A group of seven Texas lawmakers, primarily Democratic legislators, have indeed urged Tesla to delay its robotaxi launch in Austin until September 1, 2025. The lawmakers sent a letter to Elon Musk's Tesla, citing concerns about public safety and the need for compliance with new state regulations governing autonomous vehicles.
