• IMPORTANCE OF SAYING SORRY IN A RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE WHEN YOU ARE WRONG

Apologizing is an essential part of maintaining a healthy, strong, and resilient relationship or marriage. It serves as a bridge to healing, restoring trust, and building a deeper connection with your partner. Here’s why saying sorry is so important:

    WHY APOLOGIZE?

    1. Acknowledges hurt or wrongdoing
An apology signals that you recognize the pain or harm caused by your actions, showing that you care about how your partner feels.

    2. Shows empathy and understanding
It reflects an understanding of your partner's perspective and emotions, demonstrating that you value their feelings.

    3. Diffuses tension and conflict
Apologizing helps to de-escalate difficult situations, calming emotions and clearing the air for healthy communication.

    4. Rebuilds trust and credibility
A sincere apology demonstrates your willingness to take responsibility for your actions, which helps rebuild lost trust and re-establish credibility in your relationship.

    5. Demonstrates accountability and responsibility
Apologizing shows you are accountable for your actions, accepting responsibility rather than deflecting blame.

    6. Encourages forgiveness and healing
Saying sorry opens the door to forgiveness, allowing both partners to move forward and heal together.

    7. Strengthens communication and intimacy
Apologizing fosters open, honest conversations, deepening emotional intimacy and mutual understanding.

    8. Sets a positive example for conflict resolution
By apologizing, you teach the importance of humility, reconciliation, and healthy conflict resolution to others, especially children or those observing your relationship.

    8. Promotes a healthier and happier relationship
Relationships that feature regular, honest apologies are healthier and more likely to be enduring because they are rooted in love and respect.

    HOW TO APOLOGIZE EFFECTIVELY
    4
    1. Use the "3 Rs" of apology: Regret, Responsibility, and Remedy
Regret the hurt caused, take responsibility for your actions, and suggest a remedy for moving forward.

    2. Be sincere and genuine in your apology
Authenticity is key. A half-hearted apology can often do more harm than good.

    3. Listen actively to your partner's concerns
Give your partner space to express their feelings and truly listen without interrupting or defending yourself.

    4. Validate your partner's feelings and experiences
Acknowledge that your partner's feelings are valid, even if you didn’t intend to hurt them.

    5. Offer a specific solution or plan for change
Demonstrate your commitment to improving by offering a clear solution or changes you’ll make moving forward.

    6. Follow through on your commitments
An apology is only meaningful if it’s backed up by action. Ensure that you take steps to avoid repeating the same mistake.

    7. Show empathy and understanding
Show that you truly understand how your actions have impacted your partner, not just in words but in actions as well.

    8. Be patient and open to feedback
Healing takes time. Be patient with your partner and open to hearing how they feel, even if it takes time to forgive.

    TIPS FOR MEN

    1. Swallow your pride and admit fault
It takes strength to admit when you’re wrong. Let go of your ego to foster a deeper connection.

    2. Use "I" statements to take ownership
Phrases like “I am sorry for…” rather than “You made me do…” put the responsibility on you.

    3. Avoid making excuses or justifying
Resist the urge to explain away the mistake. Just apologize and focus on your partner’s feelings.

    4. Show vulnerability and emotional intelligence
Being open about your emotions builds trust and shows that you care about your partner's feelings.

    5. Be willing to make amends
Your partner should feel that your apology is sincere, so be prepared to make real changes if necessary.

    TIPS FOR WOMEN

    1. Communicate clearly and assertively
Share your feelings honestly and directly, avoiding passive-aggressive behavior or withholding.

    2. Specify what you need from your partner
Let your partner know what will help resolve the issue or what you need moving forward.

    3. Avoid being critical or judgmental
Offer a soft, loving approach when addressing the issue, rather than criticizing or pointing fingers.

    4. Show appreciation for your partner's apology
When your partner apologizes, acknowledge their effort and express gratitude for their sincerity.

