  • APC GOVERNORS URGE FG TO EXPAND INVESTMENTS IN KEY ECONOMIC SECTORS

    — Reaffirm support for President Tinubu

    - Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the aegis of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), have called on the Federal Government to intensify ongoing economic recovery efforts by expanding investments in key sectors of the economy.

    - This call was made on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the conclusion of the Forum’s first regional meeting held in Benin City, Edo State. The meeting also featured the formal welcome of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, to the Forum.

    - The governors emphasized the need to further democratize the gains of current economic growth through strategic investments in food security, job creation, poverty alleviation, MSME development, and social safety nets.

    - Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, who read the communiqué on behalf of his colleagues, welcomed the increase in fiscal transfers to states and the growing investor confidence in Nigeria’s economic outlook. He pledged that the Forum would sustain this momentum by delivering infrastructure that enhances productivity and drives inter-state competitiveness.

    - The Forum also commended Nigeria’s security agencies for their continued efforts in tackling criminality and safeguarding national sovereignty. It extended condolences to families affected by insecurity, especially in Benue and Niger States.

    - Reaffirming its support for President Tinubu’s national security agenda, particularly the recent intervention in Benue State, the PGF also endorsed enhanced inter-agency coordination, community policing, and grassroots intelligence systems. It further called for increased investment in surveillance infrastructure and improved welfare for frontline security personnel.

    - The governors affirmed that the APC remains the most institutionally coherent political platform in the country, with a proven track record of reforms, electoral victories, and national unity.

    - The Forum also acknowledged the recent resignation of the APC National Chairman, H.E. Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, describing it as part of the party’s ongoing evolution and internal democratic maturity.

    - Reiterating their commitment to a united, just, and prosperous Nigeria, the PGF pledged to continue working collaboratively to implement bold reforms, strengthen institutional trust, and accelerate socio-economic development across all geopolitical zones.

    - The governors resolved to remain faithful stewards of the party’s values, leveraging innovation and sub-national collaboration to transform Nigeria from the bottom up.

    - They called on Nigerians at home and abroad to unite behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC as the country charts a path toward a more secure, inclusive, and forward-looking future.

    - The two-day meeting concluded with a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, who urged the governors to serve as instruments of development and champions of national growth. It also featured a town hall meeting attended by key APC stakeholders from across the country.

  • *BREAKING OF CURSES 3.*

    *SCRIPTURE READING Gen 4:4-10.*

*KEY VERSE:* As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
    Prov 26:2.

Brethren, there are reasons for curses.
The Bible clearly states that curse causeless shall not come, which means there must be a reason for a curse to be placed on individuals, families, communities and Nations.
Behind every curse there is a cause.
To every affliction in a man's life, there is a root; and when the root is discovered and rooted out, then comes refreshment.

He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
    Ecl 8:10.
For a curse to be in operation, it is either, you break the hedge or your parents break the hedge for the curse to show up in your life.

A curse is little different from a spell, a spell is cast from the region of the occult, from witchcraft, from satanic altar, you don't need to offend anybody, as long they don't want you to be blessed, they will just cast a spell to punish you or to frustrate your destiny.
But for every curse there must be a cause.

    *FOR EXAMPLES*

    1. Adam suffer a curse because he disobey God by eating the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden. Gen 3:17

Israel had sworn in the name of the Lord to keep them alive but Saul break the oath of the Lord by killing them and it's resulted to a curse on the entire Nation of Israel, year to year famine was prevailing, David have to go and appeal to the Gibeonites for the curse to be removed 2 Samuel 21:1-3.

    *WHAT TO DO.*

    1. Since there is no smoke without fire, if you want the smoke to stop, look for the fire and put it off. The same with a curse, you need to find the cause. Who did you offend? Who did your parents offend?

    2. When you find the the reason why you or your family members are under a curse (who you offended) then go and apologise, ask for forgiveness, make restitution where necessary.

  • SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE

    BY DR PST PAUL ENENCHE

    DATE: WEDNESDAY 25TH JUNE 2025

    TOPIC: THE SECRET OF WISDOM.

SCRIPTURE: And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. JOB 28:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Iniquity fuels stupidity, but integrity sharpens mentality.

It has been confirmed that wisdom is behind the making of kingdom stars. Proverbs 8:15,16 says, By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth. Nothing puts people in charge like wisdom.

Having seen the critical necessity of wisdom, it is important to explore the secrets of wisdom. Today, we shall be looking at one secret of wisdom which is The fear of the Lord (Job 28:28, Psalm 111:10, Proverbs 9:10 and Proverbs 15:33).

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Anyone who fears God cannot escape wisdom, and the one who does not fear God has no option but to be buried in stupidity.

The truth is, iniquity fuels stupidity, but integrity sharpens mentality. For example, Solomon came to a point where he lost all integrity, so he lost his mentality until he married seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines.

Now, what is the fear of the Lord?

    1. The fear of the Lord is the hatred of evil. Those who fear God hate evil. They are not comfortable with bribery, corruption, cheating, duping, immorality, lying, stealing, etc. They have a conscience that is alive and awake.

    2. The fear of the Lord is the keeping of His commandments. (Ecclesiastes 12:13). When we follow His instruction, we flow in His inspiration.

    3. The fear of the Lord is existence in the consciousness of His Presence (Psalm 14:5). The Presence of the Lord imparts fear, and the fear of the Lord imparts the consciousness of God’s Presence. God is not physically there but you operate as though He is physically there.

Beloved, when you connect with the fear of the Lord, you connect with wisdom. And when you connect with wisdom, you connect with stardom, royalty and the Blessing.

Remember this: Iniquity fuels stupidity, but integrity sharpens mentality.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Let the fear of God precede every action you take.

    2. Avoid living in guilt.

    3. Maintain the company of the Holy Ghost.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to love, reverence and fear You. Help me to operate in the realm of wisdom, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: The Blessing of Divine Wisdom

    DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 142-144

QUOTE: Wisdom is a defence. A person without wisdom is vulnerable. Culled from Be Wise and Rise! By Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Electric eels can produce electric shocks of up to 600 volts to stun prey or defend themselves.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Receive the fresh baptism of the fear of the Lord today, in Jesus Name.

ASSIGNMENT(S): 1. FATHER I REFUSE SHAME/DISGRACE

    Text : Jeremiah 3:24 KJV

For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.”

    MESSAGE
One prayer I usually pray for myself is God don't allow me to see shame or disgrace.

Disgrace is made up of two words: ‘dis’ and ‘gracia’. ‘Dis’ means out of and ‘gracia’ means grace. So, the word disgrace means out of grace. Or rightly put in our modern English, it means loss of honor, loss of respect, loss of good name.

It can also mean to bring shame upon a person. The word shame in the Bible has so many aspects to it. Shame can come as an offence or as a consequence of sin to someone who has done something wrong and has been discovered.

Shame can come as a result of pride or when the reputation of a person has been injured. So, the result of being disgraced is shame. Shame also can come from God. In order to reprove sin, God can allow shame to come upon a person.

Say Lord, please don't allow me and my family to see shame in the name of Jesus.

    SOURCES OF SHAME

The Bible makes us to understand that shame can come from God, it can come from satan, and can also come from man.

I Know a pastor who saw shame when a member gave the church he was privileged to be pastoring at that time one million naira for church project, but he diverted the said money for his personal use by acquiring a fairly used camry car.

But, just after a year he bought the car, the whole truth surfaced and he was sacked unceremoniously. I will like you to say again, “I reject every spirit of shame/ disgrace the enemies have assigned against me in the name of Jesus.”

Seeing yourself half dressed or completely naked regularly in the dream should not be treated with kids gloves.

Jeremiah 3: 24 says, “For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.” So, shame can devour the labour of a person.

