• The #Palestinian Islamic #Resistance Movement #Hamas:

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) vehemently condemns the heinous crime perpetrated by the #Zionist occupation army in the Rafah’s Tal al-Sultan neighborhood, where the bodies of 14 martyrs, including six of the Civil Defense personnel and eight of the Palestinian Red Crescent paramedics, were found. They had been missing for days and were found handcuffed and buried in one grave.

This crime represents the largest act of mass targeting and deliberate killing of emergency medical personnel and confirms that we are dealing with a criminal, sadistic enemy who is devoid of all human values. This has occurred in disregard for international law, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Conventions that ensure the protection of medical and civil defense crews during conflicts.

The criminal Zionist enemy continues to commit the most heinous crimes during the brutal #genocide it is waging against innocent civilians in the #Gaza Strip, flagrantly and systematically violating all laws and norms, emboldened by a disgraceful international silence and the political and military cover provided by the complicit #US administration.

The entire world must stand firmly against this unprecedented brutal behavior in the history of conflicts, unequivocally condemn the crimes of Netanyahu’s fascist government, and work towards holding the criminal leaders of the occupation accountable before international courts for their crimes against humanity.

Senior Hamas leader Sami Abu Zuhri:

“Netanyahu’s statements that the goal of the war is to implement #Trump’s displacement plan unequivocally confirm that we are facing an American-Zionist scheme linked to the displacement project.”

“In response to this demonic plot which combines massacres and starvation, everyone capable of carrying a weapon anywhere in the world must take action. Spare no explosive, bullet, knife, or stone. Let everyone break their silence.”

“We are all guilty if American interests and the Zionist occupation remain safe amid the slaughter and starvation of Gaza.”

  • *QUDS DAY COMMEMORATION 28TH RAMADAN 1446/28TH MARCH 2025*

Quds Day, observed annually on the last Friday of Ramadan, is a global event dedicated to expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposing Israeli occupation. Established in 1979 by *Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini,* the day serves as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for justice in Palestine and the broader fight against oppression. Across the world, millions participate in peaceful marches, rallies, and discussions advocating for Palestinian liberation.
In Nigeria, *Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria* (IMN), has been at the forefront of Quds Day commemorations. Under his leadership, the IMN has organized large-scale processions, raising awareness about the Palestinian cause and denouncing global injustices. Despite facing violent crackdowns from security forces—most notably in 2014 and 2018 - Zakzaky and his followers remain unwavering in their activism. His persistent advocacy for Palestine has drawn both national and international attention, reinforcing Nigeria’s role in the global Quds Day movement.
*Quds Day continues to symbolize resistance against oppression,* and through the efforts of figures like Sheikh Zakzaky, its message remains alive, inspiring many to stand in solidarity with the oppressed.

  • I am proud of the Akwa Poly Students Community

I'm happy that the students of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene took the bold step yesterday to register their displeasure over the senseless Brutality of their students by the Nigerian Police.

At least, for the first time, they were able to get the Chairman of the C0uncil to step out to make a public statement about the issue.

I also saw that the Force Headquarters at Ikot Akpan Abia also made a press statement yesterday.

I love their bravery despite the resistance by the police at Ikot Ekpene, who allegedly threw teargas at them during the peaceful demonstration.

At least they made a statement
And I hope they did that within the provision on the law!

Let's hope for a solution soon!
Let's hope they back up their words with actions too.
    Kudos to the student community

    Aluta continua!

  • ‘Fubara is 2-0 Down, More to Come’ – Wike Declares In Rivers State

Former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said Governor Siminalayi Fubara will suffer more setbacks amid the ongoing political crisis in the state.

Wike made the statement in Abalama, Asari-Toru Local Government Area, during a Thanksgiving Service and Civic Reception held in his honour. His visit took place despite resistance from the community’s monarch and residents, who opposed the event due to rising political tensions in the state.

Earlier in the day, protests erupted in the area as demonstrators blocked roads and carried placards rejecting Wike’s presence. Videos shared on social media showed residents, including women and youths, voicing their opposition and demanding that the former governor stay away.

The protesters pointed to Wike’s past remark that the Kalabari people are a minority in the state as one of the reasons for their resentment.

