  • > *Back to the Source*

Whatever situation you find yourself in, the safest place is always with your Lord.

Wealth is the lowest form of blessing — true blessings are sound health, a pure heart, and a firm Iman.

We weren’t created to make excuses; we were created to worship.

In all we do, no matter how little, no matter how distracted we get, we should strive to live a life of purpose — focused on pleasing the Giver of life after lifelessness.

May Allah grant us clarity and acceptance.

  • This is the man that African so-called presidents are having meetings with, rolling out red carpets for, and handing our nutritional sovereignty over to.

He says cows’ farts destroy the planet, so they need to change cows—by “change” he actually means they need to end cows so you don’t eat cow meat anymore but eat artificial meat instead.

He tells you to your face that artificial meat is already out there and that you can actually hop into a Burger King and eat some.

A man who thinks there are too many people on earth and that global population needs to be reduced through vaccines, reproductive health (reproductive terrorism), genetic engineering like the GMO ones, and so on, is the person you trust to help Africans with a healthy food supply?

Something is fundamentally wrong with some Africans. We are being decolonized!!! Wake up! #SayNOtoGMO #RejecttheGATESofHell and all his works. Wake up!

  • I think social media has ruined healthy relationships.
    Let me explain why.
Temptation is all over our phones these days and we have been programmed to “swipe left” because we believe there is always someone better.
The constant need to look elsewhere will leave people in a never-ending circle of unhappiness with their significant other.
I honestly think the opposite gender is way too accessible in the 21st century to each other within our mobile devices and men and women talk way too freely where boundaries are crossed blurring the lines of inappropriateness.
So unfortunately, the inappropriate conversations lead to affairs, and they cheat on the one they supposedly love.
People need to take a step back, put their phones down and focus on what’s in front of them, because some people don’t realize how lucky they truly are, to have what they currently have in a relationship.
We should stop giving people the attention who don't deserve it and start focusing on the ones that do.
Do me a favor and appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had.

  • EFFECTIVE WAYS TO CONTROL ANGER IN MARRIAGE WITHOUT DESTR0YING THE LOVE

Anger is a normal and healthy emotion that provides insight into how we perceive events. However, it’s essential to manage it positively, as uncontrolled anger can negatively impact your health and relationships.

If you're serious about enjoying peace in your home, here are 14 practical and proven ways to manage anger in your marriage without ruining the bond between you and your spouse:

    1. Think Before You Speak and Act: Take a deep breath and count to ten. Do whatever it takes to avoid lashing out and saying or doing something you’ll regret. Consider the consequences of your actions: will they be productive or only make the situation worse?

    2. Communicate Calmly: Once you’re calm, express what upset you. Resolve issues quickly by scheduling a time and place for a candid conversation, no matter how painful it may be.

    3. Avoid Hurting Your Spouse: Just because you feel hurt doesn’t mean you should retaliate. Revenge leads to more chaos, hurt, and deterioration in the relationship. Choose to be the bigger person.

    4. Avoid D€structive Behavior: Do not destr0y property, throw things, or become physically vi0lent. Mature individuals do not resort to physical harm.

    5. Sleep in the Same Bedroom: Always choose to sleep in the same room and on the same bed. Avoiding each other by sleeping on the sofa or in separate rooms can lead to drifting apart. Maintain an attitude of "I am not going anywhere; we must work things out."

    6. Use Silence Wisely: When you or your spouse are angry, learn to keep quiet or walk away. Refrain from speaking, as you may say something you’ll later regret.

    7. Keep Communication Open: Even if you walk away, keep lines of communication open. Don’t turn off your phone or isolate yourself without a way for your spouse to reach you.

    8. Learn to Apologize: If you want a peaceful and lasting marriage, learn to say “I’m sorry.” This simple phrase can save your marriage more often than saying “I love you.” Acknowledge when you are wrong, and avoid being defensive. Remember, your home is not a courtroom.

    9. Let Go of Grudges: Forgiveness is a powerful tool. Holding onto others' offenses only affects you. Find it in your heart to forgive and to ask for forgiveness. The sooner you do so, the better your life will be.

    10. Affirm Your Love: In moments of anger, tell your spouse, “I love you,” even if they don’t say it back. Assurances of love are needed during tense times. Remember that love is based on commitment and truth, not just feelings.

    11. Reconsider Decisions Made in Anger: Take the time to double and triple-check decisions made in anger. It’s best to refrain from making any decisions when you’re upset, as angry decisions often lead to regret.