There was this popular actress many years ago who was forced to leave the shores of Nigeria when her nude pictures was published in a popular newspaper in Nigeria.

This powerful emotion called shame is a great weapon in the hand of the enemy and he likes to use it on people and places. The terrible thing about it is that it hits people from the inside and destroys them internally. It could eat away the strength of the confidence of a person.

It can disable and amputate a person completely and make him ineffective in the service of the Lord. To be mighty in faith and in the Holy Spirit, you must confront the spirit of shame and defeat it.

There was this popular brother I know that had his wedding cancelled just 2 days before the wedding. He slept with his would be bride, and the bride got pregnant in the process.

In a bid to cover their shame; they aborted the pregnancy. So they felt everything has been covered. When the church hospital carried out their own pregnancy test, it was positive.

This brother denied of ever having any canal knowledge of the said sister. After, several tests the sister blood samples were still reading positive. Being a lawyer he threatened to sue the church for defamation of character.

But, the whole truth came out eventually sutfaced after much pressure on the sister. She then confessed to my then senior pastor that indeed the brother ate the forbidden fruit and got her pregnant.

They carried out an evacuation to cover up their tracks, but still the sisters blood sample still returned positive.

    KINDS OF SHAME

1 Guilty shame: This happens when a person violates the law of decency and he is embarrassed.

2 Social shame: This kind of shame occurs when a person is embarrassed because he or she made a social blunder.

3 Innocent shame: This happens when a person is accused of an offence he is not guilty of. When somebody’s character is damaged without justifications

4 Public shame: This is embarrassment because of physical or social blunder.

5 Shame of discrimination: When a person feels mentally, socially or ethnically inferior to other persons.

6 Shame of inadequacy: That is when somebody feels inadequate.

7 Shame as a result of the gospel eg persecution.

The shame that comes from God can be handled with God. When we repents the Lord will forgive us and will remove the shame from us

But the shame that the enemy plans must be confronted and dealt with.

HOW TO BE A PERSON OF HONOR

& BE WISE; proverbs 3: 35 says, “The wise shall inherit glory but shame shall be the promotion of fools.” So foolish living and actions that are not. There are certain information that shouldn't be on your phone

& BE DILIGENT: Proverbs 10: 5 says, “He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in a harvest is a son that causeth shame.”

Sleeping during the time of physical or spiritual harvest will bring disgrace. When others are struggling, and you just sit down and take no action, it means you are inviting disgrace upon your life.

& BE HUMBLE: Proverbs 11: 2 says, “When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lonely is wisdom.”

The Bible says that pride brings shame. Proverbs 16: 18 says, “Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

& TRAIN UP YOUR CHILDREN: Proverbs 29: 15 says, “The rod and reproof give wisdom but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.” So, parents who allow their children to do what they like are preparing for shame.

When raising your children learn to call a spade a spade and not a farm tool.

A child you pamper today will tamper with your tomorrow.

&KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS:. Genesis 3: 9 – 10: “And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said I heard thy voice in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself.”

Shame and nakedness could come from sin. Avoid actions that would amputate your good name and rubbish your character.

May shame and disgrace be far from us in Jesus name.

    *DEFEATING HOUSEHOLD WICKEDNESS*

*Job 14:1* makes it very clear to us that this world is a world full of trouble. The second name for this world is trouble.
Some start their battles from the womb. Some start as young men and women. Some start at middle age. Some start at old age. The majority of these battles are being fuelled by enemies within.
Job 14:1 (KJV) says, ‘Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.”

The book of John gives the world another name. It says, “The whole world lieth in wickedness.”

That is, there is a big bed on which the whole world is lying, which is *wickedness.*
Wickedness is when you have done nobody harm, offended nobody, yet they are doing you harm. So this Job 14:1 tells us that this is a world of battles.

