  • Caesarean sections were performed in Africa long before they were standardized across the world. They were invented in Africa long before Europe, and the rest of the world fully mastered how to conduct them (Young, 1944). The procedure is said to have been started since time immemorial. When a baby could not be delivered vaginally, midwives and surgeons would turn to C-sections in order to deliver the baby safely and alive. In areas around Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria, midwives and surgeons would perform this procedure (Davies, 1959).

When a baby could not be delivered vaginally, the midwives and surgeons would sedate the mother in labour with a lot of banana wine. A knife would be sterilized using heat, while the mother would be tied to the bed for her safety. An incision would be made quickly by a team, and the quickness was to ensure that there would be no excessive loss of blood, and also that other organs would not be cut.

A combination of sterilized knives and sedation would make the experience less painful for the mother (Felkin, 1884). During these times, women rarely developed infections because antiseptic tinctures and salves were used to clean the area and stitches were applied. Shock and excessive blood loss were uncommon. Uganda, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were the countries where this was most practised. In Uganda, C-sections were normally performed by a team of male healers, but in Tanzania and the DRC, they were typically done by female midwives (Davies, 1959).

It was in the Ugandan kingdom of Bunyoro that this procedure was most documented. The procedure was performed so well that Robert W. Felkin, a Scottish medical anthropologist, documented all of this in the book The Development of Scientific Medicine in the African Kingdom of Bunyoro Kitara. He witnessed the procedure in 1879 and was captivated by it. What got his attention was that back in Europe, a C-section was considered to be an option only to be used in the most desperate situations. At this time, "nearly half of European and US women died in childbirth, and nearly 100% of European women died if a C-section was performed" (Felkin, 1884).

  • Using Someone For Money Ritual Is No Longer In Vogue. Get A Good Business And Network

The South Eastern Nigeria is the region where you will find the highest number of self-made billionaires ( Not money stolen from Nigeria)

The Igbos have the highest number of millionaires in Nigeria. The poverty rate in Igbo land is very low when compared to other regions.

I don't want to exaggerate, there is no Igbo family where you will not find a millionaire, thanks to the business acumen that characterizes a typical Igbo man.

The moneybags you saw at Obi Cubana's mother's burial or 50th birthday turned carnival are top importers and exporters. Many of them are captains of industry. About 60% of them have sole distributorship of products needed in Nigeria and Africa. They represent big foreign companies in Nigeria.

If you are thinking that they are ritualist, occultic men, Yahoo Yahoo guys or they are into money laundering, you be ??????????? Complete am yourself. You need to emancipate yourself from the misconception you have about them.

Google the likes of E-Money, Obi Cubana, Mmerigwo Henry Iyke, Jowi Zaza, Valentine Ozigbo, Chico, Port Harcourt Instigator, etc, Air peace etc , you will know that these guys knows what real business entails.

Let me shock you, one of them (name withheld) who is among those that raised N257m to support the burial is the sole distributor of a pharmaceutical drug in Nigeria that sells like pure water. The drug is the most effective drug for a particular disease (name withheld)
The young man makes N1000 from the N3,500 which is the selling price of the drug and the total sales of the drug per year is in millions. Invariably, he is making billions of naira every year and you are there on social media accusing him of being a ritualist.
Even the ones that supported his birthday with hundreds of millions are business owners with brain wey get sense cos some brains are empty, onwero ife di ya except criticisms and excuses

You cannot get to this level with your salary. STOP WORKING and go into entrepreneurship and network with those who will show you the way.

There are several niches/markets that are yet to be tapped. Nigeria as an emerging economy has the largest market in Africa. There is nothing that you will import that will not be sold.

In 2013, Mark Essien from Akwa Ibom returned to Nigeria from Berlin Germany where he was studying and doing a part-time job. The young man founded Hotels.ng where all the hotels in Nigeria are listed. Whenever you book a room in a hotel he gets his commission. In 2015, the owner of eBay, Pierre Omidyar invested $1.2m into Hotels.ng

Mark Essien made the right decision and the decision has placed him in the League of Africa's youngest millionaires.

  • BREAKING: Rivers State Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas threatens legal action against NBA over failure to refund the N300 million donation back to Rivers State Government

According to Ibas, the records show that the payment of N300 million to the NBA was made with the mutual understanding that Rivers State would host the 2025 edition of the NBA Annual General Conference (AGC).

He rejected NBA’s claim that the N300 million payment made by the state was a "gift", emphasizing that the Rivers State Government entered into an arrangement with the NBA in good faith, with the understanding that hosting the conference in the state would attract significant economic benefits to our state, positively and directly impact the businesses of our people.

Ibas said the NBA's unilateral decision to relocate the AGC to Enugu and subsequent decision to withhold the ₦300 million paid for the purpose of hosting the NBA AGC 2025 in Rivers State is unethical and amounts to a breach of trust.

He added that failure of the NBA to immediately refund the ₦300 million to the Rivers State Government, will compel the implementation of all legal means to recover the property of the good people of Rivers State.

I was also hoping that someone will notice my great footballing skills and take me abroad to play. But, I was always having injuries. Sometimes when we were booked for a show, we’ll not be able to go because I’ll be limping from injury I got from football. My partner PRESH will be very angry with me. You know, we used to be a duo called KCPresh.

“One day Presh called me and said, KC, you need to choose between football or music. You can’t combine both of them. It won’t work. It was difficult, but I chose music. And I don’t regret it. Many of my footballer friends back in the day, couldn’t make it beyond the Ajegunle hood where we grew up, despite their great skills.

“Football in Nigeria is great luck and connection. You may be very talented, but you may not be able to make it beyond your village, that’s the fact. Maybe, if I had chosen football over music, I wouldn’t be the KCee I am today.” — KCee

    Ten Unknown Facts About #Tesla
Founding: Tesla was founded in 2003 by engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning,
not Elon Musk. Musk joined the company as a major investor and became its public face.
Model Naming Quirk: Tesla’s car lineup follows a playful pattern: Model S, 3, X, and Y.
Elon Musk has said it was meant to spell "S3XY," with the number 3 replacing an "E."
Battery Focus: Tesla's breakthrough isn’t just in electric cars but also in battery technology. Tesla has invested heavily in creating
powerful and long-lasting batteries, not only for cars but also for energy storage solutions like Powerwall.
Autopilot and Full Self-Driving: Tesla’s Autopilot is an advanced driver-assistance system, but it’s not fully autonomous. The
company is working on Full Self-Driving (FSD) software, which could eventually enable true autonomous driving.
Gigafactories: Tesla operates massive manufacturing plants known as Gigafactories, located in the U.S., China, and
Germany. These factories are integral to Tesla’s ability to scale production and reduce costs.
SpaceX Connection: Tesla and SpaceX, both run by Elon Musk, share more than just a CEO. The companies collaborate on technology, and
SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket even launched a Tesla Roadster into space as part of a 2018 test flight.
Sustainable Vision: Tesla's mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
In addition to electric cars, the company is a leader in solar power and energy storage solutions.
Over-the-Air Updates: Tesla was the first car manufacturer to allow over-the-air software updates, letting owners
download new features and improvements to their cars without visiting a dealership.
AI and Robots: Tesla’s AI Day event introduced Tesla Bot, a humanoid robot designed to handle dangerous or
repetitive tasks, showcasing Musk’s vision for AI and robotics beyond automobiles.
Environmental Impact: Tesla has reduced the overall carbon footprint of its vehicle manufacturing and is
working on creating fully recyclable batteries, making it a leader in the green automotive revolution.
