During a recent press conference, he clarified that his departure was a personal choice rather than a forced exit. He emphasized his desire to protect the podcast's integrity in light of rising personal criticisms. “Let me straighten something out—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch, I was never fired. I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on. I was not fired,” he stated. Nedu stood up for the podcast's impartiality, noting that the views expressed are solely those of the guests. “Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not of the show itself. Everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to report,” he added.
