Permit me to be blunt!
You must be very daft if you still believe that Buhari died sometime ago, and a "Jubril" replaced him as an impersonator.
Your reasoning is just limited within a box, and you have no knowledge about world geo-politics.
Have you ever sat down to reason how possible it is for an impersonator to be given express access to dine and wine with the world's most important leaders?
Do you have any idea of the level of background check and security profiling you must pass before you meet some of these leaders?; yet, a certain "Jubril" by-passed all of it.
So, a so-called impersonator(Jubril) was able to fool the CIA, GRU, M16, MOSSAD, MSS, R&AW, etc?
He and his co-conspirators were also able to keep it a secret from international news agencies and investigative journalists?
None of the world's top intelligence agencies knew that a certain Jubril was impersonating the president of the most populous black nation on earth; yet somehow, only MNK knew this......una funny!
And don't even start with "they were all paid off to keep quiet".......it makes you sound more ******! How in the world do you pay off everybody in the world to keep quiet?
Ever heard of the "Watergate Scandal?". It took just two amateur investigative journalists to expose some secrets the Nixon presidency had been hiding.......an exposure that bolstered the journalists' careers.
If there was ever a Buhari impersonation secret:
International investigative journalists will feed off that news to make a career for themselves....
International news agencies will fight to be the first to break the news....
International intelligence agencies will surely know about it, and will not give Jubril access to the world's most powerful leaders....
You can't pay them all off!
If you were smart, you wouldn't be buying into, or peddling such shallow-minded conspiracy theory. But you are not smart.....you are daft, very daft!

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Niger State Chapter, under the leadership of Amb. Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq, urgently calls upon His Excellency, Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, to take immediate action regarding the escalating banditry attacks that have been wreaking havoc in the Rijau, Magama, Mariga, and Kontagora Local Government Areas of Niger State. The persistent violence and insecurity in these regions have created a climate of fear and unease among residents, making it imperative for the state government to step in decisively.
These attacks have not only led to loss of lives and properties but have also disrupted the daily lives of countless families, hampering agricultural activities and overall economic stability in the affected areas. The youth council emphasizes the urgent need for enhanced security measures and strategic interventions to restore peace and security in these localities. It is crucial for the government to engage with local leaders, security agencies, and community members to develop comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of banditry and foster a safer environment for all citizens.
Moreover, the council appeals to the state government to consider providing compensation to the families of vigilantes who have lost their lives while bravely defending their communities against these threats. These vigilantes play a vital role in combating insecurity, often placing their lives on the line to protect others. Acknowledging their sacrifices through compensation would not only honor their memory but also encourage continued community involvement in the fight against crime.
In conclusion, the call for immediate intervention and support for the families of fallen vigilantes is vital for rebuilding trust within the community and ensuring that residents feel safe and secure in their homes. The youth council urges the state government to act swiftly and decisively to address these pressing challenges in Niger State. The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Niger State Chapter, under the leadership of Amb. The death of former President Buhari in London should offer the Nigerian political class another opportunity for sobriety and circumspection.
As President, Buhari had 8 years to offer selfless leadership and change the country for the better. He abused and missed that golden opportunity.
Buhari had all the power and resources to build a standard hospital in Nigeria that would have catered for his medical needs, but he failed to do so.
He returned to power in 2015 by projecting himself as a reformed democrat, but he did not only continue in his military attitude to governance, he transformed into a civilian dictator and a serial desecrator of human rights and democratic norms.
Those who benefited from Buhari’s misrule can grieve endlessly about his death, but the millions of Nigerians whose lives and sources of livelihood were destroyed by his ungodly and tyrannical actions also have the right to ventilate their feelings.
Politicians who make the lives of Nigerians miserable during their lifetime cannot be venerated as saints in death.
A culture that allows people to blatantly lie about the dead cannot bring progress and prosperity.
I do not celebrate Muhammadu Buhari’s death, our mortality is what makes us to be humans. However, the living should always reflect on what they’ll be remembered for when they die.
To his family, Buhari may have been a caring and loving father, but to many Nigerians, he was a colossal disaster.
Those who are alive today and actively ruining the lives of Nigerians and destroying the country should remember that they’ll be gone someday.
It is a sad commentary that Nigeria is cursed with kleptocratic dictators who are only out to steal, kill and destroy.
Our politicians destroy our country while enjoying their best lives abroad.
When they are sick, most of them seek medical care abroad. Many of them also die abroad and their corpses are brought back to be buried in the same Nigeria that they destroyed.
