  • OUR WEAPONS AGAINST THE BATTLE OF DESTINY.*

SCRIPTURE: And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. JOB 1:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is nothing that disarms darkness like light.
Yesterday, we saw that the devil is at war against the lives and destiny of men. We also saw that the major aims of the battles of destiny are both the distraction of focus and the destruction of life and destiny.

Yesterday, we also saw Temptation as one of the weapons the enemy deploys against the destiny of men. Today, we shall be looking at affliction as another weapon the enemy uses to attack the destiny of men.

The devil uses affliction to battle people’s destinies. That way, the time the afflicted person should have been using to pursue meaningful things will be used to service afflictions.
Sometime ago, during the Ebola virus outbreak, many people were quarantined. If the affliction remained on them for six months, they would remain in that isolation for six months. Imagine an active businessman being quarantined for six months; whatever he was doing would be grounded for as long as he remains in that quarantine condition.
Today, I declare the termination of any affliction in your life, in Jesus’ Name.
Now, how do you handle the battles of destiny?

    1. Cast your cares upon God (1Peter 5:7, Matthew 11: 28). Cast your cares upon the Lord. Refuse to carry them anymore. If the devil has attacked your destiny with affliction, come to a point where you hand over everything to God, and He will bring you out of that affliction.

    2. Use Light to battle. There is nothing that disarms darkness like light. Look for relevant scriptural lights out of Scripture, preached messages and printed books, that can deliver you from the trap of temptation, affliction, opposition, depression, deprivation and rejection. Light causes you to prevail over the forces of darkness (John 1:5).

Beloved, no matter what the condition is, don't battle with tears. Any soldier crying on the battlefield is not qualified to fight. There is a difference between soldiers and soldier ants. Soldier ants are trampled upon, but soldiers waste the enemy. You don't battle with tears and sentiments. Our weapon of warfare – General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG), Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG), Anti-aircraft rifle, is the Word of God. Carry it and fire it brutally at the enemy and all his agents.

Remember this✍🏼: There is nothing that disarms darkness like light.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Refuse to cry for the devil
    2. Locate relevant lights that can handle your battles and install them into your spirit against the days of confrontation.

PRAYER🙏🏼: Lord, thank You for being a Wall of Fire around my life and destiny. I command every arrow of affliction aimed at me to catch fire and return to its sender. I am untouchable, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: The Battle of Destiny

    DAILY BIBLE READING: Psalm 124-126

QUOTE: Never hold anyone responsible for your success or failure in life. If you want to reach your destiny, be responsible. Culled from, Road Marks to Destiny by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Horses can sleep standing up.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Every trap set for you by the enemy is hereby destroyed in Jesus Name.

  • *INTERCESSION FOR MY FAMILY*

    TEXT: PS 22:22-31

At salvation, God positions us as saviors! (Obad 1:21). This is especially to our families, friends and neighbors! We become the spiritual covering and intercessors for them. Yes, our prayers over our families could save them and us a lot of trouble. It can also open up a lot of blessings for even those of our household whom we don’t feel qualify for heavens best! God intentionally placed us in our homes to be his salt and light. It is our duty to preserve, sweeten, guide and brighten our families!

