• So, my landlady increased our rent from 250k to 300k.

I told her face-to-face that I'd been complaining to her about the earthing problem in my room.

Everything in my room is shócking including my bathroom wall so because of that I will continue paying 250k.

My landlady got angry that day. There's nothing she didn't say but I don't like long talks once I've said that one important thing any other thing you are saying I will never pay attention to it.

Later that day she came to my room to find out if the room was shócking or not but the guy woman seized her breath and nothing shócked her and that act alone still shócked me.

She served me quit notice to leave her house and let another person move in since I'm proven stûbbórn.

I know my landlady too well. If I agree to move out she will not refund me the money for the remaining months and she will still call the police for me because she loves arresting her tenants the way Atiku loves running an election every four years.

I begged her to let me stay till December when my rent will expire.

She agreed but she was carrying face for me.

I kept looking for what I would do to make her take me off her mind before I would sleep in my room one night and wake up in a police cell the next morning.

One day I was in my room and I heard her talking to my neighbor that she would be hosting her organization people in our compound and that she should borrow her freezer for a day to freeze drinks.

The neighbor said her freezer isn't big.

Immediately I heard it I rushed out of my room and I told my landlady to use mine that mine is big.

    She was so happy...

I told her I wouldn't be around that day but I would leave my key with her but she should please be the only one that would enter my room because of how I arranged the room.

She swore she would be the only one who would enter my room that day to pack the drinks.

She gave me the drinks and I froze it for her.

The day her organization people will come... I took my bath and gave my landlady my room key then secretly entered one of my neighbor's rooms and lay down.

During the time for merriment, my landlady entered my room to pack her drinks.

She opened the freezer well then packed about four malts and turned to put them inside the container she came with to carry them.

Her bombom mistakenly touched the body of my freezer the freezer didn't show mercy oh it shócked my landlady turn-turn.

My landlady like that fell down and mistakenly leaned on my kitchen cabinet oooh that place is a no-go area. It was my kitchen cabinet that shócked trouble and wahala out of her body.

My landlady screamed! everybody in the compound including me who was hanging around like a wall géckó rushed to my room.

Come and see my landlady na!!! she was looking like one overused 1995 rag.

They wanted to take her to the hospital I told them No, that she would be fine they should lie her on my bed and give her enough chilled malt.

My landlady was the one who finished all the occasion malt just for her to get strength no other person tasted the malt.

The last time my kitchen cabinet shócked me. I finished my 7 malts and 4 thin milk I had in my room that day and when I got myself It pained me.

Her organization people all later left it was me and other tenants in my room waiting for her to wake.

My landlady woke at midnight the first thing she asked was: is today judgment day?

I asked her if she meant her punishment day. She slept off again.

Last Sunday she invited all of us to her church and she testified how the good Lord saved her life.

Her pastor advised her to call an electrician and fix the earthing problem and she did it.

Here I am this morning giving my own testimony that my landlady has finally fixed the earthing problem in my room. Nothing is shócking again in my room.

    Glory be to God!!!!!

  • THINGS HUSBANDS AND WIVES TRULY ENJOY IN MARRIAGE.

I watched a serious debate on Facebook between men and women about whether marriage favors one gender over the other. Some men argued that marriage primarily benefits women, claiming it is a punishment for men because they have to work tirelessly to provide for their wives and children for the rest of their lives. In contrast, women argued that marriage actually favors men because they are often expected to take care of their children and support their husbands emotionally. Some men even stated that if they had the understanding they possess today, they would choose not to get married.

The question is: Does marriage benefit both men and women?

A healthy, happy marriage is built on mutual love, trust, and intentional actions. While everyone is unique, most husbands and wives share common needs and joys in a loving relationship.

Here are things that both men and women typically enjoy in marriage — and how you can bring more of them into your home.

What Husbands Often Enjoy in Marriage:

    1. Respect and Honor

    > “However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”
    — Ephesians 5:33

A man deeply enjoys being respected by his wife — it strengthens his confidence and role as leader. Men feel deeply fulfilled when they are respected, especially in front of others. Respect speaks louder than love for many husbands.

    2. A Peaceful and Supportive Wife

    > “It is better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.”
    — Proverbs 21:9

A man enjoys peace at Home – A calm, loving environment helps him recharge and feel safe. A husband treasures peace in the home and a wife who uplifts him rather than constantly tears him down.

