Heavenly Father, in the quietude of this moment, I draw near to You, acknowledging my tendency to be swept away by life's relentless currents. I confess how I often forsake the joy of Your presence for the fleeting satisfaction of worldly tasks. Teach me, O Lord, to still my heart and mind, that I may discern the clutter that distracts from Your serene voice. Grant me the wisdom to prioritize You, the One needful thing, that I may abide in Your peace and be suffused with heartfelt gratitude. I seek this in the blessed sanctuary of Your love, through Jesus Christ, my Rock and Redeemer. “Ask, and ye shall receive.” Jn 16:24
You have enough
Have you been praying, and God hasn’t yet answered? Let’s look at some keys. (1) Maybe you’re expecting a lot from God but not much from yourself. Perhaps He is asking you to work harder by utilizing the ingenuity He has given you. Remember, God’s promises are never an excuse for laziness. Elijah was in a devastating drought when God said, “Go to the brook Cherith. I will send ravens to feed you” (See 1Ki 17:1-4). Elijah could have replied, “Lord, I’m exhausted! Can’t you send them here?” Instead, “he…did according to the word of the Lord” (v. 5 NKJV). Ask God if there is something you should be doing, and when He tells you—do it. (2) Perhaps your prayers are not explicit enough. Doesn’t God already know what we need? Yes, but He wants to hear it from you. “You don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it” (Jas 4:2 NLT). God wants us to persist in prayer: “Ask and keep on asking…seek and keep on seeking…knock and keep on knocking” (Lk 11:9 AMPC). (3) We fail to realize that God wants to meet our needs—in His time. “But what if my problem gets worse?” you ask. Don’t worry; it will never be too big for God to resolve! From time to time, He waits in order to do something even greater. Lazarus was sick unto death, but Jesus didn’t respond immediately. He waited so He could raise him from the dead (See Jn 11:1-6, 43-44). We’re inclined to think our request is God’s best answer to our need, even though His Word assures us, “No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Ps 84:11).

WHAT IS THE WAY TO IMPROVE LIFE?
1).Don’t compare yourself. Everyone has got their own story to tell and so do you.
2).Reading writing, and staying happy with yourself.
3).Establishing boundaries when you need to.
4).Staying positive about what life has got to offer you.
5).Trying out new things every month or so.
6).Keeping up with your health.
7).Not falling victim to bitterness, hate or other negative emotions.
8).Finding peace.
Learning to “just keep swimming” no matter the weather.
9).Accepting people for who and what they are. Accepting yourself.
10).Learning something new every day even if its teeny tiny.
11).“Be a friend to get a friend”
12).Keeping your home clean.
13).Whether your surround yourself with many people or none is up to you.
14).Do what makes you feel good about your life.
15).Don’t follow protocol but do stay disciplined.
16).Last but not least, stand up for yourself. Don’t let people’s opinions rule over your life.
