• Dear Parents,

    There are things that parents do that makes me wonder if they know the implications. In my teaching career, I've come to realize that children who are well brought up produce better results.

    What I see these days is training the "butty" (aje butter) way which gets me scared of what will happen in the next 10-15 years.

    I see eight year olds who don't bother to lay their beds.

    I see 10 year olds served by the maid or "caring mum" on the table and they either don't pack the table or they just dump the plates in the kitchen for the maid or "caring mum".

    Drivers carry the bags of
    children above 5 years and the children call them "my driver".

    Manual cloth washing is
    gradually been replaced by
    washing machines yet the maid or "caring mum" will be the one to do the laundry.

    Children wake up and go straight to the TV and sleep late watching TV with mum and dad but mum and dad don't allow them read late.
    They'll say "go and sleep".

    I see parents play game for
    hours on their phones yet
    wonder why their children don't read and why their results are poor despite investment in expensive schools.

    I see tweenagers and teenagers who can't cook common white rice because there's maid, nanny, cook, "caring mum" etc.

    I see children who are addicted to cheating in exams, assignments, class work and the parents aren't taking conscious steps to correct it, instead some will bribe teachers to make their children first, teach them during external exams or take them to "miracle centres" to write their exams.

    I see children who talk to their parents and other adults disrespectfully and all parents say is "children of nowadays are outspoken".

    Your children's wardrobe is full of clothes but they don't have a single book.

    You buy them lots of toys but you didn't buy them books.

    I can go on and on.

    See, when next you tell your
    child not to do house chores,
    study hard, etc, have it at the back of your mind that what you're saying is "don't take responsibility for your life".

    I guess parents don't know that chores and morals are almost directly proportional to academic performance.

    Haven't you thought of it that when our forefathers went to farm, fetched water, etc, before or after school, the world was a better place?

    Haven't you thought of it that our local proverbs which have remained relevant were coined by unlettered men and women?

    A Hausa proverb says, "Ka so naka, duniya ta 'ki shi..." favour your son and the world will reject him..." (vice-versa).

    A Yoruba proverb also says, "eni a nwo ki wooran"... "those who make news don't watch news".

    So when you're mentoring your children to be T.V. addicts you should understand what you're
    grooming them to be.

    There are TWO PAINS in life and everyone must suffer one; *PAIN OF DISCIPLINE* or *PAIN OF REGRET*.

    When you're preventing your
    children from going through *pain of discipline*, just understand that you're automatically preparing them for *pain of regret*.

    Some parents feel that their
    children's careers are secured because of their financial stand.

    Now, let's do this analysis:
    1. You get your children a job.

    2. You make them take over your company.

    3. You set up a business for
    them.

    1. If you get them a job and they have the wrong attitude at work like being late, talking rudely to clients, etc, which made the company lose a big contract, will they keep them there?

    2. They take over your company and your company lost within three months an amount that you didn't make in your first five years in business due to their lack of discipline, will you pat them on the head and say I'm proud of you child?

    3. They run the business shabbily and there's nothing to show for it within few years.

    The earlier we stopped these
    pampering the better. You will give an account to God for them.

    Train your child in the way he
    should go and when he is old, he won't depart from it.

    MESSAGE
    When you pray in an unknown tongue (which is referred to as the prayer language,) several things are being engaged at the same time.

    You are dealing with the unknown realms. You are dealing with unknown powers resisting your life and destiny in the spirit world so as to receive all your blessings that are hidden from you.

    When you are facing mysterious issues, engage the Holy Spirit to help you deal with them by deliberately worshipping and praying in tongues. And if the problem persists, you need to trust God for an untiring grace and the ability to persevere in the prayer language until victory is won and the coast cleared.

    The easiest way to deal with faceless powers who depend on your ignorance to outsmart you is by engaging the Holy Spirit to help you use the prayer language.

    When we pray in an unknown tongue, we are attempting to use the mysterious department of the Holy Spirit to deal with the mysteries of darkness fighting us.

    *Mysteries are required to demystify mysteries.*

    As there are dark mysteries causing miseries in men's lives, so also there are also mysteries of godliness required to end dark mysteries.