    3. $exual Fulfillment and Delight

    > “Let your fountain be blessed and rejoice in the wife of your youth… let her breasts satisfy you at all times.”
    — Proverbs 5:18-19

God designed $ex as a gift in marriage, and a husband is to find joy and fulfillment in his wife.

    4. Encouragement and Support

    > “Two are better than one… If either of them falls, one can help the other up.”
    — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

A husband enjoys knowing his wife stands by him in struggles and supports his dreams.

Emotional Support – A wife who believes in him, listens without judgment, and cheers him on through both wins and losses.

    5. Her Wisdom and Counsel

    > “A prudent wife is from the Lord.”
    — Proverbs 19:14

Men value a woman who is not just beautiful but also wise and spiritually discerning.

    6. Physical & Emotional Intimacy – Beyond $ex, husbands value being touched, held, kissed, and emotionally connected.

    7. Affirmation & Appreciation – Simple words like “Thank you for working hard” or “I’m proud of you” go a long way.

    8. Companionship – Sharing fun, laughter, movies, meals, and hobbies helps him feel connected beyond just being a provider.

    9. Shared Responsibilities – A wife who’s a teammate, not just a task-giver, makes marriage feel like a partnership.

    10. Admiration – Husbands love to feel admired for who they are, not just what they do.

    11. Freedom to Lead & Be Vulnerable – He thrives in a space where he can lead sometimes and still be vulnerable without shame.

    12. Encouragement in His Dreams – A woman who supports his goals and celebrates his growth wins his heart repeatedly.

  • WAR REPRESENTATIONS

Perception is a fascinating topic to explore, as the deeper you observe life from various people’s social locations- such as age, gender, class, and ethnicity- as general indicators, the more you will question why people think the way they do. Today, I was contemplating Trump's perception of Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian Prime Minister, who has, in my view, become world-famous for his resilience and fighting spirit amid a terrible situation that Ukraine did not instigate; Russia invaded a sovereign democratic nation. As I contemplated, I learnt a fundamental truth we should all consider: How do we know anyone, such as Trump, Zelensky, Putin, and many other names that may have been popularised on social media or in the news?

Whenever we hear information, such as a news report or a social media post, from a perspective that encourages critical discussion of certain postulates, which include stating facts or opinions, it often feels narrow, and much of the information we receive is mediated. One of the greatest war strategies is information, as evidenced by the situation between Hamas and Israel. Hamas’s information campaign appeared to conquer through protests, riots, and extremist views against Jews, inciting chants of antisemitism to turn people against them, even though they were invaded as a sovereign nation. Many seem to forget this, as the war led to the civilian deaths of innocent Palestinians. Meanwhile, innocent Jews faced provocation and hate speech, even globally, with reputable organizations disputing claims of rape against women, despite forensic evidence and eyewitness accounts. Feminist groups and various news reports further denied this information.

We could take sides with Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, or Russia based on what we hear in the news. Generally, from a Western perspective, people support Ukraine, viewing it as a free democracy that manages its political affairs. Yet, Trump called Zelensky a dictator. Meanwhile, the calmly spoken Putin believes his regime is justified, though I do not understand the logic behind his worldview that Ukraine cannot be part of NATO, aside from a desire for power. My understanding of this war is severely limited, as the only information I have is through mediated content and the views it conveys. Let’s imagine we are standing outside of the words, meanings, descriptions, observations, sentiments, and feelings we may experience when an innocent child is murdered in cold blood or when drones invade people’s backyards and attack them. Then, we ponder whether Russia did this and Ukraine didn’t. Were Ukrainians supposed to give up and allow the bully to win, thereby losing their sovereignty?

