Money Is the Least of Currencies
Have you ever had something work out so smoothly, you almost paused to ask yourself, “Wait—what just happened?”
No stress. No pushing. Just favour, plain and simple.
That was me.
I made a simple request, and it was granted—almost too easily. I was still wrapping my head around it when I told a friend. And he said something that felt like revelation:
“More than money, relationship is a currency.”
At first, I thought he was simply equating relationships to money. But he went deeper.
He explained that money, as powerful as it seems, is still the least of all currencies. Why? Because money only works when the person on the other end values it.
But relationships?
They open doors that money cannot. They speak when you’re not in the room.
Sometimes, just the phrase “Tell him you’re from me” carries more weight than a degree, a certificate, or even a full bank account.
And that is exactly what played out in my case.
What money might have struggled to achieve, relationship did with grace and speed.
So let me ask you—do I still need to remind you to value those amazing people in your life?
To hold them in high esteem?
I don’t want to go off track, but let me say this plainly: many of the unexpected blessings and opportunities I’ve received in my life didn’t come from where I thought they would. They came through relationships I had invested in, knowingly or unknowingly.
My dear, chase quality relationships harder than you chase the bag.
Because when everything is stripped away, relationships will still speak for you.
At the end of the day, money may open doors
but relationship walks you in, even when you’re not holding the key.
