• My name is Genoveva Umeh. I was born on May 8, 1995, in Enugu and though I spent some of my early years in London, my roots are firmly in Enugu State. I’m proudly Igbo.

I studied drama in London, followed my passion, decided to return to Nigeria and found my place in Nollywood. At 30, I’ve been blessed with an AMVCA win, a nomination for A Tune Away, and roles in powerful movies on major platforms.

I’m not married and I don’t have children yet, but my family means everything to me. Their love gives me strength. Acting is how I speak to the world and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who believes in me. Your support means a lot.