    *Prayer points:*

    1. Pray, ‘Father I thank you for my family. I thank you for every mercy and grace you have shown us. I believe you for a greater blessing in my home this year in Jesus name!’
    2. Lev. 26:40-42. Pray, ‘Father tonight, I sanctify my family from every ancient altar, ancestral iniquity, covenants, collective and individual sins, and judgments by the blood of Jesus!’
    3. Pray, ‘By blood and by fire, I cast down every demonic strongholds, familiar spirits, monitoring spirits, and evil strongmen oppressing the destiny of my family. I destroy your activities in Jesus name!
    4. Pray, ‘Tonight I release every member of my family to a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ. I call them to salvation! No one in my family will serve sin and Satan. No one related to me will go to hell in Jesus name!
    5. Pray, ‘I bring everyone in my family into the blessings of God. I bring them into the prophetic covering that is over my life! I command their dreams, desires, requests and pursuits to materialize in Jesus name!’
    6. Pray, ‘O God, arise over my family, and let the regime of the spirits of poverty, infirmity, bareness, near success syndrome, confusion, etc. be over in Jesus name!
    7. Gen. 12:1-4. Pray, ‘This year, let men of renown begin to be released in my family. My father’s house must have a name in Business, Sports, Academics, Politics, Religion etc. Outstanding personalities must arise!’
    8. Pray, ‘Tonight, I destroy every program of the devil that is producing seasonal sicknesses, yearly deaths, and repeat calamities in my family! I terminate every evil work in my family, in Jesus name!’
    9. Pray, ‘Tonight, I destroy by fire, anyone using witchcraft, sorcery, curses and evil manipulations to hurt my family. I command a hundred fold return of their evil to them! I reverse what they have done in Jesus name!
10 . Pray, ‘By the covenants and prophecies of God overs my life I proclaim a new season of release, open heavens, family peace and noticeable prosperity in my life and marital family in Jesus name!’

  • Gabriel Afolayan, a talented Nollywood actor and singer, shocked fans when his marriage hit the rocks. He had married his longtime girlfriend, Adebanke, in a quiet but elegant ceremony that many thought was the beginning of a beautiful love story. For a while, everything seemed perfect between them, with the couple sharing happy moments on social media and appearing deeply in love.

However, in 2020, rumors began circulating that their marriage was in trouble. The whispers quickly turned into full-blown scandal when it was alleged that Gabriel’s wife had cheated on him with a close associate in the entertainment industry. The man she was rumored to have had an affair with was popular music executive and socialite, Banky W, although neither party publicly confirmed the affair. The news broke the internet and fans were divided, with many expressing shock and disappointment.

Sources close to the couple claimed that Gabriel had discovered the betrayal through leaked chats and phone conversations, which deeply hurt him. Though he tried to handle the matter privately, the scandal eventually spilled into the public, and Gabriel, known for his calm and respectful nature, quietly walked away from the marriage without much public drama.

Despite the heartbreak, Gabriel focused on his career and stayed off the spotlight for a while, choosing peace and healing over media battles. His silence was seen as a sign of maturity, and many commended him for not letting the scandal define him. To this day, Gabriel Afolayan has remained focused on his craft, proving that even in the face of personal pain, true strength is in how you rise.

  • SETTING YOUR WORLD ON FIRE!

    TEXT: EZEK 10:1- 7

Lighted men become God’s firebrands! Everywhere a lighted man goes, he produces heat and burning! A lighted man quickly becomes an agent of the consuming fire of God! A lighted man also becomes a distributor of the fires of God! When we contact, connect to, or collect the fires of God, we are expected to go out and spread it within the vicinity! It is our ministry as fire carriers that checks the activities of wickedness, turns many to righteousness and drives the devil into frustration!

    Prayer points:

