TODAY'S WORD OF GOD: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16" It is the duty of every believer in Christ Jesus to preach the gospel of our Lord. Apostle Paul is a vivid example of a Christian who was not ashamed of the gospel. He preached the gospel, whether free or in bondage. He was stoned, beaten, shipwrecked, and imprisoned, but he never complained. He boldly declared his faith in our opening scripture. No Christian has any excuse whatsoever for not preaching the gospel; if the apostle Paul could preach in such tough circumstances, then no excuse is too good for Christ Jesus to accept. Dear beloved, are you ashamed to preach the gospel? Do you know anybody who is ashamed to preach the gospel? Jesus Christ said: *For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed.....* Luke 9:26 God Almighty will give us the grace to preach the gospel of Christ Jesus wherever we are in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It has been reported that Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, popularly known as Timileyin, a supposed “gospel artiste” from Kabba, Kogi State, allegedly beheaded his girlfriend, Eleojo Salome Adaidu, an Igala woman also from Kogi State. This horrific act underscores the need for caution and vigilance, even within religious or trusted communities. Eleojo was laid to rest yesterday amidst grief and sorrow. Disturbingly, the rise of cyber fraud (popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo) is increasingly celebrated, with some parents openly supporting their children who engage in these fraudulent activities. Many of these young men use the wealth gained from such acts to build houses and provide luxurious lifestyles for their families. However, it is crucial to note the darker side of this issue. As parents celebrate their sons’ involvement in such illicit activities, they should also pray their daughters do not fall victim to the ritual practices often associated with these crimes. A gospel singer and fitness enthusiast has been arrested after he was caught with the sev£r£d h£@d of his girlfriend. Timileyin Ajayi was apprehended on Sunday, Jan. 12, near a church in Orozo, Abuja. He was seen carrying a black nylon, with flies following him and the bag. Ajayi, said to be from Kabba in Kogi state, was searched and a fresh hum@n h£@d was seen in the bag. While being questioned by police in a video shared online, Ajayi is seen dislosing that he had dated the lady for one year, before k!lling her.
