• Was working on uploading our supplements to the website when MI's Nobody featuring 2Face came up. Youtube Music has a way of randomly playing old hits cos I haven't heard that song in a while.

As I listened, it reminded me that 2Face in his prime was untouchable sha.
That voice. His lyrics. That face. His understated swag. His laid back demeanour.

    Kai kai. Heavily talented guy!

If he blesses you with a feature, that track was bound to explode. Like Street Credibility with 9ice. Like Nobody with MI. Like Ole with Sound Sultan.

King of the charts. Person wey do sotey dem comot 2Face as his name, give am 2Baba.

    A legend through and through.

I enjoyed the reminder that the man was and is still HIM! Forget. He is HIM!

  • The ‘Jubril from Sudan’ Theory — Madness or a Mirror?

AriseTv sound Journalist, Oseni Rufai takes us back to one of Nigeria’s wildest political stories — the infamous “Jubril from Sudan” theory.

It all kicked off in 2017 when then-President Buhari spent over 90 days in a London hospital. What began as a tweet from British MP Eric Joyce quickly spiraled into a nationwide conspiracy: “Buhari is dead. A body double is running Nigeria.”

Nnamdi Kanu of IPOB seized the moment, pushing the narrative that Buhari had been swapped out for a clone named Jubril from Sudan. This theory took over headlines, social media, and political chatter, prompting Buhari to publicly state in 2018: “It’s the real me, I assure you.”

But beneath all the chaos lies a more profound question: Why did so many people buy into this? Was it merely propaganda or a sign of the shattered trust between Nigerians and their leaders?

Rufai Oseni points out: “These theories don’t just appear out of nowhere—they stem from deep political scars, years of cover-ups, and a system that keeps the public in the dark.”

What’s your take on the Jubril theory? Truth or nonsense? Tag someone who debated this back in the day!

Infact if Harvard was a country in Africa, it would be 13th richest with $53 Billion in endowments. Perhaps this is why Trump disrespected African leaders. He doesn’t rate us at all. To him those leaders were just wasting his time and that is why I chose to walk on the path where I would be respected!

It is all playing before your very eyes, wake up Africa!”

  • SEEDS OF DESTINY, DUNAMIS CHURCH DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE
Follow The Kingdom Meal for your daily devotional..

    DATE: MONDAY, 14TH JULY 2025.

    TOPIC: THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FREEDOM.

SCRIPTURE: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. MATTHEW 11:12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is no rise without risk.

Bulldogs have been confirmed to be one of the most tenacious animals on earth. Their nose tilts backward as an adaptation mechanism, so that if they hold onto anything, they will still have enough air to breathe.

I heard a story about a little bulldog some time ago. The little bulldog would usually leave its compound to go and fight with a very big dog in another compound.
The big dog would beat it, and it would return home for that day. The following day, the little bulldog would return for another round of fight, and the big dog would beat it as usual. The little bulldog got up and went home but still came back again the next day for yet another round of fight. This cycle continues until one day, the big dog started running when it sighted the small bulldog approaching.

And I am sure, the big dog must be thinking, “I am not running because you are stronger than I; I am running because you are tireless, and I am wearied out. Okay, let me agree that you have won the fight so you can leave me alone.”

You see, the little bulldog accepted the responsibility to become victorious, and nothing could stop it. It was indeed victorious.

We live in a generation where many people don’t want to accept responsibility for anything. It is a symptom of mental bondage. When a person is mentally bound, he dodges challenges; he looks for a plastic life instead of a realistic life. That was the problem of the Israelites in the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land when they came out of Egypt. Every little challenge, they would complain to Moses. Their minds were so bound that they could not cope with the reality of a free life.

When people are bound mentally, they avoid anything that challenges their ability. But the truth is, there is no reach without stretch, and there is no rise without risk. For an airplane to fly in the sky, it takes risks. If you must fly high in life, you must embrace risks. And if you must survive, you must be ready to fight.

Beloved, even if a witch or a wizard is after your life, there is a degree of tenacity, violence, and iron will, that you can deploy and that witch or wizard will have no choice but to leave you alone.

Beloved, accept the responsibility to fight and win. Accept the responsibility to go up and stay up.

Remember this: There is no rise without risk.

    ASSIGNMENT(S):

    1. Always accept responsibility; refuse to dodge challenges.

    2. Trust God to help you handle any challenge facing you.

    3. Search the scripture and locate light (bullets) that will keep you in permanent victory.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to accept responsibility for my victory and success in life. I refuse to be swallowed up by the challenges of life. I triumph over the storms of life, Lord, In Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: MENTAL RENOVATION

DAILY BIBLE READING: Song of Songs 6-8

QUOTE: Never accept or give any excuse for being where you are…Accept responsibility. Culled from the book, 30 Secrets to the Top by Dr Paul Enenche.

AMAZING FACT: Lion cubs are born blind and depend on their mothers for survival.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the release of your liberty as you accept responsibility in this season in Jesus Name.

  • *Jimmy Swaggart Dies at 90. But the World Only Remembered the Prostitute.*

That was the SABC News headline. A man who preached to millions. A man whose music touched nations. A man whose ministry shaped generations. But the world summarized his legacy in one line:

    “Tele-evangelist caught with a prostitute.”

    Is it fair? No.
    Is it worldly? Yes.
But is it a warning to all of us? Absolutely.

The world is not forgiving. The world does not forget. We may have peace with God, but that doesn’t mean we’ll have peace with men. We may be cleared in the court of heaven, but public memory doesn’t cleanse easily.