In the school of warfare, there are sixty categories of battles that men fight. You may be fighting your battles now; you may have started already, but it is good for you that is here to know that the devils that fought your parents will fight you. You may say, “But I am okay now.” No, they are just waiting for you to grow up so that you can be mature enough for them to fight you. So, everybody has a battle to fight.

    *There is:*

    • a battle called the rage of the wicked. They are raging against you; you do not need to commit any offence.

    • the battle of the crying blood. You shed blood, probably through abortions, and the blood is now crying against you.

    • the pursuing avenger, where you have done something wrong and the enemy is now pursuing you to avenge it.

    • the wicked household.
    • the battle called ‘the affliction of the righteous’, from which the Lord said that He will deliver you out of them all. Not the affliction of the sinner.

    • the battle for destiny. Sometimes, when the destiny of somebody is announced in heaven, the enemy hears it and fights the person because of the destiny.
    • the battle for fulfilment.
    • the battle for relevance.
    • The battle for wholeness (your health). A lot of people are battling this daily.
    • The battle for your staff of bread. The enemy may be attacking your career.
    • the battle for promotion. The enemy does not want you to be elevated. He wants to keep you where you are. Let your amen be sevenfold volcanic.

    There is the battle:
    • to enlarge your coast. For you to expand or enlarge what you are doing is a battle. You started your business from a kiosk or small shop. To now expand it to a bigger shop is a battle.
    • against marriage. There is a great battle going on against marriages now, and I want you to understand this very well.
A man of God was flying to South Africa. There was a man beside him in the plane who was mumbling words, and it was as if he was praying. For a long time, he kept mumbling those words like a prayer. So the man of God was happy that a prayer warrior was beside him. When he stopped, the man of God said, “Oh, that is nice! I can see that you were praying here.” The man replied, “Yes”. Then the man of God asked, “What were you praying about?” He then replied that he was actually not praying; he was cursing marriages, especially Christian marriages. There is an attack on marriages.
    • that is programmed. It waits for you to get to a level before pulling you down.
    • of the yoke with unbelievers. When you want to bless whom God has cursed, you will have problems.
    • of conspiracy in the heavenlies.
    • of envious enemies. You have not done anything wrong; it is just out of pure envy.
    • of vandalised destiny.
    • called “Jonah syndrome”, which applies to many here. That is, God is giving you an assignment, but you are dodging it. That kind of battle – no deliverance or man of God can help you; you need to repent and do what God wants you to do.
    • against the wasters. They wait for people to gather things and then waste them.
    • against the emptiers. They wait for a person’s cup to be full and then empty it.
    • against anti-prosperity powers. That is, the person can be alive and can be strong but cannot prosper.
    • known as ‘the marine warfare’. As a matter of fact, many people’s benefits are inside the bank in the waters. And this is a very, very serious situation.

    There is the:
    • battle against children.
    • mystery of strongholds.
    • battle of closed doors.
    • near-success syndrome battle.
    • battle called “the embargo”.
    • battle of environmental attacks.
    • battle with the spirit of death and hell. If you come from a family where people are dying very young, this is the problem.
    • battle of Star Hunters.
    • battle of collective captivity.
    • battle of dream criminals.
    • the mystery of seduction.
    • the battle of stagnancy.
    • the battle of loneliness.
    • the battle of territorial bondage.
    • the battle of spiritual load upon the head.
    • the battle of placental bondage.
    • the battle from the palace, for those from royal families.
    • character battle.
    • ‘fighting the devil that fought your parents’ battle.
    • the battle of covenants and curses. Curses have strong power, and this is a very serious matter.
    • battle against the strongman.
    • battle against attacks from the womb.
    • battle of sexual pollution.
    • altar attack, if you worship idols in your family.
    • battle against polygamous witchcraft.
But then, it is only a counter battle that can deliver from all these.

