• *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: THURSDAY 3RD JULY 2025

    THEME: *PURSUE GENERATIONAL RELEVANCE.*

    MEMORISE
    Psalms 125:1
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.

    READ
    Genesis 17:1-2, 7-9
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*The only people God remembers are those who walk closely with Him.*

    MESSAGE
Death is not the end of life but rather the beginning of another life on another plane.

Existence is not terminated by the death of any human. Life will always go on directly or indirectly.

Some people are only relevant in their lifetime and are forgotten as soon as they are buried, but there are people whose relevance begins at their death. Bible figures like father, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are forever immortalized in our hearts and on the sand of time. Moses, the man of God, all the Prophets of old like Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, are all written in gold, never to be forgotten, David the beloved king and psalmist of Israel, Paul and the other Apostles, and best of all Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Whose death made more impact than His life on earth. He died, leaving only twelve disciples but having over two billion followers on earth today.

I am particularly moved by the life and ministry of Prophet Daniel in Babylon.

    TO BE GENERATIONALLY RELEVANT
    1. You need to find out the specific area of your calling and gifting in predestination. In other words, discover your purpose from God and consequently pursue it until you make your own loud impact on your generation. Be determined to make a mark that will indelibly immortalize you in the hearts of every generation that comes. Such that you cannot be forgotten. Daniel became a generational figure that we cannot forget because he discovered and pursued his own purpose as a prophet to his generation.

    2. Be passionate about your purpose. Stay on fire with your purpose. Men are driven by what they are passionate about. The proof of passion is dogged pursuit. And what we pursue with our lives is what we leave behind as a legacy for posterity.

    3. Be deliberately passionate about your spiritual life. Labour deliberately to stay on fire for God all through life. God is close to those who make an effort to be close to Him. The Bible says
James 4:8 "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."
Spiritual fervency results in an unbreakable bond with God. Daniel could not be stopped in his devotion to God. He was perpetually on fire for God. He would rather die than stay without praying to God for a day. He considered a day without prayers as death. He couldn't imagine himself living without God in this world. He was impeached because of his prayer life because that was the only weakness in his life!

Today, we are reminded of his indefatigable persistence in prayers that earned him a special place in God's heart. The only people God remembers are those who walk closely with Him.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Find out your purpose in life.
    2. Stick to it through thick and thin until you make your mark on your generation.
    3. Maintain a vibrant spiritual life at all cost.

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Oh Lord God of host, keep me as the apple of your eyes always and help me to pursue the things that makes for generational relevance with you in Jesus' name. Amen.

    NOTE
Remember the ongoing prayer and fasting program in church, come with your family and friends tonight 5pm as we witness the yoke destroying the power of the resurrected Saviour Jesus Christ.

  • BENEFITS OF OBSERVATION SKILLS

How can you maximise your time in everything you do? By having clarity of purpose, you can learn every minute of the day when you have defined how each hour will be used strategically. We all have different purposes for creation, so the key observation you might be looking for could be quite different from mine. For example, an artist may use their observation skills to notice nuances in shadows and light at various times of the day. They might look for details that could improve their artistic talent and then think about how to incorporate those into their art. Isaac Newton was fascinated by the apple that dropped on his head. After much contemplation and using his observation skills, he derived the three laws of motion that explain the cause and effect created by the movement of energy and material mass.

This explains that nothing moves without material force unless there is an applied action. Sometimes, mundane parts of life, like household chores and even engaging in the Uncle Sam system, require us to sell our time to an employer for a wage. However, we know this is not the reason we were created, and yet, with intense focus, we must prioritize our observation skills using our willpower while finishing the tasks set before us. These tasks are merely intermediaries as we transition from employment to self-employment, using our skills and purpose for creation as the ultimate reason for waking each day, to add value to that gift, even in the mundanity.

First, you need to clearly define your purpose. How can you make each hour work towards that goal? For example, you might sell your hours to others in exchange for money until you have enough to work for yourself, so that your time truly becomes your own. You must develop a strategy to apply high-yielding principles that can improve your ability to serve those who benefit from your gift, which must be clearly identified. Different parts of the day can be used to maximise your potential—reading, writing, listening, and conversation are all equal components, each with its own logic that can be maximised through observation. Have you ever become an observer of yourself without judgment, simply noticing how well you engage in each activity, recognising where your strengths and weaknesses lie? Sometimes we are good at one part but weaker in others. They all have different logic.