As Buhari faces the judgment of his maker, it is my prayer that those currently in power who are making lives miserable for us will realize that they will also face their eternal judgments. - Ibibehe EffiongThe death of former President Buhari in London should offer the Nigerian political class another opportunity for sobriety and circumspection. Governor Dapo Abiodun Announces the Passing of Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Awujale of Ijebuland
It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the revered Awujale of Ijebuland. Oba Adetona joined his ancestors today, July 13, 2025 at the age of 91 leaving behind a remarkable legacy that has significantly shaped Ijebuland, Ogun State and Nigeria in general.
It is indeed double sadness that Oba Adetona joined his ancestors the same day that the former President, Muhammadu died in a London, the United Kingdom hospital.
Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona was a remarkable royal father, who ascended the throne in 1960, marking the beginning of a transformative era for Ijebuland. Throughout his reign, he was a beacon of unity, cultural preservation, and progressive development. His dedication to the welfare of his people was evident in his efforts to foster educational advancements, healthcare improvements, and economic growth within the state and Nigeria.
Under his guidance, Ijebuland witnessed remarkable strides in infrastructure and community development, establishing itself as a model of progress in Ogun State. His leadership not only enhanced the cultural heritage of Ijebuland with the Ojude Oba festival attaining international standards but also solidified its reputation as a thriving hub of commerce and tradition.
As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the extraordinary life of Oba Adetona and honour his contributions to our country. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of his people will forever be etched in our hearts.
May his soul rest in peace, and may we continue to uphold the values he instilled in us during his illustrious reign.

When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hastily and thoughtlessly removed fuel subsidy on the day of his inauguration, he triggered an economic avalanche that has since buried the average Nigerian under the weight of inflation, hunger, and despair.
In a bid to manage the self-inflicted crisis, the administration promised to pay a wage award to federal civil servants as a temporary cushion pending the conclusion of negotiations on a new national minimum wage. That promise, like many others under this government, has become a broken covenant.
It took the Tinubu administration a staggering 10 months to arrive at a new minimum wage figure. By implication, the Federal Government owes 10 months of wage award arrears to federal workers. Yet, only six months have been paid and that too after a series of unfulfilled assurances and avoidable delays. As of today, the Federal Government owes four months of wage awards, amounting to ₦35,000 monthly, a total of ₦140,000 per worker.
While several state governments have shown commendable responsibility in the management of labour affairs, the Tinubu-led Federal Government has distinguished itself by its callous indifference and utter disdain for workers’ welfare.
To make matters worse, instead of engaging in dialogue or fulfilling its promises, the government has now resorted to tyranny and suppression of free speech. Nearly two weeks ago, Comrade Andrew Uche Emelieze was arrested and detained for attempting to organize a peaceful protest to demand the payment of the overdue wage awards. His only "crime" was speaking up for workers abandoned by the state.
We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Comrade Emelieze. His continued detention is an affront to democracy, a slap in the face of every Nigerian worker, and a chilling reminder of the authoritarian drift of the Tinubu administration.
Let it be known: Nigerian workers will not be silenced, intimidated, or forgotten. The economic hardship is real, the hunger is biting, and the government has a duty to act, not repress. -AAWhen President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hastily and thoughtlessly removed fuel subsidy on the day of his inauguration, he triggered an economic avalanche that has since buried the average Nigerian under the weight of inflation, hunger, and despair. -AA -
THE BREAD BOY
A Short Story With Morals.
On a certain day, a young boy who sold sweet bread was having a really bad sales. He had walked several hours under the scorching heat of the sun without anyone stopping him to buy a bread. He became frustrated, exhausted and angry.
Then he said to himself.
"I think I will take a little rest under a shade, and then I'll continue. I might get lucky and sell some bread"
He deliberately tried to ignore the situation to keep his hopes up.
As he wandered the streets, looking for a place to rest, an elderly woman stopped him. She uttered.
"You look so tired and weary. And it looks like you haven't sold a bread yet. Oh, poor child struggling under the burning sun"
The boy whispered.
"What do you suggest I do now, ma'am?"
The elderly woman said.
"You should give up already. As it stands now, it doesn't look like you'll sell a bread today. Just go home already. Or would you rather spend all day roaming around unnecessarily on the streets?..."
The boy remained speechless as he watched the elderly woman walk away. At that very instant, a young man who was standing nearby and had overheard the short conversation, walked up to the bread boy and said.
