Good Afternoon, Ogodo Jerome This afternoon is a beauty, just like you Upgrade Pro Users Promoted Posts HEALTH TIPS 💕💕 a month ago - Translate - *LIFESTYLE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TYPE 1 AND TYPE 2 DIABETES* Also, if you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes: *• IDENTIFY YOURSELF.* Make a note that says you have diabetes. Keep a glucagon kit nearby in case of a low blood sugar emergency. Make sure your friends and loved ones know how to use it. *• SCHEDULE A MONTHLY PHYSICAL AND REGULAR EYE EXAMS.* Your regular diabetes checkups aren't meant to replace yearly physicals or routine eye exams. During the physical, your provider will look for any diabetes-related complications and screen for other medical problems. Your eye care specialist will check for signs of eye damage, including retinal damage (retinopathy), cataracts and glaucoma. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also currently recommends hepatitis B vaccination if you haven't previously had it and you're an adult age 19 to 59 with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The most recent CDC guidelines suggest vaccination as soon as possible after diagnosis with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. If you are age 60 or older, have been diagnosed with diabetes, and haven't previously received the vaccine, talk to your provider about whether it's right for you. *• PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FEET* . Wash your feet daily in lukewarm water. Dry them gently, especially between the toes. Moisturize with lotion, but not between the toes. Check your feet every day for blisters, cuts, sores, redness or swelling. Talk to your healthcare provider if you have a sore or other foot problem that doesn't heal quickly on its own. *• CONTROL YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND CHOLESTEROL.* Eating healthy foods and exercising regularly can help control high blood pressure and cholesterol. Drugs may be needed, too. *• TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH.* Diabetes may leave you prone to more-serious gum infections. Brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day. And if you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes, schedule regular dental exams. Talk to your dentist right away if your gums bleed or look red or swollen. *• IF YOU SMOKE OR USE OTHER TYPES OF TOBACCO, ASK YOUR PROVIDER TO HELP YOU QUIT.* Smoking increases your risk of many diabetes complications. Smokers who have diabetes are more likely to die of cardiovascular disease than are nonsmokers who have diabetes. Talk to your provider about ways to stop smoking or to stop using other types of tobacco. • If you drink alcohol, do so responsibly. Alcohol can cause either high or low blood sugar. This depends on how much you drink and if you eat at the same time. If you choose to drink, do so only in moderation one drink a day for women and up to two drinks a day for men and always with food. Remember to include the carbohydrates from any alcohol you drink in your daily carbohydrate count. And check your blood sugar levels before going to bed. *• TAKE STRESS SERIOUSLY.* The hormones your body may make in response to long-term stress may prevent insulin from working properly. This will raise your blood sugar and stress you even more. Set limits for yourself and prioritize your tasks. Learn relaxation techniques. And get plenty of sleep. *ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE FOR DIABETES (HIGH BLOOD SUGAR) TREATMENT.* Many substances have been shown to improve the body's ability to process insulin in some studies. Other studies fail to find any benefit for blood sugar control or in lowering A1C levels. Because of the conflicting findings, there aren't any alternative therapies that are currently recommended to help everyone to manage blood sugar. If you decide to try any type of alternative therapy, don't stop taking the drugs that your provider has prescribed. Be sure to discuss the use of any of these therapies with your provider. Make sure that they won't cause bad reactions or interact with your current therapy. Also, no treatments — alternative or conventional — can cure diabetes. If you're using insulin therapy for diabetes, never stop using insulin unless directed to do so by your provider.

I've been battling with a spine disease for months now, in and out of hospital since January 2019, finally I was told d only solution is spine surgery, a very delicate dangerous surgery that can render me permanently paralysed for d rest of my life if not properly done, I was so scared and cried for many days and nights. The bill for such surgery runs into millions, I sold my rav4 SUV and a few other valuables I have, to raise d millions for d surgery, to cut a short story shorter, I finally did the surgery last night, in a clinic in abuja called Brain and Spine Surgery Consotium. Successfully. I want to say a big thank you to some good friends and family members who went out of their way to support me with d huge hospital bills. I will never forget u for supporting, instead of looking for Lame heartless reasons and excuses not to help. God bless u all immensely. I'm recuperating well, pls help me thank God. I survived it.