This is not about Jimmy Swaggart. This is about you, about me, about all of us. Ministers. Leaders. Fathers. Carriers of weight in the Kingdom.

    The lesson?
Don’t mess up. Don’t play with sin. Don’t take grace as license.
People have a strange illusion that mere time cancels sin. It doesn’t. Time may blur details, but scandal sticks, especially involving a man of God.

Here’s a call to arms for ministers of the gospel

    1. Engage in real, ruthless accountability—not cosmetic check-ins, but real brotherhood.

    2. Guard your moral life like a man guards a nuclear code. If you fall sexually, your voice may still
echo but your credibility will collapse.

    3. Handle finances with fear and trembling. Don’t manipulate the gospel for profit.

    4. Build real systems around your life. Not fans. Not dependents. Not enablers. Build integrity into your daily decisions.

The measure of our anointing is not our gifting it’s our ability to remain holy when no one is watching.

Satan is patient. He doesn’t care if you preach 10,000 sermons as long as he can get you to collapse in one moment of compromise. And when it happens, your entire legacy is redefined in seconds.

If the story of Jimmy Swaggart teaches us anything it’s this: Pray to the One who is able to keep you from falling. And then, walk like you know the whole world is watching. Because they are.

God forgives. Men remember. Don’t be reckless with grace. Don’t gamble with your legacy.

Let this be a call. A warning. A fire alarm in the spirit. God still uses broken men but the consequences of public failure don’t vanish with anointed tears.

Stay clean. Stay low. Stay accountable. Stay burning.

  • IMPORTANCE OF SAYING SORRY IN A RELATIONSHIP AND MARRIAGE WHEN YOU ARE WRONG

Apologizing is an essential part of maintaining a healthy, strong, and resilient relationship or marriage. It serves as a bridge to healing, restoring trust, and building a deeper connection with your partner. Here’s why saying sorry is so important:

    WHY APOLOGIZE?

    1. Acknowledges hurt or wrongdoing
An apology signals that you recognize the pain or harm caused by your actions, showing that you care about how your partner feels.

    2. Shows empathy and understanding
It reflects an understanding of your partner's perspective and emotions, demonstrating that you value their feelings.

    3. Diffuses tension and conflict
Apologizing helps to de-escalate difficult situations, calming emotions and clearing the air for healthy communication.

    4. Rebuilds trust and credibility
A sincere apology demonstrates your willingness to take responsibility for your actions, which helps rebuild lost trust and re-establish credibility in your relationship.

    5. Demonstrates accountability and responsibility
Apologizing shows you are accountable for your actions, accepting responsibility rather than deflecting blame.

    6. Encourages forgiveness and healing
Saying sorry opens the door to forgiveness, allowing both partners to move forward and heal together.

    7. Strengthens communication and intimacy

    HOW TO APOLOGIZE EFFECTIVELY
    4
    1. Use the "3 Rs" of apology: Regret, Responsibility, and Remedy
Regret the hurt caused, take responsibility for your actions, and suggest a remedy for moving forward.

    2. Be sincere and genuine in your apology
Authenticity is key. A half-hearted apology can often do more harm than good.

    3. Listen actively to your partner's concerns
Give your partner space to express their feelings and truly listen without interrupting or defending yourself.

    4. Validate your partner's feelings and experiences
Acknowledge that your partner's feelings are valid, even if you didn’t intend to hurt them.

    5. Offer a specific solution or plan for change
Demonstrate your commitment to improving by offering a clear solution or changes you’ll make moving forward.

    6. Follow through on your commitments
An apology is only meaningful if it’s backed up by action. Ensure that you take steps to avoid repeating the same mistake.

    7. Show empathy and understanding
Show that you truly understand how your actions have impacted your partner, not just in words but in actions as well.

    8. Be patient and open to feedback
Healing takes time. Be patient with your partner and open to hearing how they feel, even if it takes time to forgive.

    TIPS FOR MEN

    1. Swallow your pride and admit fault
It takes strength to admit when you’re wrong. Let go of your ego to foster a deeper connection.

    2. Use "I" statements to take ownership
Phrases like “I am sorry for…” rather than “You made me do…” put the responsibility on you.

    3. Avoid making excuses or justifying
Resist the urge to explain away the mistake. Just apologize and focus on your partner’s feelings.

    4. Show vulnerability and emotional intelligence
Being open about your emotions builds trust and shows that you care about your partner's feelings.

    5. Be willing to make amends
Your partner should feel that your apology is sincere, so be prepared to make real changes if necessary.

    TIPS FOR WOMEN

    1. Communicate clearly and assertively
Share your feelings honestly and directly, avoiding passive-aggressive behavior or withholding.

    2. Specify what you need from your partner
Let your partner know what will help resolve the issue or what you need moving forward.

    3. Avoid being critical or judgmental
Offer a soft, loving approach when addressing the issue, rather than criticizing or pointing fingers.

    4. Show appreciation for your partner's apology
When your partner apologizes, acknowledge their effort and express gratitude for their sincerity.

    5. Encourage open and honest communication
Foster a space where both partners can freely express their feelings without fear of judgment.

If your words or actions have caused pain, it’s important to recognize that and apologize immediately.

    3. When you've made a mistake or error

If you’ve failed to keep your word, apologize and demonstrate that you can be trusted moving forward.

    5. When you've disregarded your partner's feelings