The concept of nationalism clearly exists in each of these countries, highlighting the unique disposition of each cultural group. However, Israel was given to the Jews by God, and there has been a persistent attack on God’s chosen nation, ongoing for centuries. If we revisit the story of Abraham, bearing Isaac and Ishmael- one from Sarah, the free woman, and one from Hagar, the slave woman- we see the emergence of two distinct peoples. It was even prophesied that Ishmael would be a wild donkey of a man; his hand would be against everyone, and everyone’s hand against him, as he lives in hostility towards all his brothers. This division has led to differing perspectives. Sarah was unhappy with Ishmael's situation, leading to their expulsion, which can be seen as the root cause of the divisions we feel today. We must also view this not just from the physical realm; the days are short. Just as the Bible prophesied, these are the beginnings of birth pains. Moreover, we share a common domain; the internet connects the world in previously unimaginable ways, creating echo chambers of various subcultures. Those who oppose Israel often congregate through algorithms that link them with like-minded individuals globally. This fosters an environment where hate speech against God’s chosen people is further exacerbated. This underscores why questioning everything is fundamental. How can we be sure what we know is true if the major source of information is mediated rather than experiential?

While we've seen footage of World War I, have we ever questioned how it was filmed amidst battlefields? Do we comprehend the weight of camera equipment, and why weren't the cameramen shot while filming above the trenches? As I have discovered, the way World War One was mediated was inaccurate; it was only how they portrayed it to appear. How something is and how it seems are two different things, but we must consider that unless we are there, we only see it through the lens of how it is framed or our preconceived ideas, which may be biased or prejudiced.

Because someone says something, we must discover their inferences: do they have a sound and logical argument, or can we merely see grounds for no argument to be formed due to a lack of substantive evidence? And how can we ever really know when we have never met people or walked in their shoes? Yet God has the full perspective; His judgments are just, and His understanding- who can fathom? He loves justice; His throne is established on righteousness and justice. Mercy, loving-kindness, and truth go before His face, yet there is perfection in His understanding because He sees in full, not as we see. He has a righteous perspective, and one day, that justice for everything will come to fruition. Adolf Hitler did not get away with anything; he didn’t just die without meeting his maker. He must give a complete account of his life, just as Putin, Trump, and the least of the least do- no one will be left unaccountable for their life. Our perspective and God’s perspective can contradict because God has the full view of every situation on earth. Consider that!

  • BENEFITS OF OBSERVATION SKILLS

How can you maximise your time in everything you do? By having clarity of purpose, you can learn every minute of the day when you have defined how each hour will be used strategically. We all have different purposes for creation, so the key observation you might be looking for could be quite different from mine. For example, an artist may use their observation skills to notice nuances in shadows and light at various times of the day. They might look for details that could improve their artistic talent and then think about how to incorporate those into their art. Isaac Newton was fascinated by the apple that dropped on his head. After much contemplation and using his observation skills, he derived the three laws of motion that explain the cause and effect created by the movement of energy and material mass.

This explains that nothing moves without material force unless there is an applied action. Sometimes, mundane parts of life, like household chores and even engaging in the Uncle Sam system, require us to sell our time to an employer for a wage. However, we know this is not the reason we were created, and yet, with intense focus, we must prioritize our observation skills using our willpower while finishing the tasks set before us. These tasks are merely intermediaries as we transition from employment to self-employment, using our skills and purpose for creation as the ultimate reason for waking each day, to add value to that gift, even in the mundanity.

First, you need to clearly define your purpose. How can you make each hour work towards that goal? For example, you might sell your hours to others in exchange for money until you have enough to work for yourself, so that your time truly becomes your own. You must develop a strategy to apply high-yielding principles that can improve your ability to serve those who benefit from your gift, which must be clearly identified. Different parts of the day can be used to maximise your potential—reading, writing, listening, and conversation are all equal components, each with its own logic that can be maximised through observation. Have you ever become an observer of yourself without judgment, simply noticing how well you engage in each activity, recognising where your strengths and weaknesses lie? Sometimes we are good at one part but weaker in others. They all have different logic.

Listening requires 110% focus. Have you ever noticed you were thinking of something else when you were meant to be listening? Therefore, the time you thought you were converting into added value has been completely wasted. Listening is a skill that can be developed to be strong, like writing or reading. When we listen, we need to shift from our own point of view to truly engage with the other person’s perspective and understand. I try to broaden my thinking. I do not dismiss information just because it comes from someone whose fundamental views oppose mine. For example, I am a lover of truth, not religion. First, we must define religion from truth. Religion is a set of rituals that someone practices, e.g., churchgoing, prayer, and reading religious texts. At the same time, all of those are good; they are simply behaviours that one does. However, all religions have other rituals, such as praying five times a day and observing the months they believe the prophet has announced as holy. Others engage in chanting or meditation. You can find many rituals attached to a belief system. Yet, many of those do not lead to the father.

