  • Annie Macaulay Idibia is not just outside — SHE’S ARRIVED. And baby, she didn’t just walk into fame; she crawled, cried, cooked, prayed and grinded her way to the front cover of every dream she ever dared to whisper.

Once upon a time in Surulere, Annie would literally take the longest route from UNILAG, just to catch a glimpse of movie posters — eyes scanning desperately to see if her face made it to the front. Not even the middle o, she just wanted a corner. Just something. A sliver of hope. The real dream wasn’t just acting; it was being visible enough to SELL a movie.

    Fast forward to now.....

Na marketers dey line up. She’s the face they beg to plaster all over town. She's no longer praying to be seen — she’s now deciding who gets to see her! Which film? Which script? Which energy? She’s in full control — producer-level status, pow pow pow!

But this didn’t just happen overnight. Annie’s story is a whole testimony. From sharing a tight one-bedroom space with her three brothers (one sadly late now), to helping her mum hustle in the cooking business — everyone just knew her as “the cook’s daughter.” Humble beginnings? That’s an understatement.

Last year, she looked back and gave herself flowers — the real kind. In her words, she’s “a little girl with a very big dream, from beneath the grass to GRACE UNLIMITED.” And what a powerful shift it’s been.

Even when her marriage with music icon 2Baba was cracking at the seams, Annie didn’t fold. In fact, she flexed. She bragged — and rightfully so — that she could stop working for two whole years and still live a soft, luxury life. Why? Because her name now rings bells in boardrooms, brand inboxes, and billionaire circles.

She’s been honored as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa, celebrated for her unmatched talent, her passion for women empowerment, her moves in fashion and business — and her unapologetic authenticity.

And who could forget when she graced Glamour Magazine? She didn’t pose as perfection — she poured her past: the pain, the hustle, the losses. Yet she stood tall, a child of grace, fully aware of how far she’s come.

Annie Idibia didn’t just blow. She BLOOMED.
And now? The same girl that used to squint at posters is the one everybody’s watching.

Don’t ever underestimate a woman with a dream and a prayer. Because one day, they’ll be the ones rushing HER.

  • FROM ACTRESS IYABO OJO: I was invited by The Police over a live video I made few years ago where I said some people should make themselves available for the investigation into Mohbad’s demise. My NGO wrote letters to The Governor, Attorney General of the State, Commissioner of Police etc in which we requested for an investigation into MOH’s de@th and a coroner inquest. I never said any specific person k!lled MOH. Mohbad’s wife, brother and others were also invited by the police. However I can not dictate how the police should conduct their investigations.

It is sad that some individuals have called for my demise, the destruction of my source of livelihood and have incited public v!olence against me and my children. I also received a letter of threat few days to my daughter’s wedding in Tanzania. They now inscribe my name in coffins. Also my opinion in the last elections subjected me to intimidation but I trust God to give me victory. I wish to clarify that I never accused anyone of being responsible for Mohbad’s de@th. I was simply reacting emotionally to disturbing videos that were circulating at the time.

  • "Dear men, any girl who says you must marry her before Knacking doesn't love you and is not a Vîrgin. You need to Test and confirm before putting a ring." Nosa Rex

"Sometimes I don't just understand what is wrong with some men. I can't believe that in 2025, a man will still be dating a girl and planning to marry her when he hasn't Knacked her even once. Forget all this stories of pre-marital s£x and all that. The world is changing and we need to move with the world. Before you marry any girl, you're supposed to Knack her. If she says she's a Vîrgin, knack her and confirm. What if you marry her and realize that her Kuntos is slacked? Knacking is a very important part of marriage which shouldn't be joked with. You both might even love each other but aren't compatible in Bêd. You need to check every corner of the Kuntos and be sure you like it before paying bride price.
There are some girls that go around Knacking everywhere and when they want to get married, they start forming Holy Mary. Men! Be wise so you don't fall for any of their trîcks. D0ke before you marry. If any girl says you can't d0ke her before marriage, just leave her and move on. A lot of marriages faîl because of S£x issues but they'll never tell you

    Nosa rex

    My humble opinion on this:
Do not let all these celebrities that have succeeded already lure you in to fornication All in the name of trying to follow the trend or to adapt cos the world is changing what if after sleeping with the lady and one or two happened the marriage didn't work out again
Moral lesson: if you test all the ladies and end up marrying none what did you gain

  • In secondary school, I fell deeply in love with a boy. The kind of love that felt all-consuming. He made me feel seen, wanted, special. Then one day, he brought up the idea of a blood oath.

