  • _*THE BEST WAY TO BE A FATHER:*_

    1. BE THERE
The biggest failure as a man is having a child and rejecting that child, abdicating your responsibility as a father, being quick to have sex and quicker to run away when pregnancy comes. Too many children are hurting because of a father who is alive but has disowned them, it makes the child grow feeling unwanted and unloved, it dents the child's self esteem and some become adults with a constant feeling of rejection. If you have a child, be there; no matter how bad things are between you and the mother of the child- be there; you owe it to your young one.

    2. TELL YOUR DAUGHTER SHE IS BEAUTIFUL
The first man to compliment a girl should be her father, the first man to take note of her beauty should be her dad. A girl should grow up convinced she is beautiful and feeling like a king's princess that even when boys and men try to woo her saying she's beautiful she responds "I know, dad has been telling me that for years". Too many girls fall for preying men because they are desperately looking for affection, they have daddy issues and had no encounter with a male figure who genuinely loved them before the preying men noticed their ***** and hips; so they fall prey to men who use compliments and give attention as a carrot to lure to a trap that leads to hurt.

    3. MODEL MANHOOD TO THE SONS
A boy comes into the world as a naive student who will absorb what the male figures around him teach. He can be taught the right way to be a man or be misled. He learns how to treat females whether good or bad from the men around him. He should learn proper manhood from the father. The father should model how best to treat and respect females, how to love as a man, how to work, how to provide, how to be a man of integrity. This learning should be in the form of loving mentorship, too many men grow up with an absent father, too many grow up with a father who puts too much pressure on the poor boy inorder to win daddy's approval that they grow up frustrated and angry at the world because their transition from boy to man was cruel and made to be a test to win a nod than a smooth mentorship process. Too many boys are left to find their way and in so doing will make many mistakes and end up half-grown boys in men's bodies.

    4. EAT WITH YOUR FAMILY
Food brings people together, one of the greatest show of security to a child is when the dad makes time to share meals.

    5. BE THE SPIRITUAL LEADER
The father should be the High Priest. He should lead the child/ children towards living a Godly life, he should be seen praying, reading God's word, living out a Godly life, loving. The child should be given a Godly foundation that will shape a stable future and the father should be seen submitting to the God who gave the child life and who makes parenthood possible.

    6. LISTEN
A child with a father who loves to listen grows in confidence. When a child feels he/she can tell daddy anything, no battle will intimidate the child. Sometimes you don't have to say much, just sit back and pay attention. The first need of love is to be listened to, to be treated like how you feel and what you have to say is important.

    7. GIVE ADVICE
A father should be there to offer counsel whether solicited or not. Children cry for direction. As a father, be involved in the process of the seeking of answers. Be open about your mistakes (no lying you used to get straight A's in school), your childhood, your lessons and your expectations of the child. Give advice not as a dictator whose word is final lest you isolate yourself from the child because the child can do what you ask yet fear and despise you; but help the child understand why you are insisting on your way, help the child understand your reasons, train your child to think through solutions; this way, he/ she will grow up with the self-sufficient capacity of making sound and wise decisions.

    8. BE PRESENT
The father's presence should be felt, too many fathers have left parenting to the wife. The best test of love is the giving of time, do not fail this test.

    9. REFRAIN FROM THROWING MONEY AT THE PROBLEM
No matter how rich you are, fatherhood is not done by throwing money at issues. When your child complains of your absence, when problems arise, when dealing with your child becomes a handful and you feel you have no time; don't use money to silence or appease the child. Fatherhood is a hands on approach, it will not be easy but its fruits are sweet. Don't escape through your ATM. Material things can contain a child for a while, but soon the child will look around and see empty things but no love from dad.

    10. SHOW UP
Make daddy appearances; show up at your child's sports day, birthday, parent's day, graduation or any other special day. Make random visits to what your child cares alot about even if for a few minutes. Meet your child's friends briefly, let your child feel daddy's loving eyes are watching over me. An employee feels special when the boss makes a random visit to smile at the employee's work, a citizen feels special when The President makes a surprise visit to greet the citizen, a child feels special when daddy makes a loving phonecall or shows up to demonstrate he cares.

