THE ARK LEGACY PROJECT:
1,500 YEARS, 400 YEARS AND 40 YEARS AFTER HAGIA SOPHIA, ST PETERS BASILICA AND OUR LADY OF PEACE BASILICA
APPARENT LESSONS LEARNT BY BISHOP OYEDEPO
Funding and Doctrine (contd from Part 1):
Bishop Oyedepo has ensured that the Ark project didn't affect any other project in the Church. Notably, the Kingdom Care as well as Transport Schemes were initiated or re-introduced to cater primarily for challenged members of the Church. Also no offering whatsoever is raised in services with regards to the Ark project whether in Canaanland or any branch/parish since inception. I believe that this has never happened for a project anywhere close to this in the history of Christianity. No special offerings, no special group of sponsors, no nothing, yet on a personal note, my biggest givings towards any building project in my life by plain conviction has been towards the Ark project yet I am not 'begging for factory" as so many haters of the Church pretending to love the poor do on social media..
In fact whenever the mention of the Ark is made in church, it's always as a testimony or a point of thanksgiving. Prayers of thanksgiving for the Ark commenced on 17th March 2025.
It has been said that if not that the project is so close to Faith Tabernacle and too big to ignore, nobody would have known that such a gargantuan project was going on. Bishop Oyedepo's mantra remains Matthew 6:33...Seek ye first the Kingdom.... and all these things (that others are dying to get) shall be added..." Thus focusing on soul winning and not fundraising throughout the period of the mega project. He has rather emphasized reaching souls, bringing them to Church and nurturing them to growth. By so doing, souls like the harvest are preserved and the role of the Church as the Barn for harvested souls from the vineyard is maintained. There have been many instances of newly won converts including children bringing in more souls such as members of their families and loved ones to be nurtured by the Word.
Many may ask, how then is the Ark being funded? The answer lies in the first example of the Tabernacle of Moses-Spirit led sacrificial giving. As far as I can remember, during Shiloh 2015, Faith Theatre (as the Ark was then called) was introduced to the Church. It was announced that the annual Shiloh sacrifice of that year would go towards the Ark, the announcement was made again at Shiloh 2023. Personally I disregarded the quietness of the Church and went in search of the Ark Project account details. I succeeded after almost a year as it was eventually made public after 3 years. Never have I seen an organization which keeps project account details away from the public until the Ark project. The aim of keeping the account details away from the people was to keep the congregation away from any kind of pressure.
Oyedepo tells the story of how he and other leaders in the early days of the Church decided to stretch themselves to raise money to pay the Church rent of ₦3000 after a member who pledged suddenly disappointed and announcement could not be made in Church which would embarrass the pledger and put the whole Church under undue pressure.
The Mandate states that:
The Church members or public must never be put under any kind of pressure to give towards any kind of project. Launching and appeal funds are prohibited.
Additionally it says:
All recurrent financial obligations must be given priority over project disbursement.
It goes further to instruct:
On no account should recurrent financial obligations to staff or third parties be delayed due to project execution.
It then concludes on projects:
Effort to provide appropriate facilities shall not be allowed to hinder spiritual growth of the Church.
Today the Ark is heading towards completion with breakneck speed and noiselessly yet none except outsiders, onlookers, the gates of hell and the gates of men such as factory beggars who do not give but want to convert kingdom resources (whose God is their belly) are against the project and hide behind their keypads to type like sons of belial.
Some of the people criticizing the building of the Ark will rather spend time on TV watching football in some of the best stadia in the world then engage also in gambling. Same people will rather see football stadia and betting centres filled than the Church filled. It's not really about the growth of the Kingdom but an anti kingdom and Judas Iscariot mindset.
For these, the response is that the Church of Christ is not built to satisfy the gates of hell...and of men. That must have been why the Lord Jesus Christ Affirmed...
... And upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S HOUSE shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills: and all nations shall flow to it. Isaiah 2:2

