    Genesis 8:4
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

    READ
    Genesis 7:11-12
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*The key to this sacred season is prayers and fasting and submission to God's authority*

    MESSAGE
This new millennium is already twenty-five years old.

Today is the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the twenty-fifth year of this millennium. I hope this strikes a chord in you.

There are no meaningless details in scriptures. The flood that carried Noah and his family began on the seventeenth day of a certain month and also brought the same ark to it's resting place for a new beginning on the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the year. This couldn't have been a coincidence.

Today is the anniversary of DIVINE REST for you and your family in Jesus' name.

We need to pay attention to the voice of this season as it unfolds and unwinds itself before our very eyes.

The ark of Noah found its resting place upon the mountains of Ararat on the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the year. That is significant because that date has come around before us again today.

Therefore, as a prophet, I declare your own season of REST upon the mountains of your significance in destiny in Jesus' name.

In the seventeenth book of the Bible, the divine page opened upon the life of an innocent slave girl in diaspora, and she rose from being a nonentity to notoriety. At the same time, a wicked man rose in the same kingdom. Hamman rose with an evil agenda to destroy the people of covenant. But by divine intervention, Esther, through prayers and fasting in submission to authority, overthrew the Dominion of evil and their sponsors.

Mordecai was brought into power in the place of the wicked Hamman.
Therefore, the seventeenth season is a season of the RISE OF POWERS. But it's the time to overthrow evil Dominion and enthrone the people of covenant to power. It is a time of open reward for every secret Labours in the past.

Every consecration of the past will produce a crown upon the head of the righteous.

It is a season of sudden announcements of overdue promotions. At the same time, it is a season of great temptation for God's people; but through prayers and fasting, God shall raise up a MIGHTY horn of deliverance for us in the land.

Therefore beloved, I suggest you take out time to pray and to fast today in order for you to be sensitive to the voice of the season; and to consequently lay hold on the promises of God for this season.

May the blessings of this season come now upon you and your family in Jesus' name.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide.
    2. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through this season wacthfully.
    3. Be intentional about your personal fellowship with the LORD.

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh, LORD GOD of HOST let the heaven of this season open to me now and let its blessings locate me in Jesus' name. Amen.

    REMEMBER
*The key to this sacred season is prayers and fasting and submission to God's authority.*

    HYMN
    1
    Blessed assurance—Jesus is mine!
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
    Heir of salvation, purchase of God;
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

This is my story, this is my song,
    Praising my Saviour all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Saviour all the day long.

    2
    Perfect submission, perfect delight,
    Visions of rapture burst on my sight;
    Angels descending, bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

    3
Perfect submission, all is at rest,
    I in my Saviour am happy and blest;
    Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

