• *FOOD FOR THOUGHT.*

Every minute, someone leaves this world.

Age has nothing to do with it.

We're all in this queue without realizing it.

We never know how many people are in front of us.

We can't go to the back of the line.

We can't get out of line.

    We can't stop moving forward.

So, while we wait in line...

    Let's make peace!

    Let's do good!

    Let's tell the truth!

    Let's be honest!

This world will leave us one day, that's for sure.

There's no point holding a grudge against someone who could leave at any moment.

There's no point sending a brother to prison when you yourself could leave first.

What's the point of boasting about putting others down when you could be gone in the next few minutes?

Why do you let yourself be deceived by your money, your social position, and your connections, when you're not the first to have them?

While you seek your brother's death for a piece of land in the village, others exploit your continent and even invade planets.

    Evil is ignorance.

    Pride is for the foolish.

    Selfishness is for the poor.

    Betrayal is for the weak.

So let's do good while we're still alive!

Let's use the little time we have left for the course of humanity.

If you use an iPhone and your loved ones also have an iPhone, just add them to your “Find My” app.

They’ll always know where you are and you’ll also always know where they are as long as they have data.

iPhones remain findable even after it has been switched off so it’s great for even tracking down your device if it gets stolen.

If you use either and iPhone or android and you have loved ones that use either, download Life360. Send an invite code to them and you’ll know in real time where they are whether android or iOS.

One day, you may need to know where someone is or where their phone was last online. We don’t pray for it, but these things can happen.

Deadly US strikes hit Yemen fuel port used by Huthis
    https://jordantimes.com/news/region/deadly-us-strikes-hit-yemen-fuel-port-used-huthis

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->SANAA — The US military said it had destroyed a key Yemeni fuel port as it targets the country's Huthi rebels, who said Friday that 20 people had been killed in the strikes.

The attack on the Ras Issa fuel port aimed to cut off a source of supplies and funds for the Iran-backed Huthis, the US military said.

Washington has hammered the Huthis with near-daily air strikes since March 15 in a bid to end their attacks on civilian shipping and military vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The rebels began their attacks in late 2023, claiming solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. Israel's army said Friday they had intercepted an incoming missile from Yemen.

In a statement, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said: "US forces took action to eliminate this source of fuel for the Iran-backed Huthi terrorists and deprive them of illegal revenue that has funded Huthi efforts to terrorise the entire region for over 10 years.

"The objective of these strikes was to degrade the economic source of power of the Huthis, who continue to exploit and bring great pain upon their fellow countrymen".

Ships "have continued to supply fuel via the port of Ras Issa" despite Washington designating the rebels a foreign terrorist organisation earlier this year, the military command added, without specifying the source of the fuel.

Huthi health ministry spokesman Anees Alasbahi said the preliminary death toll stood at 20, including five paramedics.

There were also "50 wounded workers and employees at the Ras Issa oil port, following the American aggression", he said on X.

"The death toll is likely to rise as body parts are still being identified," he added.

    Fireball

The port lies along the west coast of Yemen on the Red Sea.

In images broadcast early Friday by the rebels' Al-Masira channel, which it presented as the "first images of the US aggression" against the port, a fireball lit up the area around the ships, while thick columns of smoke rose above what appeared to be an ongoing blaze.

"Civil defence rescue teams and paramedics are making every effort to search for and extract victims and extinguish the fire," said Alasbahi.

The Huthis have regularly fired missiles and drones on Israel since the war in Gaza broke out in October 2023 following an attack on Israel by Hamas militants.

"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted," Israel's army said Friday on Telegram, adding that aerial defence systems had been deployed "to intercept the threat".

Huthi attacks have hampered shipping through the Suez Canal -- a vital route that normally carries about 12 percent of world shipping traffic -- forcing many companies into a costly detour around the tip of southern Africa.

The United States first began conducting strikes against the Huthis under president Joe Biden's administration, and his successor President Donald Trump has vowed that military action against the rebels would continue until they are no longer a threat to shipping.

On Thursday evening, France's Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu said a French frigate in the Red Sea destroyed a drone launched from Yemen.

"Our armed forces continue their commitment to ensuring maritime freedom of movement," he said on X.

US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce told journalists Thursday that the Chinese satellite firm Chang Guang Satellite Technology Company was "directly supporting Iran-backed Huthi terrorist attacks on US interests".

"Their actions -- and Beijing's support of the company, even after our private engagements with them -- is yet another example of China's empty claims to support peace," she said.

Bruce did not initially provide details on the nature of the company's support for the rebels, but later referred to "a Chinese company providing satellite imagery to the Huthis."

