“This was more than turbulence—it was divine mercy,” one survivor concluded. “No one would have believed it was just an accident if that plane had gone down with Peter Obi onboard. It would have thrown Nigeria into total chaos.” The incident raises fresh questions about aviation safety in the country, especially concerning commercial flights and airport systems.
