• The Silent Cry: The Real Dangers of Abortion

Intro: A True-Like Story That Happens Every Day

Ama was only 19, in her second year at the university. Bright. Ambitious. Full of dreams.
But life doesn’t always go as planned.

She found out she was pregnant. The father? A guy who had already moved on. Family? She feared the shame. Friends? Most encouraged her to "just take it out and move on."

So one quiet afternoon, Ama walked into a backstreet clinic—no signboard, no license, just a promise of quick results. She came out with a heavy heart, bleeding… not just physically but emotionally and spiritually.

Days later, Ama collapsed in her hostel. The infection had spread. Her womb was damaged. Her dreams of ever carrying a child again? Gone.

This is not just Ama’s story. It is the story of thousands of young women across Ghana and Africa. Some survive. Some don’t. Most carry the scars forever.

    What Is Abortion?

Abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy before the baby can survive outside the womb.
While some abortions are carried out under strict medical guidance due to life-threatening complications, unsafe abortions—especially those done secretly, by untrained persons, or in unsanitary places—pose deadly risks.

Dangers of Abortion (Especially Unsafe or Repeated)

    1. Physical Health Risks

Severe bleeding (hemorrhage): Can lead to death if untreated.

Infections: Unsanitary tools or poor hygiene can introduce bacteria that damage reproductive organs or cause sepsis (blood poisoning).

Womb perforation: Instruments can tear the uterus, leading to long-term complications or emergency surgery.

Infertility: Damage to the womb or fallopian tubes can result in permanent infertility.

Organ damage: Unsafe procedures can harm nearby organs like the bladder or intestines.

    2. Mental and Emotional Trauma

Depression, guilt, and regret are common.

Post-Abortion Syndrome: A condition similar to PTSD, marked by anxiety, nightmares, emotional numbness, and self-blame.

    3. Social and Spiritual Consequences

Emotional distance from partners or family.

Isolation due to fear or stigma.

Spiritual guilt or disconnection for those with strong religious values.

Common Myths That Push Women Toward Abortion

“It’s just a small problem, take it out.”
→ No. Pregnancy involves two lives: the mother and the child.

“Abortion is safer than giving birth.”
→ Only when done legally and under medical care. Unsafe abortions kill more women than childbirth in many places.

“You can’t get pregnant again after just one abortion.”
→ Many women have faced infertility after a single poorly done abortion.

    What Should You Do Instead?

Talk to a health professional: Seek counseling and support services.

Look into adoption: Many families are looking to adopt children.

Educate yourself: Know your body, understand protection, and make informed decisions.

Join support groups: You're not alone. There are safe spaces to help you make the best decision.

The Way Forward for Ghana and Africa

    We need more education—not judgment.
We need safe spaces, not silence.
We need men to take responsibility, not escape it.
We need communities to empower, not shame.
Let’s protect our women, our daughters, and our sisters from the trap of unsafe abortions.

*Golden Rules for a Happy Marriage – Built to Last, Grow, and Inspire*

    1. *Talk Every Day* – Talk about everything and anything. True connection comes from open, daily conversations. Silence creates distance, but communication builds intimacy.

    2. *Fight the Problem, Not Each Other* – You are on the same team. Disagreements are natural—just don’t let them make you enemies. Focus on finding solutions, not blame.

    3. *Keep No Secrets* – Honesty isn’t just about truth; it’s about trust, safety, and unity. Transparency keeps hearts connected.

    4. *Give More Than You Take* – Love isn’t a transaction, it’s a daily choice to serve, care, and uplift—without keeping score.

    5. *Appreciate Loudly, Criticize Softly* – Praise in public, correct in private. Let your words be seeds of love, not wounds of regret.

    6. *Don’t Let Ego Win* – Pride kills connection. Be quick to say “I’m sorry,” and even quicker to forgive. Humility saves what pride destroys.

    7. *Touch Often* – A simple touch can say, “I’m here,” “I care,” “I choose you.” Never underestimate the power of physical closeness.