    12. Show Acts of Affection: Go out of your way to please your spouse. Consider gestures that show care and affection, such as cooking for them, serving them, giving a thoughtful gift, doing chores, or leaving a loving note.

    13. Pray Together: In moments of anger, take a moment to pray, both for yourself and your spouse. Prayer can bring about understanding and healing.

    14. Seek Help When Needed
If anger is ruining your peace, affecting your health, or thr€atening your marriage, don’t suffer in silence. Talk to a licensed therapist or marriage counselor. Getting help is a sign of strength, not failure.

Learning to control anger can be challenging, but if these strategies don’t help, consider reaching out to a mental health specialist for support. If your anger feels unmanageable or leads to regrettable actions, it’s important to seek help.

May God give you the grace to control your anger

  • Change doesn’t happen overnight. But denial doesn’t save lives either.
If you still think people are not changing their lifestyle from the content I share here,
you’re not just doubting me—you’re doubting truth itself.
    And I get it.
It’s easier to mock what you don’t have the discipline to apply.
It’s easier to scroll past the truth and call it “too much” because you’re too comfortable being sick.
But like I’ve always said—I’m not here to babysit your comfort zone.
I’m not here to police your cravings.
I’m not here to argue over what “tastes nice” when your liver is crying and your stomach is always bloated.
I’m here to give you choice.
    Not force.
    Not shame.
Just raw, unfiltered truth that gives you power to choose.
To eat your way to health or sabotage your organs slowly.
To stay addicted to seed oils and seasoning cubes or break the chain and eat like someone who loves their body.
To live a life that honors your biology—or one that worships your tongue.
To stay stuck in ancestral laziness or break generational patterns with your plate.
Because at the end of the day, every meal is a vote.
Every bite is either medicine or poison.
And every “na only once” is a slow death being marketed as pleasure.
I will keep writing here for as long as I breathe.
    Not because I’m perfect,
but because I’ve seen what food can do.
I’ve seen people reverse diseases they were told would kill them.
I’ve seen women get their periods back.
    Men regain their strength.
    Children come alive again.
So no, this is not a page for entertainment.
    This is a movement.
    This is a mirror.
This is medicine disguised as captions.
And as for those who chant “all die na die”—
    No, my dear.
    All die is not die.
There’s death with purpose and death with regret.
There’s the death of the flesh, and there’s the daily death of your organs from nonsense you call food.
That slogan? It’s for people who have no plan.
People who have sold their power to addiction.
People who think discipline is suffering—until sickness humbles them.
    Choose well.
    Eat with sense.
    Move your body.
    Learn. Unlearn. Start again.
This is your life. Not a dress rehearsal.

    Weekday (17)

    Office: Psalter week 1

Mass and preface of the day

    Vestment: Green

    Today’s Rosary: The Joyful Mystery

    ENTRANCE ANTIPHON Cf. Ps 67: 6-7, 36

God is in his holy place, God who unites those who dwell in his house; he himself gives might and strength to his people.

    COLLECT

O God, protector of those who hope in you, without whom nothing has firm foundation, nothing is holy, bestow in abundance your mercy upon us and grant that, with you as our ruler and guide, we may use the good things that pass in such a way as to hold fast even now to those that ever endure. Through our Lord Jesus Christ…….

    -FIRST READING-

This people have sinned a great sin; they have made for themselves gods of gold.

A reading from the Book of Exodus (Exodus 32:15-24. 30-34)

In those days: Moses turned, and went down from the mountain with the two tables of the covenant in his hands, tables that were written on both sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. When Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “there is a noise of war in the camp.” But he said, “it is not the sound of shouting for victory, or the sound of the cry of defeat, but the sound of singing that I hear.” And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses’ anger burnt hot and he threw the tables out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it with fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the sons of Israel drink it. And Moses said to Aaron, “what did this people do to you that you have brought a great sin upon them?” and Aaron said, “Let not the anger of my lord burn hot; you know the people, that they are set on evil. For they said to me, ‘make us gods, who shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ And I said to them, ‘let any who have gold take off; so they gave it to me, and I threw it into the fire, and there came out calf.” The next day Moses said to the people, “you have sinned a great sin. And now I will go up to the Lord; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin.” So Moses returned to the Lord and said, “Alas, this people have sinned a great sin; they have made for themselves gods of gold. But now, if you will forgive their sin-and if not, blot me, I beg you, out of your book which you have written.” But the Lord said to Moses, “whoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. But now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you; behold, my angel shall go before you. Nevertheless, in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them.