"I think she's right. You should quit already. Don't you see how exhausted you are? It's already a bad sales day for you and there's nothing you can do about it. Just go home now, otherwise you'll fall sick from excessive stress"
The boy suddenly felt discouraged and bewildered. With little or no hope of selling his bread, he decided to give up for the day. So, he turned and left immediately.
But no sooner had he left, than a man drove his car down the street, asking some group of people.
"Have you seen the kid who sells bread around the streets? I want to buy all his bread to feed the children in our orphanage"
Someone replied.
"I think he has already retired for the day"

Beloved, we should give our lives to God and stop thinking of ourselves. When we focus on Him, He will show us how to live a meaningful life. Each morning put God first and He will be faithful to help us live a life that pleases Him. Let us be encouraged to trust him and find joy in giving our lives to Him. (Eph 2v20)
Lord, l offer you all that l am and all that l have. I want to live for you, not for myself. I will keep my focus on you and start each day in conversation with you. You will always be my top priority... Amen.

What no one told me about marriage before I enter that I want to tell you.
This is for those planning to marry or those who just got married.
If you are open-minded, you can still read.
Nobody knows it all.
1. Immediately you get married, even before having a baby, go and register your family for health insurance.
NHIS is one of the common ones and the most available in hospitals.
It will save you a lot.
There are some things the rich won’t tell you.
With NHIS, you can walk into any hospital and get treated cheap depending on the package.
A friend of mine once did an operation and all he paid was ₦10k something that would have cost ₦400k.
2. Have a family doctor very very important.
See, no church will tell you this.
Even if you don’t have money for a family doctor, have someone you can call in case of emergency.
Especially a pediatrician when you start having kids.
3. Also, have a family lawyer.
Recently, our family lawyer saved us over ₦500k in rent that I wanted to forfeit.
But because she stepped in and did her job, money was refunded seamlessly.
4. If you can afford it, have at least one domestic staff.
Someone that can at least help ease the work in the house for you and madam.
My brother, ejiro kwa afufu anya isi.
Get help if you can.
5. Buy things in bulk.
The reason I live like a wealthy man today is because I buy everything I need down to toothpaste in bulk.
You spend more buying in bits than when you buy in bulk.
That’s one of the reasons I created my sharing platform to enable family men and women with common goals.
There is nothing we don’t share. Some of you reading this are in that group.
6. Pay your children’s school fees before school resumes.
As I’m talking to you now, I’ve already sent SGM the kids’ school fees that’ll be paid in September.
I don’t have to worry about it again.
It helps me plan myself.
Do everything possible to pay school fees before resumption. You won’t know what you’re doing until money goes on leave from your side.
7. Strive to have passive income.
Something that can generate at least ₦3-5k every day.
No matter what try and get something like that.
It will save you from a lot of stress.
8. See the friends and circle your kids will have tomorrow everything depends on the school they attend.
This one is very, very important.
Even if you don’t have money, find a way to send your children to one of the best schools.
You won’t realise what you’re doing until they come of age.
9.I learnt this one from my dad always have family meetings.
You, your wife, and your kids no matter how small they are.
Discuss problems, solutions, and way forward.
Allow the kids air their opinions.
Ask the kids:
Is there something mummy and daddy are doing that they don’t like?
Same thing with your wife.
Talk about what you both can do to have a stable and loving family.
This helps in uniting the family.
Every month is fine or even every 6 months.
Just make it a habit and a culture.
It’ll become a memory that sticks for the kids, and for you and madam too.
Everyone’s opinion in the family matters.
And as the man, it’s your job to hear everybody’s opinion and choose the best way to run the family.
This isn’t just for the man alone madam can initiate it too. There’s no perfect formula, yes. But this one I listed? It works every time.
I repeat if you try it, you’ll save yourself a lot of unnecessary headache and stress.
You can add yours... enjoy your weekend. What no one told me about marriage before I enter that I want to tell you. This is for those planning to marry or those who just got married.
