are Both Loved and H@ted.

Wisdom: Mystery invites curiosity and criticism. The price of distinction is isolation from mediocrity.
Application: Don’t water yourself down for public comfort. Be kind, be wise, but never shrink to fit anyone’s fragile insecurities.

    Final Thought:

A happy, smart, and wise life isn’t accidental — it’s intentional. It’s built through daily choices, disciplined thoughts, guarded emotions, and bold actions. The one who masters himself controls his world.

  • REASONS WHY ALOT OF WOMEN ARE NOT HAPPY IN THEIR MARRIAGES...

Why is your woman not happy with you? Why is she easily angry, irritable, depressed, frustrated and very bitter towards you? Why did she lose respect for you in marriage? Why is she so emotionally unhappy, hates s€x and lost her charm?

    1. YOU DON'T APPRECIATE /COMPLEMENT HER.

Some men are perfect complainers and critics. They believe praising a woman will make her head swell and misbehave, even when she s slaving to death, they will rather attack, abuse, complain, criticize than appreciate her. If you are that type of man, you can never have a happy woman under your roof. A simple "Thank you"," You are doing a great job", "It's great having you in my life" will do a great magic and turn your marriage around. Learn to appreciate & complement your wife when she goes out of her way to please you. She will be happy and that gloom in your marriage will automatically disappear.

    2. YOU DON'T LISTEN TO HER.

Women are communication beings. I mean women love to talk, be listened to and well understood. When you are too busy to communicate with her, too reluctant to look into her eyeballs and let her know she is the most important person to you after God, you will have a frustrated, depressed wife. Women understand you can be so busy and needs time to unwind and think, yes! Women know, but don't make it a habit of ignoring your wife. She needs you to talk to her daily.

    3. YOU CHEAT ON HER.

Cheating is the most painful treatment you can give to a woman. Chasing side chicks, having emotional/sexual chats with other women on social media & your neighborhood may make your wife lose her mind. When you cheat on your wife, you have disrespected her, when you cheat on your wife, you have killed her emotionally no matter how much you give to her, when you cheat on your wife, you devalue her. When you cheat on your wife, you make her vulnerable to infection & deadly diseases. When you cheat on your wife, sex will no longer be intimate but a duty. No wife will ever be happy with an adulterous man. Stop it now and work on your marriage or you may end up divorced.

    4. YOU DON'T ADMIRE HER.

Some men will look at their very beautiful wife, acknowledge her beauty and attractiveness but to open their mouth and say it is a big problem. Some men need to be taught how to admire their women. Learn to open your mouth and tell your wife she's beautiful daily. No man out there should do that for you, it's your job. Admire her when she makes effort to look good for you. Admire her hair, body and natural endowments. Admire her uniqueness. Open your mouth and tell her. Women need to hear this as often as possible.

    5. YOU RUSH IN AND OUT OF S£X.

Just Little or no foreplay will leave her dry and uninterested. Rushing in and rushing out of Vaginàl is a killér of sexual intimacy in marriage. Learn to be romantic. Be patient with her, take things slowly till she is ready for intercourse. Do not pick your trouser and leave her on the bed, Do not roll over and sleep when it is over. Pull her close to your arms. Cuddle & make her feel your warmth embrace. Let her sleep in your arms. There is nothing as blissful as letting your wife sleep in your arms.

    6. YOU DON'T ASSIST WITH CHORES.

You sit in front of TV with remote in hand and tooth pick in your mouth while your wife is slaving in the kitchen, with one hand changing diapers, helping your kids with assignment, answering phone calls from clients, sweeping the apartment, preparing for the next day work. That's very bad. Your wife works as much as you do if not more but always come back home to meet dirty dishes & clothes waiting for her any day she returns. Learn to assist your woman at home. Don't turn her to your maid, don't watch her die of stress, don't make her look older than you.

    7. YOU COMPARE HER WITH OTHER WOMEN.

That's a shame. If you love her the way those women's husbands love them, she will be more virtuous than them all. Stop comparing your wife with women you don't know their weaknesses. If their husband's tell you their other side they have been enduring you will thank God for yours. Stop being covetous. Work on your marriage and have a better wife.

    8. YOU CORRECT HER IN PUBLIC.

Nothing embarrasses a woman more like her husband correcting or shouting at her in a public place. It is demeaning and very babyish. Every form of correction should take place in the house before stepping out and if at all you must correct as a matter of urgency, call her aside and speak to her softly, maturely and discreetly. You will earn her honour for protecting her image, she will respect you more and be happy with you.

    9. YOU LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER AGAINST HER.

This is wrong. You are not joined to your mother but your wife. You are not one with your mother but your wife. Some men don't understand the language of leaving and cleaving. You leave every form of emotional intimacy with your parents and bond with your wife. You should talk first to your wife not your mum when making decisions. Both of you should speak with one voice to your mum. Some men even leave the home running of their marriage to the mother and treat their wife like slaves in her marriage. No woman will ever be happy with you in that kind of arrangement -never!

    10. YOU DON'T TAKE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES.

How can a woman ever be happy with a husband who spends all his money on himself, strange women and his extended family members and little or nothing on his wife and children. These men appear nice, very generous, Philanthropic outside but inside, the woman is suffering, hungry and indebted. The rent is in arrears, children are sent home for school fees, debtors are harassed to bless him, but the tears of the wife and children are cursing him. Your wife's curse will work faster than all the supposed blessings you expect from your eye service. Charity begins at home. Your wife and children are more important than others. Take care of them first before taking care of outsiders. When your family is happy, well fed and clothed, they will be happy and bless you. People will bless you for helping you. God will also bless you abundantly.

Learn to put first things first. When your wife is happy with you, your life will run smoothly, doors of favour will open to you and you will increase in health, wealth and prosperity.

Do not make your wife unhappy, it will affect your marriage.

  • If you are an Igbo person, here are my recommendations for you in 2025. Online, it is increasingly becoming difficult for me to read comments on Igbo-related affairs. This is because most young people online lack basic history about our Igboness. They know absolutely nothing about being Igbo. Hence, I am compelled to suggest that you make time this year to read these books in order.

    1) “The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Oluadah Equiano” written by Olaudah Equiano and published in 1789

    2) Among The Ibos of Nigeria written by GT Basden and published in 1912

    3) The African Trilogy ( a combination of Things Fall Apart, Arrow of God and No longer at Ease) written by Chinua Achebe and published in 1958.

All those books were written before the Nigerian and Biafran civil war. Reading them will help you know more about Ndi Igbo and our uniqueness as a nation. After these three, you can then go for books about the War to help understand you have a comprehensive picture of what being Igbo in Nigeria and world over means.