  • HOW TO BE POOR AND HOW TO GET RICH — The Choice is Yours
If after 4 years in a higher institution you’re still roaming the streets looking for a job, you need to hear this: you’ve failed—monumentally.
Let’s stop pampering mediocrity. We’re in a country where truth sounds like hate because too many people are emotionally allergic to accountability.
How do we explain that someone who studied Business Administration is now begging a secondary school dropout for job opportunities?
How do we have graduates of Agriculture going hungry, when food is gold?
Here's the bitter truth: poverty is not always a curse from the devil; often, it’s a system we’ve bought into with our mindset, our ego, and our excuses.
    Let’s break this down:
1️⃣ Pride: The Graduate Mentality Trap
We want soft life. AC offices. Clean suits. Titles. But reality doesn’t pay you for your degree; it pays you for value.
Artisan jobs are dying. In 10 years, Nigeria may have no more plumbers, welders, painters—everyone is chasing office jobs. Yet, the ones creating generational wealth are those with tools in their hands and solutions in their heads.
Being a graduate shouldn’t stop you from picking up a skill. The world is changing, but are you?
    2️⃣ Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome
Everyone wants to hammer, but no one wants to suffer.
There was a lady in my former church who kept disturbing me about venturing into tech because she heard I make good money. What she didn’t see were my 7 years of trials, the 2 years of no clients, the cancelled N2M deals, the sleepless nights, the rejections.
You want what people have, but can you handle what they went through?
Wealth takes time. 5 to 7 years of focused grind—minimum. Stop starting today and expecting harvest tomorrow. That’s not entrepreneurship; that’s fantasy.
    3️⃣ Lack of Mentorship
We spend millions to learn how to drive. But who teaches us how to make money, live purposefully, or build wealth?
When Dr. Stephen Akintayo charges for mentorship, people cry scam. Yet they spend the same amount on phones, parties, and clothes. Poverty thrives where knowledge is undervalued.
Mentorship is not free—it demands money or service. But it shortens your journey by years. Find someone ahead of you and serve your way into wisdom.
    4️⃣ The “Only Me” Mentality
We compete instead of collaborate. We want to outshine, not uplift. But the wealthiest communities—like the Jews—grow as a unit.
Africa needs to understand: teamwork will take you farther than talent.
    5️⃣ Lack of Integrity
Our handshake is not worth a promise. We lie, we cheat, we scam—then pray for breakthrough.
We must return to honesty, accountability, and trust. You can’t build lasting wealth without a name people can vouch for.
    6️⃣ The Mentality Problem
Survival Mentality: Just eating and breathing is not the goal of life.
Receiver’s Mentality: Always collecting, never creating.
Hunter’s Mentality: Eat today, die tomorrow. No long-term vision.
    7️⃣ The Bandwagon Effect
You start what’s trending, not what’s purposeful. That’s why we have failed forex traders, half-baked tech bros, and abandoned POS kiosks everywhere.
Purpose is personal. You must find your lane, not just follow the noise.
    8️⃣ False Priorities
    We put all hope in:
    God (without work)
    Classroom education (without skills)
    Government (without responsibility)
Faith without works is dead. Education without action is useless. Government without personal accountability is hopeless.
    9️⃣ Mindset is Everything
Until your mind changes, your life can’t. You cannot carry a poor man’s mentality into a rich man’s future. Wealth starts from within.
    Environment Shapes Destiny
Your location can limit your vision. Surroundings influence success. You can’t live in a dump and dream of a palace without mental relocation first.
Move. Change your crowd. Redesign your inputs.
Until you break these chains, you will remain exactly where you are: educated, frustrated, and broke.
    The choice is yours.
Be poor. Or rise. Your future is not a prophecy; it’s a decision.

  • *27 WAYS TO BUILD A HAPPY AND LONG LASTING MARRIAGE *

*Marriage is a beautiful and fulfilling relationship that requires commitment, love, and sacrifice.*

No matter what culture you belong to, what religion you believe, what society, level of wealth, or era you live in – one thing common to all people is that they want to be "happy", especially in their marriages.

    What Should you do?

    1. Love the person you married, not the person you hoped you married. Accept your spouse totally. You cannot love a man/woman you do not accept. Stop comparing your spouse with anyone, he or she can never be somebody else. Until you accept your spouse, you can't get the best out of your marriage

    2. Understand each other. No marriage succeeds without understanding. Learn to know one another as best as you can. Understand you are not the same and may never be. Respect that you are both individuals. Get to know each other strengths and weaknesses. Strengthen each other's weaknesses.

    3. Be quick to forgive and quicker to apologize. Love forgives. Learn to accept apology. Freely forgive your spouse’s past, present and future offenses. Never refer to his/her past mistakes. Never go to bed with anger or unsettled quarrel. Marriage is two forgivers living together.

    4. Ask your spouse, "What can I do for you today?" every single day.

    5. Never talk bad about your spouse to other people. Protect him or her and always keep his or her name safe. Fight for each other, not with each other.