    8. *Protect Each Other’s Dignity in Public* – Be their safe space. Defend their name, honor their presence. Loyalty is louder than words.

    9. *Share Goals, Money, and Dreams* – You’re not just coexisting—you’re co-creating a life. Build together, plan together, dream together.

    10. *Choose Love Daily* – Love isn’t just a feeling—it’s a decision. Choose your partner again and again, even on the hard days. That’s where real love grows.

  • What no one told me about marriage before I enter that I want to tell you.

This is for those planning to marry or those who just got married.
If you are open-minded, you can still read.
    Nobody knows it all.

    1. Immediately you get married, even before having a baby, go and register your family for health insurance.
NHIS is one of the common ones and the most available in hospitals.
It will save you a lot.
There are some things the rich won’t tell you.
With NHIS, you can walk into any hospital and get treated cheap depending on the package.
A friend of mine once did an operation and all he paid was ₦10k something that would have cost ₦400k.

    2. Have a family doctor very very important.
See, no church will tell you this.
Even if you don’t have money for a family doctor, have someone you can call in case of emergency.
Especially a pediatrician when you start having kids.

    3. Also, have a family lawyer.
Recently, our family lawyer saved us over ₦500k in rent that I wanted to forfeit.
But because she stepped in and did her job, money was refunded seamlessly.

    4. If you can afford it, have at least one domestic staff.
Someone that can at least help ease the work in the house for you and madam.
My brother, ejiro kwa afufu anya isi.
    Get help if you can.

    5. Buy things in bulk.
The reason I live like a wealthy man today is because I buy everything I need down to toothpaste in bulk.
You spend more buying in bits than when you buy in bulk.
That’s one of the reasons I created my sharing platform to enable family men and women with common goals.
There is nothing we don’t share. Some of you reading this are in that group.

    6. Pay your children’s school fees before school resumes.
As I’m talking to you now, I’ve already sent SGM the kids’ school fees that’ll be paid in September.
I don’t have to worry about it again.
    It helps me plan myself.
Do everything possible to pay school fees before resumption. You won’t know what you’re doing until money goes on leave from your side.

    7. Strive to have passive income.
Something that can generate at least ₦3-5k every day.
No matter what try and get something like that.
It will save you from a lot of stress.

    8. See the friends and circle your kids will have tomorrow everything depends on the school they attend.
This one is very, very important.
Even if you don’t have money, find a way to send your children to one of the best schools.
You won’t realise what you’re doing until they come of age.

9.I learnt this one from my dad always have family meetings.
You, your wife, and your kids no matter how small they are.
Discuss problems, solutions, and way forward.
Allow the kids air their opinions.

    Ask the kids:
Is there something mummy and daddy are doing that they don’t like?

    Same thing with your wife.
Talk about what you both can do to have a stable and loving family.
This helps in uniting the family.

Every month is fine or even every 6 months.
Just make it a habit and a culture.
It’ll become a memory that sticks for the kids, and for you and madam too.

Everyone’s opinion in the family matters.
And as the man, it’s your job to hear everybody’s opinion and choose the best way to run the family.

This isn’t just for the man alone madam can initiate it too. There’s no perfect formula, yes. But this one I listed? It works every time.
I repeat if you try it, you’ll save yourself a lot of unnecessary headache and stress.
You can add yours... enjoy your weekend.

  • What's really happening here? who's forcing this relationship between Arsenal and Chelsea every season?

Did we have to buy players from Chelsea before we've a good season? Arsenal go on to agree a deal for this unwanted player in our squad in excess of £50m and five years deal for Noni Mad-duaeke.

But we're stuck in Victor Gyokeres deal because of €5m add ons and payment structure, with all our struggling for hungry striker like him for good three years.

Mad-duaeke will be back up to Bukayo Saka, where we already have a prosperous and promising talent from Hale End (Ethan Nwaneri).

What will happen to his development, how about the right wing flank where we're stuck with Martenelli and needed urgent competition to get the best out of him; how about Leandro Trossard, what happen to him?