    11. BE A SUPER HERO
Be strength to your child, the rock that is a shelter, the refuge and defender to your child. The attributes of God the Heavenly Father, model them as an earthly father.

    12. CAST A VISION
With your wife, cast a vision for your family. Define what you expect from your child because children love living up to a target. Make the vision and values that should govern your family plain and simple for the child to live by. Your role is to show leadership.

    13. STAY FOCUSED
Casting a vision is not enough, you must not abandon ship. The man is the one who proposes to a woman for marriage, he initiates the formation of a family, but too many men let down the family they themselves initiated. They start having affairs, wasting time and money on women and being distracted by meaningless pursuits as their children suffer. Don't let go of the steering wheel, drive your family car its full course.

    14. BE A SUCCESS STORY,
SUCCEED AS A MAN successed as a professional, succeed in life, shine in society. Children love to brag about their dad, be the best man in your child/ children's eyes, the one to grow up to be like. Let it be an honor to carry your name as a surname.

    15. LOVE THE MOTHER
Your wife acquires a new position when you have children, she is not just your wife but the mother of your children. Your child/ children love both of you the same and the desire of a child is to see mum and dad in love working as a team. A child should grow up with the demonstration of how true love looks like from mum and dad.

  • VOICE OF FAITH DAILY DEVOTIONAL

    MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2025

    FATHER I REFUSE SHAME/DISGRACE

    Text : Jeremiah 3:24 KJV

For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.”

    MESSAGE
One prayer I usually pray for myself is God don't allow me to see shame or disgrace.

Disgrace is made up of two words: ‘dis’ and ‘gracia’. ‘Dis’ means out of and ‘gracia’ means grace. So, the word disgrace means out of grace. Or rightly put in our modern English, it means loss of honor, loss of respect, loss of good name.

It can also mean to bring shame upon a person. The word shame in the Bible has so many aspects to it. Shame can come as an offence or as a consequence of sin to someone who has done something wrong and has been discovered.

Shame can come as a result of pride or when the reputation of a person has been injured. So, the result of being disgraced is shame. Shame also can come from God. In order to reprove sin, God can allow shame to come upon a person.

Say Lord, please don't allow me and my family to see shame in the name of Jesus.

    SOURCES OF SHAME

The Bible makes us to understand that shame can come from God, it can come from satan, and can also come from man.

I Know a pastor who saw shame when a member gave the church he was privileged to be pastoring at that time one million naira for church project, but he diverted the said money for his personal use by acquiring a fairly used camry car.

But, just after a year he bought the car, the whole truth surfaced and he was sacked unceremoniously. I will like you to say again, “I reject every spirit of shame/ disgrace the enemies have assigned against me in the name of Jesus.”

Seeing yourself half dressed or completely naked regularly in the dream should not be treated with kids gloves.

Jeremiah 3: 24 says, “For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.” So, shame can devour the labour of a person.

There was this popular actress many years ago who was forced to leave the shores of Nigeria when her nude pictures was published in a popular newspaper in Nigeria.

This powerful emotion called shame is a great weapon in the hand of the enemy and he likes to use it on people and places. The terrible thing about it is that it hits people from the inside and destroys them internally. It could eat away the strength of the confidence of a person.

It can disable and amputate a person completely and make him ineffective in the service of the Lord. To be mighty in faith and in the Holy Spirit, you must confront the spirit of shame and defeat it.

There was this popular brother I know that had his wedding cancelled just 2 days before the wedding. He slept with his would be bride, and the bride got pregnant in the process.

In a bid to cover their shame; they aborted the pregnancy. So they felt everything has been covered. When the church hospital carried out their own pregnancy test, it was positive.

This brother denied of ever having any canal knowledge of the said sister. After, several tests the sister blood samples were still reading positive. Being a lawyer he threatened to sue the church for defamation of character.

But, the whole truth came out eventually sutfaced after much pressure on the sister. She then confessed to my then senior pastor that indeed the brother ate the forbidden fruit and got her pregnant.