The Amayanabo of Abalama, King Dr. A. B. Big Tom Tom JP, had officially distanced the community from the event. In a letter dated March 12, 2025, addressed to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, he expressed shock at learning about the program through social media and cited security concerns as the reason for rejecting it.

Amid the ongoing political crisis, the Supreme Court recently halted federal allocations to Rivers State until Governor Fubara presents the 2025 budget to the state House of Assembly, which is led by Wike’s ally, Martins Amaewhule.

The Assembly, which Fubara has struggled to gain control over, adjourned plenary indefinitely last Friday, preventing him from presenting the budget.

Addressing the situation, Wike mocked Fubara’s leadership and blamed his advisers for his political troubles.

“You (Fubara) surrounded yourself with people who wanted to be governor, whom I said ‘no, these people don’t mean well for Rivers State.’ They are the ones surrounding you, giving you advice. Do you think you will succeed? They will give bad advice, and look at what bad advice is doing to you. You are already down 2-0, and there’s more to come,” Wike said.

  • Rivers State on the Brink: No Funds, No Peace, and a Political Showdown

Port Harcourt, Nigeria — The political crisis in Rivers State has taken a dramatic turn, with Governor Siminalayi Fubara facing a major financial and governance deadlock following a Supreme Court ruling that halted federal allocations to the state. As power struggles rage between Fubara and his estranged political benefactor, Minister Nyesom Wike, ordinary citizens are left to bear the brunt of the turmoil.

But wait first—who go really suffer for this wahala? The politicians wey dey fight for power or the everyday people wey just wan survive?

The Power Struggle: How Did We Get Here?

Governor Fubara, once Wike’s political protégé, came into office under his influence. However, their alliance quickly fell apart as Fubara sought to assert his independence—a move Wike and his loyalists in the state legislature fiercely resisted.

Then, just when tensions seemed to be settling, the Supreme Court delivered a thunderous blow: halting federal allocations to the state and nullifying local government elections conducted under Fubara’s administration. The ruling, seen by many as favoring Wike’s camp, has intensified the crisis, with Rivers State now in an economic chokehold.

The big question remains: How will the governor navigate this storm without sinking the state?

Rivers Elders: "We No Go Beg for Our Own Money!"

Amid the escalating political battle, the Rivers State Elders Forum has stepped in, rallying behind Fubara. High Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe made it clear:

"Rivers State will not bow to undue pressure. We no go beg for our own money!"

Their defiance underscores a growing resistance to external interference, but without federal funds, how long can the state sustain itself? Because, make we talk true—e no easy to run government without money.

The People Are Suffering, While Politicians Play Chess

While the power brokers continue their political warfare, the real victims are the everyday people of Rivers State.

πŸšΆπŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ Mr. Chinedu Eze, a community leader, expressed frustration:
"People for this state don tire! Na ordinary people dey suffer while dem dey do political game. We no go gree."

Mrs. Adaobi Kalu, a small business owner, lamented:
"Business don spoil. No money, no customers. If government no settle this fight, wetin we go do?"

Experts Weigh In: What's Next for Rivers?

    Dr. Ayo Okonjo, Political Analyst:
"This situation exposes a deeper problem in Nigeria’s politics—where governance is often tied to personal loyalty rather than public service."

    Prof. Helen Nnaji, Legal Expert:
"Blocking federal funds has major implications. This could lead to more legal battles and even constitutional debates on state autonomy."

    Senator Magnus Abe:
"We’ve seen this before—when political godfatherism clashes with governance, the people always suffer."

    What Happens Next?

Governor Fubara and his supporters insist they will not back down. But with no federal allocation, the state faces a major financial crisis. Workers may go unpaid, hospitals may run out of supplies, and essential services could grind to a halt.

The question now is: Can Rivers State find alternative revenue sources to survive this crisis? Or will Fubara be forced to make political concessions?

  • Do you know who came up with such advice I'm asking!

It is the food manufacturing companies.

Just take small... You dey take am and you dey go metabolically mama Sadé.

This will keep your appetite or cravings at it's peak.

They also tell you your brain needs sugar because it runs on glucose. Yes, I agree with that but do you know your brains can run on ketones as well. When you continue to indulge in this, moderated sugar, long enough you'd get to a point your cells can't even use this same glucose anymore because by then insulin resistance would have come knocking.

