  • *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: FRIDAY 30TH MAY 2025

    THEME:
    *NOBODY CAN SATISFY ANYBODY*

    MEMORIZE
    Hebrews 12:14
    Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

    READ
    1 Peter 3:13-18
    And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
    But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
    But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
    Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
    For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
    For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
    *You were not designed to meet people's expectations.*

    MESSAGE
    We were never created to meet people's expectations; that is God's job.

    Unfortunately for God, He has not been able to satisfy the desires of "fallen humans" because they want what He hates...

    This is why living to please people or to impress people is living in a fools paradise. It is a waste of time and effort.

    It started in heaven, Lucifer faulted the holiest one who is without unrighteousness... and led a mutiny against the most high; His creator and boss because he was disgruntled about God's leadership style...

    The father of the prodigal son couldn't satisfy his own son... he wanted more than staying in his father's house...

    The people who ate miracle bread and fish from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ also shouted, "Crucify him."

    Judas Iscariot, who was shown so much love and acceptance from the best pastor, was the worst traitor and betrayer in history.

    *When your best is never enough, don't blame yourself for it.*

    When people disdain and contem, your best efforts care not about it. You were not designed to meet people's expectations.

    Remember, the bee lives only for 40 days and must visit at least 1000 flowers to be able to produce only half of a teaspoonful of honey...

    To us, it's only a teaspoonful honey, but to the bee, that is his whole life's labour and earnings...

    There is only one person you should strive to please; and that is God. Having done all your best to please God, bless the LORD for whatever reactions you get from men, whether good or bad.

    This is the conclusion of the whole matter;

    1. Discover purpose,
    2. Live maximally to release your full potential, and leave the rest for God.
    3. Follow peace with all men, and as much as it lies with your strength, seek peace and pursue it.
    4. Maintain a pure heart and a conscience void of offence towards others.
    5. Most importantly, live ready for the LORD at all times because the time is short.

    Cheers and shalom.

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide.
    2. Be determined to be in God's good book always.
    3. Do your best to stay out of trouble with all men, making peace your umpire.

    REMEMBER
    *You were not designed to meet people's expectations.*

    PRAYERS
    Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. Help me to know and to do your will always, keep me in the center of your perfect plans always and help me to pursue purpose to the fullest and to stand before you blameless in the end in Jesus name. Amen.

    AUTHOR: JEDIDIAH DAVID

    DAILY READING: Jeremiah 1-2; Psalms 34-37; Matthew 14-15;

    HYMN
    My hope is built on nothing less
    Than Jesus' blood and righteousness ;
    I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
    But wholly lean on Jesus' name.

    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand ;
    All other ground is sinking sand,
    All other ground is sinking sand.

    2
    When darkness hides His lovely face,
    I rest on His unchanging grace;
    In every high and stormy gale,
    My anchor holds within the vail.

    3
    His oath, His covenant, His blood,
    Support me in the 'whelming flood ;
    When all around my soul gives way,
    He then is all my hope and stay.

    4
    When He shall come with trumpet sound,
    On ,may I then in Him be found,
    Clothed in His righteousness alone,
    Faultless to stand before the throne !

  • YOUR "SAVINGS" ARE KILLING YOU SLOWLY

    That mushy, "cheap" tomato you picked to save money?
    It’s not a bargain—it’s BIOHAZARD.

    That squishy, "almost gone" tomato hiding in your fridge?
    It’s not preservation—it’s POISON PREPPING.

    Here's The Hard Truth:

    You think you’re being smart with money—
    But really, you’re playing Ludo with your gut.

    "Just cut off the bad part!" = Pure LIE.
    "Boil it well, it’ll be fine!" = Dark LIE.
    "Heavenly stew from rotten tomatoes?" = EVEN ANGELS WOULD VOMIT.

    "But it’s just a tomato!" →
    SAY THAT TO A CANCER PATIENT.
    "But it tastes nice even though!" → POISON HAS NO FLAVOUR.

    Imagine What Rotten Tomatoes Really Do To You:
    Splash it in soup? → Mycotoxins survive boiling = CANCER RISK.
    Smear it on toast?"→ Food poisoning loading… IMMUNITY CRASH.
    Freeze for later?→ Toxic buildup = KIDNEY STRAIN .

    Hospital bills don’t care about your "savings."
    Chemo doesn’t negotiate prices.

    THE FIX is simple.
    EITHER FRESH OR NOTHING.
    Your health isn’t a discount bin.

    DON’T BUY ROTTEN.
    Poor man's meal → Rich man's medical bill

    THROW IT OUT.
    One bad tomato = a lifetime of regret.
    So when in doubt, fling it off.

    Every bite of spoiled food is a love letter to disease. Stop sending them.

    Your future self is begging you: STOP EATING WHAT BELONGS IN THE TRASH

  • SEASONS TO NOTE WHEN DATING
    Not Every “Sweet” Season Leads To Marriage!

    Dating isn’t just a straight road to the altar. It comes in seasons, and if you’re not discerning, you may commit to the wrong person or leave someone right for you.