    *PRAYER POINTS:*

    1. I plug my life into the resurrection power of the blood of Jesus.

    2. Evil bank requesting for my blood; catch fire in the name of Jesus.
    3. Every internal chain in my body, breaks, in the name of Jesus.
    4. Every instrument of poison in my body, get out, in the name of Jesus.
    5. (Pray these three hot times) O God, you are my God: arise, show it, in the name of Jesus.

  • Law of power! 1-48

    1. Never outshine the master

Always make those above you feel superior. If you make them feel insecure, you risk being replaced or punished.

    2. Never put too much trust in friends; learn how to use enemies

Friends can betray you out of emotion or envy. Enemies, properly managed, can be more loyal and useful.

    3. Conceal your intentions

Don’t tell people your true plans—this keeps them from interfering and gives you an edge.

    4. Always say less than necessary

The more you speak, the more likely you are to say something foolish. Silence creates mystery and authority.

    5. Guard your reputation with your life

Reputation is a cornerstone of power. Once damaged, it’s hard to rebuild—protect it constantly.

    6. Court attention at all costs

Visibility is power. Stand out, be memorable, and use dramatic gestures if needed.

    7. Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit

Leverage others’ talents and efforts while making it seem like you were the mastermind.

    8. Make other people come to you—use bait if necessary

Don’t chase people or power. Draw them in and make them play by your rules.

    9. Win through actions, never through argument

People may be convinced by your words but are more likely to resent you. Prove your point through results.

    10. Infection: avoid the unhappy and unlucky

Misery spreads. Don’t associate too closely with those who constantly struggle or fail.

    11. Learn to keep people dependent on you

Create relationships where others need you to thrive or succeed. This gives you control.

    12. Use selective honesty and generosity to disarm your victim

Small, genuine gestures can build trust, which you can later exploit.

    13. When asking for help, appeal to people’s self-interest, never to their mercy

Frame your requests in terms of what benefits them, not you.

    14. Pose as a friend, work as a spy

Build rapport and gather useful information that can be used strategically.

    15. Crush your enemy totally

Leave no chance for retaliation. A half-defeated enemy will eventually strike back.

    16. Use absence to increase respect and honor

Too much presence can diminish value. Sometimes disappearing raises your worth.

    17. Keep others in suspended terror: cultivate an air of unpredictability

Surprise keeps others on edge and off-balance. They can't plan against you if you're unpredictable.

    18. Do not build fortresses to protect yourself—Isolation is dangerous

Being cut off makes you vulnerable. Stay connected to information and people.

    19. Know who you’re dealing with—do not offend the wrong person

Different people react differently to offense. Choose your targets and methods carefully.

    20. Do not commit to anyone

Stay independent. Commitment traps you and limits your options.

    21. Play a sucker to catch a sucker—seem dumber than your mark

Underestimate yourself to gain an advantage. People let their guard down when they think they’re smarter.

    22. Use the surrender tactic: transform weakness into power

When overpowered, retreat gracefully. It gives you time to plot a comeback.

    23. Concentrate your forces

Focus your time and energy on one strong point, rather than scattering your efforts.

    24. Play the perfect courtier

Be the ideal subordinate: adaptable, flattering, and discreet.

    25. Re-create yourself

Be the architect of your identity. Don’t let others define you—shape your image and role.

    26. Keep your hands clean

Get others to do the dirty work so your reputation remains untouched.

    27. Play on people’s need to believe to create a cultlike following

People want meaning. Provide a vision, symbols, and rituals—and they’ll follow.

    28. Enter action with boldness

Timidity breeds failure. Take action confidently and decisively.

    29. Plan all the way to the end

Think several steps ahead. Don’t get caught by surprises or unfinished plans.

    30. Make your accomplishments seem effortless

Hide the hard work. Let your results speak for themselves.

    31. Control the options: get others to play with the cards you deal

Frame the choices so no matter what others pick, it benefits you.

    32. Play to people’s fantasies

People crave illusions and dreams. Give them that and they’ll follow you.

    33. Discover each man’s thumbscrew

Find what motivates or weakens people—fears, desires, or secrets—and use it.