    5. Encourage open and honest communication
Foster a space where both partners can freely express their feelings without fear of judgment.

    WHEN TO APOLOGIZE

    1. After a conflict or argument
Don’t wait for too long to apologize. Address the issue as soon as possible to prevent lingering resentment.

    2. When you've hurt or offended your partner
If your words or actions have caused pain, it’s important to recognize that and apologize immediately.

    3. When you've made a mistake or error
A simple acknowledgment that you were wrong goes a long way in healing wounds.

    4. When you've broken a promise or commitment
If you’ve failed to keep your word, apologize and demonstrate that you can be trusted moving forward.

    5. When you've disregarded your partner's feelings
Apologizing when you’ve been insensitive shows respect for your partner's emotional well-being.

Saying sorry isn’t just about saying words; it’s about understanding, acknowledging, and healing. By apologizing effectively, you strengthen your relationship, deepen trust, and build a stronger foundation for the future.

  • The Silent Cry: The Real Dangers of Abortion

Intro: A True-Like Story That Happens Every Day

Ama was only 19, in her second year at the university. Bright. Ambitious. Full of dreams.
But life doesn’t always go as planned.

She found out she was pregnant. The father? A guy who had already moved on. Family? She feared the shame. Friends? Most encouraged her to "just take it out and move on."

So one quiet afternoon, Ama walked into a backstreet clinic—no signboard, no license, just a promise of quick results. She came out with a heavy heart, bleeding… not just physically but emotionally and spiritually.

Days later, Ama collapsed in her hostel. The infection had spread. Her womb was damaged. Her dreams of ever carrying a child again? Gone.

This is not just Ama’s story. It is the story of thousands of young women across Ghana and Africa. Some survive. Some don’t. Most carry the scars forever.

    What Is Abortion?

Abortion is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy before the baby can survive outside the womb.
While some abortions are carried out under strict medical guidance due to life-threatening complications, unsafe abortions—especially those done secretly, by untrained persons, or in unsanitary places—pose deadly risks.

Dangers of Abortion (Especially Unsafe or Repeated)

    1. Physical Health Risks

Severe bleeding (hemorrhage): Can lead to death if untreated.

Infections: Unsanitary tools or poor hygiene can introduce bacteria that damage reproductive organs or cause sepsis (blood poisoning).

Womb perforation: Instruments can tear the uterus, leading to long-term complications or emergency surgery.

Infertility: Damage to the womb or fallopian tubes can result in permanent infertility.

Organ damage: Unsafe procedures can harm nearby organs like the bladder or intestines.

    2. Mental and Emotional Trauma

Depression, guilt, and regret are common.

Post-Abortion Syndrome: A condition similar to PTSD, marked by anxiety, nightmares, emotional numbness, and self-blame.

    3. Social and Spiritual Consequences

Emotional distance from partners or family.

Isolation due to fear or stigma.

Spiritual guilt or disconnection for those with strong religious values.

Common Myths That Push Women Toward Abortion

“It’s just a small problem, take it out.”
→ No. Pregnancy involves two lives: the mother and the child.

“Abortion is safer than giving birth.”
→ Only when done legally and under medical care. Unsafe abortions kill more women than childbirth in many places.

“You can’t get pregnant again after just one abortion.”
→ Many women have faced infertility after a single poorly done abortion.

    What Should You Do Instead?

Talk to a health professional: Seek counseling and support services.

Look into adoption: Many families are looking to adopt children.

Educate yourself: Know your body, understand protection, and make informed decisions.

Join support groups: You're not alone. There are safe spaces to help you make the best decision.

The Way Forward for Ghana and Africa

    We need more education—not judgment.
We need safe spaces, not silence.
We need men to take responsibility, not escape it.
We need communities to empower, not shame.
Let’s protect our women, our daughters, and our sisters from the trap of unsafe abortions.

  • What no one told me about marriage before I enter that I want to tell you.

