• UEFA Nations League-A Final is set between Portugal and Spain
Another mountain to climb. But remember this is not 2012 or 2008 or 2007 or 2016. Cristiano isn't alone now. Portugal has now stacked with stars thanks to himself who inspired this Portugal generation. They simply needs to play as a team. We have the best players in every department. We can win any team in the world. Absolutely no reason to fear Spain after we humbled Germany at their own home ground. Just bring them on NOW if you want!!!

    2. That is, a liter of petrol ⛽️ is costing 0.836 USD more in Zambia compared to Angola

    3. Angola is among Africa's Top 4 largest producers of crude oil in Africa, and ranked 18th globally in December 2024

    4. The country's production averages 1.2 Million Barrrels per Day (in 2024)

    5. Angola's daily consumption is estimated as about 150,000 barrels per day of oil

    6. Now, Angola exports has averaged 1.07 Million Barrrels per Day (in 2024) and generated 31.4 Billion USD

    7. Angola's top exports market for the crude oil include China (47%), Spain (8%), Netherlands (6%) India (6%) and France (5%)

    8. Now, Zambia imports nearly 2 Million MTs of petroleum products (2024 estimate), mainly from Middle East, nearly 7,000 KMs away worth nearly 1.8 Billion USD with a liter averaging 0.9 liter at landing (could slightly vary as this landing cost is my estimate)

    9. Now, even if Zambia was to import petrol from Angola at pump price (0.327 USD), it would still save about 0.6 USD (compared from importing from UAE).

    10. Zambia shares 1,110 KMs of border with Angola, and both are members of SADC and the distance between the two capitals us 2,300 KMs.
Intra Africa trade will play a big part in improving the living conditions of our people.

  • Spain Declares State of Emergency After Massive Power Blackout

Spain's Interior Ministry declared a state of emergency on Monday following a widespread power outage that affected much of the Iberian Peninsula. The blackout, which struck shortly after 10:30 a.m. GMT, disrupted major services across Spain and Portugal-halting trains, cutting phone signals, disabling traffic lights, and prompting panic buying in stores.

The emergency status will apply only to regions that formally request it. So far, Madrid, Andalusia, and Extremadura have asked the central government to take over public order and other responsibilities.
Cities including Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona, Seville, and Valencia were heavily impacted. People were trapped in lifts and metro stations, and chaotic scenes unfolded as evacuations took place across rail networks and underground systems. Traffic congestion surged in central Madrid due to non-functioning traffic lights.

Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez attributed the blackout to a "strong oscillation" in the European power grid, though the exact cause remains unknown. He urged the public to avoid speculation and to contact emergency services only when necessary. By Monday night, Sanchez announced that around half of Spain's electricity supply had been restored, with full recovery expected by Tuesday.

Portuguese grid operator REN pointed to a "rare atmospheric phenomenon" caused by extreme temperature fluctuations in Spain, warning that it could take up to a week to fully stabilize the grid.

Airports were also affected, with multiple delays and cancellations reported. TAP Air, Portugal's national airline, advised travelers not to go to the airport until further notice.

The #Palestinian Ministry of Health in #Gaza has issued an urgent appeal to replenish medicine stocks in hospitals and primary care centers, warning that #Gaza's healthcare system is on the brink of collapse.

According to the ministry, 37% of essential medicines and 59% of medical consumables are completely out of stock.

Operating rooms, ICUs, and emergency departments are struggling to provide life-saving care as they are functioning with depleted stocks of life-saving drugs and medical essentials.

Meanwhile, 80,000 diabetic patients and 110,000 individuals with high blood pressure do not have access to medications in primary health centers. Moreover, 54% of cancer and hematology drugs are completely out of stock.

The ministry's statement stressed that "Israel's" ongoing closure of border crossings to medical supplies and pharmaceuticals is compounding the health situation, posing catastrophic challenges to delivering critical healthcare...