    1. Pray, ‘Father I thank you for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for his power and fire! Tonight, I receive his fire baptism! I receive the deposit of divine fire upon my head! I receive a new prophetic tongue! My words will not fall to the ground!’
    2. Lk 11:36. Pray, ‘In Jesus name, I allow the fire & light of God to enter into every area of my life! I refuse any area to harbor anything dark! No sickness, bondage & shame shall abide in my life! Let the fire consume it now! Fire!
    3. Jn 5:35. Pray, ’O Lord, by your fire, make me a burning and a shining light in my generation! My destiny must shine forth! Many shall come to the brightness of my rising! My grace cannot be ignored! I will not die small!’
    4. Isa 9:8. Pray, ‘Lord, let the light and fire in me spread to my father’s house! Father, light up my family! Let the covenant that covers me cover them! Let your glory and your blessing overtake them because of me! Visit us by fire!’
    5. Jer 23:28-29. Pray, ‘Tonight, every negative dream and prophecy against my life: catch fire! I cancel every word released against my life through prophetic witchcraft and dream manipulations! I cancel every negative word!’
    6. Judg 15:4-5. Pray, ‘In Jesus name, I enter as a blazing fire into the field of the wicked! I burn up every work of hell! I deny the devil any harvest in the church, in my city and in my family! Every planting of the devil; catch fire!’
    7. 2 Kgs 1:10-12. Pray, ‘O God, there are people who need to know that I am yours! Lord, answer them by the judgment of fire! Tonight, let the fire of judgment go forth and destroy every agent of hell set against my destiny!’
    8. Pray, ‘O’ Lord, you have sent me to light up many lives! I receive your anointing to minister your word! I receive your grace to turn men from darkness into light! Miracles and wonders will follow my life in Jesus name!
    9. Ps 104:4. Pray, ‘This year, everywhere I go, let there be a God encounter! Let the mantles that I have contacted begin to speak! Let every grace in this house be manifest in me! I am anointed! There is fire in my hand! Fire!’
    10. Pray, ‘O Lord, this revival will never end! This grace will never diminish! Darkness will never return to my life! Strange people and forces will not quench my fire! I receive your covenant of unending grace in Jesus name!’

TOPIC: OUR WEAPONS AGAINST THE BATTLE OF DESTINY

Soldier ants are trampled upon, but soldiers waste the enemy. You don't battle with tears and sentiments. ASSIGNMENT(S):
    1. Refuse to cry for the devil
    2. Locate relevant lights that can handle your battles and install them into your spirit against the days of confrontation.

  • 7 Mental Upgrades to Start Making Money by Breaking Poverty Indoctrination

I have been providing one-on-one coaching for close to 15 years now. When it comes to money, I’ve observed that most people have certain mental limitations that keep them from breaking into financial breakthroughs through what they do.

In this short article, let me show you 7 of these limitations along with quick tips on what to do to break out and start winning financially.

    1. Upgrade from Scarcity Thinking to Opportunity Awareness
    Stop believing there's “not enough.”
Start training your mind to believe there is so much money to make and you have all it takes to make the money you need.
Start training your mind to spot overlooked opportunities.
Wealth flows to those who solve problems, not those who avoid them.

Just to add, jealousy often stems from a scarcity mindset, the belief that someone else's success limits your own opportunities.
But when you have an abundance and opportunity driven mindset, you won’t feel jealous. Instead, you’ll celebrate others' success, knowing that more success creates more opportunities for everyone.

    2. Upgrade from Waiting for Permission to Taking Initiative
Poverty conditioning teaches obedience and approval-seeking.
Wealth mindsets are built on bold decision-making and self-leadership.
Don’t wait. Move. Test. Adjust. Win.
People who take initiatives always end up making more money because money follows movement. ~ Dr. Joybert Javnyuy

    3. Upgrade from Passive Learning to Income-Driven Execution
Poor mindsets collect information with no transformation.
Wealth builders turn every insight into income-producing action.
Your notebooks are full. It's time your wallet is too.
This can only happen when you stop learning passively and start taking actions on what you have been learning.
Learners do not make money. Money making is for those who deploy knowledge acquired.

    4. Upgrade from Money Avoidance to Money Mastery
Poverty indoctrination makes you feel guilty about desiring more money.
Do not confuse loving money so much that you're willing to make it at all costs, even through unethical means, with desiring more money so you can use it as a tool to improve your life and positively impact others.
The wealthy learn how money moves, grows, and multiplies. ~ Dr. Joybert Javnyuy
Study money like your life depends on it, because it does.
Religious people avoid money and spiritual people master money and use it to serve humanity.

    5. Upgrade from Skill Hoarding to Value Packaging
It’s not about how much you know, it’s about how you package what you know for impact and income.
Knowledge is potential wealth. Packaging is real wealth.
You can only monetize the knowledge you have packaged. ~ Dr. Joybert Javnyuy

    6. Upgrade from Victim Stories to Ownership Identity
Poverty loves blame. Wealth loves responsibility.
Even when it's not your fault, it is your future.
Take the driver’s seat. Rewrite the narrative.
Poor people are experts in blaming and complaining and wealthy people are experts in taking responsibility and initiative.