Hizbollah 'will not let anyone disarm' it, says chief
    https://jordantimes.com/news/region/hizbollah-will-not-let-anyone-disarm-it-says-chief

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->BEIRUT, Lebanon — Hizbollah "will not let anyone disarm" it, the Lebanese group's leader Naim Qassem said Friday, as Washington presses Beirut to compel the Iran-backed movement to hand over its weapons.

Hezbollah, long a dominant force in Lebanese politics, was left weakened by more than a year of hostilities with Israel sparked by the Gaza war, including an Israeli ground incursion and two months of heavy bombardment that decimated the group's leadership.

The fighting was largely brought to an end by a November ceasefire, but not before the group's longtime leader and Qassem's predecessor Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli air strike.

"We will not let anyone disarm Hezbollah or disarm the resistance" against Israel, Qassem said in remarks on a Hezbollah-affiliated TV channel.

"We must cut this idea of disarmament from the dictionary."

His comments came hours after another Hizbollah official said the group refused to discuss handing over its weapons unless Israel withdrew completely from south Lebanon and halted its "aggression".

"It is not a question of disarming," Wafic Safa said in an interview with Hizbollah’s Al-Nur radio station.

"What the president (Joseph Aoun) said in his inauguration speech is a defensive strategy."

Safa, believed by experts to belong to the movement's most radical faction, said Hezbollah had conveyed its position to Aoun, who on Tuesday said he sought "to make 2025 the year of restricting arms to the state".

In his interview, Safa asked: "Wouldn't it be logical for Israel to first withdraw, then release the prisoners, then cease its aggression... and then we discuss a defensive strategy?

"The defensive strategy is about thinking about how to protect Lebanon, not preparing for the party to hand over its weapons."

Analysts have said that the once unthinkable idea of Hezbollah disarming may no longer be so, and may even be inevitable.

    Problem is Israel'

Under the November ceasefire, Israel was meant to withdraw all of its forces from south Lebanon.

But despite the deal, its troops have remained at five south Lebanon positions that they deem "strategic".

Israel has also continued to carry out near-daily strikes against Lebanon -- including on Friday -- saying it is targeting members of Hezbollah.

Under the truce, Hizbollah was to pull its fighters back north of Lebanon's Litani River and dismantle any remaining military infrastructure in the south.

Lebanon's army has been deploying in the south as Israeli forces pulled back.

Hezbollah says the ceasefire does not apply to the rest of Lebanon, despite being based on UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls for the disarmament of non-state groups.

Hizbollah was the only group to keep its weapons after Lebanon's 15-year civil war ended in 1990, saying that they were for "resistance" against Israel, which continued to occupy the south until 2000.

US special envoy for the Middle East Morgan Ortagus, who visited Beirut this month, said Washington continued to press Beirut "to fully fulfil the cessation of hostilities, and that includes disarming Hizbollah and all militias".

Safa said on Friday that both Hezbollah and the Lebanese army were respecting the terms of the truce.

"The problem is Israel, which has not done so," he said.

On Saturday, a source close to Hezbollah told AFP that the group had ceded to the Lebanese army around 190 of its 265 military positions identified south of the Litani.

US to withdraw some 1,000 troops from Syria
    https://jordantimes.com/news/world/us-withdraw-some-1000-troops-syria

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->WASHINGTON — The United States will roughly halve the number of troops it has deployed in Syria to less than 1,000 in the coming months, the Pentagon said Friday.

Washington has had troops in Syria for years as part of international efforts against the Daesh terror group, which rose out of the chaos of the country's civil war to seize swaths of territory there and in neighboring Iraq over a decade ago.

The brutal extremists have since suffered major defeats in both countries, but still remain a threat.

"Today the secretary of defense directed the consolidation of US forces in Syria... to select locations," Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement, without specifying the sites where this would take place.

"This deliberate and conditions-based process will bring the US footprint in Syria down to less than 1,000 US forces in the coming months," he said.

President Donald Trump has long been skeptical of Washington's presence in Syria, ordering the withdrawal of troops during his first term but ultimately leaving American forces in the country.

As Islamist-led rebels pressed forward with a lightning offensive last December that ultimately overthrew Syrian president Bashar Al Assad, Trump said Washington should "NOT GET INVOLVED!"

"Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT," Trump, then the president-elect, wrote on his Truth Social platform.

    Years of war against Daesh

The 2014 onslaught by Daesh prompted a US-led air campaign in support of local ground forces -- the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Iraqi government units.