They carried out an evacuation to cover up their tracks, but still the sisters blood sample still returned positive.

    KINDS OF SHAME

1 Guilty shame: This happens when a person violates the law of decency and he is embarrassed.

2 Social shame: This kind of shame occurs when a person is embarrassed because he or she made a social blunder.

3 Innocent shame: This happens when a person is accused of an offence he is not guilty of. When somebody’s character is damaged without justifications

4 Public shame: This is embarrassment because of physical or social blunder.

5 Shame of discrimination: When a person feels mentally, socially or ethnically inferior to other persons.

6 Shame of inadequacy: That is when somebody feels inadequate.

7 Shame as a result of the gospel eg persecution.

The shame that comes from God can be handled with God. When we repents the Lord will forgive us and will remove the shame from us

But the shame that the enemy plans must be confronted and dealt with.

HOW TO BE A PERSON OF HONOR

& BE WISE; proverbs 3: 35 says, “The wise shall inherit glory but shame shall be the promotion of fools.” So foolish living and actions that are not. There are certain information that shouldn't be on your phone

& BE DILIGENT: Proverbs 10: 5 says, “He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in a harvest is a son that causeth shame.”

Sleeping during the time of physical or spiritual harvest will bring disgrace. When others are struggling, and you just sit down and take no action, it means you are inviting disgrace upon your life.

& BE HUMBLE: Proverbs 11: 2 says, “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lonely is wisdom.”

The Bible says that pride brings shame. Proverbs 16: 18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

& TRAIN UP YOUR CHILDREN: Proverbs 29: 15 says, “The rod and reproof give wisdom but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” So, parents who allow their children to do what they like are preparing for shame.

When raising your children learn to call a spade a spade and not a farm tool.

A child you pamper today will tamper with your tomorrow.

&KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS:. Genesis 3: 9 – 10: “And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself.”

Shame and nakedness could come from sin. Avoid actions that would amputate your good name and rubbish your character.

May shame and disgrace be far from us in Jesus name.

    PRAYER POINT

Father, in the name of Jesus, please don't allow me to see shame in life or ministry

KINDS OF SHAME 1 Guilty shame: This happens when a person violates the law of decency and he is embarrassed. 2 Social shame: This kind of shame occurs when a person is embarrassed because he or she made a social blunder. 3 Innocent shame: This happens when a person is accused of an offence he is not guilty of. When somebody’s character is damaged without justifications 4 Public shame: This is embarrassment because of physical or social blunder. 5 Shame of discrimination: When a person feels mentally, socially or ethnically inferior to other persons. 6 Shame of inadequacy: That is when somebody feels inadequate. 7 Shame as a result of the gospel eg persecution. The shame that comes from God can be handled with God. When we repents the Lord will forgive us and will remove the shame from us But the shame that the enemy plans must be confronted and dealt with. HOW TO BE A PERSON OF HONOR & BE WISE; proverbs 3: 35 says, “The wise shall inherit glory but shame shall be the promotion of fools.” So foolish living and actions that are not. There are certain information that shouldn't be on your phone & BE DILIGENT: Proverbs 10: 5 says, “He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in a harvest is a son that causeth shame.” Sleeping during the time of physical or spiritual harvest will bring disgrace. When others are struggling, and you just sit down and take no action, it means you are inviting disgrace upon your life. & BE HUMBLE: Proverbs 11: 2 says, “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lonely is wisdom.” The Bible says that pride brings shame. Proverbs 16: 18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.” & TRAIN UP YOUR CHILDREN: Proverbs 29: 15 says, “The rod and reproof give wisdom but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” So, parents who allow their children to do what they like are preparing for shame. And he said I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself.” Shame and nakedness could come from sin. Avoid actions that would amputate your good name and rubbish your character. May shame and disgrace be far from us in Jesus name. PRAYER POINT Father, in the name of Jesus, please don't allow me to see shame in life or ministry Victor Udomoh is the Lead Pastor, Ark of Royals Worship Center AKa Engraced Saints Assembly.