    *It is an established fact that the problems of men remain problematic for as long as they remain mysterious.*

    *However, the things that are mysterious to us are not mysterious to the Holy Spirit.*

    This is why we need the prayer language to help us navigate our ways through the dark terrains until the coast is cleared.

    Consider this counsel and may the Lord guide you continually.
    1. Pray often, pray daily in tongues to edify your spirit, man.
    2. Pay attention to your spirit whilst you pray.
    3. Watch out for visions and images forming in your mind or in your spirit as you pray.
    4. Take note of the scriptures that drop in your heart or spirit as you pray.
    5. Write down instructions, ideas, nudges, and impressions.

    We need the unknown to connect to the unknown. We fetch the unknown with the unknown, and we finish the unknown with the unknown. This is the principle of depending on the Holy Spirit in praying with the unknown tongue.

    God's Word says; "Call upon me and I will answer and show you great and mighty things which you know not." (Jeremiah 33:3;)

    The things that are unknown to us are far more than the things we know.

    Our richest blessings are largely unknown to us. 1Cor 2:9;
    Our real enemies are unknown to us. Ephesians 6:10-12;

    Therefore, praying in an unknown tongue is the real deal because you are dealing with the best and the worst things about your life.
    Whether you win or lose is largely dependent on your ability to pray through the spirit realm.

    Thank God for giving us the Holy Spirit to help us win invisible battles.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Keep a tight relationship with God through His Holy Spirit.
    2. Build up your most holy faith, praying always in the Holy Spirit.
    3. Pray for spiritual understanding of the ways of the Holy Spirit.

    *Praying in the Spirit is connecting with the Holy Spirit to take delivery of all our redemptive packages in God.*

    MESSAGE
    One of the initial evidences of being filled with the Holy Spirit is the prayer language which is popularly known as speaking in tongues or praying in the Spirit. The energy imparted by the Holy Spirit through this gift is awesome, as it helps us connect with God in prayers and worship. It spiritually refreshes, edifies and comforts beyond words. It is amazing how you can be strengthened to pray for hours without being tired when you are online with God through the prayer language.

    The spiritual benefits of praying in tongues are simply amazing and wonderful.
    Whenever we pray in the Spirit, we pray accurately because we are praying from the Spirit's stand, hence the prayer points come directly from the Spirit Himself, making it impossible for you to pray amiss.
    When we pray in the Spirit, we connect faster to the realm of God to receive all that belongs to us in God.
    The Bible puts it this way:
    1 Corinthians 2:9-12
    "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
    But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
    For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
    Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."

    It is also interesting to note that the benefits of praying in tongues is not only limited to the spirit alone, it also has an amazing physical health benefits as well.

    A medical doctor of high repute, both in his field and in the Christian faith, from ORAL ROBERT UNIVERSITY made a very startling and amazing discovery of what happens when we use the "Prayer language" popularly known as "speaking with other tongues".
    Being a Neurologist, he discovered while conducting a research on the relationship between the brain and praying or speaking in tongues. His discovery was that; whenever we worship or pray in the Spirit, the brain releases two chemical secretions that are directed into our immune system. This promotes healing within our bodies. Amazingly, this secretion is triggered from a part of the brain that has no other apparent activity in human being and is only activated by our spirit led prayer and worship.

    This brings to mind the scriptures which says; we were made by the power of the Holy Spirit in creation. And the one who made us also knows how we were wired and what we need to function optimally. It is so soothing and encouraging that spiritual exercise also brings physical, bodily refreshing and rejuvenation. So whenever you are fatigued spiritually, mentally,emotionally and physically, learn to come to the Lord in prayer and worship for our complete package of spirit soul and body refreshment and restoration. Little wonder the Lord Jesus said, "come unto me, all you that Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

    *Hence forth, consciously involve yourself in praying in the Spirit with the intension to connect with the Holy Spirit to enable you take full delivery of your redemptive packages in God.*

    May you find rest on every side as you worship and pray in the Spirit henceforth in Jesus name. Shalom.