Washington also deployed thousands of American personnel to advise and assist local forces, with US troops in some cases directly fighting the jihadists.

After years of bloody warfare, Iraq's prime minister announced a final victory over IS in December 2017, while the SDF proclaimed the defeat of the group's "caliphate" in March 2019 after seizing its final bastion in Syria.

But the extremists still have some fighters in the countryside of both countries, and US forces have long carried out periodic strikes and raids to help prevent the group's resurgence.

Washington stepped up military action against Daesh in Syria in the wake of Assad's overthrow, though it has more recently shifted its focus to strikes targeting Yemen's Huthi rebels, who have been attacking international shipping since late 2023.

US forces in Iraq and Syria were repeatedly targeted by pro-Iran militants following the outbreak of the Gaza war in October 2023, but responded with heavy strikes on Tehran-linked targets, and the attacks largely subsided.

Washington for years said it had some 900 military personnel in Syria as part of international efforts against Daesh, but the Pentagon announced in December 2024 that the number of US troops in the country had doubled to around 2,000 earlier in the year.

While the United States is reducing its forces in Syria, Iraq has also sought an end to the US-led coalition's presence there, where Washington has said it has some 2,500 troops.

The United States and Iraq have announced that the coalition would end its decade-long military mission in federal Iraq by the end of 2025, and by September 2026 in the autonomous Kurdistan region.

Deadly US strikes hit Yemen fuel port used by Huthis
SANAA — The US military said it had destroyed a key Yemeni fuel port as it targets the country's Huthi rebels, who said Friday that 20 people had been killed in the strikes. • TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE!
In today’s world, relationships can sometimes feel like just another item on life’s to-do list. But when you strip away the noise, one simple truth remains: two is better than one. That’s especially true when it comes to marriage.
Marriage isn't just about the fairytale moments or the highlight reels on social media. It’s about showing up—day in, day out—for your partner. It’s about building something that lasts through the highs, the lows, and all the everyday stuff in between.
So, why is two better than one?
For starters, life hits different when you have someone by your side. A strong marriage offers emotional support, companionship, and a safe space to be yourself. When one person is down, the other steps in. When one wins, both celebrate. It’s not just about sharing a life, it’s about multiplying the joy and dividing the stress.
Marriage also brings out the best in people. Living with someone who knows you inside and out means constantly being inspired, challenged, and encouraged to grow. Your partner becomes your teammate, your cheerleader, and sometimes, your biggest mirror. The journey isn’t always easy, but that’s what makes it meaningful.
Married couples often enjoy better mental and physical health, increased financial stability, and longer life expectancy. But more than statistics, it’s the everyday connection, the late-night talks, inside jokes, shared goals, that makes marriage so powerful.
Of course, no relationship is perfect. Marriage takes work, patience, and a whole lot of communication. But when both partners are committed, the rewards are undeniable.
So whether you're married, dating, or dreaming about the future, remember this: love isn’t about finding someone to complete you, it’s about choosing someone to do life with. Because at the end of the day, two really is better than one.

  • 7 THINGS THAT CAN MAKE YOU BROKE FASTER THAN VILLAGE PEOPLE

Forget jazz, forget enemies from the village—some of you are going broke at lightning speed, and it’s not because of witchcraft. Your own lifestyle is the real problem!

If you're always wondering "Who is eating my money?"—relax, Oga. The answer is you.

    BRUTAL THREAD:

    1. CHASING EVERY WOMAN YOU SEE

You think you're James Bond, moving from one fine girl to another, sponsoring their hair, nails, and data? Brother, you are your own Yahoo boy.

One babe says “I need urgent 2K”—you send.

Another one says “My rent is due”—you pay.

Next thing, your account balance is calling for GoFundMe.

Meanwhile, the same girls are in group chats laughing at you: “This guy dey try sha.”

Solution: Stop being an ATM with no PIN code. Focus on one woman or yourself first.

    2. LIVING LIKE A BIG BOY WHEN YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE IS SHOUTING HELP

Your salary is 50K, but you're in clubs ordering Hennessy like Davido. You don’t even have a car, but you're buying drinks for strangers—WHO SENT YOU?

Rich men are saving, you are spraying money.

Dangote is investing, you are doing “Odogwu” at the bar.

Elon Musk is buying companies, you are buying bottles for slay queens who don’t know your surname.

When the landlord comes for rent, you’ll start saying “Boss, abeg, things hard.”

Solution: Cut down on fake luxury. Even Jeff Bezos wears simple T-shirts. Be wise.