He looked me in the eyes and said,
“If we do this, nothing will ever come between us. We’ll be bound forever.”

At 16, those words sounded romantic. But deep down, something in my spirit just didn’t sit right. My aunty saw the text message and confronted me.. when I was mumbling she gave me a resetting slap that cleared my eyes and that was the last time we talk about anything blood oat.

I still didn't broke up with him and A month later, we had a massive fight and broke up. I was heartbroken but still hopeful—we were young. Maybe we’d find our way back to each other.

    We never did.

Growing up without my parents, I lived with my aunt. I didn’t have much guidance, just a young girl trying to navigate life on her own.

Fast forward several years… I had grown, built a life, found my purpose. Then one day, I stumbled across his Instagram. Out of curiosity, I clicked on his profile...

    And I froze.

The person staring back at me looked nothing like the boy I once loved. He looked lost, unkempt, like life had dragged him through every corner of pain.

And in that moment, I asked myself,
“Is this the same person I almost tied my entire destiny to with a blood oath?” Nancy Isime

Moral lesson- Her Aunty deserve one cold Heineken

  • "After I married my wife, I noticed something strange… Money kept disappearing from my wallet! "

I’d ask her and she’d say, “Am I not the guardian of your wallet?”
I asked my daughter too — she said “It’s not me, daddy.”
But deep down, I suspected it was madam.

So I decided to test the waters… and spice things up with a little prank.
I bought a condom and got my doctor friend to cook up a positive pregnancy test. I tucked both inside my wallet .

Came home, dropped my wallet at my usual spot, grabbed cold beer from the fridge, and waited.

    Few hours later… Wahala landed.
My wife stormed in and slammed my wallet on the table.

    "Who owns THIS?!" she shouted.

I couldn’t help it — I just burst out laughing and said, “So you’re the thief after all.”

    Her response?
"When I married you, I heard '1+1=1'. Meaning everything you own is also mine — including your wallet and boxers. But that doesn’t answer my question, Mr. Man... WHO owns this pregnancy test??”

Omo! That day, my mouth dry. I explained tire! Thank God my doctor friend backed me up.

Since that day? I no prank her again ooo!

Moral lesson- Women will always find a way to flip the script and win the argument. Even when they’re caught red-handed.

  • Regina, you’re like a child to me. You grew up in my presence. I remember when you and your mother used to come to my house — small, respectful girl. I watched you grow, and I honestly thought you had sense… that you’d marry someone close to your age. But no, greed carried you far.

Private jets, designer bags, flying around the world — all for a lifestyle you could’ve worked for yourself. Instead, you married a man old enough to be your great-grandfather, all because you wanted luxury overnight. My dear, that’s not success. That’s shortcut.

You think because you now have some fame and money, you can open your mouth and talk to me anyhow? When I talk, you should be listening. I’m the woman you wish to be — I built myself, no shortcuts, no sugar-coated help. Everything I have today, I earned it with my sweat.

Don’t get it twisted — I won’t trade words with you again. I know you just want to trend. You and your husband have been quiet for a while, and this is your way of reminding Nigerians that you still exist. But me? I don't need stunts. My name speaks for itself.

And please, don’t mistake marriage for maturity. If you insult me again, I’ll remind you of everything you’ve tried to sweep under the rug.

This is your final warning. Don’t cross that line again."- Angela okorie fires back at Regina Daniels after she called her mad.
