The Federal Government of Nigeria has formally closed its case against the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This development was disclosed by one of Kanu’s lead counsels, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, in a post on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after court proceedings on Wednesday.
According to Ejimakor, the presiding judge granted the defense team 14 days to file their written address in support of a no-case submission — a legal argument that Kanu has no case to answer. The prosecution was also given 14 days to respond.
With this, the matter has been adjourned until July 18, 2025, for further proceedings.

The Young woman found de@d in a hotel in Gwarimpa Abuja has been identified to be Itz Tessy on facebook. She checked in to a room with a man on the 16th of June but didn’t check out with the man. Few hours later, she was found murdęręd face down with her hands tied behind her. It appeared she had been be@ten and tied up with the hotel bedding material.
Whereas most people think this is a case of robbęry, there are reasons to believe this is might be a case of serial killing. Because, this is not the first of Its kind… and from the looks of things, it will happen again