    34. Be royal in your own fashion: act like a king to be treated like one

Carry yourself with confidence and self-respect. People treat you as you treat yourself.

    35. Master the art of timing

Know when to act and when to wait. Timing can make or break your plans.

    36. Disdain things you cannot have: ignoring them is the best revenge

If you can’t have it, don’t obsess. Indifference shows power and poise.

    37. Create compelling spectacles

Dramatic visuals and experiences stick in people’s minds and sway emotions.

    38. Think as you like, but behave like others

Conform outwardly while keeping your true thoughts private.

    39. Stir up waters to catch fish

Chaos creates opportunities. Make people emotional and you'll gain control.

    40. Despise the free lunch

What’s free is often worthless or a trap. Value what’s earned.

    41. Avoid stepping into a great man’s shoes

Forge your own path rather than trying to live up to someone else's legacy.

    42. Strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter

Remove the leader and the group loses direction or collapses.

    43. Work on the hearts and minds of others

Persuasion is more powerful than force. Win people emotionally and mentally.

    44. Disarm and infuriate with the mirror effect

Mirror your opponents to confuse or unnerve them. It throws them off balance.

    45. Preach the need for change, but never reform too much at once

People fear sudden change. Introduce it slowly so they can adapt.

    46. Never appear too perfect

Too much perfection breeds envy. Show some faults occasionally.

    47. Do not go past the mark you aimed for; in victory, learn when to stop

Don’t overreach. Knowing when to stop protects your success.

    48. Assume formlessness

Be adaptable and fluid. The rigid are easy to attack; the shapeless survive anything.
Law of power! 1-48✅ 1. Never outshine the master Always make those above you feel superior. If you make them feel insecure, you risk being replaced or punished. 2. Never put too much trust in friends; learn how to use enemies Friends can betray you out of emotion or envy. Enemies, properly managed, can be more loyal and useful. 3. Conceal your intentions Don’t tell people your true plans—this keeps them from interfering and gives you an edge. 4. Always say less than necessary The more you speak, the more likely you are to say something foolish. Silence creates mystery and authority. 5. Guard your reputation with your life Reputation is a cornerstone of power. Once damaged, it’s hard to rebuild—protect it constantly. 6. Court attention at all costs Visibility is power. Stand out, be memorable, and use dramatic gestures if needed. 7. Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit Leverage others’ talents and efforts while making it seem like you were the mastermind. 8. Make other people come to you—use bait if necessary Don’t chase people or power. Draw them in and make them play by your rules. 9. Win through actions, never through argument People may be convinced by your words but are more likely to resent you. Prove your point through results. 10. Infection: avoid the unhappy and unlucky Misery spreads. Don’t associate too closely with those who constantly struggle or fail. 11. Learn to keep people dependent on you Create relationships where others need you to thrive or succeed. This gives you control. 12. Use selective honesty and generosity to disarm your victim Small, genuine gestures can build trust, which you can later exploit. 13. When asking for help, appeal to people’s self-interest, never to their mercy Frame your requests in terms of what benefits them, not you. 14. Pose as a friend, work as a spy Build rapport and gather useful information that can be used strategically. 15. Crush your enemy totally Leave no chance for retaliation. A half-defeated enemy will eventually strike back. 16. Use absence to increase respect and honor Too much presence can diminish value. Sometimes disappearing raises your worth. 17. Keep others in suspended terror: cultivate an air of unpredictability Surprise keeps others on edge and off-balance. They can't plan against you if you're unpredictable. 18. Do not build fortresses to protect yourself—Isolation is dangerous Being cut off makes you vulnerable. Stay connected to information and people. 19. Know who you’re dealing with—do not offend the wrong person Different people react differently to offense. Choose your targets and methods carefully. 20. Do not commit to anyone Stay independent. Commitment traps you and limits your options. 21. Play a sucker to catch a sucker—seem dumber than your mark Underestimate yourself to gain an advantage. People let their guard down when they think they’re smarter. 22. Use the surrender tactic: transform weakness into power When overpowered, retreat gracefully. It gives you time to plot a comeback. 23. Concentrate your forces Focus your time and energy on one strong point, rather than scattering your efforts. 24. Play the perfect courtier Be the ideal subordinate: adaptable, flattering, and discreet. 25. Re-create yourself Be the architect of your identity. Don’t let others define you—shape your image and role. 26. Keep your hands clean Get others to do the dirty work so your reputation remains untouched. 27. Play on people’s need to believe to create a cultlike following People want meaning. Provide a vision, symbols, and rituals—and they’ll follow. 28. Enter action with boldness Timidity breeds failure. Take action confidently and decisively. 29. Plan all the way to the end Think several steps ahead. Don’t get caught by surprises or unfinished plans. 30. Make your accomplishments seem effortless Hide the hard work. Let your results speak for themselves. 31. Control the options: get others to play with the cards you deal Frame the choices so no matter what others pick, it benefits you. 32. Play to people’s fantasies People crave illusions and dreams. “My mother sold pap beside the market gutter.”
“Now I export to five countries — and I named the brand after her.”
They called it “dirty woman’s food.”
Now it’s on shelves in London and New York.

