• MIT recently completed the first brain-scan study on ChatGPT users—and the results are deeply revealing.
Rather than boosting brain function, prolonged AI use may be dulling it.
Over four months of cognitive data suggest we might be measuring productivity all wrong

In MIT’s study, participants had their brains scanned while using ChatGPT.
→ 83.3% of users couldn’t recall a single sentence they’d written just minutes earlier.
→ In contrast, those writing without AI had no trouble remembering.

Brain connectivity dropped sharply—from 79 to 42 points.
    → That’s a 47% drop in neural engagement.
→ The lowest cognitive performance among all user groups.

Even after stopping ChatGPT use in later sessions, these users showed continued under-engagement.
→ Their performance remained lower than those who never used AI.
→ This suggests more than dependency—it’s cognitive weakening.

Beyond the scans, educators flagged the writing itself.
→ Essays were technically solid, but often called “robotic,” “soulless,” and “lacking depth.”

    Here’s the paradox:
→ ChatGPT makes you 60% faster at completing tasks…
→ But it reduces the mental effort required for learning by 32%.

    The top-performing group?
→ Those who began without AI and added it later.
→ They retained the best memory, brain activity, and overall scores.

Using ChatGPT can feel empowering—but it may quietly offload your thinking.
→ You gain speed, but lose engagement.
→ You get answers, but stop learning how to think.

The takeaway isn’t to avoid AI—but to use it intentionally.
→ Use it to assist, not replace your mind.
    → Build cognitive strength—not dependency.

MIT’s early study on AI and the brain lays out the stakes. The way we use these tools matters more than ever.

  • Sowore Condemns Renaming of Charly Boy Bus Stop, Says No Tribe Owns Lagos More Than Its Residents

Omoyele Sowore, a human rights activist, has criticized the renaming of the Charly Boy Bus Stop in Lagos, stating that the move is an attempt to erase the legacy of Charly Boy, a renowned musician and activist.

Sowore argued that Lagos is not a kingdom, but a city belonging to its residents, regardless of their ethnic background. He emphasized that the Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, and other ethnic groups have contributed to the city's growth and greatness.

Sowore condemned the diatribe written by Mrs. Ebunola Adebusoye, who claimed that Charly Boy does not deserve a bus stop in Lagos due to his alleged misconduct. Sowore described her statement as xenophobic, politically cowardly, and ethnically biased.

He questioned Adebusoye's claims, highlighting the importance of verifying facts before making public statements. Sowore also criticized her attack on his educational background and his organization, Sahara Reporters.

The activist emphasized that true revolutionaries deserve honor, not scorn, from their people. He accused Adebusoye of promoting ethnic purity and attempting to erase the legacy of Charly Boy, who has fought for justice and human rights in Nigeria.

Sowore concluded by stating that Lagos belongs to all its residents, regardless of their ethnic background, and that no tribe owns the city more than those who live in it and contribute to its growth.

  • When I started Justice for Mohbad, I clearly said I couldn’t do it alone and asked everyone to join in. Two groups were created one for a peaceful walk and the second, called Concerned Citizens, for those who still wanted to be part of the movement after the walk was cancelled.

Let me be clear the goal of that group was to seek justice for Mohbad, not to get VDM arrested. You were arrested for def@mation, not because you were f!ghting for justice. So many links were shared in that group and on social media. If any of those links had anything to do with your past, how does that make anyone responsible for your personal issues?

On your arrest i was involved in the first petition against you for def@mation. But you were not arrested then. You were invited and left the same day. I didn’t take it further because Paulo asked me to drop it. On the second petition, yes, my name came up as a witness.

We all agreed that Mohbad’s catalogue and royalties should go to his family. And for the record, every single thing spent on the Justice f!ght came from my own pocket. Nobody paid me a dime.

I won’t speak on this matter again, but to clear the air: VDM, I never asked to see you. It was Officer Suleiman who called me he asked me to settle and make peace with you. He called me on June 28th at 6:45am, said you wanted to meet me. I agreed. Peace was made.

  • Obasanjo became Head of State at 38.

Diete-Spiff became Governor of Rivers State at just 24.

They led Nigeria in their youth—bold, decisive, and unafraid.

Today, those same age groups are called “lazy.”

Meanwhile, 80-year-olds are running the country into the ground.

    What went wrong?