    7. Upgrade from ‘One Day’ Thinking to 90-Day Wealth Projects
Stop dreaming “someday.” Start committing to bold 90-day goals.
Stop saying, "I will start this in the next few days." Start saying, "In the next 90 days, I will have completed this, achieved that, and accomplished those goals."
Every quarter should have a money mission.
Time doesn’t build wealth, execution does.
Poor people think in terms of time only, while wealthy people have projects for every season.

  • Oh Gracious Lord, Weaver of Words and Crafter of Courage, I come before You with open hands and an earnest heart. In my moments of doubt, remind me of Your unending faithfulness. Fill my mouth with Your wisdom and grace, that I may speak life into the shadows of this world. Stand with me, as You stood with Moses, and guide my words to mirror Your love. Let my voice be Your vessel, and my story a beacon of Your truth. For in the sharing of our journeys, we find the strength of Your Spirit weaving through us. In the precious name of Jesus, I lift this prayer. Amen.

  • My Husband's Wife Is His Mother (EPISODE 1)

If someone had told me that I wouldn’t get to spend my wedding night alone with my husband, I would have laughed in disbelief. But that night—my wedding night—was the first time I realized something was very wrong. And it all started with the sound of her slippers.

    Flip. Flop. Flip. Flop.

I was in the bathroom, changing into my silk nightgown. I had planned this night down to the details. Candles. Perfume. The perfect playlist. After all the stress of wedding planning, I just wanted to hold the man I loved and breathe in the beginning of forever.

    But the knock came.

It was soft at first. Then firmer. Then the voice.

“Oya open the door jare, make I lie down small. My waist is paining me.”

    My husband laughed. Laughed.

“Shey I told you my mama doesn’t like hard beds,” he said, already heading for the door.

I peeked out from behind the bathroom door, confused. “What do you mean lie down?”

“She’ll just rest a bit. Don’t worry,” he said, brushing it off like it was normal. “She does this when she travels. The bed in the guest room is too small.”

“But... this is our wedding night,” I whispered, heart sinking.

He looked at me like I was being unreasonable. “Babe, it’s just for a bit. You know she’s old.”

Old? His mother was barely 60. Active. Loud. Controlling. She ran a shop, led the women’s group in church, and made sure to remind everyone that she raised her son "without a single coin from any useless man."

Still in disbelief, I watched as he opened the door and let her in.

She entered like she owned the room. Like she built it with her hands. She didn’t even look at me. Just removed her wrapper, fluffed a pillow, and slid into the middle of our bed.

    My side.

“Put off that candle abeg,” she said, fanning herself. “You want to burn this house?”

I stood there frozen. My chest tightened. I looked at my husband, silently begging for support.

He sat beside her and smiled. “She’s just tired. Tomorrow, everything will be normal.”

    But it wasn’t.

I barely slept that night. The three of us lay in that bed like sardines in a can. Every time I shifted, her leg brushed mine. At one point, she even snored. Loudly. I turned to face the wall, hot tears forming in my eyes.

This wasn’t what I signed up for.

    ---

The next morning, she woke before us and clapped her hands loudly.

“Wake up, wake up! This is not honeymoon o, this is my son’s house. I want to boil water.”

I sat up, dazed. My husband stretched lazily and gave her the same smile he gave me during our vows.

“Mama, you want me to carry the pot?”

    “Ehen, now you’re talking.”

And just like that, they left me in the room. Alone. In my own marriage.

    ---

Later that day, I tried to talk to him.

“Why did she sleep in our room?” I asked gently, not wanting to seem disrespectful.

He sighed. “Babe, you know how close I am to my mom. It’s just for a while. She said she wants to be around until you're strong enough to manage things.”

“I’m not sick,” I replied, trying to control my voice. “And we just got married. Shouldn’t we be alone?”

He shrugged. “Just give her time. She’s adjusting too.”