Listening requires 110% focus. Have you ever noticed you were thinking of something else when you were meant to be listening? Therefore, the time you thought you were converting into added value has been completely wasted. Listening is a skill that can be developed to be strong, like writing or reading. When we listen, we need to shift from our own point of view to truly engage with the other person’s perspective and understand. I try to broaden my thinking. I do not dismiss information just because it comes from someone whose fundamental views oppose mine. For example, I am a lover of truth, not religion. First, we must define religion from truth. Religion is a set of rituals that someone practices, e.g., churchgoing, prayer, and reading religious texts. At the same time, all of those are good; they are simply behaviours that one does. However, all religions have other rituals, such as praying five times a day and observing the months they believe the prophet has announced as holy. Others engage in chanting or meditation. You can find many rituals attached to a belief system. Yet, many of those do not lead to the father.

Yet, when saying something profound, you can observe whether you are open-minded enough to look beyond a person's religious worldview. They may have uncovered universal truths that apply to everyone, regardless of their faith. Another point you might notice is that they are fully committed to a worldview that, just as much as we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, serves as the foundation for our entire belief system. Their thinking might start from a different perspective—one that is the first building block of their understanding of life, which is someone's worldview. There is a significant difference between the worldview of the kingdom of God and that of many traditional Christians.

The first point is that the pulpit ministry has become so exalted that Sunday tradition has turned into a way of life for many Christians. However, beyond gathering, the rest of their week is spent serving the Uncle Sam system to earn money and pay their bills. This has become so normalised that it would be difficult for people to see any alternative. Jesus said there are only two gods; while it is true that money answers all things and could solve every problem, money has many voices attached to it. It tells us to go here or there and can dictate where it is spent. It demands obedience, and unless we understand the laws associated with it, it will control us rather than us controlling it. Money is not meant to be spent; it is meant to be retained, multiplied, and invested.

That is why many people sell their labour for a wage. However, since many only earn enough to make ends meet, they are often trapped in a perpetual cycle of working to build someone else's vision. This is a catastrophe in light of God’s word, because to whom we give ourselves is our master. It has been subtly woven into our thinking since childhood—to go to school, get an education, join the workforce, and sell our lives to it. How can we serve God if that is our philosophy? We must discover our God-given purpose and find a way to live for that purpose instead of selling our lives to the world system. Many structures support this, including the pulpit ministry with one man who has discovered his calling and is multiplying that gift. Meanwhile, the rest of the church is held back from reclaiming all that the thief has stolen—from politics to education—because we are not walking according to the priorities and principles Jesus gave us as instructions, which are based on truth, not a set of religious rituals.

Jesus said, “Go into all the world and teach them to observe all that I have taught you.” I have been observing people from different religions who do not openly declare their faith; you must listen carefully to discover it. Still, they teach principles that can change lives and even use God's word to support these principles, but they do not openly confess Jesus Christ as Lord. They have millions of followers who are being discipled by them. However, the most critical part—the foundation from which all their teachings are built—is deeply flawed and deviates from the truth. This deception is so subtle that it schools people into a worldview containing powerful principles from God's kingdom according to our original nature. Still, it ultimately leads people to permanent separation from God because the root is corrupt.

The truth is what everyone desires, but because people have been mentally conditioned by their environment, how the truth is told, even if it is in error, aligns with foreign beliefs that have entered the psyche and have persisted for many generations, shaping how they see the world. Still, we must recognise that this is a lie, and while we sit in churches every week for our spiritual fix to solve our problems, countless others will be separated from God because we did not follow the instructions of grace and truth that Jesus left for us. You alone are created from something that I do not have the same capacity for because of your unique path of preparation and God's design for your life. The light is created for darkness; it is the only thing that will uproot and remove every voice that opposes Jesus as God. Unless you manifest that in the world, nothing can change, and a whole people group that God created you for will perish, for which we are answerable.

We focus too much on the wrong things, like church attendance, giving your tithe, and pastors want their followers to be faithful because of this. But actually, the one who should be our master of our finances, our way of life, and everything we do is the captain of our faith, Jesus Christ. We were created for a calling in the world; that’s how our Monday to Friday lives should be lived in accordance with His will. If we don’t make His will our priority, it will always come second to our work. We need to live our lives to the fullest by following God's ways laid out in truthful principles. The key to this is in observing. In the Cambridge dictionary, observing means watching carefully how something happens or how someone does something, especially to learn more about it. We need to reflect on what Jesus means by observing everything He has taught us.

  • [23/05, 12:02 am] null: *START YOUR DAY WITH GOD...*

    *SHOW COMPASSION*

    _Colossians 3:12_
_"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;"_

As God’s chosen people, we are called to wear compassion like a garment, allowing it to influence how we see others and how we respond to their needs. Compassion is not mere sympathy; it is being prompt to show genuine concern to someone in need. It expresses itself in mercy, kindness, meekness and longsuffering.