  • People don't understand the undertone

    Okpebholo can't threaten a Kwankwaso

    He can't threaten Atiku

    He can't dare elrufai

    But he can trample Obi

    Obi is fair game

    He is Igbo

    Behind the scenes

    In their closets

Many bigots who moonlight as democrats

Who occupy high offices in this land

    Will clap for Okpebholo

He has voiced out what they murmur in their bedrooms

Onanuga told the Igbo nit to bother about voting in lagos in 2027

He can't tell the same thing to the Hausa

He can't dare the Fulani in Lagos

    Igbo is bushmeat

Against them every weakling, every hustler

    Shows his savagery

We had seen Fr Alia threaten Obi

A man who has no guts to speak about the killer herdsmen and local militants groups ravaging his state

A literal sissy of a Reverend father

We have seen him turn a pugnacious area boy against Obi

Obi is an easy target because of his ethnic group

When an Igbo man is attacked or humiliated like that

All Igbo are put in their right place

Don't think that the Olodo of Edo called Okpebholo is threatening Obi for personal political advantage

He is threatening Obi to please Tinubu.

    Edo was purchased for him

He must show loyalty by delivering the state at all costs

And threatening Obi must be the sort of sport Tinubu likes

That is why all the garrulous men around him revel in it

Tinubu stayed aloof while the Igbo were chased away from polling units in Lagos on March 2023

He thinks highly of McOluomo, Onanuga and recently

Very recently he enjoys Reno Omokri who stopped calling him a drug baron to concentrate his lunacy around Obi and the Igbo

Tinubu is definitely enjoying the threats being issued to Obi by his unscrupulous agents

But he should know that the chickens will come home to roost soon

    When a president sows division

    He reaps katakata

This country needs a transformative and principled leadership

Not a bunch of urban political bandits running around as reformers , stealing votes and looting the country.

  • Its so challenging for children to succeed without parents. It's that point that children need to become steadfast onto God because the Figure head of God over them is taken out. The challenges will be tough especially with their peer groups due to the fact that all are not giving equal opportunities in life to start with. Therefore, orphans are put to a natural disadvantage that requires an extra zeal to thrive against all odds.

  • A GPS With a Seductive Female Voice Encourages Men to Take More Driving Risks

The study consisted of two experiments. The first involved real-world driving simulations where male participants received directions from GPS voices that were either high-pitched or low-pitched female voices.

Results revealed that men receiving instructions from a higher-pitched voice were about 40% more likely to run yellow lights. Researchers speculated that this behavior stemmed from men wanting to show off or demonstrate their driving skills.

In the second experiment, researchers examined two groups of men in a virtual reality setting tasked with overcoming obstacles. On average, men exposed to a higher-pitched voice navigated obstacles more quickly, suggesting that the pitch subconsciously encouraged them to take greater risk.

  • TOUCHING THE LIVES OF ALMAJIRIS AND WOMEN ON THE STREETS OF JALINGO – A DAY OF LOVE AND IMPACT- ROHHI

Yesterday, As the Global Humanitarian Ambassador and Representative of ROHHI, i had the honour of joining the incredible Royal Hearts Humanitarian Foundation (ROHHI) family as we stormed the streets of Jalingo to bring hope, joy, and relief to two often-overlooked groups the Almajiris in motor parks and the women selling vegetables and perishable goods by the roadside.

It was a deeply emotional and unforgettable experience. We were able to distribute clothing and financial support to the women, and gave out slippers, little token, and words of encouragement to the Almajiris. The joy, prayers, and smiles we received in return were priceless. That is a true reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can light up hearts and transform lives.

Seeing people smile and bless God because of our little sacrifice brought tears of joy to my eyes.

Special thanks to our tireless and devoted Country Project Coordinator (CPC), Barr. Amb. Stella Ahijo Musa, for her exemplary leadership, and to our outstanding ROHHI Nigeria Directors, whose commitment made this outreach a reality. Pastor Ayuba Ardo Tijos, Apostle Caleb Dinki, Amb. • A High School Yearbook Photo Might Predict How Long You'll Live

Twelve impartial volunteers assessed the physical attractiveness of 8,386 high school graduates from the class of 1957 based on their yearbook photos. The graduates were categorized into six groups by attractiveness level, and researchers tracked who had passed away by 2022.

Those deemed least attractive faced a 16.8% higher mortality risk compared to others. However, no significant difference in death rates was found between individuals of average attractiveness and the most attractive ones.

While considering factors like education and income reduced the significance of these differences, health status emerged as the most influential variable. The authors acknowledge that the reasons behind this correlation remain unclear and advocate for further research to understand the connection.