This is for those planning to marry or those who just got married.
If you are open-minded, you can still read.
    Nobody knows it all.

    1. Immediately you get married, even before having a baby, go and register your family for health insurance.
NHIS is one of the common ones and the most available in hospitals.
It will save you a lot.
There are some things the rich won’t tell you.
With NHIS, you can walk into any hospital and get treated cheap depending on the package.
A friend of mine once did an operation and all he paid was ₦10k something that would have cost ₦400k.

    2. Have a family doctor very very important.
See, no church will tell you this.
Even if you don’t have money for a family doctor, have someone you can call in case of emergency.
Especially a pediatrician when you start having kids.

    3. Also, have a family lawyer.
Recently, our family lawyer saved us over ₦500k in rent that I wanted to forfeit.
But because she stepped in and did her job, money was refunded seamlessly.

    4. If you can afford it, have at least one domestic staff.
Someone that can at least help ease the work in the house for you and madam.
My brother, ejiro kwa afufu anya isi.
    Get help if you can.

    5. Buy things in bulk.
The reason I live like a wealthy man today is because I buy everything I need down to toothpaste in bulk.
You spend more buying in bits than when you buy in bulk.
That’s one of the reasons I created my sharing platform to enable family men and women with common goals.
There is nothing we don’t share. Some of you reading this are in that group.

    6. Pay your children’s school fees before school resumes.
As I’m talking to you now, I’ve already sent SGM the kids’ school fees that’ll be paid in September.
I don’t have to worry about it again.
    It helps me plan myself.
Do everything possible to pay school fees before resumption. You won’t know what you’re doing until money goes on leave from your side.

    7. Strive to have passive income.
Something that can generate at least ₦3-5k every day.
No matter what try and get something like that.
It will save you from a lot of stress.

    8. See the friends and circle your kids will have tomorrow everything depends on the school they attend.
This one is very, very important.
Even if you don’t have money, find a way to send your children to one of the best schools.
You won’t realise what you’re doing until they come of age.

9.I learnt this one from my dad always have family meetings.
You, your wife, and your kids no matter how small they are.
Discuss problems, solutions, and way forward.
Allow the kids air their opinions.

    Ask the kids:
Is there something mummy and daddy are doing that they don’t like?

    Same thing with your wife.
Talk about what you both can do to have a stable and loving family.
This helps in uniting the family.

Every month is fine or even every 6 months.
Just make it a habit and a culture.
It’ll become a memory that sticks for the kids, and for you and madam too.

Everyone’s opinion in the family matters.
And as the man, it’s your job to hear everybody’s opinion and choose the best way to run the family.

This isn’t just for the man alone madam can initiate it too. There’s no perfect formula, yes. But this one I listed? It works every time.
I repeat if you try it, you’ll save yourself a lot of unnecessary headache and stress.
You can add yours... enjoy your weekend.

  • Malo Gusto on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez:

"They play very well. They help the team a lot. They are talented. They show this every game. We are very happy to have these type of players. We just have to continue to build something together."

  • *My name is Tomorrow "not my real name",

I own a company, none of my staff knew me as the owner except the Manager and the Secretary. (I had told them not to disclose my identity).*
    *I don't usually go for a visit.*

*One day, I visited the company and I saw my Ex wife, who had thrown me out of my own house. I asked the Manager and he said she is one of their staff.*
*I instructed the Manager to promote her to Personnel Officer, gave her a car, a bungalow, garden boy, security and other emoluments. An undeserved position though, of which he did.*

*A month later, I went there as a job seeker. As soon as she saw me with my application and CV, she rejected me outright, threw my application at my face, and immediately retrieved it from the floor and tore it to pieces and threw it into the waste bin. After regaling me with all my past, she informed me I would never get employment nor an opportunity at the company. Also, she swore on heaven and the earth that all this would happen. She boldly declared that the only way I’d get employment at the company was over her cold dead body*.