Yet, when saying something profound, you can observe whether you are open-minded enough to look beyond a person's religious worldview. They may have uncovered universal truths that apply to everyone, regardless of their faith. Another point you might notice is that they are fully committed to a worldview that, just as much as we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, serves as the foundation for our entire belief system. Their thinking might start from a different perspective—one that is the first building block of their understanding of life, which is someone's worldview. There is a significant difference between the worldview of the kingdom of God and that of many traditional Christians.

The first point is that the pulpit ministry has become so exalted that Sunday tradition has turned into a way of life for many Christians. However, beyond gathering, the rest of their week is spent serving the Uncle Sam system to earn money and pay their bills. This has become so normalised that it would be difficult for people to see any alternative. Jesus said there are only two gods; while it is true that money answers all things and could solve every problem, money has many voices attached to it. It tells us to go here or there and can dictate where it is spent. It demands obedience, and unless we understand the laws associated with it, it will control us rather than us controlling it. Money is not meant to be spent; it is meant to be retained, multiplied, and invested.

That is why many people sell their labour for a wage. However, since many only earn enough to make ends meet, they are often trapped in a perpetual cycle of working to build someone else's vision. This is a catastrophe in light of God’s word, because to whom we give ourselves is our master. It has been subtly woven into our thinking since childhood—to go to school, get an education, join the workforce, and sell our lives to it. How can we serve God if that is our philosophy? We must discover our God-given purpose and find a way to live for that purpose instead of selling our lives to the world system. Many structures support this, including the pulpit ministry with one man who has discovered his calling and is multiplying that gift. Meanwhile, the rest of the church is held back from reclaiming all that the thief has stolen—from politics to education—because we are not walking according to the priorities and principles Jesus gave us as instructions, which are based on truth, not a set of religious rituals.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and teach them to observe all that I have taught you.” I have been observing people from different religions who do not openly declare their faith; you must listen carefully to discover it. Still, they teach principles that can change lives and even use God's word to support these principles, but they do not openly confess Jesus Christ as Lord. They have millions of followers who are being discipled by them. However, the most critical part—the foundation from which all their teachings are built—is deeply flawed and deviates from the truth. This deception is so subtle that it schools people into a worldview containing powerful principles from God's kingdom according to our original nature. Still, it ultimately leads people to permanent separation from God because the root is corrupt.

The truth is what everyone desires, but because people have been mentally conditioned by their environment, how the truth is told, even if it is in error, aligns with foreign beliefs that have entered the psyche and have persisted for many generations, shaping how they see the world. Still, we must recognise that this is a lie, and while we sit in churches every week for our spiritual fix to solve our problems, countless others will be separated from God because we did not follow the instructions of grace and truth that Jesus left for us. You alone are created from something that I do not have the same capacity for because of your unique path of preparation and God's design for your life. The light is created for darkness; it is the only thing that will uproot and remove every voice that opposes Jesus as God. Unless you manifest that in the world, nothing can change, and a whole people group that God created you for will perish, for which we are answerable.

We focus too much on the wrong things, like church attendance, giving your tithe, and pastors want their followers to be faithful because of this. But actually, the one who should be our master of our finances, our way of life, and everything we do is the captain of our faith, Jesus Christ. We were created for a calling in the world; that’s how our Monday to Friday lives should be lived in accordance with His will. If we don’t make His will our priority, it will always come second to our work. We need to live our lives to the fullest by following God's ways laid out in truthful principles. The key to this is in observing. In the Cambridge dictionary, observing means watching carefully how something happens or how someone does something, especially to learn more about it. We need to reflect on what Jesus means by observing everything He has taught us.
BENEFITS OF OBSERVATION SKILLS How can you maximise your time in everything you do? • Let me share this here.

If this incident that happened a few hours ago.

    I wasn’t supposed to stop.

    But I did.

There was chaos just ahead of the supermarket gate somewhere in Surulere.

A black Toyota Corolla was surrounded by three LASTMA officials.

The driver, mid-40s, shirt soaked in sweat, kept pacing between them.

And something in his voice stopped me.

"Please. Please just look inside the car. He is not even moving anymore. That’s my son. He is sick, he is very sick. We were going to the hospital. I only stepped in to grab his medication. I was gone for just five minutes."