Palestinian Ahmad Manasra released from Israeli prison after nine years
    https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/4/10/palestinian-ahmad-manasra-released-from-israeli-prison-after-nine-years?traffic_source=rss

Ahmad Manasra, 23, has been released after completing nine-and-a-half-year sentence, lawyer says.

Israel continues to escalate against Hezbollah in Lebanon,
jeopardizing the ceasefire brokered by the United States last November. The ceasefire was supposed to end the confrontation that broke when
Hezbollah began launching attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces
(IDF) in support of Hamas in the Gaza Strip a day after the surprise
attack on Israel on October 7 of 2023. Israel, however, continued to
launch strikes against the group and kept troops in five posts in
southern Lebanon. The IDF escalated its operations against Hezbollah in recent weeks,
launching on March 28 its first strike against the Lebanese capital,
Beirut, since the ceasefire entered into effect. Israel said that the
strike was a response to two rockets that were launched from Lebanon at
the settlement of Kiryat Shmona earlier in the day, although Hezbollah
had denied responsibility. The strike hit a building used by Hezbollah’s drone unit in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, according to the IDF.Hezbollah refrained from responding, but this was not apparently enough to avoid further escalation by Israel. The IDF struck the southern suburbs of Beirut again on April 1, this
time killing Hassan Bdair, a senior commander of Hezbollah. Three other
people were killed in the strike.Bdair was allegedly a member of Hezbollah’s Unit 3900 and of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.Hezbollah again showed restraint, but to no avail. An Israeli strike
hit the coastal Lebanese city of Sidon early on April 4, killing Hassan
Farhat, the commander of Hamas forces in the western sector of Lebanon.
At least two other people were killed. The IDF said at the time that
Farhat advanced “numerous attacks” on Israeli civilians and troops.Israel escalated further on April 7, killing Muhammad Adnan Mansour,
the commander of a local Hezbollah rocket unit in a strike on the
southern Lebanese area of Taybeh. The next day, April 8, the IDF
launched a strike against an alleged air defense depot of Hezbollah
close to the northeastern Lebanese city of Baalbek. As a result of Israeli pressure, a senior Hezbollah official told
Reuters on April 8 that the group was ready to hold talks with the
Lebanese president about its weapons if the IDF withdraws from southern
Lebanon and stops its strikes. This was not, however, good enough for Israel, which on April 9
accused Hezbollah of rebuilding a weapons manufacturing site in Beirut.
The accusation is clearly meant to justify further escalation, including
the renewal of attacks on the Lebanese capital. All in all, the future of Hezbollah appears to be in limbo. With no
way to deter Israel, the group could reorganize its forces on a much
smaller scale, or even move away from the Iran-led Axis of Resistance.DEAR FRIENDS. The 225th Assault Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces announced a border violation, by Ukrainian armored groups to penetrates the famous “Dragon Teeth” towards Demidovka (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/demidovka) which protects Belgorod (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/belgorod) A video has been circulating since April 9, 2025, showing the Armed Forces of Ukraine desperately pushing new reinforcements across the border, after Kiev lost hope of capturing at least some Russian areas in Demidovka and Popovka (https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/popovka) It appears that Ukrainian forces are attempting a new offensive, after they were heavily destroyed with heavy losses in both settlements in the past two days, that Russian forces reportedly having completely recaptured Demidovka and Popovka, pushing back the enemy, leaving only a small area of forest, which Kiev forces are temporarily holding. Some desperate Ukrainian armored forces are moving from Sumy, but they are moving under the radar of Russian intelligence, and it is clear that Kiev’s tactics will soon be humiliated again!
According to the latest news from the front, Kiev suffered heavy losses of personnel and equipment from Demidovka and Popovka. Russian military channels released a video on April 8 showing infographic images captured by Russian intelligence of a failed Ukrainian assault troops on the forest area around Demidovka. More images show bodies of Ukrainian assault troops strewn about after failing to hold out, badly battered by Russian fire in the battle to retake Demidovka. Russian forces countered the advance with innovative tactics, particularly through the deployment of advanced UAV units, capable of carrying heavy weapons such as tank mines, as well as special weapons designed to hit enemy personnel and equipment. One of these successful attacks had a significant impact, with the “explosion” described as devastating. In addition to personnel, one of the few American M1A1 SA Abrams tank, the Ukraine only remaining extra armor, was thrown into the fray. Tank from the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were quickly disabled after penetrates Demidovka, now abandoned in Russian settlement, representing another armor not included in the video frame.
Behind the actions of the combat groups, there is hard work in the rear, in the field laboratories, where technological solutions are born that would be the envy of professional defense specialists. Special Forces "Anvar" showed their field laboratory in a video on April 9, about drone attacks on equipment and artillery strikes on Ukrainian infantry from the Demidovka and Popovka areas, when Ukraine tried to enter the Belgorod region last week. Today, almost every unit that has a UAV group is also a small design bureau. Not without reason, the Russian Defense Minister recently noted that the most effective robotic systems are born in the troops.Mirrored - MILITARY TUBE TODAY