*Pls, I want a very sincere answer to this puzzle: WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE?*
*A woman abandoned her husband & her four (4) year old son for her rich boyfriend & they both (woman & boy friend) eventually travelled to the U.S.A.*
*Out of frustration & desperation the husband went & married another woman.*
*Unfortunately the 2nd woman couldn't bear a child for the husband.*
*Despite her inability to bear a child, the 2nd woman took great care of the boy & treated him like her own son.*
*Few years later, the husband died in a car accident.*
*The 2nd wife did everything in her power to educate the boy, she engaged in petty trade such as pepper, Maggie, salt, palm oil, onion, tomatoes, etc. in the market square in order to sponsor the boy's schooling.*
*The boy only knew his step mother as his real mother & there4, he called her Mama.*
*The real mother in the U.S.A did not for once find out about the wellbeing of her son thoughtless of sending a penny for the boy, even after she heard that her x-husband (son's father) died in an accident.*
*Some years later, this boy grew up into a very intelligent young man waiting for his B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University.*
*The real mother who also could not bear another child in the U.S since she eloped with her boyfriend, realized that she had made a terrible mistake by abandoning her own son.*
*She decided to return home to look for her son & present to him all her wealth acquired over the years in the States.*
*She eventually found her son battling between life & death in the hospital due to kidney failure.*
*The Doctors demanded huge amount of money for the operation & the step mother couldn't afford it.*
*The real mother stepped in & paid all the hospital bills & donated one of her own kidneys & the son was saved.*
*Shortly after, the final results were out the son got a distinction & also got a five year (5) scholarship to pursue his Masters and PhD degrees in the U.K.*
*At the presentation of the certificate, the Vice Chancellor gave the mic to the son to call his mother to come up stage & receive the certificate.*
*The moment the Vice Chancellor made the statement, the real mother got up & arranged herself waiting to be called upon whilst the step mother sat down & looked at the boy with tears running her chick.*
*The answer is suspended..........*
*Assuming you are the son, who would you call on up stage?*
A) *Real Mother*
B) *Step Mother*
*Remember only one person you should call. A Guarantor is not a Surety and definitely not a Referee
Let’s get this straight.
A lot of people confuse these terms.
Some even think they all mean the same thing.
They don’t.
When you stand as a Guarantor, you are giving the lender a promise that you will pay if the borrower fails to pay after all steps have been taken to recover the debt from the borrower first.
The borrower must first default.
The lender must first exhaust all means to get the borrower to pay.
Only then can they come for you as the guarantor.
But when you stand as a Surety, it’s more serious.
A surety is like saying, “If this person doesn’t pay on the due date, come straight to me. No need to chase them first.”
In other words, as a surety, you’re equally and immediately liable once there’s default.
Now, let’s talk about Referees.
Some people think being a guarantor is the same thing as being a referee.
It’s not.
A referee is simply someone who confirms that the person applying for a job, loan, or apartment is known to them and has good character.
That’s all.
A referee is not taking on any financial responsibility. A referee is not liable to pay any debt. They are just vouching for the person’s behaviour, not their ability to repay loans.
So next time you’re asked to be a guarantor, surety, or referee understand exactly what you’re signing up for.
One carries serious financial risk.
One comes with immediate liability.
The other? Just character reference.
Be wise. Read before you sign. Don’t let friendship or emotions drag you into debt.A Guarantor is not a Surety and definitely not a Referee Let’s get this straight. WHY THERE ARE NO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN CHINA
No Chinese citizen awakens one morning contemplating: “I shall vote for my president.”
WHY?
Because the Chinese president is not elected by the populace. He is chosen by members of the CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY.
But wait — this is not a political party in the conventional sense. It is not a local political club that anyone can join.
NO.
The Chinese Communist Party is an ELITE.
You cannot simply join because you desire it.
You gain entry only if you are SELECTED.
And who is selected?
ELITES.
TRAINED individuals.
EDUCATED individuals.
POWERFUL individuals.
People who have already demonstrated their capacity to think STRATEGICALLY, ECONOMICALLY, and POLITICALLY.
Why this model?
Why not allow the people to choose, as in other nations?
Because China’s system is founded on a HARSH yet REALISTIC observation:
Someone who is impoverished, who is uncertain if they will have food to eat tonight, who does not know if they will survive the night… cannot possibly possess the clarity of mind required to select a country’s president.
Yes, it is difficult to accept.
But it is the TRUTH.
Someone who cannot comprehend their own life… cannot grasp the complexities of a nation.
Do you genuinely believe that a person struggling with poverty, who knows nothing of geopolitics, economics, international relations, industrial strategies, or national defence… can wisely choose who should govern a power like CHINA?
I do not think so.
You may express emotional cries of “democracy, democracy,” but China is PRAGMATIC.
It prefers to entrust the governance of its people to TRAINED MINDS, to individuals who have been SELECTED, SCRUTINISED, and TRAINED for this task.
Because if you cannot govern your own life, how can you select a leader for 1.4 billion people?
That is why, in China, it is not the people who vote.
It is the Chinese Communist Party that makes the choice.