One of the officials shook his head like he’d heard it a thousand times.

"You people always have stories. Why park where you're not supposed to? You want us to lose our job?"

    Another officer barked.

"Oga, if you don’t bring ₦70,000 now, this car is going to the yard. And from there? You’ll need close to ₦400,000 to bail it."

The man reached out. Not to touch them. Just to plead.
They stepped back like he carried something contagious.

"I swear I’m not lying. Please. He has severe asthma. I forgot the nebulizer at home. I was rushing to the hospital, Faithview, just ten minutes from here. Look at him! You have a child, right? Please, have sympathy."

    That was when I looked.

The boy, maybe ten, was in the backseat, his small frame slumped against the door, eyes half-closed. His chest heaved in rapid spasms, every breath sounding like gravel grinding in a pipe.

His fingers trembled. His lips were turning dark.

    So I stepped forward.

    "What’s wrong with him?"

The father looked at me, disoriented.

"Asthma. It started an hour ago. He had a mild attack in the morning, but it’s worsening fast. I was going to get him treated and just stopped for a refill. Please, sir… help me talk to them."

I tried to talk to the LASTMA officers but they ignored me so I turned back to the man.

"Try and sort this with them, let me take him to the hospital."

    His eyes widened.

    "You…?”

"We don't have another option and there is no time. He needs oxygen. Now.”

    He hesitated.

    "You’re a stranger."

"I am. But your son is dying.”

He looked back at the boy.

    Then at me.

He obviously saw that there was no other option left.

    His lips trembled.

    "Give me your number. Please.”

    I gave him mine.

    And he gave me his.

I opened the door and gently lifted the boy from the backseat.

He was warm. Burning. His eyes barely focused on mine.

As I placed him in my car, the father shouted behind me.

"Please, call me the moment you get there. Please don’t let anything happen to him!"

I nodded once. Then I got into the car and quickly drove off.

The hospital wasn’t crowded, I guess because it was a private one.

I rushed in carrying the boy in both arms.

"Emergency! Severe asthma attack. Ten-year-old boy!"

The receptionist stood up so fast her chair hit the wall.

    She shouted.

"Treatment Room Two! Get Doctor Okafor!"

While I tried to fill the form I was given, two nurses rushed and took the boy, placed him on the oxygen tank, connected a nebulizer, and began checking vitals.

    One of the nurses murmured.

"He’s tachypneic. Respiration over 40. Oxygen saturation 82%."

The doctor said as he rushed in still zipping his scrubs.

"Get the hydrocortisone ready. Nebulize him every 20 minutes. Keep him on oxygen. If he doesn’t stabilize, we’re moving to adrenaline injection.”

    I stood there.

    My heart pounding.

    This wasn’t my child.

But it felt like my fight.

    Minutes passed.

    Then the doctor came out.

    “He is stable."

    He said, wiping his forehead.

"That was close. He’ll be okay, but he needs to stay a few hours for monitoring.”

    I thanked him so much.

    The bill came.

    ₦89,000.

I paid with my debit card.

I stepped outside and called the boy’s father.

He picked on the first ring.

    “Hello! Sir, please, is he?"

"He is stable. He is getting oxygen and treatment.”

    A pause.

Then I heard the man begin to cry. Softly.

    I didn’t speak. I let him.

    But he wasn’t done.

“They’ve taken the car. They refused to wait. I was still begging when the towing truck came. They said the 70K grace was over. I’m at their yard in Iponri now. Sir… they’re asking for ₦385,000 to release my car.”

I looked at the hospital door behind me.

    Then at the sky.

    Then back to my car.

I didn't know what to say to him.

But all I found myself saying was.

    "I’m coming.”

    And I meant it.

    He couldn't believe his ears.

I arrived at the LASTMA office just before 3PM.

The weather was warm, no sun, but the heat stuck to my skin like wet cloth.

I found him standing by a corner fence, head down, fingers digging into his scalp.

    He was tired and confused.

So I said to him gently.

    "Sir."

He looked up like someone coming out of a bad dream. His eyes were red, his face streaked with dry sweat and tears.

    He approached me nervously.

    His voice was hoarse.

"My car… they have impounded it. Said I’ll pay ₦385,000. They even threatened to keep increasing the fine by day. That car is my only source of income. That's my office from where I make money to take care of my son and my wife. God, please, help me."