TWELVE WAYS A GUEST SPEAKER CAN MANIFEST PRIDE AGAINST THE HOST WITHOUT KNOWING:
As a guest speaker, never do the following. It is a display of pride against your host.
1. Rejecting the Economy ticket that was given to you, insisting it must be business class. If that is their level, you can upgrade it yourself.
2. Rejecting the car, they came to pick you up with from the airport. You came to help the work, not to destroy the work.
3. Rejecting the best hotel they have in the town, insisting you must go to the nearest city to look for a better hotel. Are you not a mountain visiting pastor? See it, as you going to pray in the mountain. You know what you have in your mind when rejecting the hotel provided for you.
4. Refusing to stand when everyone is standing to receive the set man of the house to the altar. If the congregation is standing for their pastor, you should also stand. It helps the house to also accept you.
5. Disregarding the focus of the meeting. Hearing God asking you to change the focus. It is unethical to do that.
6. Walking away from the church, when you feel the set man has taken too much time on the altar. He is in charge, he should be allowed to present you to the people in whatever a way, he feels is okay. He decides to kill the meeting, don't help him to bury it. Find a way to manage it.
7. Preaching without recognizing the set man and his wife. It is not your style. But you must do it. It is the approach of all guest speakers that are well trained.
8. Using the set man to do illustrations that appear degrading. Like asking him to lift up his hands for illustration. Any other man in church can be used for that.
9. Using the church of your host to compare the one you pastor, in the area you are doing better. There is no need for that.
10. Referring to your host without his official titles. You know he is an Apostle by Ordination, you went and called him Pastor. And you kept calling him a Pastor.
11. Seating on the official chair of your host, against the seating arrangement they gave to you.
12. Refusing the honorarium they gave you, insisting that you are bigger than that money.
All of the above are elements of pride and arrogance.
If you are given to any of them repent.
Let's discuss.
Be blessed

if a man hasn’t married you, but already knows everything about your body, every curve, every weakness, every position, then it’s time to pause and reflect. You may think you're building a bond, but what you're doing is giving out something sacred without a guarantee of commitment. And the painful truth? Many men will enjoy the benefits of a wife without ever becoming a husband.
You’re giving your heart, body, and soul to someone who hasn’t given you a name, a ring, or a future. My sister, that’s not love, that’s exploitation dressed as affection. When a man has explored you fully and you’ve given your all emotionally and physically, he may begin to see no reason to pursue anything deeper. After all, what else is there to fight for?
Don’t let sweet words deceive you. If he truly loves and values you, he will protect your dignity, not exploit your vulnerability. Love is patient. Love waits. Love honors. A man who intends to marry you won’t rush you into acts meant for the covenant of marriage. Don’t settle for temporary pleasure that ends in permanent pain. Respect yourself enough to say no. Your worth is far above rubies, and the right man will see that without needing to taste it all first.

A man that has refused to arrive
A man that insists he is starting even after being miles ahead of those who have ended.
A Paul not by mouth but action.
Apostle Paul was an Apostle of the seas in a region of the world.
By grace you are an Apostle all over the Air to all the world
God's General! We celebrate your massive global impact Sir. We pray that God's anointing will continually rest upon you in greater dimensions in Jesus name.
We love you, Sir much more than we can express.
You are unique in every way and your word shows.
Every media is talking about your good works but you refuse to be distracted.
Those who insist on speaking evil end up making others glorify God in your life.
Cheers to living for God, for souls and for Heaven.
We love you Sir the way you love the Sheep
May you become aged like Paul the aged
May long life be your heritage
May we celebrate with you in 57 years from now
May your light and your eyes never go dim
As we document history for posterity, may you headline all the good news forever as Jesus tarries
We truly love you Sir and the Dunamis Family
From all of us at Church Gist.
Praise the Lord!

