  • Lecturer Dies in Hotel Room After ‘Hot Sex Match’ With 200-Level Student in Kogi State

Dr. Olabode Abimbola Ibikunle — known as one of the strictest lecturers at Kogi State University, Anyigba — has passed away. And it reportedly happened in a hotel room.

According to reports, Dr. Ibikunle — a married man with children — checked into a hotel three days ago with a beautiful Ebira lady, who is a 200-level student of Social Studies Education.

Sources claim that the man filled his system with energy drinks, as though he was about to play in a Champions League final.

But unfortunately, just as the action started, it was said that the first round went well… but as the second round was about to begin, the man died.

An alarm was raised. The girl, who is currently in police custody, reportedly told authorities that she doesn’t know how Dr. Ibikunle died. However, police suspect foul play — they’re even questioning whether she may have poisoned him.

Meanwhile, students of Kogi State University are celebrating the death of one of their strictest lecturers. They’ve been trending the incident online with humorous captions.

Photos show what the students have been saying.

  • Natasha has finally made up her mind to resume plenary

The Kogi senator has finally fixed Tuesday July 22, 2025.as a new date to resume her activities in the Red chamber.

This she made after the federal high court judgment that declared her suspension by the Senate excessive .

"The Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has rescheduled her return to the upper chamber for legislative duties to Tuesday, 22 July.

She said the new date was to honour the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday".

Recall the federal high court urged the Senate to consider her suspension that the six month is too much.

Though the Senate rest on the fact that the judgment was not binding since they were told by the court to consider, that they were not ordered by the court to lift her suspension .

  • *A KIDNAPPING DEN*

One day while John was driving his car on a dilapidated road to his village in Enugu, four men with guns came out from the bush and shouted at him to stop. John quickly obeyed them and held up his hands at gunpoint.

They took him into a solitary place in the forest, where there were wild animals and lizards; where flies were buzzing, birds and butterflies fluttering in the air. The five men trekked in the forest for two hours. John's left sandal got cut from long walk.

Then a tall black man appeared to meet them; he was the leader of the kidnappers. His men handed John over to him and went away. John stayed in their den for eight days and nights without water or food.

The amount the kidnappers demanded for John's release was 50m naira. The negotiation was still going on when the mask their boss wore mistakenly fell out. John saw his face, recognized him and called his name! Both of them stared fixedly at each other. The man was juniour staff, who worked under John in a finance office before he retired from government service!

"What're you doing here, sir?" the leader of the kidnappers asked John in surprise.

"I'm from this place," John replied.

"Oh no! You don't mean it! Your people are very wicked!" the man exclaimed.

The leader of the gang was a Boko Haram member from Kogi State. He was hired for the business by John's younger cousin whom he trained in the university.

"Do you know this name . . . ?" The kidnapper mentioned the name of John's cousin and showed him his phone number. Both of them had the same surname.

The kidnapper dropped his AK47 on the ground, knelt down before John and promised that nobody would harm him. He took John's phone, searched through it and saw a video showing where some Boko Haram men were punishing their victims.

"From where did you get this video?" He asked John.

"I got it from my WhatsApp group," he replied.

"Look at me in the video. I was with my colleagues in Katsina forest, carrying out an operation there. Please, sir, I'll take this your phone."

    John said, "Okay."

"Your brother asked us to collect 50m naira from you. If you refuse to pay it, we should kill you. But, as long as I'm concerned, nothing will happen to you. I remember how good you were to me, Oga. Will you be able to get 5m naira?" He asked.

John promised that he would try.

The kidnapper then gave John his phone and asked him to call his people to gather the 5m naira immediately. That was on the ninth day John was with the kidnappers in the forest.

Much later on, the 5m naira was brought to the kidnappers. They handed it over to their boss. The latter collected John's mobile phone, with the _SIM cards_ inside it, and said his farewells and left.

John walked quickly away and entered the vehicle that was used to bring the money. He was carried home to meet his people who had gathered to welcome him.

    QUESTIONS:
*°* Who was the person that planned and arranged for John's kidnap?
*°* Who was the person that saved John's life?
*°* Explain why John was not killed.

_I leave you to answer the questions._

One man’s intervention in human capital development in two years in a country where primitive accumulative tendencies is still a thing of pride.

Peter Obi has transcended the primitive accumulative level. He is now consistently and consciously investing in the society.

Those who are still at that mindless accumulative level don’t understand this reality.

Instead of learning, they are attacking. Instead of submitting, they are obstructing.

    Peter is better!

SENATOR SERIAKE DICKSON THROWS HIS WEIGHT BEHIND SENATOR NATASHA AKPOTI-UDUAGHAN'S REINSTATEMENT.

The Senator representing Bayelsa West, Senator Seriake Dickson, has thrown his weight behind the return of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) to the Senate following a court judgment that nullified her six-month suspension.

Dickson gave his position while addressing journalists in Abuja on Saturday.

The former Bayelsa State governor said he had never supported prolonged suspensions of lawmakers, stressing that such actions run contrary to constitutional principles and legislative ethics.

Dickson said, “I sympathize with Natasha. I have never been in support of any parliamentary body suspending members for long periods.

“The Senate leadership and my colleagues know my position on this, anchored on the law, the constitution, and my conviction.

“Senators are here to agree and disagree in the national interest. So, we have to tolerate and respect one another, even when we differ in opinion.”

Dickson emphasized the need for Akpoti-Uduaghan to resume her duties without further delay, insisting that her voice and representation are vital to the legislative process.

“I was not present when her suspension was announced, but that is not my concern. My interest is that she resumes her seat and continues to perform her constitutional responsibilities.

“I understand the court has already made a decision on the matter,” he added.

Two weeks ago, the Federal High Court in Abuja declared Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension by the Senate as unconstitutional, excessive, and a violation of the rights of her constituents.

Justice Binta Nyako, in a ruling, ordered her immediate reinstatement and awarded a ₦5m fine against her for contempt, relating to a satirical Facebook post that breached a court order issued on March 4, 2025.

The post, which appeared to mock Senate President Godswill Akpabio, was ruled to have violated an interim injunction.

Nonetheless, the court ruled that the Senate’s action in suspending her for six months was beyond its constitutional powers.

    COPIED FROM: THE PUNCH NEWSPAPERS.

Senator Dickson is a truthful leader. Other leaders should as a matter of fact emulate him. More power to your elbow sir.

  • While I am not a legal expert, it has become apparent that Senator Natasha H. Akpoti's educational background raises questions. There are claims suggesting she either attended night classes or had her schooling at Kogi Central Park, which could imply a non traditional educational path.

Recently, her supporters, including Akpoti herself, were celebrating a federal high court judgment that ruled in her favor, marking a significant victory in her ongoing legal battles. However, following this decision, she filed an appeal for a stay of execution, indicating her intent to challenge any immediate effects of the ruling.

Furthermore, in a related development, Senator Akpoti has taken the federal government to court again regarding the same issue, seeking to clarify and possibly overturn decisions that she believes are unjust.
This series of actions reflects her determination to advocate for her position and highlights the ongoing legal complexities surrounding her case.

Normally Natasha H Akpoti doesn't know what she's doing, but rather she's dancing around to entice her followers