And even to become a member of that Party, one must possess a certain LEVEL, a TRACK RECORD, and ACHIEVEMENTS.
Power is not acquired through emotional ballots —
it is attained through COMPETENCE, RIGOUR, DISCIPLINE, and EVIDENCE.
In China, they do not gamble with the future of the nation.
They do not rely on the uninformed majority.
They assign responsibility to those who have proven their ability to shoulder the weight of reality.
Something to ponder.
⸻
HERE ARE 4 POWERFUL STRATEGIC LESSONS FROM THE CHINESE GOVERNANCE MODEL
⸻
1️⃣. COMPETENCE OUTWEIGHS POPULAR OPINION
LESSON: A nation or company flourishes when it is led by the most competent — not the loudest.
China does not leave its fate to chance or popular sentiment.
It selects leaders based on merit, experience, performance, and discipline.
RESULT: In 40 years, it has evolved from a developing country to the second largest economy in the world — and soon possibly the first.
While other countries elect leaders based on promises and slogans, China places STRATEGISTS at the helm of its future.
⸻
2️⃣. ELITES ARE NOT A THREAT WHEN WELL MANAGED — THEY ARE A NECESSITY
LESSON: If you desire elite results, you must have elites in charge.
In China, membership in the Communist Party represents the pinnacle of meritocracy.
You do not attain this through populism. You reach it through intelligence, rigour, loyalty, and results.
These individuals make significant decisions for the country.
This strategy has enabled China to lift over 800 million people out of poverty in 30 years, create giants like Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent, and position itself as a global leader in technology, infrastructure, and AI.
⸻
3️⃣. STABILITY IS PREFERABLE TO DEMOCRATIC CHAOS
LESSON: Long-term development requires avoiding impulsive shifts in direction.
China does not change course every five years.
It plans for 30, 50, even 100 years ahead.
Mega-projects like the Belt and Road Initiative, the development of megacities, or technological supremacy are planned across generations.
Why? Because power is stable, centralised, and thoughtful.
In contrast, other nations waste time creating and rescinding public policies after each election — resulting in instability, waste, and stagnation.
⸻
4️⃣. GUIDED COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN THE ILLUSION OF FREEDOM
LESSON: A population directed by a clear vision progresses more swiftly than one engulfed in disorder.
China has made a bold decision: to train its elites and entrust them with the responsibility of guiding the masses.
RESULT:
Swift decisions, infrastructure constructed in weeks, a flourishing digital economy, and increasing global influence.
Meanwhile, countries where “everyone expresses their opinion” struggle to build a simple bridge or enact a strategic law.

My father never believed I could amount to anything. Not because I was lazy or stubborn. But because I wasn’t Clement.
Clement; my elder brother was the first son, the pride of the family. He had the brain of ten boys. The kind of child that neighbors used as an example when scolding theirs.
When he passed WAEC with flying colors, we celebrated like it was a wedding.
Papa sold one of his plots of land to send Clement to a private university. He even borrowed money from our church.
I was in SS2 then. I told Papa I wanted to learn tailoring after school.
He waved me off. “Tailor? That’s not a future. Face your books or forget it.”
I faced my books, but not much changed. I was average. Not brilliant, I was just… there.
When Clement came home on holidays, Papa would kill two chickens. Something he never did for any of us.
One day I overheard Papa telling a visitor,
“Clement will become a big man. That other one? Let’s just say he’s still looking for himself.”
That “other one” was me.
Then Clement graduated.
The night we threw a party for him, Papa cried tears of Joy while holding a bottle of malt. He said,
“My joy is full today! My investment is about to yield!”
We all believed it too.
Until things started changing.
Clement stayed longer in his room. He stopped going out. We found him one night behind the house… sniffing something from a nylon bag, eyes red like fire.
That was the day Papa collapsed.
Turns out, Clement had been taking dru*gs since his third year in school. He never told anyone. The pressure to bring the whole family out of poverty was k!11!ng him inside.
Soon, things began to go missing around the house. Papa’s wristwatch. Mama’s gold earring. Even the ceiling fan from the parlour. Obviously, Clement needed money for his Dr*ugs
The golden boy was falling and fast.
He went in and out of rehab for two years. And when he wasn’t there, he was stealing, or lying.
But me?
I had quietly found my path.
When I left secondary school, I begged Mama to talk to Uncle Rasheed, the tailor on our street. I started learning the trade.
While Clement was still battling himself, I got my first shop.
Then I bought my first industrial machine.