    3. SENDING MONEY TO FAMILY LIKE CBN

Your uncle calls: “We need money for burial.”
Your aunt calls: “No food in the house.”
    Your younger brother: “School fees.”

Now your account is empty, but when you need help? Nobody picks your call.

Oga, you are not the Minister of Finance. Even government doesn’t share free money like you do!

Solution: Learn to say NO sometimes! Help when you can, but don’t let family turn you into their personal budget.

    4. ALWAYS BUYING THE LATEST PHONE TO IMPRESS WHO?

Last month, you were using iPhone 12.
This month, you saw iPhone 15 Pro Max and sold your kidney to buy it.
Next month, iPhone 16 Ultra Mega Max will drop—what will you sell next? Your destiny?

Meanwhile, the person you’re trying to impress is using Tecno Pop 5 and doesn’t care.

Solution: If your current phone is working, rest. Your future is more important than “Dynamic Island.”

    5. FALLING FOR EVERY FAKE INVESTMENT SCHEME

They told you "Invest 50K, get 500K in 2 days."

You ran like Bolt, deposited your money.

Now, they’ve blocked you, and you’re writing epistles on Facebook: “Dear Nigerians, beware of fraudsters!”

Oga, they didn’t scam you, you scammed yourself!

Any investment that sounds like magic money is a Ponzi scheme in disguise.

Solution: If you don’t understand the business, don’t put your money there. Learn to invest wisely!

    6. GOING BROKE JUST TO IMPRESS SOCIAL MEDIA

Your house rent is due, but you're buying designer shoes to take pictures for Instagram. Who told you “likes and comments” can pay rent?

    You posted “Soft life only.”

But in real life, you’re trekking and borrowing money for food.

If your phone falls, you’ll cry because you can’t afford to fix it.

Solution: Stop forming fake rich life. Invest first, flex later.

    7. BEING TOO LAZY TO MAKE MORE MONEY

You sit at home, scrolling Facebook from morning till night, complaining: “No job, Nigeria is hard.”

Meanwhile, opportunities are passing you by! Are you expecting an angel to drop money from the sky?

People are making money online—you are watching TikTok videos all day.

People are learning skills—you are arguing about football.

People are opening businesses—you are waiting for your rich uncle to die so you can inherit land.

Solution: Get up and hustle! Even the Bible says “A lazy man shall not eat.”

    BOTTOM LINE:

If you're always broke, stop blaming village people. Your habits are the real witchcraft!

    Live within your means.

    Invest before you flex.

Stop impressing people who don’t care.

    Make smart financial decisions.

If this post hit you hard, don’t cry. Just change your ways!

  • Lady Reveals Amount She Was Paid To Dress AS ACCIDENT Victim At Obi Cubana's Birthday Party.
According to Daily Post, A woman has revealed how much participants were paid for portraying accident victims during a headline- grabbing appearance at businessman Obi Cubana' s recent birthday celebration.

The event, held in Lagos, gained massive attention on social media following an unusual entrance by nightlife promoter Pretty Mike. The spectacle stirred widespread discussion online, with many questioning the motive behind the dramatic display.

A TikTok user identified as Victoria Outfit has now come forward to shed light on the compensation given to those who took part in the controversial performance. In a video shared on her TikTok page, she explained that she and her best friend were among the women hired for the act. According to her, each participant was paid ₦10, 000 for their appearance.

Victoria also mentioned that the women were allowed to gather some of the money sprayed during the lavish celebration. She disclosed that financial hardship, particularly the need to pay rent, was the main reason for participating in the act.

" I and my bestie were part of the ' Pretty Mike bandage girls' . We had to do it because we wanted to pay our house rent, " she stated in her post. " Living in Abuja can be overwhelming, especially for young girls like us. The high cost of living makes it challenging to make ends meet. We pray God crowns our efforts with success.

  • Ful'ani Terror and the Sultan's Silence: Hausa people never expect something good from you

Yesterday, the Sultan of Sokoto called those who speak out against the unending violence of Fulani bandits “social media terrorists.” Let that sink in.

We, the Hausa people, are being slaug'htered. And instead of condemning the killers, the Sultan attacks those demanding justice. This is not new — your silence has always been loud. And your hatred for the Hausa people is not recent either. History remembers.

In 1804, Ful'ani under danfodiyo attacked and k'illed the Muslim ruler of Kano Muhammadu Alwali. In 1805, they attacked the Emir of Zaria during prayer. All the Hausa emirs then were Muslims — still, they were slain or attacked. That legacy of betrayal continues today.

You did not condemn the Ful'ani who:

Burned a bus filled with 42 Hausa travelers in Sabon Birni.

