The harsh reality is, not everyone in your circle is in your corner. Some people hang around just to gather information, to observe your every move, and to smile in your face while handing over your struggles, secrets, and vulnerabilities to those who would love nothing more than to see you fail.

They’ll disguise their intentions with fake concern, check in on you just enough to seem caring, all while feeding the people who quietly celebrate your pain. They won't stab you in the back — they'll let someone else do it, and then pretend to be surprised. It's a slow, silent kind of sabotage, and the worst part is, you never see it coming until the damage is done.

So trust wisely. Guard your energy, protect your peace, and remember — loyalty isn't proven by words or years of knowing someone; it's shown in actions, especially when you're not around to defend yourself. The ones who truly care about you won’t use your life as gossip. Stay aware. Stay selective. And never confuse proximity with loyalty.

Be what you want to be, not what others want to see.

A Short Story With Morals.

On a certain day, a young boy who sold sweet bread was having a really bad sales. He had walked several hours under the scorching heat of the sun without anyone stopping him to buy a bread. He became frustrated, exhausted and angry.

Then he said to himself.
"I think I will take a little rest under a shade, and then I'll continue. I might get lucky and sell some bread"

He deliberately tried to ignore the situation to keep his hopes up.

As he wandered the streets, looking for a place to rest, an elderly woman stopped him. She uttered.

"You look so tired and weary. And it looks like you haven't sold a bread yet. Oh, poor child struggling under the burning sun"

The boy whispered.
"What do you suggest I do now, ma'am?"

The elderly woman said.
"You should give up already. As it stands now, it doesn't look like you'll sell a bread today. Just go home already. Or would you rather spend all day roaming around unnecessarily on the streets?..."

The boy remained speechless as he watched the elderly woman walk away. At that very instant, a young man who was standing nearby and had overheard the short conversation, walked up to the bread boy and said.

"I think she's right. You should quit already. Don't you see how exhausted you are? It's already a bad sales day for you and there's nothing you can do about it. Just go home now, otherwise you'll fall sick from excessive stress"

The boy suddenly felt discouraged and bewildered. With little or no hope of selling his bread, he decided to give up for the day. So, he turned and left immediately.

But no sooner had he left, than a man drove his car down the street, asking some group of people.

"Have you seen the kid who sells bread around the streets? I want to buy all his bread to feed the children in our orphanage"

Someone replied.
"I think he has already retired for the day"

Morals Of The Story:

Believe what your heart tells you, not what others say. And also, don't give up too fast just because you don't see it working. Sometimes, all it needs is a little bit more time. Exercise patience.

Everyone has anger from time to time, and understanding it and knowing how to handle it properly is important. Anger begins as a feeling and then manifests itself in words and actions.

You feel something, and it causes you to do or say something. Anger is not necessarily always a sin; however, what you choose to do with anger directly determines your quality of life.

All anger has the same effect on your life. It upsets you, causing you to feel pressure. Keeping anger locked inside can even be dangerous to your health. So, you must take responsibility for your anger and learn to deal with it.

As with all emotions, Satan tries to use and abuse our anger and lead us into sin. But we have the power to resist him.

The Bible does not teach that we are never to feel anger. It teaches that when we do get angry, we are not to sin. Rather, we are to manage or control our anger properly.

If you struggle with anger, ask God to help you process it and bring it to closure. You can be bitter or better—the choice is yours!

*PRAYER FOR TODAY*
Father God, You know everything about me. I come before You with a heavy heart, burdened by anger. I confess that I have allowed anger to consume me, and I ask for Your forgiveness. Grant me the strength to let go of this anger, to forgive those who have wronged me, and to find peace in Your presence. Help me to respond with love and compassion, rather than reacting in anger. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and guide me towards healing and forgiveness, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Nwamama Austino saying happy Sunday