    1. Spend time to pray and worship in the Spirit for at least 10minutes before rushing to work today.
    2. Plan to spend at least one hour daily praying in tongues to sensitise and edify yourself.
    3. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you spiritually.

It is amazing how you can be strengthened to pray for hours without being tired when you are online with God through the prayer language. The spiritual benefits of praying in tongues are simply amazing and wonderful. Whenever we pray in the Spirit, we pray accurately because we are praying from the Spirit's stand, hence the prayer points come directly from the Spirit Himself, making it impossible for you to pray amiss. When we pray in the Spirit, we connect faster to the realm of God to receive all that belongs to us in God. The Bible puts it this way: 1 Corinthians 2:9-12 "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." It is also interesting to note that the benefits of praying in tongues is not only limited to the spirit alone, it also has an amazing physical health benefits as well. A medical doctor of high repute, both in his field and in the Christian faith, from ORAL ROBERT UNIVERSITY made a very startling and amazing discovery of what happens when we use the "Prayer language" popularly known as "speaking with other tongues". Being a Neurologist, he discovered while conducting a research on the relationship between the brain and praying or speaking in tongues. His discovery was that; whenever we worship or pray in the Spirit, the brain releases two chemical secretions that are directed into our immune system. This promotes healing within our bodies. Amazingly, this secretion is triggered from a part of the brain that has no other apparent activity in human being and is only activated by our spirit led prayer and worship. This brings to mind the scriptures which says; we were made by the power of the Holy Spirit in creation. And the one who made us also knows how we were wired and what we need to function optimally. It is so soothing and encouraging that spiritual exercise also brings physical, bodily refreshing and rejuvenation. So whenever you are fatigued spiritually, mentally,emotionally and physically, learn to come to the Lord in prayer and worship for our complete package of spirit soul and body refreshment and restoration. Little wonder the Lord Jesus said, "come unto me, all you that Labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." *Hence forth, consciously involve yourself in praying in the Spirit with the intension to connect with the Holy Spirit to enable you take full delivery of your redemptive packages in God.* May you find rest on every side as you worship and pray in the Spirit henceforth in Jesus name.     MESSAGE
    This new millennium is already twenty-five years old.

    Today is the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the twenty-fifth year of this millennium. I hope this strikes a chord in you.

    There are no meaningless details in scriptures. The flood that carried Noah and his family began on the seventeenth day of a certain month and also brought the same ark to it's resting place for a new beginning on the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the year. This couldn't have been a coincidence.

    Today is the anniversary of DIVINE REST for you and your family in Jesus' name.

    We need to pay attention to the voice of this season as it unfolds and unwinds itself before our very eyes.

    The ark of Noah found its resting place upon the mountains of Ararat on the seventeenth day of the seventh month of the year. That is significant because that date has come around before us again today.

    Therefore, as a prophet, I declare your own season of REST upon the mountains of your significance in destiny in Jesus' name.

    In the seventeenth book of the Bible, the divine page opened upon the life of an innocent slave girl in diaspora, and she rose from being a nonentity to notoriety. At the same time, a wicked man rose in the same kingdom. Hamman rose with an evil agenda to destroy the people of covenant. But by divine intervention, Esther, through prayers and fasting in submission to authority, overthrew the Dominion of evil and their sponsors.

    Mordecai was brought into power in the place of the wicked Hamman.
    Therefore, the seventeenth season is a season of the RISE OF POWERS. But it's the time to overthrow evil Dominion and enthrone the people of covenant to power. It is a time of open reward for every secret Labours in the past.

    Every consecration of the past will produce a crown upon the head of the righteous.

    It is a season of sudden announcements of overdue promotions. At the same time, it is a season of great temptation for God's people; but through prayers and fasting, God shall raise up a MIGHTY horn of deliverance for us in the land.

    Therefore beloved, I suggest you take out time to pray and to fast today in order for you to be sensitive to the voice of the season; and to consequently lay hold on the promises of God for this season.

    May the blessings of this season come now upon you and your family in Jesus' name.