Mama would sometimes cry while helping me iron customers’ clothes. “God sees everything, Tope,” she’d whisper. “Keep going.”
Then came the turning point.
Papa had a stroke.
There was no one to run to.
Clement was in rehab again.
Ebun, our last born, was still in school.
So I stepped in.
I paid for the hospital bills. Paid for his drugs. Paid for the physiotherapist that came every evening.
It was my tailoring business that carried the weight Papa thought only Clement could bear.
One afternoon, I returned home in a car I recently bought.
Not to show off, I was just delivering clothes.
Papa was on the veranda, thin and tired. He looked at me for a long time, then said,
“Tope… I was wrong.”
That was all. No long speech. Just three words I’d waited years to hear.
And that night, for the first time ever, he prayed for me.
"Not every star shines the loudest."
"Some glow quietly, in dark corners—waiting to be noticed." "My father chose Clement, but life chose me." "And in the end, it wasn’t brilliance that saved my family… it was consistency."
Don’t write off any child. Not every seed grows at the same time, but each one deserves water, light, and love.

He looked at me for a long time, then said, “Tope… I was wrong.” That was all. No long speech. Just three words I’d waited years to hear. And that night, for the first time ever, he prayed for me. "Not every star shines the loudest." "Some glow quietly, in dark corners—waiting to be noticed." "My father chose Clement, but life chose me." "And in the end, it wasn’t brilliance that saved my family… it was consistency." Don’t write off any child. Not every seed grows at the same time, but each one deserves water, light, and love.

Do not carry secondary school mentality into university, it won’t help you, it will disgrace you.
Secondary school and university are two different worlds. In secondary school, you're spoon-fed. You're reminded to do your assignments.
You’re threatened with punishment just to study. You have teachers monitoring your every move. But once you enter university, especially a Nigerian university, it becomes survival of the fittest. Nobody will chase you. If you don’t adjust fast, you’ll be lost before you even realise it.
Here are 10 habits you must drop before entering university if you truly want to survive and succeed:
1. Waiting for someone to remind you to read: In secondary school, your teachers push you. But in university, no one will beg you to pick up your books. In fact, some lecturers won’t even take attendance. If you don’t take responsibility, you’ll wake up one day and see an “E” staring at you after exams.
2. Studying only during exam period: That cramming style you used to pass WAEC and NECO will betray you in uni. If you don’t build the habit of consistent reading early, you’ll break down mentally when tests start flying unannounced.
3. Underestimating the importance of planning: In secondary school, your day is structured. In university, you create your own timetable. If you don't learn how to plan your time, you’ll find yourself skipping lectures, missing deadlines, and rushing through everything last minute.
4. Depending on others to survive academically: In secondary school, you can whisper during exams or ‘combine brain’ during group assignments. In university, it’s every man for himself. Even your “bestie” will leave you stranded when it’s time to hustle for grades.
5. Avoiding responsibility: You can't keep living like a child. In university, maturity is key. From handling stress, to managing money, to resolving roommate wahala, you'll need to take responsibility without running to mummy or daddy for every small thing.
6. Believing you must be told what to do: Nobody will tell you when to start looking for scholarships, apply for internships, or join productive clubs. If you’re waiting to be told, you'll miss out on opportunities that could shape your future.
7. Copying your classmates blindly: In secondary school, if one person picks science, the whole class follows. In university, copying someone’s course choice or life path is a recipe for disaster. Know yourself and stay true to your journey.
8. Sleeping on personal development: Back then, you might think “book” is everything. In university, “book” is just part of the equation. Soft skills, digital skills, networking, and exposure are what give students an edge. If you’re only chasing grades, you’re already behind.
9. Wasting free time on nothing: In secondary school, your free time is limited. In uni, you’ll have stretches of free time, and that’s where most people mess up. Netflix, social media, and gist will swallow your time if you don’t set boundaries.
10. Thinking you have to please everyone: You’re not going to university to be liked. You’re going to build your life. Stop trying to impress everyone. Focus on your growth, your goals, and your peace.
University is not secondary school with freedom. It’s life on another level. Drop these habits now before they drop you later.
If you're still in secondary school, read this twice. If you’re already in uni, did I lie?

Here are 10 habits you must drop before entering university if you truly want to survive and succeed: 1. Joshua King✍️ -
SAFETY INCIDENT REPORT
Title: Fatal Gas Explosion Claims Entire Family in Warri, Delta State
Location: Warri, Delta State, Nigeria
Date of Incident: 30th May 2025
Date Reported: 14th June 2025
Reported by: Engr. John Perede Akpoyibo.