Last season Arsenal contributed £100k to Raheem Sterling weekly wages, just to come and seat on the bench for the entire season; even when we lost all our best attacking options to injury.

Why not Eberechi Eze instead this unnecessary transfer of Maduaeke; he's a player i never wanted at Arsenal because he's from Chelshiitt.

Does Arsenal have to do business with Chelsea before IFFF clear our transfer dealings?

Am just piss off with this signing, especially after believing this season will be a promising one for Ethan Nwaneri; who already proved he's there for the challenge and real Arsenal soldier.

    Mr. Arteta why nah?

What's really happening here? who's forcing this relationship between Arsenal and Chelsea every season? Did we have to buy players from Chelsea before we've a good season? Arsenal go on to agree a deal for this unwanted player in our squad in excess of £50m and five years deal for Noni Mad-duaeke. But we're stuck in Victor Gyokeres deal because of €5m add ons and payment structure, with all our struggling for hungry striker like him for good three years. • From Northern Monopoly to Yoruba Rotation?

A Deep Look at Buhari vs Tinubu Appointments and the Tribal Virus Slowing Nigeria

They say the more things change, the more they stay the same — but in Nigeria, it seems things just change tribally, not nationally.

    Let’s start with the facts.

During President Buhari’s administration, key federal positions were overwhelmingly filled by individuals from the North. Not just the heads of agencies, but even their deputies. From EFCC to DSS, NNPC, NDLEA, NPA, NSCDC, NIS, FRSC, NPS, and nearly every other major institution — it was North on North. In fact, over 80% of these agencies had both leaders from the same region. It wasn’t governance; it was regional occupation.

Now enter President Tinubu. A new era, a new hope. But did we really leave tribal politics behind?

On the surface, Tinubu’s appointments show more balance. Agencies now have North–South or South–North combinations. There’s a visible attempt to mix things regionally. At least, on paper, it looks like a step in the right direction.

But here’s where it gets messy — almost all the Southern appointments under Tinubu are Yoruba. His tribe. From AMCON to the Army, Navy, DIA, DSS, and more, it’s still ethnic stacking, just done differently. We’ve moved from Northern monopoly under Buhari to Yoruba favoritism under Tinubu. Same wine, different tribal bottle.

WHY TRIBAL APPOINTMENTS ARE DESTROYING NIGERIA

    1. They kill meritocracy — people are chosen based on tribe, not ability. That’s why institutions rot.

    2. They destroy national unity — no one wants to believe in “one Nigeria” when only one group dominates.

    3. They fuel ethnic tension and resentment — every tribe begins to see others as threats instead of partners.

    4. They block true federal character — when only Hausa, Fulani, or Yoruba dominate, where are the Igbos? The Ijaws? The Ibibios? The Tivs? The Nupes?

    5. They breed mediocrity at the top — because positions are shared like family inheritance, not national responsibility.

TINUBU VS BUHARI: WHO’S MORE TRIBAL?

    Let’s be honest.

Buhari didn’t even pretend to balance. The North had it all. The South was an afterthought.

Tinubu is trying to mix things — but only if you're Yoruba. The Igbo man is still watching from the sidelines. South–South is barely noticed.

So the Obidients who cry “tribalism!” under Tinubu aren’t entirely wrong — but many of them were silent under Buhari.
And the Buhari loyalists who scream “Tinubu is fair” are conveniently forgetting how they defended Northern domination for 8 years.

Hypocrisy is the only thing everyone seems to share equally in this country.

    IF NIGERIA MUST MOVE FORWARD...

We must kill tribalism in appointments. The presidency is not a tribal office. National agencies are not clan estates. Until we put merit and fairness above tribe, Nigeria will continue to crawl while other nations run.

Let appointments reflect federal character, not ethnic calculation. Let every Nigerian child — North, South, East or West — believe they can rise to the top without a tribal godfather.

Who did worse — Buhari or Tinubu?
Is Tinubu’s balance real, or is it Yoruba rebranding of old tribal games?
Can Nigeria ever break free from ethnic politics?

Drop your thoughts. Argue with sense. But speak your truth.