  • "Marry this girl at your own risk, she's a single mom of two. My fellow brothers, if you want peace of mind in a relationship, Pls!! steer clear of any single mom as a whole.

Speaking from the terrible experience I've had with this lady, I've been there & I'm advising you as a brother that cares..

I met this girl 2022; a single mom of twins, 2 daughters age 3, from a previous relationship which she told me was a toxic one. Well, I actually didn't mind as long as the children where not around, then those kids were living with their grandmother back in the village while she worked in town as a nurse.

We dated for 8 months then & she got pregnant for me though we didn't plan for it to happen.. Unfortunately, her mother passed when she was 7 months pregnant with my child & her kids relocated to town.

This was the most annoying moments of my life bcuz, I've never wanted to hv anything to do with her kids. I tried to act like it was ok but i couldn't keep up.

I had already made it clear to her i didn't want her kids around when she once brought up the idea the time she was 2 months pregnant when she told me she was thinking of going to the village to take her children. But i refused & gave a clear warning, stating that; i do not want to have anything at all to do with another man's children.

So when the kids relocated back from the village to the city after their grandma's funeral. I advised her to take the kids back to their father, who is alive & healthy, but she refused. Her excuse being that he had rejected her pregnancy & she couldn't let her daughters stay with him & his new wife. I didn't push the issue, i let it slight since i believed it was baby hormones disturbing her from reasoning well since she was pregnant

However, a year after she gave birth, I felt disrespected as she continued to insist on keeping the children despite my warnings and insistence that she take those kids to their father coz i want nothing to do with another man's babies. Infact, After numerous arguments, I ended the relationship, coz never can it be me, being a father to another man's children when i can have mine.

To cut the long story Short, i got married last year. YES I GOT MARRIED TO AN OBEDIENT AND RESPECTFUL WIFE THAT LISTEN & DOES EXACTLY AS I TELL HER.

I don't have kids yet with my wife but, I'm asking to take my child from this lady but she wouldn't hand my daughter over to me cuz her plans is to be using me to feed her other 2 children, She wants to be using me to support her other 2 kids which are not in anyway related to me.

It's honestly annoying & frustrating to be sending money & buy things for my daughter, knowing she'll share them with her other kids.

I just regret the day I met her. My mind was deceived into thinking I was in love. Since then, I've had no peace of mind. I can't be financing my child's build from my sweat and also involving another mans kids that aren't mine its not done. If she wants to feed her children with my sweat it's not going to work for her. Never!

Quinta, if you think you can use me to feed your children, think again. And trust me, I won't stop xpozìn you until you hand over my daughter. I won't be taken advantage of, it can never be me, You better think of another way to feed & support your children bcoz I'm Smarter than you think, if you think you can use me think again!