Her Mother Sold Akamu by the Roadside — What Her Daughter Did 20 Years Later Left the Whole Market in Tears
    Written by Rosyworld CRN

    Onitsha, Nigeria — 2003.

Every morning by 5:00 a.m., Mama Uju would tie her wrapper tight, light the firewood, and begin stirring the large pot of pap.

Yellow, thick, creamy — and hot.

She sold it at the corner of Nkpor Market.
    Right beside the open gutter.
No kiosk. No umbrella. Just smoke, sweat, and survival.

Her daughter Uju sat beside her.
    Sometimes sleeping.
    Sometimes helping.
    Always dreaming.

But other market women mocked them.

“See your mummy selling food by gutter!”
“Who will marry you when your clothes always smell like smoke?”

    Uju stayed quiet.
    She watched.
    Learned.
And whispered to her mother one day:

"One day, this pap will travel beyond Nigeria."

Mama Uju laughed. “Pap wey I dey sell for ₦50?”

“Yes, mama,” she replied. “Your sweat has a flavour the world hasn’t tasted yet.”

    Uju studied hard.
    Went to UNN.
    Studied Food Science & Tech.
Wrote her final project on “Preservation and Commercialization of Traditional Fermented Foods.”

    Graduated with distinction.
Got a loan from a youth empowerment fund.
Started small — two bags of corn, a borrowed grinder, and an Instagram page.

Business Name: Mama Uju’s Original Pap.

    It wasn’t just a product.
    It was a legacy.

    People laughed at first.
    Then they tasted it.
    Then they ordered.

By 2021, she was supplying supermarkets in Lagos and Abuja.
By 2023, she exported to the UK through a Nigerian food distributor.

In 2025, she returned to Nkpor Market — where it all began.
She wore a custom-made ankara dress printed with the words: “From Gutter to Global.”

She came with camera crews, a truckload of her packaged pap, and a special announcement.

She stood beside the same corner where her mother once bent over firewood and said:

“This is where royalty once sat on a plastic chair.
This is where I saw dignity in burnt fingers.
This is where I first tasted strength.”

She donated ₦10 million to upgrade the market stalls for other women vendors.
Gave them branded kiosks and cooking equipment.
Named the space: “Mama Uju’s Women’s Corner.”

Then she gave her mother a key to a brand-new bungalow, built on land she bought secretly five years ago.

    Mama Uju fainted.
    Then cried.
    Then danced.

Because the pap she stirred for survival…
Became the pap her daughter used for global success.

And the child once laughed at for smelling of smoke…
Now breathes boardroom air — but still bows before the woman who stirred her future.
