    DATE: SUNDAY, 6TH JULY 2025

    *TOPIC: QUALITY CHARACTER – A LADDER TO AUTHORITY.*

    SCRIPTURE: Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. ESTHER 2:15.

    *THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Character has a higher selling power than connection.*

    It has been confirmed that every scriptural provision is targeted at human profit. Whatever God says is because of what man will gain. God majorly does not say things for His own gains. Whatever He says is because of what man stands to gain.

    So, if God says we should live in upright character, is there any gain for us? Yes! There are so many gains, but today, we shall be looking at one of the gains of living upright, and that is Authority.

    Scripture confirms that upright character catapults people into authority. To possess quality character is to be positioned in authority. Most people who gained authority in scripture, had it at the frequency of quality character, and most people who lost authority in scripture lost it by the absence of character.

    Queen Esther was a perfect example of someone who was established in authority by the force of quality character. Esther gained the throne by character. In Esther 2:15, when the king Ahasuerus was looking for a replacement for queen Vashti, all the other virgins who came requested for what they desired, but Esther required nothing (Esther 2:15). That speaks about her character of contentment. That speaks about the absence of vanity; and that also speaks about self-control.
    Esther was catapulted into authority by the character of contentment and self-control.

    On the other hand, queen Vashti lost the throne at the frequency of character bankruptcy (Esther 1: 10-15). She was full of pride. She was rebellious towards her husband, the king, so she lost her position of authority and Esther took her place.

    Anyone who lacks character can never maintain authority. Character sells higher than beauty. Character has a higher market value than beauty. When Abraham’s servant was looking for a wife for Isaac in Genesis 24:10-22, he did not say, “O Lord, as I stand by this well, let the most beautiful girl that I see, be the wife of Isaac.” No! Rather, character was his first requirement for choosing a wife for Isaac.

    Character has a higher selling power than connection. Your uncle can give you his business card to present in an organization so you could be given a job, but can he manifest a good character for you? His business card may give you a job, but it is your character that will keep the job.

    Beloved, it does not matter where you are in life today, if you have quality character, the sky is your starting point. The opposite is also true; it does not matter where a person is in life today, if character is lacking, a crash is inevitable.

    Remember this: Character has a higher selling power than connection.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Ask God for the grace to uphold quality character

    2. Examine yourself; what is that bad character that can hinder you from fulfilling destiny? Do away with it.

    3. Consistently spend time with God in order shape your character.

    PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to consistently walk upright. Separate me from every negative tendency that may hinder me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

  • The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
    INSPIRATION:
    Do you ever think that if you become rich, all of your problems would go away? From today’s verse, we learn that wealth brings its own set of anxieties. Fear of theft and loss can rob a rich person of sleep and peace. But the one who is sustained with daily bread from the Lord rests in comfort, knowing that God meets all of his needs.
    PRAYER:
    Gracious God, each day You sustain me and my family. Thank You for Your provision, which is always enough. I take comfort in Your faithfulness, and it is with gratitude that I take shelter in the shadow of Your wing. Grow me in contentment, so that You and Your grace may always be sufficient for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

  • Someday, I want to see myself being happy with the person that I've become. I want to see myself grow as a better person, someone who remained kind despite of all the cruel things that I've been through. Someday, I want to see myself being genuinely happy. I know that I deserve it, and I want to smile again with peace and contentment in my heart.
    Someday, I want to see myself falling in love again with life and loving myself with all my heart. I want to see myself seeing my worth in every little way I can. I know how much I hated myself for a very long time and I deserve to forgive myself for doing such horríble things to myself. Someday, I want to give myself everything that I deserve— my happiness, peace, and healing.