It is taking the time to recognize a weary mother struggling to cater for her children and offering a helping hand, noticing the colleague weighed down with stress and taking a moment to listen, or reaching out to a church member who has been absent and might be silently battling discouragement. Just as God showers us daily with mercy and grace, He calls us to act the same way toward those around us.

Jesus consistently showed compassion everywhere He went. He wept over Jerusalem when he saw their spiritual state, was moved with compassion for the multitudes that followed him, and paused to teach, heal and feed them (Matt 14:13-21). Compassion shifts our focus from ourselves to others. It helps us bear one another’s burdens and respond to others in humility and meekness.

Today, choose to show compassion. Be quick to understand and slow to judge. Ask the Holy Ghost to help you see the needs around you He wants you to handle. As you obey His leading, may His blessings overflow in your life in Jesus name, Amen.

[23/05, 12:02 am] null: *START YOUR DAY WITH GOD...* 🧾 *SHOW COMPASSION* 📖 _Colossians 3:12_ _"Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;"_ As God’s chosen people, we are called to wear compassion like a garment, allowing it to influence how we see others and how we respond to their needs. _To continue reading today's devotional, please visit:_ https://prayingthepromises.co.uk/show-compassion _*🎙️Remember to SHARE this devotional to Bless others* 👍🏻_ _*God bless you*_ [23/05, 9:01 am] null: 🔔 It is 9am 🕘 *It is Time for Holy Spirit worship.* 🙌🙌 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ _You can take a quick break from whatever you are doing and say this prayer. (If possilbe You may lift your hands or kneel)_ ****'********** Holy Spirit of the Living God, I welcome You into my life, my home and my businesses. Help me today not to grieve You in any way as I lay myself down in total worship and surrender to you. 🙇‍♀️ I consecrate my body, soul and spirit to You oh Lord my creator, companion and Helper. May all that I say and do today be directed by you to bring glory to the Father. Amen. **************** ▫️ The *Last Day Worship Network*, setup by our man of God, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, is geared towards promoting the expressive and demonstrative worship of God through a daily three-time act of worship to declare and publish the name and greatness of the LORD in homes, offices, organizations, in nations all around the world, and for generations to come. We have a daily three-time act of worship: - 9am – Holy Spirit Worship - 12Noon – Jesus Worship - 6pm – God worship ⚠️ *Do not forget to observe your 12Noon and 6pm worship break.*

  • PROTECTING your CHICKENS from SNAKES!!

Snakes are usually unexpected but shouldn't be a surprise when found around poultry.
It's important to keep snakes out of your chicken environment to keep the eggs, chicks, & even your chickens safe from snake attacks.

If you have snakes around your poultry, it's one sign that you have rodents in the poultry and most likely eating your chicken's feed.

Here are some of the ways you can implement to avoid these creatures in your homesteads:

    1. RODENT CONTROL:
Rats love chicken feed and snakes love rats and mice. If you have too many rats running around your yard, chances of sighting a snake are high. Rodent control is therefore important. Ensure proper waste management – burn or properly dispose of any litter far away from the fowl run.

Too much garbage lying around is food for rats and junk items around the yard such as rubbles, old roofing sheets and wood piles provide a safe haven for rats and snakes. As you may be aware, rats breed so fast hence attracting the attention of these reptiles which may end up in your fowl run eating the chickens and eggs.

    2. SNAKE REPELLANTS:
Planting snake repellant plants also helps to deter the creatures. These plants emit odours that irritate snakes. Some common examples include marigolds, lemongrass, wormwood, rosemary, thyme, garlic, garden rue and onions. Plant these around the chicken run and yard to provide a protective shield for the birds.

Snake pills from most veterinary shops also help excrete pungent smell that deter these reptiles. Smoke from burning tyres also irritates snakes from settling in the yard. Putting diesel around the perimeter of the yard or fowl run also ensures snakes do not cross the line. You can also put broken bottle pieces around the fowl run to deter snakes from crossing. Spraying a concoction of mahogany tree barks soaked in water around the yard also repels the serpents.

    3. CUT DOWN TALL GRASS:
Ensure grass around the yard and fowl run is cut short at all times. Tall grass and thick bushes provide a safe home or hideout for snakes and even mosquitos.

    4. COVER ANY FOWL RUN OPENINGS:
With the rains around, snakes are constantly looking for dry and warm places to stay. Fowl runs, homes and storerooms provide these ideal conditions. Ensure the fowl run has no openings that allow snakes to enter especially from the roof.