    I told him.

"Stay calm. Nothing will happen to your car, you'll get it back, I believe."

    He nodded slowly.

"They have been laughing at me. One said, ‘Your son is sick? Na why you go break law? You think say we be Red Cross?’"

I felt something cold stir in my chest.

    Not rage.

    Just sadness.

    I said to him.

    "Please, come with me."

    We walked into the building.

Inside, it smelled of engine oil, sweat, and indifference.

    I approached the counter.

“Good afternoon. I’d like to speak with your superior officer. It’s regarding a car that was impounded a few hours ago, black Toyota Corolla.”

A thickset officer with bloodshot eyes looked up at me. "Eeyyaa who you be? Police or Army? Abeg everything you want to say, say it here. We don’t have time.”

    I responded calmly but firm.

"I was the one who rushed the sick boy to the hospital, I have the hospital card and bill here. He was in the back seat of that vehicle. That child would have died today if I didn’t act."

    He scoffed.

"And so? Good for him. E mean say we no go do our job?”

"No one said that but this man was in an emergency. All he asked was a few more minutes. Instead, you people want to extort him. Now you’re billing him almost ₦400,000. This isn’t traffic enforcement. It’s cruelty."

    Another officer chimed in.

"Oga, the car don enter system. Na only Oga inside go override am. And e no dey see everybody."

    "Then let him see me."

"As governor of Lagos State or as who?"

    Silence.

    I stood my ground.

    "Get your superior. I’ll wait.”

    The minutes crawled.

The father stood beside me like a child awaiting judgment.

    Fortunately, a senior officer emerged.

Bald, tall, stern. I saw his name tag.

He sized me up before he said.

    "What’s the problem?”

I stepped forward and told the story. From the moment I saw the boy wheezing in the back seat, to carrying him into the hospital, to paying the ₦89,000 hospital bill, to returning only to find the car had been towed.

The Commander listened without interruption. Then he asked a single question:

“Do you have proof the boy was sick?”

I handed him the hospital bill and the case card. He studied them for a long moment.

Then something shifted in his eyes.

He looked at the officers behind the desk.

"You towed the vehicle knowing a child was dying in it?"

"Sir, the man parked in a no-parking."

"I didn’t ask that. I asked if you knew a child was in distress in the car."

    No one answered.

    He sighed.

"Release the car. Immediately. Remove the fine. No man should suffer for saving his own son’s life. And you."

    He turned to the father.

"You’re lucky someone still has a conscience in this country. Thank this guy for stepping in."

The man fell to his knees.

"Thank you. Thank you, sir… I swear, thank you…"

When the superior left, he turned to me.

    And his voice broke.

"You didn’t know me. Yet you rushed my son to the hospital. You paid for his treatment. And now, you’re standing here fighting for me when I couldn’t even fight for myself."

I helped him to his feet.

He opened his wallet and tried to hand me some money.

"I don’t have much. Please… even if it’s part of what you spent..."

    I shook my head.

"Your son is breathing. That’s enough. Please, pick your car and go and see him. God bless you."

He looked at me, eyes trembling.

"Why? Why would you do this for me?"

I didn’t know how to answer that.

So I said the only thing I truly believed.

    "Because someone should."

As we walked out into the fading light, I handed him a folded note.

It was the hospital’s follow-up card. His son had to return in two days for further tests.

"I already booked the appointment. He’ll need more care. Don’t miss it."

He opened it slowly, then looked back at me, his lips parted, but no words came.

    Only tears.

    Only silence.

And behind us, the LASTMA officers watched.

They were quiet now. Maybe even ashamed.

But I left there happy and fulfilled.

    You could do the same.

And the world will be a better place.