  • *WEDNESDAY MORNING DEVOTION *

    *THE JOURNEY IS TOO SHORT*

    ```Psalms 90:12.
    Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
    Tidzidzisei kunatsoverenga mazuva edu, Kuti tizviwanire moyo wakachenjera.```
    *An elderly woman got on a bus and sat down. At the next stop, a strong, grumpy young lady climbed up and sat down beside the old woman, hitting her with her numerous bags.*
    *When she saw that the elderly woman remained silent, the young woman asked her why she had not complained when she hit her with her bags?*
    *The elderly woman replied with a Smile: "There is no need to be rude or discuss something so insignificant, as our journey together is so short, because I am going to get off at the next stop."*
    *This answer deserves to be written in gold letters: "There is no need to discuss something so insignificant, because our journey together is too short."*
    *Each of us must understand that our time in this world is so short. That darkening it with useless arguments, jealousy, not forgiving others, discontentment and bad attitudes are a ridiculous waste of time and energy.*
    *Did someone break your heart? Stay calm. The trip is too short.*
    *Did someone betray, intimidate, cheat or humiliate you? Relax. Don't stress. The trip is too short.*
    *Did someone insult you without reason? Shake it off. Ignore it. The trip is too short.*
    *Did a neighbor make a comment that you didn't like? Take a deep breath. Ignore him/her. Forgive and forget it. The trip is too short.*
    *Whatever problem someone has brought us, remember that our journey together is too short.*
    *No one knows the length of our trip. Nobody knows when it will arrive at its stop. Our trip together is short.*
    *Let us appreciate friends and family.*
    *Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving.*
    *In return, we will be filled with gratitude and joy. After all, our trip together is very short.*
    *Good morning lovely family, always stay blessed!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ*
  • I’ve cried when I’m happy
    And cried when I’m sad
    I’ve smiled through the good times
    And smiled through the bad
    I’ve screamed in excitement
    I’ve screamed out in pain
    I’ve gasped at the sunshine
    And gasped at the rain
    I’ve laughed when I’m nervous
    And when I’m elated
    I’ve sighed with contentment
    And when I’m deflated
    I’ve sung when I’m lonely
    And sung in a crowd
    I’ve shouted when angry
    And when I’ve been proud
    ‘Cause whether we’re up
    Or we’re riding a low
    Our feelings are desperate
    For somewhere to go
    We can’t keep them trapped
    And locked up in a cage -
    They force their way out
    ‘Cause they need to escape
    And sometimes we’re told
    That emotions are weakness
    That feeling is flawed
    If we let it defeat us
    But how can this be?
    Surely this must be wrong
    For what could be weak
    About something so strong
    That it cannot be silenced
    Cannot be tamed
    Can’t be kept down
    And cannot be contained
    So, when you next shout
    Or you laugh or you cry
    You scream or you smile
    Or let out a sigh
    Whatever the reason
    Just let yourself feel
    We’re not here to be quiet -
    We’re here to be real
  • Hey, friend, I see you're going after the shiny things in life, but let me tell you, those are just ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—น๐˜๐—ต.     A truly rich person isn't measured by their bank account or possessions, but by their relationship with God and their contentment in Him.
    Sure, it's fine to enjoy the blessings of life, but when they become the main event, we end up empty and unsatisfied. Real wealth is about knowing God, following Him, and finding joy and contentment in Him.
    I'm not here to squash your dreams, but to refocus your attention on what really matters. You were made for so much more than accumulating stuff. You were made to know and love God, and to live a life that reflects His glory.
    Let's not get caught up in chasing after things that will rust, fade, or get taken away. Let's zero in on the things that bring lasting joy and fulfillment. Let's get to know God better, follow Him more closely, and live a life that honors Him.
    You don't want to end up with a life that's all about the leftovers, only to realize too late that you've missed out on the real treasure. Let's make sure we're focusing on what truly matters, friend. Let's go for the real wealth - the kind that comes from knowing God and living a life that pleases Him.
    Owning your dream home is a transformative milestone that embodies personal achievement, comfort, and security. It is not just a structure of bricks and mortar but a sanctuary where aspirations, memories, and dreams take shape. The greatness of having your own dream home lies in its ability to reflect your identity, provide a space of belonging, and offer a lifetime of joy and fulfillment.
    Your dream home is a sanctuary tailored to your tastes, needs, and preferences. It represents the freedom to create an environment that mirrors your personality, from the choice of colors on the walls to the arrangement of furniture. Every room is a reflection of your style, whether it's a cozy reading nook, a state-of-the-art kitchen, or a backyard garden. This level of personalization creates a sense of peace and contentment that no rented property or temporary residence can provide.
    One of the most rewarding aspects of owning a dream home is the opportunity to build lasting memories. It becomes the backdrop for life's significant milestones, from celebrating holidays and birthdays to enjoying quiet evenings with loved ones. Each corner of the house holds a story—whether it's the laughter of children in the living room, family meals in the dining area, or cherished conversations on the porch. These moments make the house a home, creating a legacy for generations to cherish.
    Owning a dream home is also a symbol of stability and security. Financially, it is an investment that appreciates over time, providing a sense of long-term wealth and independence. Emotionally, it offers the peace of mind of knowing you have a permanent place to call your own, free from the uncertainties of renting or frequent relocations. It becomes a safe haven where you can relax and recharge, a place that anchors you in an ever-changing world.