  • THE DEVIL'S MISTRESS
    FINALE
The grand villa, once a gilded cage echoing with tension and Amanda’s venomous whispers, had transformed into a sanctuary bathed in golden light and the vibrant hum of genuine joy. The "Welcome Home" party wasn’t just for Jessica; it was a rebirth for the entire household. Paper lanterns, reminiscent of the secret baby shower but multiplied a hundredfold, adorned every archway and balcony, casting a warm, celebratory glow. Lush floral arrangements overflowing with crimson hibiscus, golden birds of paradise, and fragrant white jasmine replaced the sterile opulence. The air thrummed with the infectious rhythms of highlife music and the laughter of Scar’s men – no longer just guards, but an extended family sharing in their leader’s profound relief and happiness.
Jessica stood near the sweeping staircase, a vision in flowing ivory silk. The lingering shadows of fear and hardship were gone, replaced by a radiant serenity that seemed to emanate from her very core. She watched Scar move through the crowd, his usual intimidating presence softened into an almost boyish delight. He greeted his men with firm handshakes and claps on the back, his deep laughter ringing out freely, a sound many hadn’t heard in years. His eyes, however, constantly sought hers, anchoring himself in her presence. Every few minutes, he would weave his way back to her, his hand finding the small of her back, his lips brushing her temple, a silent, possessive reassurance. "Mine. Safe. Home."
Amidst the joyful chaos, Scar spotted Ghost standing near the open terrace doors, a quiet sentinel observing the celebration. Chioma was beside him, her hand resting lightly on his arm. Scar excused himself from a conversation and walked towards them, his expression turning solemn. The music seemed to fade slightly as he approached.
"Ghost," Scar said, his voice low and thick with emotion. He stopped before the man who had been a shadow, a weapon, and ultimately, a savior.
Ghost straightened, his usual impassive mask in place, but his eyes held a flicker of wariness.
Scar didn’t offer a handshake. Instead, he placed both hands firmly on Ghost’s shoulders, a gesture of profound respect and intimacy reserved for the closest of brothers-in-arms. He looked directly into Ghost’s eyes, his own dark gaze unwavering and sincere.
"Words are cheap," Scar began, his voice rough. "But they are all I have right now to express what can never truly be repaid." He paused, the weight of the past months heavy in the silence. "You saved her life. You saved *my son’s* life. When I was blind with rage, walking in darkness, you were the one who held the light. You saw the truth when I refused to. You risked everything – your position, your life, my wrath – to protect Jessica when I couldn’t, when I *failed* her." Scar’s voice cracked slightly. "You brought her back. You kept her safe. You gave me back…" He glanced towards Jessica, his eyes softening, "...everything."
He squeezed Ghost’s shoulders. "My gratitude isn't just for tonight. It’s a debt etched into my bones. You have my loyalty, Ghost, not as an employer, but as a brother. Now and always. Whatever you need, whenever you need it – it’s yours. Without question." He finally released him, stepping back slightly, but the intensity of his gaze remained. "Thank you. For Jessica. For my son. For my life."
Ghost, a man of few words, swallowed hard. The stoic mask fractured, revealing a depth of emotion rarely seen. He gave a single, sharp nod, his voice gruff when he finally spoke. "Just bringing you home to what matters, Boss. To *who* matters." He glanced at Chioma, a softness touching his eyes. "We did it together."
Chioma beamed, tears glistening. Scar nodded, the profound understanding passing between them. He clasped Ghost’s hand firmly this time. "Together," he echoed. The moment solidified a bond forged in fire, stronger than any empire.
Weeks later, the villa was hushed, filled with a different kind of anticipation – sacred and primal. Jessica labored not in a sterile hospital, but in the sun-drenched master suite Scar had transformed into a birthing sanctuary. Chioma, now officially Jessica’s sister and confidante, was her unwavering pillar, alongside a trusted midwife. Scar paced the adjoining sitting room like the lion he was, his usual composure shattered. Every muffled cry from Jessica sent a jolt of terror and helplessness through him. He heard William’s low murmur trying to offer reassurance, but the powerful kingpin was reduced to a bundle of raw nerves, praying to deities he’d long ignored.
Then, cutting through the tense silence, came a new sound – a strong, indignant wail. A sound that stopped Scar’s heart before setting it pounding with a frantic, overwhelming joy. The door opened. Chioma emerged, her face radiant, tears streaming down her cheeks. "Boss…" she whispered, her voice thick. "Come meet your son."