SO THAT WE WILL BE MANY!
Beloved brethren,
This message is not to stir enmity, but to bring balance to an unbalanced position shared by a fellow believer. When matters cross denominational lines, they must be weighed by Scripture and sound doctrine—not personal bias or emotion.
The brother in question did not speak by prophecy, and even if he had, Scripture commands us to judge all things (1 Corinthians 14:29). Neither did he rightly handle doctrine to show how the song’s lyrics contradict the gospel or biblical truth. Instead, his critique rested on three non-doctrinal points:
1. The song’s popularity and viral trend.
2. His personal view of Gaise Baba’s hairstyle and public demeanor.
3. Pastor Lawrence Oyor wearing a headband labeled “Jesus,” along with the presence of dance in the video, which he dismisses as mere “vibes.”
While these observations may reflect personal preferences, they do not amount to doctrinal error nor invalidate our faith in Christ. Corrections, if necessary, should be done in love, not with public disdain.
There is no such thing as a “gospel beat”—only a gospel message. As a psalmist, I know that while certain beats may not stir spiritual expression or suit all messages, that doesn’t mean upbeat songs lack spiritual value. The video in question was shot in church, the dancers were believers (including children and elders), and the lyrics were Christ-centered and edifying. The dance was not sensual or suggestive, and the ministers carried themselves with reverence.
If unbelievers relate to the sound, that’s not a license to reduce it to “vibes.” Rather, it’s an opportunity to teach the truth embedded in the sound now that we have their attention.
The statements made by the brother were not grounded in Scripture and lacked wise counsel. If he truly seeks to address worldliness, he must apply the same scrutiny to elements like microphones, lighting, or stage design—also “of the world” in origin. But clearly, that would be an unbiblical standard.
The spirit of his correction was more deceptive than discerning. And those who support it seem to be responding from personal taste, not Scripture.
Finally, let us not respond with insults. If we attack him for criticizing a minister we admire, are we not guilty of the same error? This is not a war over who is right, but a call to edify the Church in truth and love. Disagreements are welcome—if they are backed by sound doctrine.

WASTE OF RESOURCES WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO POVERTY.
-Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr
During the Third Service of Covenant Day Of Settlement Service, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr emphasizes that waste always leads to poverty. He further stated that no amount of income or resources can make a waster rich.
He said: “Please hear this, waste will always lead to poverty. I say this all the time, no matter how much rain falls a basket will never be full. In the same vein, no matter how much resources come, a waster will never be rich. Wealth that is wasted will naturally dissipate. And I tell you there is no amount that enters a person's hand if he's a waster he can never rise. Years ago, a family came to see me and they began to talk about the desperation of their situation. Financially, things were so hard everything was on the rocks. Debt everywhere, house was about to be taken and so forth. I began to wonder, I asked them: “Are you working? Because the first thing, you need to make sure you are labouring. “Are you working?” They said: “Oh! No! Pastor, that's not the problem.” I said: “What's the problem?” And the wife told me: “My husband? This is what he is earning. Me, this is what I'm earning.” Church Gist. The amount of money the two of them were earning was so ridiculous. So much money was entering but waste was taking it away. As a result of that, they were entering into penury in spite of supply. God's own is to open up Heaven and pour out a blessing but if the man who is collecting the blessing is a basket, he will never be full. That's the reality! He said: “If you pay your tithe, I will open the Heaven, I'll pour out a blessing that you will have no room again to receive it.” But if it's a basket with plenty holes for waste then the rain will keep falling and the blessing will keep wasting. That will not be anybody's experience here!”WASTE OF RESOURCES WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO POVERTY. -Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr During the Third Service of Covenant Day Of Settlement Service, Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr emphasizes that waste always leads to poverty. WHAT ARE YOU DOING PLAITING YOUR HAIR OR PUTTING ON EARRINGS AS A MAN?
BEHAVE CULTURALLY, EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW SCRIPTURES.
- Bishop David Abioye
While preaching at the Anointing To Reign Service, Bishop Abioye encouraged young men to recognize their royalty in Christ and avoid appearing like 'street boys'.
He said, "Kings are recognized for royalty, mentally and physically. Royalty! Stop behaving like a street boy. Royalty, including your appearance, don't dress carelessly. Royalty is synonymous with kingship. Carry yourself in a manner that when people see you in public, they see something unique about you. Don't look like a rogue. Even in the system of the World, you don't see people in position dress anyhow. Church Gist. Put earrings as a man, what are you doing with it? Plaiting your hair as a man, what are you doing with it? I know many young people won't like what I'm saying, but I have to show it to you from Scriptures and from culture. Even if you don't know Scriptures, behave culturally. What is fitting, is fitting. Why would you like to be like a woman, when He created you like a man? Why aren't you satisfied with the way God made you? Royalty reflects spiritually, mentally and physically. Behave it, act it, look it!"WHAT ARE YOU DOING PLAITING YOUR HAIR OR PUTTING ON EARRINGS AS A MAN?
