WHO recommends 1:600 doctor-patient ratio; Nigeria is closer to 1:5,000 the government acts as though there is a surplus. The young doctors don’t even listen to our begging again to even stay a little while in Nigeria. Their bags are already on their way to the airport The few ones we managed to beg to do residency are only staying to get enough money to do the foreign exams So President Tinubu I don’t know who is advising you oo , Listen to NMA and revive the medical system. Yes it will cost you an arm and a leg and your heart but Nigeria health system once reviewed can serve Africa because Nigerian doctors all over the world are amongst the best, Our medical system is in a sorry state.