Incident Summary:
On the 30th of May, 2025, a devastating domestic gas explosion occurred at a family residence in Warri, Delta State, resulting in the eventual loss of an entire family of three. The incident happened as the family was preparing for the birthday of their last daughter, who had also recently secured her visa and was scheduled to travel abroad.
While using a standard LPG gas cylinder for cooking, an additional mini gas cylinder was introduced into the same kitchen to support the cooking process. During the installation of a burner onto the smaller cylinder, the father accidentally triggered a sharp gas leak. The active flame from the larger gas cooker in close proximity ignited the escaping gas, leading to a sudden explosion.
The mother, who was exiting the bathroom at the moment, was also caught in the blast.
Casualties:
Father: Sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after the incident.
Mother: Sustained severe burns, was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), and later passed on during treatment.
Last Daughter: Suffered critical first-degree burns and was admitted to intensive care at UBTH, where she sadly died on 14th June 2025.
All three family members later passed on as a result of injuries sustained in the explosion.
Root Cause Analysis:
Simultaneous use of multiple LPG gas cylinders within an enclosed kitchen space.
A gas leak occurred during the installation of the burner on a mini gas cylinder while another flame was active.
Lack of proper ventilation and absence of gas leak detection equipment.
No immediate access to fire extinguishing or suppression tools.
Lessons Learned / Safety Recommendations:
1. Do not install or operate a gas burner near any active flame. Always turn off existing gas sources before introducing another.
2. Avoid using multiple gas cylinders in confined or enclosed spaces.
3. Only install gas appliances in well-ventilated areas, away from ignition sources.
4. Equip homes with gas leak detectors, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms.
5. Encourage community-wide training on domestic gas safety and emergency response.
6. Conduct regular safety checks on gas cylinders, hoses, valves
This tragic incident, which claimed the lives of a father, mother, and their last daughter, underscores the urgent need for heightened awareness and safety practices in the use of domestic LPG. The simultaneous use and poor handling of gas equipment in confined spaces remains a serious public safety hazard. It is imperative that communities, safety regulators, and households take proactive measures to prevent such avoidable tragedies.

Beloved, as Christians, we should strive to a life that pleases God in all we do. We should recognize that there is no difference between the "ordinary" and the "holy" all can be done for the glory of God. Let us choose to make all our activities sacred by doing them for His glory. Let us live a life worthy of the Lord.
Heavenly father, we are so grateful for the lives you have given us and for creating us in your likeness. We strive to live holy lives and bring you glory in all that we do. May our actions be a reflection of your greatness, O God. We pray in Jesus name... Amen.

Beloved, let's dedicate our lives to serving God. We all have a role to play in his kingdom. Nehemiah worked to rebuild Jerusalem, and Paul reminded us we each have unique gifts and responsibilities. Let's offer ourselves as a living sacrifice and focus on doing our part. (Neh 3 v 5)

Using touts or security men in debt recovery is strictly prohibited in Nigeria. Debt collectors are required to operate within the confines of the law, and any form of harassment, intimidation, or unlawful seizure of property is considered a breach of debtors' rights.
*Prohibited Practices:*
- *Harassment or Threats*: Debt collectors cannot threaten or intimidate debtors, including physical harm, threatening phone calls, or aggressive visits.
- *Public Shaming*: Debt collectors are not allowed to publicly shame debtors by publishing their names or tarnishing their reputation.
- *Unlawful Seizure of Property*: Debt collectors cannot forcibly seize a debtor's assets without following legal procedures
*Permissible Methods:*
- *Issuing Demand Letters*: Debt collectors can send demand letters to debtors, specifying the debt amount, interest, and penalties.
- *Negotiation and Settlement*: Debt collectors can engage in negotiation and mediation to arrive at a settlement plan.
- *Involvement of Legal Practitioners*: Creditors can involve lawyers to initiate court proceedings to enforce debt collection.
*Consequences of Unlawful Practices:*
- *Fines*: Debt collectors can face fines for violating debt collection laws.
- *Civil Litigation*: Debtors can sue debt collectors for damages.
- *Criminal Prosecution*: In extreme cases, debt collectors may face criminal charges and imprisonment.
Debt collectors must adhere to legal obligations, prioritize compliance, and respect debtors' rights to avoid severe penalties.