Cover any openings with mesh wire or plaster any holes or cracks where possible. The fowl run should be snake proof to protect the chickens at all times.

    5. PRUNE TREES:
Snakes can climb trees and find ways to enter the fowl run through the roof. Ensure any nearby trees are pruned at all times.

    6. COLLECT EGGS REGULARLY:
Snakes are mostly attracted to eggs more than the chickens. It’s only when chickens seem to be a predator when snakes do attack the birds.

Ensure eggs in nesting boxes are removed regularly during the day and remove the ‘temptation’ for snakes to enter the fowl runs.

    7. KEEPING GUINEA FOWLS:
Those with guinea fowls (hanga) can testify these birds are very alert and make a lot of noise when they see intruders. Guinea fowls are not afraid of snakes and can fight off and kill these reptiles with ease.

However, guinea fowls can also end up bullying chickens hence you need to introduce them pretty early to ensure they can co-exist well.

    8. CATS AND DOGS:
Cats are good at reducing rodent population and even fighting off snakes. Dogs too can help in spotting such intruders. Having these in the yard is a sure help when it comes to managing rodents and keeping snakes away.

    CONCLUSION:
In the event you find snakes in the fowl run, it is always advisable to enlist the services of professional snake handlers than trying to manage this on your own.

Some snake species are poisonous and can harm you. Snake handlers know how to catch and rehabilitate these reptiles. Snakes have a purpose in the ecosystem, there is need to preserve them hence the need to call professionals for help.

  • THE LAST PROMISED
    PART 1
The room was quiet, save for the slow, uneven breaths of the man lying in the bed. The air smelled of medicine and the faint scent of lavender from the candle Mary had lit earlier, hoping it might bring some comfort. Kelvin’s face was pale, his skin stretched thin over his bones, his once-strong body now frail under the blankets.
Mary sat beside him; her hands wrapped around his. His fingers were cold, no matter how tightly she held them. She rubbed them gently, as if she could press warmth back into his skin.
"You should rest," she whispered, forcing a smile. "You look tired."
Kelvin turned his head slowly toward her, his eyes heavy but full of something deep—something that made Mary’s heart ache. He had been sick for months, and each day, she watched as the sickness stole a little more of him. But she refused to let herself think about the end. She refused to believe this was it.
"Mary," he said, his voice weak but clear. "You’ve done so much for me."
She shook her head quickly, blinking back the sting in her eyes. "Don’t talk like that. You’re going to get better. The doctor said—"
"Mary," he interrupted softly. "Look at me."
She did. And in his gaze, she saw the truth he had been too kind to say out loud.
He swallowed, as if gathering strength. "I don’t have much time left."
"No," she said sharply, her voice breaking. "No, don’t say that. You’re going to be fine. We’re going to grow old together, remember? We promised."
Kelvin smiled, but it was sad. "I remember." He squeezed her hand as much as he could. "But I need you to promise me something else now."
Mary’s throat tightened. She didn’t want to hear it. She didn’t want to think about a world without him.
"When I’m gone," he continued, his voice steady but gentle, "I need you to move on. Be happy. Find love again."
Tears spilled down her cheeks. "Stop it. Just stop. You’re not going anywhere."
He reached up, his trembling fingers brushing her tears away. "Mary, you’re young. You have so much life ahead of you. I don’t want you to spend it alone, grieving for me."
She pressed her forehead against his, her breath shaking. "I don’t want anyone else. I only want you."
He closed his eyes for a moment, as if her words pained him. "You deserve more than this. More than watching me fade away."
Mary pulled back, gripping his hand tighter. "You’re my husband. I’ll never leave you. Never."
Kelvin looked at her with so much love, so much sorrow. "I know," he whispered. "But I need to know you’ll be okay. Promise me, Mary. Promise me you’ll try to be happy."
She wanted to argue. She wanted to scream that he couldn’t ask this of her. But the plea in his eyes broke her.
    So, she lied.
    "I promise," she whispered.
He smiled, relieved, and closed his eyes again. Mary watched his chest rise and fall, counting each breath, praying for more.
Because she couldn’t imagine a life without him.
And she would never, ever move on.

  • *SIX WAYS MEN CAN ESCAPE POVERTY*

    1. Get the right woman - Forget the slay queens and women with looks but zero brains. Get a woman who will not only support your vision but will also push you to achieve more. A woman who will inspire you to work hard and not a woman who just makes you hard. He who finds a real woman finds a good thing and obtains favour and power to create wealth.

