Adversity is not the biggest threat to your vision it is distraction. When we overcome adversity and "succeed" we think we have overcome the biggest obstacle. The real one is around the corner and very subtle. It is called distraction. Now you have visibility, resources, name recognition and this opens up new possibilities and opportunities.
Don't over compensate yourself and let no one lure you into "work" that is not yours. Learn to say no and follow your deepest convictions. Many doors will be opened only walk through the ones God instructed you to. Fornication not sin in my religion – Falz insists
Rapper and singer, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has maintained that fornication is not a sin in his religion.
DAILY POST recalls that the music star recently sparked a debate after claiming in a post on X that fornication isn’t sin.
Christian and Muslim faithful challenged the singer’s claim, quoting various scriptures under his post.
Addressing the controversy in a recent interview with Arise TV, Falz insisted that fornication isn’t sin in his religion, stressing that he practices a religion called “love.”
He clarified that he is no longer a Christian.
He said, “I think people would read the tweet and just assume that I meant according to Christianity.
“I wasn’t really speaking from that perspective. I practice the religion of love. Under that religion, I don’t think fornication is a sin.
“Because I looked at it, I strictly addressed the issue: Why are we not allowed to engage in this premarital intercourse? What is the issue? Who does it offend?
“These are not married people. These are two unmarried people. Willingly. Consensually. Personally, I don’t think there is a problem there.

Stop calling my child Duduke – Simi warns
Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi, has urged the public to desist from calling her daughter, Adejare, “Duduke.”
DAILY POST recalls that Simi released a song titled ‘Duduke’ in anticipation of the birth of her child in 2020.
Consequently, when she and her husband, fellow singer Adekunle Gold, welcomed their first child named Adejare in June 2020, some fans started calling their daughter ‘Duduke’ after the popular hit song.
In a recent conversation with VJ Adams, Simi explained that she doesn’t appreciate people calling her child Duduke, stressing that it doesn’t have a meaning.
According to her, ‘Duduke’ was just an onomatopoeia she used in the song to express how her baby makes her heart beat.
She said, “People call my daughter Duduke, which I don’t like. That’s not her name. It doesn’t even mean anything. Had it meant something good, I would have allowed it. But it’s just a beat, duduke, duduke. That was what I meant. My heart beats like a drum.
“Stop calling my child Duduke [laughs]. But you know what? I used to be womanizer – Actor Daniel Etim-Effiong
Popular Nollywood actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong, has revealed that he used to be a womanizer at some point in his life, but added that it was brief.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the engineer-turned-actor recalled “exploring” with multiple women at the same time. He described the experience as a learning process.
He said he often advised young people to shun womanizing because it can affect their relationships and marriages in the future, stressing that it might prove difficult to quit.
Chude asked: “Were you a womanizer before you got married?”
Etim-Effiong replied: “It depends on what is your definition of a womanizer.”
Chude inferred: “A man who dates multiple women at the same time.”
Etim-Effiong: “Maybe there was a time in my life I was. Definitions would differ, but in that definition, maybe there was a period in my life that I was, I wouldn’t say for long periods of my life. Maybe for some certain periods that I explored. So, perhaps.”
Chude asked: “Was it good periods?”
Etim-Effiong replied: “Yes, they were periods of learning for me. If I learned, then they were good periods.”
Chude asked: “What did you learn?”
Etim-Effiong replied: “I learned that certain things don’t necessarily bring you the fulfilment that you think they would. On paper, it feels like that is the life, but in experientially maybe not.
“I tell young people a lot that it is cool to be a player but if you develop that habit or lifestyle, you won’t automatically change overnight.
“So, don’t develop something you don’t want to continue for the rest of your life. If you are not able to commit to one person, if you jump from one relationship to another, that won’t automatically change when you marry.
“When you marry that muscle hasn’t been developed so you encounter one challenge and you want to immediately jump or you just be like, ‘I’m talking to you, you are not listening to me, let me find somebody that would listen to me.’
“If you are the kind of person that before you got married it was easy for you to just walk away, keep different relationships, keep ladies on the string, that won’t change when you get married.”I used to be womanizer – Actor Daniel Etim-Effiong Popular Nollywood actor, Daniel Etim-Effiong, has revealed that he used to be a womanizer at some point in his life, but added that it was brief. Men of God selling anointing oil, miracle water are herbalists – Pastor Giwa
The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has lashed out at men of God who sell anointed oil and water to their followers.
Pastor Giwa said any man of God selling anointing oil and water to his followers is a herbalist.
Addressing his members at his church in Akure, Ondo State, Pastor Giwa insisted that there is no biblical reference of Jesus Christ selling anointing oil or water in his days.
He noted that the Bible has no record of Jesus disciples or apostles selling handkerchiefs, holy water or anointing oil in exchange for miracles.
According to Pastor Giwa: “What can the devil give to anybody that he won’t retrieve? I want to categorize ministers of God who are selling anointing oil and water as herbalist (witch doctors).
“Any man of God that sells oil and water with the claim that if you use it, your business will boom, such people are witch doctors.
“Jesus never sold any holy water or anointing oil to anybody. There have been no records of the disciples or apostles selling handkerchief, holy water, anointing oil in exchange for any miracle or healing. Therefore, any pastor selling anointing oil is an herbalist.”
The clergy man also noted that spending 24 hours in church does not make anybody a believer.
He insisted that a true believer is known from his character and utterances.
“Spending 24 hours in the church does not make you a believer, but what you do is what will distinguish you. Your utterances and what comes out of you is what makes you a believer.
“Character distinguishes believers from others by reflecting Christ’s attributes and values in their lives,” he added.Men of God selling anointing oil, miracle water are herbalists – Pastor Giwa The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has lashed out at men of God who sell anointed oil and water to their followers.