    Adjusting? She was adjusting?

    What about me?

    ---

That evening, it happened again. She brought her wrapper, pillow, and blanket. No questions asked. She even had the audacity to say, “Ah, I like this mattress. Very firm. Good for my back.”

I stood by the bed, still in my wrapper, and didn’t know what to do.

“Mama,” I tried to speak, “maybe you can try the guest room again? We just—”

She turned her head sharply. “You want to chase me away from my son’s room? Is it now a sin for a mother to sleep beside her child?”

    My husband kept quiet.

    Dead silence.

I looked at him, pleading with my eyes.

He avoided my gaze and said, “Let’s not make this a big issue tonight. We’ll talk about it tomorrow.”

    But tomorrow never came.

    ---

I started noticing little things. How she always sat between us when we watched TV. How she would call him to come lie down beside her during the day and rub her back. How she took over my kitchen and rearranged everything without asking. How she spoke to me like I was the house girl.

I wanted to be respectful. I was raised to honor elders. But this? This was not honor. This was intrusion. This was something else entirely.

A twisted triangle. A marriage with three corners.

And somehow, I was the outsider.

    ---

That night, I called my elder sister.

“Sis, she sleeps between us. Every night. She won’t leave.”

She paused. “What does your husband say?”

“Nothing. He acts like it’s normal. Like I’m overreacting.”

She hissed. “That’s witchcraft. Or madness. Or both.”

I laughed bitterly. “It’s not funny.”

“No, I know. But you need to take control before it gets worse.”

“How?” I whispered. “How do I fight a mother-in-law on her son’s bed?”

There was silence. And then her voice was firm. “You’re the wife. Start acting like it. Don’t let her settle.”

But it was already too late.

    She had settled.

She had brought her pillow. Her slippers. Her authority.

And on the first night of my marriage, I learned that love is not always a fairytale.

Sometimes, it’s a bed with three people—and one of them isn’t going anywhere.

  • The Man Who Loved Deeply: Arjunbhai’s Story

Arjunbhai Manubhai Patoliya was a devoted husband, a caring father, and a hardworking man originally from Vadiya, a village in Gujarat, India. In search of a better life, he moved to London, where he built a home with his beloved wife, Bharatiben, and their two young daughters.

Life in London wasn’t always easy, but Arjunbhai was known among friends as someone who smiled through struggles. He worked hard, loved harder, and kept his roots close. But fate had other plans.

    ---

In early June 2025, tragedy struck—Bharatiben passed away, leaving behind a grieving husband and two heartbroken daughters. Her dying wish was simple, yet sacred: she wanted her ashes immersed in her hometown river in Gujarat.

Arjunbhai, despite his own grief, honored that wish. He traveled thousands of miles back to Vadiya with her ashes, leaving his daughters temporarily in the care of relatives in London.

Back in his homeland, surrounded by mourning relatives, he carried out her besnu and other final rituals with a heavy heart. Every step was a tribute to the love they had shared.

    ---

On 12 June 2025, having fulfilled his wife’s last wishes, Arjunbhai boarded Air India Flight AI171 in Ahmedabad, bound for London. He was eager to reunite with his daughters—to hold them, to grieve with them, to begin rebuilding their lives.

But fate, once again, was cruel.

Just 30 seconds after takeoff, the aircraft crashed into a building near B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad. 241 people died that day. Only one person survived.

Among the victims was Arjunbhai Patoliya.

    ---

His two daughters in London—already mourning their mother—were now orphaned.

Friends and family were shattered. One friend said, “He was a pillar of strength for his daughters. He lived for his family. What happened is beyond cruel.”

His story spread across India and the UK, not just as a statistic, but as a reminder of the human cost of tragedy.

    ---

Arjunbhai’s life was one of devotion, responsibility, and quiet strength. He didn’t just bury his wife—he buried a part of himself, only to unknowingly walk into the arms of fate.

Now, his story is remembered as a heartbreaking symbol of love and loss—a man who honored every promise he made, until the very end.