    2. Don’t find yourself in cheap places - Big business opportunities are found in some expensive places. In fact, in places where they sell cheap drinks, the only people you will find there are people who will be asking you for money. Where they call you bayala. Spend time on the golf course or in big conferences where people talk about money! Invest in pushing yourself to that level.

    3. Stop being Lazy - "Man ooh Man, why art thou Lazy?" You are too lazy for your own good. You sleep the whole day and blame the government for your poverty. "A Little Sleep, a Little Slumber, poverty shall overtake you like a political cadre in overalls". A lot of men are just lazy when it comes to making money. You can’t be well known at manufacturing kids when you can’t even afford daippers for one kid.

    4. Know Productive Things - If you keep too much junk in your head, you get a junk life. I know a lot of men who are so sharp when you are talking about girls, about soccer and about street politics, Who is Rich who is not,Who has a good house but you can't bring a topic about investment, innovation and business, they start looking at their phone, yawning or saying bye.. Useless things, videos and memes go viral fast than constructive things.. A man must know how to do at least one productive thing (have one skill) even without having gone to college.

    5. Get Connected to Big Men Who are better than you - A lot of men are failing because they are not mentored. They don't have anyone to whom they can sit down and listen, with obedience. In the old days, old men would sit young men down and show them how to hunt and kill animals... and no man was considered a man enough until he has personally killed an animal... now these men of nowadays are not mentored and can't even kill a bird. There are men out there who have made it in life, find a way to get mentored by big men who are making waves and impacting people in our community.

    6. Work - Stop Spending your whole day just praying and fasting yet you know that both Quran and Bible tells you that God will bless the work of your hands. Yes yes The blessing finds you on your way doing something,Stop using Prayer as an excuse not to work. Work hard.
It’s an error for your pockets to be empty and your brain to be empty too.

  • The Salty Soup

In the small town of Amala Junction, there was a famous mama-put spot called Taste & See. Mama Ejiro, the owner, was known for her loud mouth, hot temper, and even hotter pepper soup. People came from far and near just to eat her egusi and swallow.

One sunny afternoon, Aunty Bunmi, a self-proclaimed chef and neighborhood gossip, walked in with her friend to eat lunch. As usual, the place was full people licking plates and sweating from pepper.

Aunty Bunmi took one spoon of soup, dropped her spoon dramatically, clutched her chest and shouted:

My dear, This your soup is a bit salty today o
    Everyone froze.
    Even the flies stopped flying.
The music in the background paused by itself.
    Children outside stopped playing.
One man even choked on his fufu and started praying in tongues.

Mama Ejiro slowly turned from her pot of steaming soup and replied loudly:

If you sabi cook better, wetin you dey do here every day"
    Gasps filled the air.
    People started whispering.

Ah ,Aunty Bunmi don collect today

Mama Ejiro threw her cooking spoon in the air and screamed:

Holy Ghost fie. You have entered the arena now Today na today

She tied her wrapper tighter, removed her slippers, and charged like a Nollywood lioness.

Customers dropped their food and ran outside with their chairs like it was a live movie.

  • THE DANGER OF FORCING LOVE

It is dangerous to force yourself on someone or marry someone who does not love you.
When there is no love in marriage, the wedding ring becomes a little handcuff and your marriage becomes a prison yard instead of a paradise on earth.

A man who does not love a woman during courtship will find it difficult to cherish her after getting married.
There are people who will never love you no matter how much you show love to them.
    That's the reality of life.
    Love is a choice.
    Don't force yourself on anyone.

Don't keep fighting to be with someone who isn't fighting to be with you, you can't keep holding onto someone who is not holding onto you, you can't keep planning your future with someone who doesn't plan theirs with you, you can't keep running back to someone who is running away from you, you can't keep loving and caring about someone who shows that they no longer love you, and you can't keep taking someone as a priority yet they are taking you as their option.

Trust me, it's a waste of time and energy.
No matter how hard and hurting it is, you have to let go and open up a new chapter for your life.
Because there are thousand of people who are praying and wishing to spend the rest of their lives with you!

Why kill yourself over someone who thinks he or she is doing you a big favor by being in a relationship with you.

You deserve to be happy, loved and cared for not to be sad all the time, to have sleepless nights, to cry and plead for someone's love.
    Think about it.

You have to be in a relationship in which you are loved, celebrated, honored and not tolerated.
But until you let go of the wrong person from your life, you can't see the right person for your life.

Sometimes we may love the wrong person, cry for the wrong reasons.
But one thing is for sure, mistakes help us to find the right person.
Know your place in people's life and act accordingly.
It's not pride, it is self respect.
THE DANGER OF FORCING LOVE It is dangerous to force yourself on someone or marry someone who does not love you.