    Here are the 4 key seasons every dating couple goes through and what to watch out for:

    1. THE HONEY SEASON (Excitement Phase)

    This is when everything feels perfect. The frequent late-night calls, butterflies in your tummy, sweet words, constant attention, and nothing is ever wrong about this person at this phase.

    They seem like your answered prayer and the best thing that has ever happened to you.

    At this phase, you need to be aware of those that show their best side, not their real side.
    NEVER make long-term decisions in this phase. Enjoy it, but stay alert.

    2. THE STORMY SEASON (Conflict Phase)

    Here, disagreements begin to arise. You begin to see attitudes, temper, communication style and how they react under pressure.

    This is the time to note if they handle conflict with maturity or manipulation.

    You should find out if both of you talk things through respectfully.

    This season reveals emotional intelligence, which is a must for marriage.

    3. THE SILENT SEASON (Distance Phase)

    At this phase, the energy suddenly drops. Calls are reduced. Excitement fades, and It feels like something’s wrong.

    This is when to find out if you are emotionally connected beyond physical attraction.

    Do you still enjoy each other’s company without constant entertainment?

    This season tests depth. It is at this point that shallow relationships usually die.

    4. THE DECISION SEASON (Clarity Phase)

    This is the phase where you see them clearly. Their strengths, weaknesses, and patterns.

    At this phase, you need to evaluate if you are aligned spiritually, emotionally and mentally?

    Do you share the same values, goals, and faith convictions?

    This is where you decide if this person is your future spouse or just a distraction.

    However, you need to know that if you introduce s.e.x too early, these seasons become harder to discern, your judgement may be biased, emotions get clouded and red flags get ignored. You will begin to confuse lust for love.

    Dating is not a game, it’s preparation for destiny.

  • ENUGU RITUAL WONDER: I Still Can't Believe It - Uche Kingsley (Uche Agumba), You Too?

    Following the Enugu State ritual wonder that was unveiled few days ago by security operatives coupled with government swift intervention with an executive order to demolish the country home and shrine of the branded ritualists and serial killer of innocent souls, you’ll be shocked at this piece scripted by a close friend of the culprit who is still in shock of the secret dealings of the culprit, even as they have known eachother as co church goers and innocent citizens. Read Below:

    Sometimes, life hits you with news that leaves you completely speechless.

    A few days ago, I came across a video that shook me to the core. It was about one of the accomplices of that Enugu native doctor who was recently arrested for ritual killings. To my shock, the name mentioned was Uche Kingsley, popularly known as Agumba—a name I’ve known for years.

    At first, I wasn’t sure it was the same Uche I knew. The name, the nickname, the location—it all sounded too familiar. But I brushed it off. I told myself it must be someone else. After all, the Uche I knew was a deeply religious man, someone who never missed church programs and was even known to travel from Aba to Enugu for special Catholic events.

    He was one of those people who would question your faith if you missed church. He often challenged me for not being as “serious” with religion as he was.

    But when I watched the video again and heard that the man dealt in furniture materials at Ariaria, Aba—it hit me. I knew this Uche. This was the same guy I once shared memories with. Out of curiosity and concern, I searched for him online. And when I saw his pictures, my heart dropped. It was truly him—Uche Agumba.

    We go way back. Uche served a man from Uga Anambra state (whose name I’ll leave out here), and I remember when he got settled around 2011 or 2012 after serving for seven years. We were all young men trying to make it. I recall one particular day we returned from Port Harcourt, and he said to me, “Before I get married, I must be a very wealthy man.” I reminded him that he was the only son of his parents. He nodded and said, “I know—but this is what I must do.”

    Everyone who was in the building materials line at Ariaria back then knew Uche. From 2005 to 2011 to 2013, and now. we trained together at Osusu Primary School field before I moved out of Aba. I can’t remember him ever missing church. He was deeply involved in religious activities—chartering buses to Enugu weekly, buying and selling bottles of anointed water and yoghurt after the programs. I checked his Facebook recently—he still shares posts from those same church programs.

He nodded and said, “I know—but this is what I must do.” Everyone who was in the building materials line at Ariaria back then knew Uche.

  • *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: FRIDAY 30TH MAY 2025

    THEME:
    *NOBODY CAN SATISFY ANYBODY*

    MEMORIZE
    Hebrews 12:14
    Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

    READ
    1 Peter 3:13-18
    And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
    But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

    This is the conclusion of the whole matter;

    DAILY READING: Jeremiah 1-2; Psalms 34-37; Matthew 14-15;

    HYMN
    My hope is built on nothing less
    Than Jesus' blood and righteousness ;
    I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
    But wholly lean on Jesus' name.

    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand ;
    All other ground is sinking sand,
    All other ground is sinking sand.

    2
    When darkness hides His lovely face,
    I rest on His unchanging grace;
    In every high and stormy gale,
    My anchor holds within the vail.

    3
    His oath, His covenant, His blood,
    Support me in the 'whelming flood ;
    When all around my soul gives way,
    He then is all my hope and stay.

    4
    When He shall come with trumpet sound,
    On ,may I then in Him be found,
    Clothed in His righteousness alone,
    Faultless to stand before the throne !