Let me tell you for free, bro, there are rules every man must respect if he wants to live like a king and not a clown. If you don’t follow these, you’ll find yourself stuck, weak, and wondering why life keeps slapping you in the face. 1. Respect yourself first If you don’t value yourself, no one else will. Self-respect is the foundation of every strong man. Weakness is a choice, strength is a decision. 2. Never tolerate disrespect From anyone, women, men, family, or friends. What you tolerate becomes your standard. 3. Purpose over pleasure Chasing women, parties, or fleeting highs won’t build you into a man of value. Lock in on your goals. Simps don’t survive here. 4. Control your emotions Get out of your feelings and into your focus. A man who can’t control his emotions is a man who will always be controlled by others. 5. Never explain your masculinity You don’t owe anyone an apology for being strong, assertive, and focused. Be a strong man, and let them deal with it. 6. Protect your time Don’t waste it chasing people who bring no value to your life. Time is the one thing you can’t get back. 7. Don’t argue with fools If you disappoint, you must appear before the council of brotherhood and explain why you’ve decided to waste your energy on people who aren’t worth it. 8. Walk away from toxic women and people Breast and ass are not good enough reasons to tolerate disrespect or manipulation. Let the truth be told, you’re either building or destroying yourself every day. 9. Build your body and your mind Hit the gym, read books, and learn new skills. A weak man, mentally or physically, will always finish last. 10. Live by your own rules Step up or step aside. The world will always try to control you, don’t let it. Be the master of your own destiny. Stay solid. Learn or perish. And remember, if you fail, fail forward. But if you quit, you’re done. 11. Never underestimate the power of God As a man,put all you do,your work and struggles on God bcos he is the only one who can make all your doings come through with his power. Stay solid and take notes

🌟 Discipline Over Procrastination: A Life- Changing Choice! 🌟 Hey friends, Today, I want to share a powerful decision that has transformed my life: choosing discipline over procrastination. 🙌 Procrastination is like a comfortable trap, always tempting us with short-term escapes from our responsibilities. But I've learned that yielding to it only delays our dreams and aspirations. 🌟 On the other hand, discipline is our steadfast ally. It empowers us to take consistent action, even when motivation is low. It's the key to unlocking our full potential and achieving the life we envision. 💪 Imagine starting each day with purpose, knowing that every step you take is another building block toward your dreams. It’s not always easy, but it's worth it! 🔥 🔑 Here’s what I've discovered: Small Wins Matter: Every small task completed builds momentum. Celebrate those victories! Consistent Action: Progress is about showing up every day, even when it's tough. Clarity & Focus: Discipline helps prioritize what truly matters, allowing us to focus on our goals. Long-term Success: Procrastination may offer a quick fix, but discipline builds lasting achievements. Let’s make the decision to embrace discipline and shape our futures with intention and determination. The journey might be challenging, but the rewards are deeply fulfilling. 🌈💼 Who's with me on this path to greatness? Let's support each other and share our progress! 🌟 #DisciplineOverProcrastination #LifeChangingDecision #UnlockYourPotential

🗣Sadio Mané: "I remember the first day I arrived in France to take tests and sign with FC Metz. I was supposed to train from the day I arrived but the coach told me to stay at home. And I had no credit on my phone to call my mother and tell her that I had gone to France. “The next day, I went with some of my friends who were already in Metz to buy some cards and I called her and told her: "Hello mom, I'm in France". She said to me: "What, which France?". She couldn't believe it! I said: "France in Europe". She replied: "What do you mean Europe? You live in Senegal, you are supposed to be with your uncle". I then said "yes but now I am in Europe.” “She was amazed, it was crazy! She was so surprised that she called me every day to ask me if it was true. She didn't believe me until one day I told her to go watch TV to see me play. She finally understood that my dream had come true.”

Stop associating with single ladies as a married woman! Before you attáck me listen; this is the quote you will often hear when you are about getting married or after your wedding ceremony. Men and women will tell you this; some men will even enforce their wives to let go of all their female single friends. I won’t practically say that the statement is inaccurate, but I’ll tell you that there is an exception to it: It’s literally unfair to generalize that all single ladies are a thrèat to married women. True friends, regardless of marital status, bring value and support to our lives. The single ladies you should be scared of are those who belittle marriage or make you feel like you’re missing out. The ones that often come around you to ring a bell that marriage is not an achievement; The ones that never see anything good about marriage, the reasons you will be careful of them is for them not to influence you wrongly, to make you insecure or to feel like there is something you are doing wrong or you are missing out on something, and NOT the genuine friends that have been there with you sincerely. Not the good single friends that give you the best advice, tell you when you are wrong ; and commend when you did well. The ones that try to make sure you are fine and give you motivations when you are down. *Don’t assume married friends are automatically better; some may bring unnecessary drama and competition, more than the single friends you are asked to avoid. Don’t just do away with good friends because you’re married, unless there is a genuine reason for it . Being single is not a disease. It’s a life stage and choice. You never know when you might need these friends. #yourfriend Lekwa princess ijeoma #TheVoice