*I came the following day with another application and went on my knees to beg her, but she refused and spat into the waste bin and said even if I was the only bridge to cross to come to work, she would opt for a boat and called the security men to throw me out, so I left.*

*One day, I went to the company in my real identity and entered her office with the Manager who introduced me to her, she quickly knelt down crying and begging me, "the proposed rejected bridge.” She informed me that her entire family depended on her for survival. If her employment was terminated, she added, life would be absolutely horrendous not only for her but also her entire family. She even promised to remarry me.*
*We both stood there motionless and speechless which left the Manager befuddled.*

*Many things started racing in my head. Should I call for the police? Should I strip her of her current position to her former position? Should I cancel the unqualified benefits given to her? Should I accept such a woman back?*
*I'm still standing at her office indecisive.*

*If you were in my shoes, what would you do?*

    *THERE IS TOMORROW*
*Whenever you are dealing with people, you must always remember that there is tomorrow and you might néed them tomorrow. You may end up needing help from the people who are asking for your help today, so help as much as you can.*

*Life is like a moving wheel, sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down. Sometimes we destroy the bridges that we might need to help us cross back tomorrow. Sometimes we treat people as though there is never going to be tomorrow. We sometimes act as though we will never need help from anyone. Remember there's tomorrow.*

*Joseph helped the cupbearer in prison and later the cupbearer connected Joseph with Pharaoh. Imagine how Portiphar's wife felt when she heard that Joseph was now the Governor of Egypt, after she had falsely accused him. The brother who sold Joseph away ended up being fed by him. Don't ever think of going to the extreme with your offenders, they might be rescuers tomorrow. Always remember that there is tomorrow and it will surely come.*
*The little help you give to people today, will profit you tomorrow.*
*May the good Lord touch your heart to live your life knowing that there is tomorrow.*

*In Everything You Do, Always Remember That,There Is Tomorrow.*

*Have a blessed Sunday ahead, Pls share to others for them to know that THERE IS TOMORROW

  • Help, Lord, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race. Everyone lies to their neighbor, they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts. May the Lord silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—

    Psalms 12:1-3 (NIV)

  • *WORDS OF ELDERS*

    1. “Beware of the naked person who offers you clothes!

    2. “When one’s goat get missing, the aroma of a neighbor’s soup get suspicious”.

    3. “The future belongs to the Risk takers, Not the Comfort seekers!"

    4. “A deaf husband and a blind wife are always a happy couple!"

    5. “The first person you think of in the morning, or last person you think of at night, is either the cause of your happiness or your pain!"

    6. “Be careful who you trust! Salt and Sugar are both white!"

    7. “Kindness is like butter, it works best when you spread it around!"

    8. “The walls don’t only have ears, they now see!"

    9. “Sometimes, you have to play the role of a fool to fool the fools who think they are fooling you!"

    10. “If you have a mom, there is nowhere you are likely to go where a prayer has not already been!"

    11. “A harsh man tells a woman to stop talking, but a wise man tells her that her mouth is extremely beautiful, when her lips are closed!"

    12. “No matter how long the night, the day is sure to come!"

    13. “A woman’s greatest perfume is the fragrance of her man’s success!"

    14. “A wise person knows that there is something to be learned from everyone!"

    15. “It requires wisdom to understand wisdom.

    16. The music is nothing, if the audience is deaf”!

    17. “None of us is as smart as all of us. Work together to achieve!!

    18. If you cannot be a bridge to connect people, then do not be a wall to separate them.

    19. If you cannot be a light to brighten people's good deeds then do not be darkness covering their efforts.

    20. If you cannot be water to help people's crops sprout, then do not be a pest destroying their crops.

    21. If you cannot be a vaccine to give life, do not be a virus to terminate it.

    22. If you cannot be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove their sadness.

    23. We can always be each others keeper

Let us resolve to heal the world by making it a better place. God bless you richly today and always.