    The word of the Lord.

    RESPONSORIAL PSALM Ps106:19-20.21-22.23 (R1b)

R/. O give thanks to the Lord for he is good.

    Or. Alleluia.

They fashioned a calf at Horeb,
And worshipped an image of metal,
    They exchange their glory
For the image of a bull that eats grass. R/.

They forgot the God who was their saviour,
Who had done such great things in Egypt,
Such wonders in the land of Ham,
Such marvels at the Red Sea. R/.

For this he said he would destroy them,
But Moses, the man he had chosen,
Stood in the breach before him,
To turn back his anger from destruction. R/.

    ALLELUIA James 1:18

Alleluia. Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth that we should be kind of first fruits of his. Alleluia.

    -GOSPEL

A grain of mustard seed becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air make nests in its branches.

A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 13:31-35)

At that time: Another parable Jesus put before the crowds, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.” All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable. This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.

    The Gospel of the Lord.

    TODAY'S REFLECTION

Faith is a gift that God bestows on human to enable us to understand in depth the ordinary events of life and the divine messages they carry. However, faith in the face of a great loss is almost superhuman. Martha has just lost a brother. Just like everyone else around her, she is grieving. But she believes that all powers have been given to Christ by God and whatever he says comes to pass. That faith sees her brother brought back to life. The toll that an unfortunate situation takes on us is determined largely by our faith in God. Faith in God turns unimaginable things to imaginable ones.

    PERSONAL DEVOTIONAL

‘Protect me, O God; I trust in you for safety. I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; all the good things I have come from you.” Psalm 16:1, 2

Lord, God of love remember all whose businesses are facing challenges. Intervene and grant new life to them.

Lord, I praise you as my perpetual benefactor and I call upon you as my merciful defender. Grant me total peace and joy.

    Let Us Pray,

O Lord, I am weak and broken, surrounded on all sides by corruption and perversion. Lord have mercy on me: protect me from my enemies who devour me, and guide me in the way of perfection. No matter what happens to me, whether it be an attack or a seduction, may my love for you protect me from falling into sin. May I live a holy life no matter what others do around me – Amen.

    PRAYER FOR NIGERIA IN DISTRESS

    All powerful and merciful Father,
You are the God of justice, love and peace.
You rule over the nations of the earth.
Power and might are in your hands and no one can withstand you.
We present our country Nigeria before you.
We praise and thank you for you are the source of all we have and are.
We are sorry for all the sins we have committed
and for the good deeds we have failed to do.
    In your loving forgiveness,
keep us safe from the punishment we deserve.
Lord, we are weighed down not only by uncertainties,
but also by moral, economic and political problems.
Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to you,
    Our God of infinite goodness,
    our strength in adversity,
    our health in weakness,
    our comfort in sorrow;
be merciful to us your people.
Spare this nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom.
Bless us with your kingdom of justice, love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Amen.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ……. -FIRST READING- This people have sinned a great sin; they have made for themselves gods of gold. A reading from the Book of Exodus (Exodus 32:15-24. 30-34) In those days: Moses turned, and went down from the mountain with the two tables of the covenant in his hands, tables that were written on both sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. For this he said he would destroy them, But Moses, the man he had chosen, Stood in the breach before him, To turn back his anger from destruction. R/. ALLELUIA James 1:18 Alleluia. A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 13:31-35) At that time: Another parable Jesus put before the crowds, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” He told them another parable. TODAY'S REFLECTION Faith is a gift that God bestows on human to enable us to understand in depth the ordinary events of life and the divine messages they carry. PERSONAL DEVOTIONAL ‘Protect me, O God; I trust in you for safety. I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Lord; all the good things I have come from you.” Psalm 16:1, 2 Lord, God of love remember all whose businesses are facing challenges. Intervene and grant new life to them. Lord, I praise you as my perpetual benefactor and I call upon you as my merciful defender. Grant me total peace and joy. Let Us Pray, O Lord, I am weak and broken, surrounded on all sides by corruption and perversion. Lord have mercy on me: protect me from my enemies who devour me, and guide me in the way of perfection. No matter what happens to me, whether it be an attack or a seduction, may my love for you protect me from falling into sin. May I live a holy life no matter what others do around me – Amen.