    Being a father is not just about biology — it’s about responsibility. Anyone can father a child, but it takes commitment, sacrifice, and intentional presence to truly be a Dad.

    Here’s what responsible fatherhood really looks like:

    1. Fatherhood Is Not Fertility

    Getting a woman pregnant is fertility. Fatherhood begins when you step into the responsibility of raising, loving, and guiding that child. Being a sperm donor is biology — being a father is purpose.

    2. You’re Your Son’s First Hero & Your Daughter’s First Love

    The way you show up in your child's life will shape their confidence, identity, and how they relate with others. Be present, intentional, and nurturing.

    3. A Father Is a Protector

    Children feel safer when Dad is around. Your presence builds security. Your voice brings comfort. Your discipline gives direction. Don’t be absent — be involved.

    4. Fatherhood Is Sacrifice

    It means saying no to some things so you can say yes to your children. Sacrificing personal pleasure, ego, and sometimes comfort — for your children’s future.

    5. Fatherhood Is Service, Not Privilege

    True fatherhood means:

    Loving unconditionally

    Providing diligently

    Guiding spiritually

    8. Be a Teacher and Value-Giver

    Instill godly values. Teach integrity, respect, and hard work. Model love in your home. Your children are watching and learning from you.

    9. Raise Them in the Way of the Lord

    Scripture says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

    Let Christ be the foundation of your parenting.

    Some people say, “Ah, this is how my family is. My dad was this way, he's dad, so I'm just like him.”
    No. You are the one that should break that chain.
    And you can control it — because if you are a Christian, the Spirit of God will help you to have self-control.

    > “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.”

    If you give in to your emotions and you just vent, God says that's acting 'foolishly'

    The Bible is full of verses that warn us against wrath and anger.
    It's so serious about it that it actually warns us not to be friends with someone like that.

    Proverbs 22:24
    > “Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man.”

    If you are a real Christian, you are a new creation and God's Spirit is in you.
    And yes, as a new Christian, you are now a baby in Christ.
    So you still need to learn how to act in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

    You need to put on that — it's like a switch that you decide:
    "No, I'm not going to give in to emotions. I'm going to live in the Spirit.
    What would Jesus do in this situation?"
    If you walk in the Spirit, you will have self-control in every aspect of your life.

    > “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

    *Go into this week with that consciousness of self-control. No venting, no retaliation, no burst out of anger. Just love, joy and happiness flowing through you*.

    *MESSAGE:*

    A true helpmeet stays with her husband through thick and thin; she doesn’t shy away when things are tough. I have been married for 57 years, and sometimes, it feels like my wife and I are still on honeymoon. I was the poorest among those wooing her before we got married, but I told her that if she married me, everything I would ever have and become would be hers. When we first got married, during our meals, we would playfully struggle over one piece of ponmo, but today, even if we want to eat a whole cow, we can do so because God has truly blessed us.

    When things are tough, a true helpmeet encourages her husband; she supports him without making him feel less about himself. She does not help him and then turn around to say, “You see what I did for you? Now you owe me so and so." It is a thing of joy for a true helpmeet to see opportunities to help her husband and then go ahead to help.

    A helpmeet indeed is known during times when her husband is going through challenges. Years ago, I decided to fast because I was facing some serious challenges. I fasted for 40 days and nights, and because my wife knew that it wouldn't be easy for me to concentrate on my fast if she didn't join me, she fasted as well. After fasting and praying for 40 days and nights, the challenges remained, so I decided to go on another fast for 40 days and nights. Again, she joined in the fast. After the second round of fasting, the challenges remained, so I decided to go again. This time, I planned to fast until God answered me. I didn't want my wife to go all the way with me, so we agreed that if after 40 days, the challenge remained, I would continue fasting, and she would stop. After 40 days and nights elapsed, she refused to stop. When I saw that she wasn't going to stop, I told God, "I cannot bear to lose my wife. Whenever You want, You can solve this problem, but I have to stop fasting now." She only stopped fasting when I stopped, and of course, God proved Himself faithful.

    If you are a married woman, try as much as God helps you to help your husband resolve his challenges. A true helpmeet is her husband's greatest ally, not his greatest headache in the midst of life's challenges.