[07/06, 10:45] +234 806 940 3103: Using the police in civil matters is generally not permissible in Nigeria. According to Section 32(2) of the Police Act, "The Act prohibits the Police from arresting anyone based on a civil wrong or breach of contract." This means the police are not supposed to get involved in disputes that don't involve criminal activity. Police powers are limited to detecting and preventing crimes, apprehending suspects, preserving law and order, protecting lives and properties, and enforcing laws.
Civil disputes, including contract breaches or debt collection, don't fall under their jurisdiction.
*Key Points to Note:*
- *Police Role*: The police are not debt collectors or enforcers of civil contracts. Their primary duty is to handle criminal matters, not civil disputes.
- *Human Rights Protection*: Nigerian law protects individuals from arbitrary arrest and detention, aligning with the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and the African Charter on Human Rights.
- *Consequences of Misuse*: Wrongful arrest and detention can lead to damages and lawsuits for malicious prosecution.
- *Legal Framework*: The Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) and the Police Act outline the guidelines for police actions, emphasizing the need for warrants, bail, and humane treatment of suspects
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has also emphasized that the police have no business with civil matters, reinforcing this principleUsing touts or security men in debt recovery is strictly prohibited in Nigeria. When a Father Walks Away—Everyone Pays the Price
Let’s say it loud:
The greatest crisis a child can face isn’t poverty.
It’s not bullying.
It’s not the cost of college.
It’s a father who left.
Whether he left through cheating, cowardice, or being pushed out—
the result is the same:
A child with no compass.
A future with no blueprint.
A legacy with no foundation.
Let’s talk about it.
—
1. Fathers Who Cheat Don’t Just Betray Their Wives—They Break Their Children
That affair you had?
It didn’t just destroy trust.
It disrupted an entire bloodline.
Because the day you became a father, you weren’t just a lover.
You became a leader.
And when the leader abandons the structure?
The whole kingdom collapses.
—
2. Women Who Weaponize the Law Are No Better
Let’s not pretend:
The law is on your side.
The courts favor you.
The world will call you brave—even if you’re petty.
But just because you can destroy a man legally doesn’t mean you should.
Pushing a father out because your emotions changed isn’t power.
It’s generational sabotage.
Children don’t care about your ego.
They care about consistency.
—
3. Science Confirms It—Kids Do Better With Fathers Present
You can’t rewrite this.
Studies show: – Boys raised without fathers are more likely to be violent.
– Girls raised without fathers are more likely to be exploited.
– And all children suffer emotionally when dad becomes a ghost.
Single motherhood may be normalized.
But it’s not ideal.
And if you’re offended?
Check the prison stats.
Check the dropout stats.
Check the depression stats.
Father absence is not just a wound.
It’s a curse.
—
4. Men: Stop Starting Families You’re Not Ready to Lead
You want to be a father?
Then stop acting like a frat boy with responsibilities.
– You don’t get to cheat because “she let herself go.”
– You don’t get to start over and pretend your first family doesn’t exist.
– You don’t get to “heal” by disappearing from your children’s lives.
Leadership isn’t convenience.
It’s covenant.
And a man who can’t keep his vows shouldn’t expect loyalty from his children later in life.
—
5. Women: Stop Removing the Father Just Because the Marriage Died
You fell out of love?
Cool.
But that doesn’t cancel his role.
You moved on?
Great.
But that doesn’t mean he disappears.
When you turn your child against their father, you’re not protecting them.
You’re punishing them.
And they’ll resent you for it when they grow up.
—
6. Children Aren’t Resilient—They’re Just Quiet
Don’t be fooled.
That smile is covering confusion.
That silence is hiding trauma.
That “I’m fine” is rehearsed.
They notice: – When your new partner gets more attention.
– When they stop being invited to things.
– When love starts feeling like a competition.
They’re not “adapting.”
They’re breaking quietly.
—
7. Masculinity Must Be Modeled—Not Just Taught
Boys don’t become men through lectures.
They become men by watching one.
And if you’re not around?
They’ll find masculinity in the streets, the screen, or the chaos.
And none of those places build men you’d be proud of.
—
Final Word: You Don’t Stop Being a Father Because You Failed as a Husband
Men:
You may have lost the marriage.
But don’t lose your mission.
Women:
You may be hurt.
But don’t hijack your child’s future to soothe your ego.
Because when a father walks away—
Or is pushed out—
Everyone pays.
The kids.
The legacy.
The soul of the next generation.
So whether you're the man who strayed,
Or the woman who shut the door…
Fix it.
Because children don’t care who was right.
They just want both parents to stay in the fight.

– You don’t get to “heal” by disappearing from your children’s lives.