Scar moved as if in a dream, pushing past her into the room. The scent of blood and effort hung in the air, but it was eclipsed by something purer, sweeter. Jessica lay propped on pillows, exhausted but glowing, her face a picture of awestruck love. And in her arms, swaddled in soft white linen, was a tiny, perfect human being. A shock of dark hair, a button nose, and eyes screwed shut as he voiced his displeasure at the bright new world.
Scar approached slowly, his massive frame seeming too large, too clumsy for this fragile miracle. He sank to his knees beside the bed, his eyes fixed on the tiny face. Jessica smiled weakly, shifting slightly. "Sebastian… meet your son. Adebayo Sebastian Scar."
Tentatively, reverently, Scar reached out. His large, scarred hand, capable of such violence, trembled as he gently traced the curve of his son’s impossibly soft cheek. The baby’s cries subsided slightly, tiny fingers unfurling. As Scar’s fingertip brushed that miniature hand, the tiny fingers instinctively curled around it with surprising strength.
The dam broke. A single tear, then another, escaped Scar’s tightly shut eyes, tracing a path down his scarred cheek. A sob, raw and unexpected, ripped from his chest. He bowed his head, his forehead resting gently against Jessica’s arm beside the baby, his shoulders shaking silently. The fear, the rage, the betrayal, the relentless pursuit of power – it all dissolved in the face of this profound, terrifying love. He wept for the man he’d been, for the pain inflicted, for the miracle granted.
"He’s perfect," he choked out, lifting his tear-streaked face to look at Jessica, his eyes blazing with a love so fierce it stole her breath. He placed his other hand over hers where it cradled the baby’s head. "Both of you. My world." He leaned down, pressing the most tender kiss first on Jessica’s sweaty forehead, then on the downy head of his son. "I swear on my life," he whispered, his voice thick with conviction, his gaze locked on the tiny face, "I will protect you. Both of you. With every breath, every drop of blood. Nothing will ever harm you again. You are my heart. My sanctuary. My *everything*." The Lion of Lagos had found his true purpose, not in territory or fear, but in the fierce, unwavering protection of his pride
Four months later, Adebayo was a thriving bundle of energy, his dark eyes already holding a disconcerting echo of his father’s intensity, often softened by a gummy smile that could melt stone. Life settled into a blissful rhythm. Scar embraced fatherhood with a fierce, almost comical devotion, often found pacing the nursery at 3 AM with Adebayo asleep on his broad chest, or conducting business meetings via video call with the baby propped in a sling.
One quiet afternoon, Jessica found Scar in his study, engrossed in building a ridiculously complex block tower for Adebayo, who watched with rapt fascination. Sunlight streamed through the windows. Jessica sat beside him on the plush rug, leaning her head against his shoulder. "He’s getting so strong," she murmured, watching their son grab a block.
"He’s a Scar," Scar rumbled proudly, carefully adding another block. "Strength is in the blood."
Jessica took a deep breath, a secret smile playing on her lips. "Speaking of strength… and blood…" She reached into the pocket of her flowing dress and pulled out a small, familiar plastic stick. She placed it gently on the carpet beside the tower.
Scar froze, his hand hovering over the next block. His gaze snapped from the test to Jessica’s face, then back to the test. Two clear pink lines. His breath hitched. Understanding dawned, slow and then blindingly bright. He dropped the block, ignoring Adebayo’s startled gurgle. He turned fully to Jessica, his eyes wide, searching hers.
"Jessica?" His voice was barely a whisper, filled with disbelief and burgeoning hope.
She nodded, her smile widening, tears sparkling in her eyes. "Another little lion cub. Or maybe a lioness this time. Due in about seven months."
A roar of pure, unadulterated joy erupted from Scar, startling Adebayo, who blinked and then let out a delighted squeal. Scar swept Jessica into his arms, lifting her off the rug, spinning her gently despite her laughing protests. He buried his face in her neck, his laughter mingling with tears of profound gratitude. "Another chance," he breathed against her skin, setting her down but holding her close. "Another miracle. You give me everything, my lioness. Everything."
He kissed her then, deep and slow, pouring all his love, his relief, his awe into the touch. Later that night, after Adebayo was asleep, their reunion was a slow, tender exploration. It wasn't the frantic claiming of the past, nor the desperate passion after Amanda’s exposure. It was a celebration of life, of their enduring bond, of the future stretching bright before them. He worshipped her body, the subtle new curve taking shape beneath his hands, whispering promises against her skin, their movements a beautiful, synchronized dance of love and creation.