Around 150 officers in the Israeli Navy have signed a letter addressed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Security Minister Israel Katz, Knesset members, and military leadership, demanding an immediate halt to the war on #Gaza.

Published by Israeli media, the letter criticizes the government's failure to secure the release of 59 captives still held in Gaza, warning of "the dangers faced by soldiers, the harm inflicted on Israelis, and the unequal sharing of burdens." Here we go again: ‘Russia certainly needs to take that seriously’ – State Dept. spox clings to the BLAME-RUSSIA PLAYBOOK “Nothing else can be discussed for the outcome until the shooting and the killing stops,” US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce declared — conveniently ignoring Ukrainian ceasefire violations. “This is not going to go on for six months or a year or anything else,” Bruce told reporters, as if she were calling the shots on how the conflict will unfold.Adding more of what she said today: ‘We wish her well’ – State Dept. spox on US ambassador to Ukraine’s resignation “She’s returning home, yes,” said US State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, confirming Bridget Brink’s resignation.

Press TV: Al Mayadeen English (Twitter) The #Palestinian Ministry of Health in #Gaza has issued an urgent appeal to replenish medicine stocks in hospitals and primary care centers, warning that #Gaza's healthcare system is on the brink of collapse. Israel continues to escalate against Hezbollah in Lebanon, jeopardizing the ceasefire brokered by the United States last November. The ceasefire was supposed to end the confrontation that broke when Hezbollah began launching attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in support of Hamas in the Gaza Strip a day after the surprise attack on Israel on October 7 of 2023. Israel, however, continued to launch strikes against the group and kept troops in five posts in southern Lebanon. The IDF escalated its operations against Hezbollah in recent weeks, launching on March 28 its first strike against the Lebanese capital, Beirut, since the ceasefire entered into effect. Israel said that the strike was a response to two rockets that were launched from Lebanon at the settlement of Kiryat Shmona earlier in the day, although Hezbollah had denied responsibility. The strike hit a building used by Hezbollah’s drone unit in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiyeh, according to the IDF.Hezbollah refrained from responding, but this was not apparently enough to avoid further escalation by Israel. The IDF struck the southern suburbs of Beirut again on April 1, this time killing Hassan Bdair, a senior commander of Hezbollah. Three other people were killed in the strike.Bdair was allegedly a member of Hezbollah’s Unit 3900 and of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.Hezbollah again showed restraint, but to no avail. An Israeli strike hit the coastal Lebanese city of Sidon early on April 4, killing Hassan Farhat, the commander of Hamas forces in the western sector of Lebanon. At least two other people were killed. The IDF said at the time that Farhat advanced “numerous attacks” on Israeli civilians and troops.Israel escalated further on April 7, killing Muhammad Adnan Mansour, the commander of a local Hezbollah rocket unit in a strike on the southern Lebanese area of Taybeh. The next day, April 8, the IDF launched a strike against an alleged air defense depot of Hezbollah close to the northeastern Lebanese city of Baalbek. As a result of Israeli pressure, a senior Hezbollah official told Reuters on April 8 that the group was ready to hold talks with the Lebanese president about its weapons if the IDF withdraws from southern Lebanon and stops its strikes. This was not, however, good enough for Israel, which on April 9 accused Hezbollah of rebuilding a weapons manufacturing site in Beirut. The accusation is clearly meant to justify further escalation, including the renewal of attacks on the Lebanese capital. All in all, the future of Hezbollah appears to be in limbo. With no way to deter Israel, the group could reorganize its forces on a much smaller scale, or even move away from the Iran-led Axis of Resistance.DEAR FRIENDS. Not without reason, the Russian Defense Minister recently noted that the most effective robotic systems are born in the troops.Mirrored - MILITARY TUBE TODAY To survive what is coming, read/study: https://thewayhomeorfacethefire.net (https://thewayhomeorfacethefire.net/)https://christs.net/The Gibraltar Messenger : https://gibraltar-messenger.net (https://gibraltar-messenger.net/) Al Mayadeen English (Twitter) Indirect talks between Iran and the #UnitedStates are set to begin in Oman on April 12, according to Iranian media reports. • France could recognise Palestinian state 'in June' — Macron
    https://jordantimes.com/news/world/france-could-recognise-palestinian-state-june-%E2%80%94-macron