  • 10 WAYS TO AVOID CHEATING ON YOUR PARTNER

    Over the past week, issues about cheating has been on discus. People are discussing and arguing about the best way to treat their cheating partners. Some said, to divorce, others said, to cheat back and some are of the opinion that forgiveness is the best option.

    There's a saying that, "Prevention is better and cheaper than cure". So, it's better to avoid and prevent cheating on your partner than to start looking for a way to handle cheating.

    Many people have cheated on their partners unintentionally. They don't want to cheat but they fell into it unintentionally because they were careless and failed to be on the lookout.

    1. Decide That You Will Not Cheat

    Until you decide to do or not do something, you haven't started. Decision is the starting point of all achievements. Without decision nothing can be done. So, you must make this decision.

    Even before you marry, you will have to make this decision that you are not going to cheat on your partner no matter what. Daniel in the land of Babylon purposed in his heart, he decided that he won't defile himself with the king's food. So, you too must decide not to cheat on your partner(Daniel 1:8).

    2. Shut Your Eyes

    After you got married or entered a relationship, you will keep seeing people more beautiful, handsome, richer, endowed and romantic than your partner and if your eyes are still open, the chances are high that you will cheat.

    As a guy, shut your eyes against any other lady than your woman. As a lady, shut your eyes off every other man. King David saw a man's wife bathing and he lost all his senses. He slept with the woman and even kill the woman's husband! Close your eyes and look away(see 2 Sam 11:1-12; Job 31:1)

    3. Avoid Sharing Your Problems With The Opposite Sex For Pity And Sympathy.

    When I was in the village, there was this woman that was an expert in sharing her problems with the aim of securing pity and sympathy from people and as well as cash. Whenever you see her, expect one complain or another.

    So, avoid sharing your problems with others especially the opposite sex for pity or sympathy. If it's not solution you're looking for, avoid the sharing stuff. Problems have a way of bonding people. You will become emotionally entangled.

    4. Avoid Too Much Play With The Opposite Sex

    Cheating doesn't just happen, it starts little by little. Little play here and little play with the opposite sex and before you know it, emotions are developing to the point it becomes uncontrollable.

    Playing with the opposite sex while you're married or have a partner that you are in a relationship with is like when a lion and a goat is playing. You know what that means. Oga, that girl that whenever you see her, chemical reaction begins to take place in your body, the early you avoid her the better, the same is applicable to you, madam. You can't walk on fire and won't get burnt!

    5. Limit Communication With The Opposite Sex

    Communication is the blood of relationship, without communication relationship suffers. Communication fosters intimacy and understanding in a relationship. It keeps the fire burning.

    So, limit communication with the opposite sex. When you don't have something really important to discus, avoid all those unnecessary discussions. It will lead to something else.

    6. Be Committed And Devoted To Your Partner

    When you're committed and devoted to something, you will have little or no time for something else, it will take your time, energy and resources. So, be committed and devoted to your partner.

    When you're committed and devoted to your partner, you will have little or no time for someone else, you'll have time for your partner. Be Committed and devoted.

    7. Think About The Consequences

    As a married woman, what do you think will happen if your husband should catch you while you're sleeping with another man? Ask yourself the same question as a man, what will happen if your woman should catch you cheating on her? Think about it.

    Also, think about the effect your cheating will have on your partner. Think about how heartbroken, devastated and traumatized your partner will be. Think about the lost of trust and confidence your partner will have for you.

    Cheating can end your marriage. It can make your partner to commit suicide. You will lose the trust, love and confidence of your partner. Does cheating really worth all these? Think about it.

    8. Avoid The Company Of Those That Don't Value Fidelity.

    Proverbs 13:20 says that, when you follow the wise, you'll become wise and when you will follow fools, you shall be destroyed. Who you follow determines what follows you. Who you company with determines what accompanies you.

    So, avoid the company of those that are not faithful to their partners, avoid those that don't respect their marital vows and and the sacredness of marriage. It's just a matter of time before you join them. Bad company corrupts good character.