Your neurons will start to starve and symptoms of dementia could creep in like a rat with lions jaws.

    Follow me on this

    Do this small experiment just like we have always told you;

    Don't do carbs

    Do more High Quality Proteins

Then see how your brain feels within an hour. I bet you'd feel much better.

    Do this again,

Go back to the carbs and observe how you would feel, one of the things you would experience is brain fog.

    So, what about brown sugar.

mama Sadé, you are fighting the same devil's twin brother...

    Run oh

  • Did you know that even your enemies can sharpen you?

The Israelites had to go to the Philistines to sharpen their weapons (1 Samuel 13:20). God can use your opposition to refine you!

That difficult boss? Teaching you patience and endurance.

That financial struggle? Sharpening your faith in divine provision.

That spiritual attack? Strengthening your prayer life.

Instead of complaining about the resistance, ask God to sharpen you through it! Because when your weapons are ready, the battle will not find you weak!

Pray: “Lord, use every challenge to sharpen me for greatness!”

  • THE 48 LAWS OF POWER.

A Book written by Robert Greene that offers a Series of Strategies for Obtaining and Maintaining Power in various situations. Here I leave you a summary of the 48 Laws:

    1. Don't Outshine the Boss: Make your Superiors feel Superior. Don't expose your Talent too much or you might Trigger their Insecurity.

2.Don't Trust friends too much, use your Enemies: Friends Betray you more easily, but if you Manage to WIN an Enemy, they will be more Loyal.

    3. Hide your Intentions: Keep People Off Balance so they can't anticipate your Actions.

    4. Always say Less than Necessary: Silence Breeds Power, and Talking too much Reveals your Plans.

    5. Protect your Reputation at all Costs: Reputation is the Cornerstone of Power.

    6. Call Attention at all Costs: Be Visible to be Relevant.

    7. Make others Work for you and Attribute it: Take Advantage of the Work and Effort of others to your Advantage.

    8. Make others come to you: Don't Run after Others, make them Look for you.

    9. Win with Actions, Never Arguments: Prove your Point through Actions, Not Words.

    10. Avoid Losers and Unhappy: The Misfortune of others is Contagious; stay away from those who Bring you Down.

    11. Make People Depend on you: If others Depend on you, you're in Control.

  • LET'S TALK ABOUT COURT MARRIAGE..

Court marriage refers to a legal union between two individuals that takes place in a court or before a government official, often without a traditional wedding ceremony. It is a straightforward legal process that involves registering the marriage with the appropriate authorities, such as a magistrate or a judge. Court marriages are typically chosen by couples who wish for a simple, formal recognition of their relationship, often bypassing religious rituals or elaborate ceremonies.

    Advantages of Court Marriage:

    1. Simplicity and Convenience: The process is straightforward, often requiring fewer formalities and paperwork than traditional weddings.

    2. Legal Recognition: Court marriage provides legal proof of marriage, offering both partners legal rights and protections.

    3. No Religious or Cultural Constraints: Couples can marry regardless of their religious, caste, or cultural backgrounds, as long as they meet legal requirements.

    4. Cost-Effective: It eliminates the need for expensive wedding ceremonies and celebrations.

    5. Privacy: The ceremony is usually private, with minimal public involvement, which some couples prefer.

    6. Quick Process: Court marriages can be completed in a relatively short amount of time, sometimes within a few days or weeks.

    Disadvantages of Court Marriage:

    1. Lack of Traditional Ceremony: Some couples or families may feel that the absence of a traditional wedding ceremony or rituals takes away from the cultural significance of the marriage.

    2. Social Stigma: In some societies, court marriages may be viewed as unconventional or less respected compared to traditional marriages, especially in more conservative cultures.

    3. Limited Celebration: The absence of a celebration might be seen as less festive or meaningful for those who value large weddings.

    4. Family Resistance: Some families may oppose court marriages, particularly if they involve interfaith, intercaste, or intercultural unions.

    5. Legal Formalities: While generally simpler, the legal requirements, such as age restrictions, consent, and witness signatures, must be adhered to, which may be a hassle for some.

Ultimately, the choice between court marriage and a traditional wedding depends on the couple’s preferences, cultural values, and circumstances.