The man fell to his knees. "Thank you. Thank you, sir… I swear, thank you…" When the superior left, he turned to me. And his voice broke. "You didn’t know me. Yet you rushed my son to the hospital. You paid for his treatment. And now, you’re standing here fighting for me when I couldn’t even fight for myself." I helped him to his feet. He opened his wallet and tried to hand me some money. "I don’t have much. Please… even if it’s part of what you spent..." I shook my head. "Your son is breathing. That’s enough. Please, pick your car and go and see him. God bless you." He looked at me, eyes trembling. "Why? Why would you do this for me?" I didn’t know how to answer that. So I said the only thing I truly believed. "Because someone should." As we walked out into the fading light, I handed him a folded note. It was the hospital’s follow-up card. His son had to return in two days for further tests. "I already booked the appointment. He’ll need more care. Don’t miss it." He opened it slowly, then looked back at me, his lips parted, but no words came. Only tears. Only silence. And behind us, the LASTMA officers watched. They were quiet now. Maybe even ashamed. But I left there happy and fulfilled. You could do the same. And the world will be a better place. . *Chiemelie Kyrian Offor June 17, 2025*

  • When a man truly wants you...
His actions will speak louder than any words he could say.
You won’t feel like you’re chasing him or begging for his attention, because he’ll be present, available, and consistent.
He will make time for you, no matter how busy life gets, because someone who genuinely wants you will never be "too busy."
He’ll check in on you, not out of obligation, but because he genuinely cares about your day, your feelings, and your well-being.
He’ll make you feel safe, not just physically, but emotionally. You’ll feel like you can be yourself around him without judgment.
He won’t make you feel like an option or a backup plan. Instead, he’ll choose you over and over again, with no hesitation.
You won’t be left wondering where you stand with him, because he’ll be clear about his intentions.
He’ll talk about the future and include you in it, because he sees you as a part of his life, not just for now, but for the long haul.
A man who truly wants you won’t give mixed signals or play hot and cold. He’ll be consistent, supportive, and respectful.
He’ll celebrate your victories, stand by you in your struggles, and love you for who you are, not just for what you look like or what you can offer him.
His love will feel like peace, not confusion. And when a man really wants you, you'll never have to question it, because he will make sure you know it every single day.

  • I didn’t know what I was missing until you came into my life. You never tried to win me over — you just showed up and stayed real. You listen without judgment, and even in silence, I feel understood. With you, I don’t have to perform. I just get to be myself, and that’s more comforting than anything I’ve ever known.

  • SEEDS OF DESTINY, DUNAMIS CHURCH DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

    DATE: MONDAY 30TH JUNE 2025

TOPIC: THE BENEFITS OF WAITING ON THE LORD

SCRIPTURE: In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
    Isaiah 28:5-6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is not possible to approach God and not encounter glory.

It has been established that what you expect determines what you experience. Expectation indeed determines experience; it determines manifestation.

So, today we shall be looking at four things that we should expect when we wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting.

    1. A crown of glory: It is not possible to approach God and not encounter glory. Moses waited on the Lord and the glory landed on him; there was a glory saturation on his face (Exodus 34:29). Glory is the manifest presence of God; It is the answer to shame and reproach.

    2. The diadem of beauty: God beautifies people who spend time with Him (Psalm 50:2). You cannot escape beauty when you wait on God in Zion.

    3. The spirit of judgment: When we come before God, we connect with the mantle of Judgment to deal with altars, powers of darkness and the forces of hell. It was that spirit of judgment that Elijah had in 1Kings 17:1 when he boldly declared, “Before God whom I stand…” and released judgment.

    4. Strength for the battle: Many people have been victims of spiritual warfare – family battles, ancestral battles, generational battles, etc. When you fall victim to a battle, it is because your strength is not enough (Proverbs 24:10). And you gain strength by waiting on the Lord (Isaiah 40:31).

Beloved, as you wait on the Lord, and seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13), these four expectations shall be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: It is not possible to approach God and not encounter glory.

    ASSIGNMENT (S):

    1. Take out, at least, a day in a week and wait on the Lord in prayer and fasting.

    2. Make demands on the benefits of waiting on the Lord.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to wait on You. And as I wait on You, I connect with Your glory, beauty, the spirit of judgment and supernatural strength, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

    DAILY BIBLE READING: Proverb 7-9

QUOTE: No devil can silence the voice of a man or woman who is connected to God in prayer. Culled from Principles and Power of Prayer by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: The lyrebird is known for its ability to mimic a wide range of sounds, including chainsaws and car alarms.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Grace and strength to wait upon the Lord is released upon you today in Jesus Name.

  • Oh, to be loved by a calm person — someone who communicates with care, listens without judgment, speaks in a gentle voice, and holds the kind of patience that makes you feel safe, seen and free to be your true self.