    9. Value What You Have

    When you don't value what you have, you will treat and abuse it. When you don't have value and respect for your partner, you will cheat on the person. What you value, you cherish, guide, protect and care for.

    If you value your partner, you will cherish him or her, you will care about his or her feelings. Place a premium value on your partner.

    10. Love Your Partner

    Love is a strong force that can either compel you to do or not to do something. When you truly love your partner, you won't like to cheat on him or her. The love will constrain you from doing such(see 2 Corinthians 5:14-15).

    MESSAGE
    Darkness has the power to cast spells on people. Every wrong step you have taken in life was masterminded by the spells of darkness.

    Every wrong choice you made in the past was guided from the spell of darkness casted upon you directly or indirectly.

    *The spell of darkness is the spell of death. Until men are blinded by darkness, they are not death doomed.*

    It is the spell of darkness that makes men call evil good and good evil. They would rather believe in lies instead of the truth.

    Individuals who are under the spell of darkness may never know the danger of sin and evil until they are neck deep into it.

    Satan had to depend on the spell of darkness to deceive Eve. Eve also transmitted to the same spell on Adam hence the later could not discern the danger of eating of the forbidden fruit nor did he have the power to resist the pull of evil associated with the strange tree of conflicting knowledge in the garden.

    *Your breakthroughs in life are delayed by the spells of darkness around you.*

    *Until you break the spells of darkness over your life, your breakthroughs may continue to linger.*

    There can be no genuine progress where darkness reigns. Our first major responsibility in life is to be so lighted by God's word that we break the spell of darkness everywhere we find ourselves.

    *The only weapon for dislodging darkness and its forces is the light from God's word.*

    The Bible says in;
    Psalms 119:130 "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple."

    *Therefore, when the Lord Jesus began His ministry, He began by teaching and preaching the word because the revelation of the word is the only power that can successfully and completely break the spell of darkness.*

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Ask the Holy Spirit to saturate your life with His light always.
    2. Pray fervently that every hidden works of dishonesty in and around your life be exposed and rebuked.
    3. Ask the Lord to fill your heart with genuine love for the truth always.

    Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh God of restoration, keep me away from every error and deceit and help me to stay in your Light in Jesus' name. Amen.

    *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: MONDAY 14TH JULY 2025 THEME: *BREAKING THE SPELL OF DARKNESS* MEMORIZE John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. READ Matthew 4:15-17 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: *There can be no genuine progress where darkness reigns.* MESSAGE Darkness has the power to cast spells on people. Every wrong step you have taken in life was masterminded by the spells of darkness. Every wrong choice you made in the past was guided from the spell of darkness casted upon you directly or indirectly. *The spell of darkness is the spell of death. Until men are blinded by darkness, they are not death doomed.* It is the spell of darkness that makes men call evil good and good evil. They would rather believe in lies instead of the truth. Individuals who are under the spell of darkness may never know the danger of sin and evil until they are neck deep into it. Satan had to depend on the spell of darkness to deceive Eve. Eve also transmitted to the same spell on Adam hence the later could not discern the danger of eating of the forbidden fruit nor did he have the power to resist the pull of evil associated with the strange tree of conflicting knowledge in the garden. *Your breakthroughs in life are delayed by the spells of darkness around you.* *Until you break the spells of darkness over your life, your breakthroughs may continue to linger.* There can be no genuine progress where darkness reigns. Our first major responsibility in life is to be so lighted by God's word that we break the spell of darkness everywhere we find ourselves. *The only weapon for dislodging darkness and its forces is the light from God's word.* The Bible says in; Psalms 119:130 "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." *Therefore, when the Lord Jesus began His ministry, He began by teaching and preaching the word because the revelation of the word is the only power that can successfully and completely break the spell of darkness.* ACTION STEPS 1. Ask the Holy Spirit to saturate your life with His light always. 2. Pray fervently that every hidden works of dishonesty in and around your life be exposed and rebuked. 3. Ask the Lord to fill your heart with genuine love for the truth always. PRAYERS Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh God of restoration, keep me away from every error and deceit and help me to stay in your Light in Jesus' name. Amen.