    6. Have lots of s*x. Enjoy S*x with your spouse. Never withhold s*x as a punishment.

    7. Keep the word "divorce" out of your vocabulary. Remember your vows. Review them on a regular basis.

    8. Provide for the needs of your spouse and children. Never be stingy to your spouse. Care for his/her needs. Be generous to him/her. Pay your children’s school fees promptly and regularly. Marriage is not 50/50. It's 100/100. Give yourself entirely, and don't hold back. Men, Be sensitive to your wife’s needs. Spend money to beautify her.

    9. Be faithful to your spouse. Being unfaithful is the easiest way to completely ruin your marriage. Adultery kills.

    10. Understand and learn each other's love language. Either it can be words, gifts, touch, actions, etc. If it is words, then frequently tell your spouse you love and appreciate him/ her. If it is action: regularly do things that they appreciate: either take the garbage out, wash the dishes, cook the food, wash the car, etc
Spoil each other. Keep track of the things your spouse loves and buy them for him or her.

    11. Communication is the key to a relationship. Talk like friends and lovers. Don’t make your spouse guess what you are thinking or feeling. Don't expect him/her to read your mind. You should feel free to discuss all things without fear.

    12. Always listen attentively to your spouse. Switch off your phone or television, shut down your computer or iPad and newspapers, books and magazine should be closed. The greatest communication skill you can develop is the listening skill. Be quiet and patient while he/she is speaking, when he/she is done, you can express your opinion. Look straight into his/her eyes when he is talking to you or when you’re talking to him. This will make him/her feel that you are interested in what he/she wants to say.

    13. Love, respect and courtesy are basic ingredients of happy married life. Give them generously to your spouse. Show your spouse how much you love, care and appreciate him/her regularly. Say, "I love you," every single day.

    14. Be honest and show sincere appreciation. Appreciate each other. Show your spouse appreciation for the little things. Be thankful and say so!!! Find something that you appreciate about your spouse and say thank you.

    15. Surprise each other with lovely gifts, kiss and s*x.
Kiss passionately. Hold hands. Cuddle. Make physical affection a priority in your marriage.

    16. Make quality time for each other. Keep dating each other. Put your marriage and spouse before your children. Play together. Never lose your sense of humor. Make your spouse your best friend.

    17. Share everything...no secrets between you. Be open with your spouse.

    18. Be polite and courteous to each other. Saying thank you, please and I am sorry.

    19. Get rid of bad habits. Don’t do those things your spouse hates. Don’t do things that hurt him/her. Develop a godly character. Don’t create a hostile environment for your spouse. Focus on making your spouse happy. The best way to improve your relationship is to improve yourself.

    20. Always be honest to your partner. Lying never gets you anywhere

    21. Aim to do something at least once per week together. It does not matter what, even if it is to eat together, bath together, watch movies together, read books together and share light conversation

    22. Do NOT look at other marriages and covet. No marriage is prefect. Remember, the grass is not greener on the other side. You will still have to maintain, mow and weed that side too!

    23. Work at your marriage. If you ever lack motivation for your marriage and feel like the flame has gone dead. Just try to imagine yourself without your spouse. Talk to anyone who has lost their soul mate and they'll tell you that they will give anything to have back that special someone.

Remember, it is your marriage and you have come this far. Make the best of it. Pledge to yourself that you will do your part and try your best. Remember that you chose your spouse for forever.

    24. All issues need to have a solution and be resolved at the time of the conversation. Finish what you start otherwise things just hang in the balance, which leads to future problems.

    25. Don't make mountains out of mole hills. Don't waste your time fighting over little things. It's not worth it. Let small things go.

    26. Don't broadcast your problems to everyone else. If you need to talk to someone about it, other than your spouse, get a therapist.

    27. Above all: Serve God together, Pray together & Pray for one another. Pray for your spouse daily in your personal prayers. Be specific. Talk to God about his or her challenges and trials, and ask Him what you can do to be a better spouse.

You will not fail in your marriage in Jesus name

  • Don't think of the things you did not get after praying. Think of the unlimited blessings God gave you without asking.