Adebayo was six months old, a sturdy, curious baby with his father’s intense gaze and his mother’s gentle smile, when Jessica walked down the aisle. Not in a cathedral, but at dawn on the private, white-sand beach of a secluded Seychelles island. The guests were few but deeply cherished: Her parents, beaming with pride and tearful joy; Chioma and Ghost, holding hands; William, Kola, Musa, and a handful of Scar’s most trusted men, now truly family.
Jessica wore not a traditional white gown, but a stunning creation of layered, whisper-thin ivory silk that flowed like water around her, subtly cinched beneath her breasts to accommodate the gentle swell of her second pregnancy. Her hair was woven with fragrant frangipani blossoms. She carried a simple bouquet of tropical white orchids.
Scar waited for her beneath a canopy woven with vibrant bougainvillea and seashells, barefoot in the sand, wearing crisp white linen trousers and an open-necked ivory shirt. He held Adebayo, dressed in a tiny linen suit, who stared wide-eyed at the ocean. But as Jessica approached, guided by her father, Scar’s gaze locked onto hers. The raw love, the fierce protectiveness, the awe he’d felt holding his son for the first time – it all shone in his eyes, amplified a thousandfold. Tears tracked freely down his face as she reached him.
The ceremony was simple, profound. They spoke vows not written by anyone else, but forged in the fires they’d walked through together. Jessica promised her strength, her unwavering love, and the sanctuary of her heart. Scar vowed his protection, his absolute fidelity, and his endless gratitude for the family she’d given him. He included Adebayo in his vows, promising to be his guide, and placed a gentle hand on Jessica’s belly, whispering a promise to the child yet to come. When they kissed, the rising sun painted them in gold, the turquoise waves their witness.
Their honeymoon wasn't just a vacation; it was a month-long immersion in peace, connection, and the simple joy of being a family. They spent mornings building sandcastles with a delighted Adebayo, afternoons napping in hammocks strung between palm trees, Scar’s hand resting possessively on Jessica’s growing bump. Evenings were spent sharing fresh seafood under the stars, Adebayo asleep in a sling against Scar’s chest, Jessica leaning against his shoulder. They talked – truly talked – about their fears, their hopes, their dreams for their children. They swam in crystal-clear lagoons, explored vibrant coral reefs, and simply existed in a bubble of love, far removed from the shadows of Lagos.
One moonlit night, after settling Adebayo in the villa’s nursery, Scar led Jessica back to the beach. He spread a blanket on the sand, the only sound the gentle sigh of the waves. He pulled her down beside him, wrapping his arms around her from behind, his hands cradling her belly. He rested his chin on her shoulder, looking out at the vast, star-strewn ocean.
"From the slums of Lagos," he murmured, his voice a soft rumble against her ear, "to the devil’s mistress… to my wife. My queen. The mother of my children." He kissed her temple. "My Jessica. My sanctuary."
Jessica leaned back into his embrace, covering his hands with hers on her belly, feeling the tiny flutter within. She looked up at the endless sky, then back at the sleeping villa where their son dreamed. "Our sanctuary, Sebastian," she whispered, turning her head to capture his lips in a tender kiss under the watchful moon. "Built together. Forged in fire. Found in love."
The Lion had found his true kingdom – not in fear or territory, but in the boundless, fiercely protected love of his lioness and their cubs. The Devil’s Mistress had become the Queen of his heart, and their story, scarred but unbreakable, was only just beginning. The future stretched before them, bright as the dawn over the Indian Ocean, filled with the promise of peace, family, and the enduring strength of a love that had conquered hell itself.
    THE END
THE DEVIL'S MISTRESS FINALE The grand villa, once a gilded cage echoing with tension and Amanda’s venomous whispers, had transformed into a sanctuary bathed in golden light and the vibrant hum of genuine joy. "Mine. Safe. Home." Amidst the joyful chaos, Scar spotted Ghost standing near the open terrace doors, a quiet sentinel observing the celebration. You gave me back…" He glanced towards Jessica, his eyes softening, "...everything." He squeezed Ghost’s shoulders. For my son. For my life." Ghost, a man of few words, swallowed hard. The stoic mask fractured, revealing a depth of emotion rarely seen. He gave a single, sharp nod, his voice gruff when he finally spoke. "Just bringing you home to what matters, Boss. To *who* matters." He glanced at Chioma, a softness touching his eyes. "We did it together." Chioma beamed, tears glistening. Scar nodded, the profound understanding passing between them. He clasped Ghost’s hand firmly this time. "Together," he echoed. The moment solidified a bond forged in fire, stronger than any empire.
