• Life is brutally unfair to Nigeria Police Force officers!
The Super Falcons won WAFCON, trained for 1 year, and played for 1 month, and they were rewarded with $100,000 (N150 million) each and houses!

Police officers protected them for decades, worked 35 years, and retired with $1,500 (N2 million as gratuity), no houses, no medicals, and a little pension!

The President or the Governor handed the awards? $1 BILLION in gratuity, lifetime pension, homes everywhere, and full medical!

  • *Olusegun Ogundipe*'s answer to Dele Farotimi's post concerning changing of Charly boy bus stop on face book.
    👇🏾👇🏾

Whoever cares can drag the entire Yoruba and summon our ancestors to join in the dragging. We remain indifferent. They have called us cowards, tribalists, and lazy, and we have kept silent. Now, they claim to have developed our states and territories. They boast that they have bought every piece of land because we are loafers. My brother, your kind of liberalism has expired in Nigeria's march toward nationhood. The Yoruba have distanced themselves and reevaluated our roles in the Nigerian project. The time has come when we must establish clear principles and relationships within the federation.

"Answer the fool according to his folly," as the Bible advises. We are Yoruba, and the weapons of our warfare are not limited to guns and cutlasses. There are two types of Yoruba: Omo Alade and Omo Ekun. We are either from royal families or descendants of warriors. No one should feed us; we know how to feed ourselves. If Yoruba has tolerated all the nonsense and arrogance of the Igbo, in particular, it is not out of fear of war or violence. It is because we understand that the cost of peace is cheaper than the cost of war.

This is one of the reasons we open our doors for friendship, love, and freedom. We believe the Nigeria project is possible, and we have demonstrated our willingness to cooperate and achieve those goals. However, the irritant race thought our simplicity equated to stupidity. Now, we intend to show them otherwise.

Changing street names is just the beginning. Next, all non-Yoruba employees in the civil and teaching services in the Southwest must return to their states of origin. All Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) held by non-Yoruba in all Southwest states must be converted to certificates of leasing. We want to prove some points, and we are serious about it.

Other ethnic nationalities are at liberty to reciprocate and send non indigenes away from their civil or teaching services. That is ok and should be the beginning of a comprehensive restructuring we all anticipated. There is no statute book that mandates only the Yoruba to be reasonable and tolerant. Let all of us adopt the attitude of if-it-will-scatter-let-it-be.

Tolerance is not a substitute for the destruction of our collective identity. Those who want Project Nigeria to succeed must submit to the rules of the game. We cannot sacrifice our identity for Nigeria and other ethnic groups turn around to make mockery of our children tomorrow.

  • “Estuary Power has launched a 185 MW solar and 400 MWh Tesla Megapack battery project in Lincoln County, Nevada.”

    Cost? The $98 million

This can be planted in every state, especially in Northern Nigeria with flat lands and sunlight from 7am to 6pm

    But we prefer “cargo” airport

  • Mr. President, I have been shouting this from the rooftops until my voice is nearly gone! Football—and sports in general—unites this nation like nothing else. Here is a winning strategy sir: Establish football academies in every state, with private-sector partnerships. Nigeria will become a talent factory, producing world-class players for export. Come tournament time, we will always have an overflow of elite players to choose from—leading to consistent victories and national pride. The economic benefits? Massive. Revenue will pour in from transfers, sponsorships, and global recognition. This isn’t complicated, sir—it’s a guaranteed win. Let’s make it happen sir! Just imagine the joy winning footbal competitions like the latest WAFCON generates! It’s not rocket science sir. Let’s do it!

  • “I adore DON JAZZY Honestly, I do — there’s no one like him. But when I heard him say he can’t be sexu@lly committed to just one woman, I couldn’t keep quiet.

For me, it all comes down to the kind of women our men choose. A lot of men in Nigeria, let’s be real, don’t d@te for substance. They date for what they see — hips, waist, face — all the packaging. Then later, they’re bored or tempted by the next “better package” because they didn’t choose what really matters: the mind, the substance, the values.

If I get to sit with Don Jazzy today, I’ll tell him straight: Try a different type of woman. Try dating for depth, not just phys!que. You might just find the commitment you think you can’t handle.

Sometimes we need to stop blaming our “nature” and start checking our choices.

Love you all — and Don Baba J, if you see this, no vex oh! It’s all love from Uriel. “ —BBNAIJA Star URIEL OPUTA

  • Malawians expressed their disappointment with Patricia Jiya Okafor, mother of Chioma Okafor, for allowing her daughter to play for Nigeria instead of Malawi. However, Patricia told bolanews.co the decision was solely Chioma’s.

“It’s not me; it was her choice. Nigeria wrote a letter; I didn’t have any say; it was her choice. I told her to choose so that she would not regret it in the future, so it came from her.”

Chioma was born in Malawi to a Malawian mother and a Nigerian father. She began her football career in Malawi and trained with the Malawi national team in 2015 but never featured for the Scorchers.

In February, she shared a video clarifying in Chichewa language that she is Malawian after some fans questioned her nationality because of her name.