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->PARIS — France plans to recognise a Palestinian state within months and could make the move at a UN conference in New York in June on settling the Israel-Palestinian conflict, President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview broadcast Wednesday.
"We must move towards recognition, and we will do so in the coming months," Macron, who this week visited Egypt, told France 5 television.
"Our aim is to chair this conference with Saudi Arabia in June, where we could finalise this movement of mutual recognition by several parties," he added.
"I will do it because I believe that at some point it will be right and because I also want to participate in a collective dynamic, which must also allow all those who defend Palestine to recognise Israel in turn, which many of them do not do," he added.
Such recognition would allow France "to be clear in our fight against those who deny Israel's right to exist -- which is the case with Iran -- and to commit ourselves to collective security in the region," he added.
France has long championed a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, including after the October 7, 2023 attack by Palestinian militants Hamas on Israel.
But formal recognition by Paris of a Palestinian state would mark a major policy switch and risk antagonising Israel which insists such moves by foreign states are premature.
Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar denounced French President Emmanuel Macron's announcement that Paris could recognise a Palestinian state by June, saying it would be a "prize" for terrorism.
"A unilateral recognition of a fictional Palestinian state, by any country, in the reality that we all know, will be a prize for terror and a boost for Hamas," Saar said on X late on Wednesday.
"These kind of actions will not bring peace, security and stability in our region closer -- but the opposite: they only push them further away."
Nearly 150 countries recognise a Palestinian state. In May 2024, Ireland, Norway and Spain announced recognition, followed by Slovenia in June, moves partly fuelled by condemnation of Israel's bombing of Gaza that followed the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel.
'No one will invest a cent'
France's recognition of Palestinian statehood "would be a step in the right direction in line with safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people and the two state solution," Palestinian minister of state for foreign affairs Varsen Aghabekian Shahintold AFP.

But France would be the most significant European power to recognise a Palestinian state, a move the United States has also long resisted.
In Egypt, Macron held summit talks with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Jordan's King Abdullah II and also made clear he was strongly opposed to any displacement or annexation in Gaza and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
US President Donald Trump has suggested turning Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East" with the Palestinians moving elsewhere -- a suggestion that has sparked bitter condemnation.
Macron responded that the Gaza Strip was "not a real estate project."
"Simplistic thinking sometimes doesn't help," he added, and, in a message to Trump said: "Perhaps it would be wonderful if one day it developed in an extraordinary way, but our responsibility is to save lives, restore peace, and negotiate a political framework."
"If all this doesn't exist, no one will invest. Today, no one will invest a cent in Gaza," he said.