Kidnapped 279 Hausa schoolgirls in Jangebe, Zamfara (2021).

Abducted over 300 Hausa Muslim students in Kankara (Dec 2020).

Kidnapped nearly 100 schoolchildren in Kuriga, Kaduna (March 2024).

Abducted 80 girls from Yauri and sold them as slaves.

Shot at worshippers during Jumu’ah in Sabon Birni.

Opened fire on Muslims praying Taraweeh in Zamfara.

Burned a mosque and hospital in Zamfara — just this week.

Slaughtered the Emir of Gobir and left his body to rot in the wild.

You never spoke. You never condemned. Not once.

Even when the Sultan of Gobir was killed after leaving a meeting you convened, you said nothing. No condolences. No outrage. Just silence.

Now, you have the audacity to label grieving voices — our voices — as “terrorists”? The only thing you protect is your legacy of hypocrisy and your tribe’s impunity.

    Wallahi kowa ya sani
No ethnic group in the world has benefited more from Hausa generosity than the Fulani.
And no ethnic group has brought more suf'fering, bloo'd, and suffering to the Hausa than the Fulani.

We, the Hausa people, will not forget.
And we will not be silenced.
    This is just the beginning.

Ful'ani Terror and the Sultan's Silence: Hausa people never expect something good from you Yesterday, the Sultan of Sokoto called those who speak out against the unending violence of Fulani bandits “social media terrorists.” Let that sink in. You did not condemn the Ful'ani who: Burned a bus filled with 42 Hausa travelers in Sabon Birni. Wallahi kowa ya sani No ethnic group in the world has benefited more from Hausa generosity than the Fulani. And no ethnic group has brought more suf'fering, bloo'd, and suffering to the Hausa than the Fulani. We, the Hausa people, will not forget. And we will not be silenced. This is just the beginning. • SHY PEOPLE DON’T GO FAR IN LIFE

I know this may sound harsh, but it’s true.

Being shy has never built empires.

    It doesn’t attract opportunities.

    It doesn’t bring visibility.

And in the online space? Shyness will rob you of money, growth, and even the respect you deserve.

This image below shows where a lady accidentally overheard leadership in her company say
“She’s great, but she doesn’t speak.”
    “She’s too quiet. I don’t think she’s ready.”

Here’s What You Can Do If You’re Naturally Quiet.

    1. Create a Visibility Plan

Start showing up even if it’s in small ways. Comment in meetings. Share ideas. Post on social media.

    2. Practice Speaking

Voice notes, reels, hosting small live videos, start somewhere. Your voice is a tool. Use it.

    3. Redefine Confidence

Confidence is not loudness. It’s being sure of what you carry and sharing it despite the fear.

    4. Closed mouths don’t get fed

You can’t be silent and expect the world to recognize your greatness. The world rewards boldness.

You’re too loaded to stay hidden.

If you don’t speak up, someone less qualified will take what belongs to you, just because they were visible.

You don’t need a website. You don’t need a laptop.
    Just your phone and WhatsApp.

Here’s how you can turn it into your daily ATM:

    1. SELL PRODUCTS THROUGH STATUS MARKETING

Whether it’s thrift wears, perfumes, food, or digital products—status is your free billboard.

Take clear pictures, write short catchy captions and post 2–3 times a day.

People who view your status are already warm leads.

    2. USE BROADCAST LISTS TO FOLLOW UP WITH INTERESTED BUYERS

Instead of disturbing group chats, create a broadcast list of those who’ve shown interest before.

    Send personalized messages like:
“Hi Tolu, I just restocked the bag you liked last week!”

It feels personal and people respond to that.

    3. OFFER SERVICES AS A FREELANCER OR SKILLED PERSON

Are you a graphic designer, copywriter, or social media manager?
Use WhatsApp to get gigs and keep in touch with clients.

Post behind-the-scenes of your work, testimonials, and tips.
Let people see your skill on your status consistently.

    4. TURN YOUR WHATSAPP INTO A MINI ONLINE STORE

Use your DP, bio, and status to showcase what you do or sell.
    That’s your storefront.

DP = your product or service
Bio = what you offer + how to order
    Status = testimonials, offers, results

    Simple setup. Zero cost.

    5. TEACH WHAT YOU KNOW THROUGH WHATSAPP CLASSES

You can create a paid class, group, or training right on WhatsApp.

Pick a topic you know well (e.g. “How to grow on IG”, “How to design with Canva”)

    Charge a small fee (₦1k – ₦5k)

Host it in a group using voice notes, PDFs, or videos.
