*The unseen crisis facing Nigerian men (moment Otunba Kunle Akinyele collapsed)*

    5th May 2025.

*When Otunba Kunle Akinyele, a respected hotelier in Lagos, slumped and died at his wife’s 60th birthday thanksgiving, the nation gasped in disbelief. One moment, he was celebrating life and love; the next, he lay lifeless at the altar of joy*. The video is haunting — *a man gesturing, gasping, reaching for help in a sacred space, surrounded by those he loved but alone in his final battle.*

This was not just a death. It was a metaphor of silent suffering, buried exhaustion, and what men have come to normalise in the name of strength.

Akinyele’s case is not isolated. It is one of many chilling examples of how Nigerian men, particularly in their mid- to late years, are collapsing under the weight of responsibilities, unspoken pain, and undiagnosed illnesses.

According to the World Health Organisation, men in sub-Saharan Africa, including Nigeria, are 2.4 times more likely to die prematurely from preventable causes than women. This alarming disparity is fuelled by cultural and behavioural factors: men are less likely to seek medical help, more likely to suppress emotional turmoil, and often glorify suffering in silence. In Nigeria, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, and untreated mental health conditions are among the leading causes of sudden deaths in men.

So This Happened (215) Reviews Death Of Lagos...

In 2019, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya—admired for his strength and spiritual leadership—passed away quietly after years of enduring deep emotional losses and reportedly ongoing health complications. His resilience was legendary, but it masked what many now see as untreated grief, intense stress, and likely silent medical conditions.

Then came the sudden death of veteran broadcaster Ayo Oduleye, better known as MC Loyo, who slumped while compering an event in Ibadan. His charm and humour lit up stages, but in the blink of an eye, the microphone fell silent. Just like that.

Similarly, the passing of Mr Ibu (John Okafor) in early 2024, after months of battling illness, reminded the country of how many male entertainers struggle financially and physically behind the scenes, putting on a show while their bodies deteriorate.

Masculinity, when warped, can become a silent weapon—not just against others, but against oneself.

Globally, the story remains the same. In 2014, beloved comedian Robin Williams died by suicide, a victim of masked depression. And in 2022, cricket legend Shane Warne died suddenly of a heart attack, a casualty of silent coronary disease and an overstretched lifestyle.

Yet while statistics shock and headlines haunt, the everyday grind of the average Nigerian man tells an even sadder tale.

Take Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital—the city that never sleeps, and where many men now barely do. A significant number of working-class men reside on the mainland or in Ogun border towns like Mowe, Ikorodu, Sango Ota, or Ibafo but must commute to the Island for work—a journey that often begins by 4:00 a.m. and ends by 9:00 p.m. on return.

This is no exaggeration. Studies from the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority reveal that Lagosians spend an average of four to six hours daily in traffic—with many men doing these five to six times a week. That is over 1,400 hours a year lost in gridlock—time stolen from rest, from family, from reflection.

For these men, the day begins before the rooster crows. They rush into overcrowded buses, endure fumes of frustration, only to return home when their children are already asleep. There is no room for hobbies, hardly any time for checkups, no outlet for pain. Sleep is a luxury. Rest is a myth. And joy is rationed, like fuel in a scarcity season.

This modern man is constantly running on empty—physically present but emotionally absent, financially committed but spiritually depleted. And society applauds his hustle, without asking at what cost.

The idiom says, “Heavy is the head that wears the crown,” but what if the crown is invisible, made not of gold but of expectations, bills, unspoken grief, and sacrificial silence?

Men are praised for providing, for showing up, for being “rocks”. But even rocks erode—silently, slowly, and then all at once. The greatest tragedy is not that they die, but that they are dying unseen.

Consider the tragic case of a 42 year old engineer in Port Harcourt who collapsed at his workstation after weeks of working overtime to meet project deadlines. His colleagues described him as “dedicated to a fault”, but his sudden death revealed the dangers of ignoring signs of burnout and hypertension.

Another heartbreaking example is the story of a young entrepreneur in Enugu who passed away in his sleep after complaining of chest pains for weeks. Despite his family’s pleas, he refused to visit a doctor, citing his busy schedule and financial obligations. His autopsy later revealed undiagnosed cardiovascular disease—a silent killer that could have been managed with timely intervention.

One unforgettable story is that of Samuel Okwaraji, the gifted footballer and patriot who gave everything to his country on the football pitch. In 1989, during a World Cup qualifier against Angola in Lagos, Okwaraji collapsed and tragically died of congestive heart failure at just 25 years old. His life, so full of promises, was cut short under the intense demands of national expectation. The harsh conditions of the game that day, combined with the immense physical and psychological pressures he faced, ultimately proved too much.

These stories compel us to ask: What are we doing to ourselves in the name of strength? Why does the world celebrate silent suffering but frown upon seeking help?

Dr Salawu Abiola, a psychiatrist at the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital in Yaba, offers critical advice for men navigating these pressures. He emphasises the importance of prioritising rest, adequate sleep, and regular health checkups. “If you work and die today, someone will replace you at the workplace, but no one replaces you in the family,” he warns.

Abiola advocates setting realistic goals, managing time effectively, and creating moments of joy and relaxation amid life’s challenges. He also highlights the need for men to engage in positive activities, such as exercise, hobbies, and socialising with supportive people, to release built-up tension and foster mental well-being.

Check your vitals before you check your wallet. Monthly profit means nothing if your heart gives out unexpectedly. Your strength is not in how much you carry but in how well you manage your load. Therapy is not weakness. It is a repair. Just like a car needs servicing, your mind and soul need realignment.

Build relationships where you are more than a provider—where you are allowed to cry, collapse, confess. A good name is better than riches, but good health is the foundation of both.

As Chinua Achebe once said, “When the drumbeat changes, the dance must also change.” The drumbeat of life today is faster, louder, and less forgiving. Men must adjust their rhythm. Health is the new wealth. Silence is no longer golden; it is dangerous.

A man only corrects the woman he loves.

Here’s a truth many won’t admit: Men only correct the women they love. If you’re sitting back, watching a woman spiral into chaos without stepping in, you don’t love her—you’re just there for convenience. Real love isn’t about passive acceptance. It’s about stepping up, holding her accountable, and guiding her toward becoming her best self. If you’re not doing that, it’s because you either don’t care about her future or you’re too afraid to face the backlash.

A man with no long-term plans for a woman will let her “do anyhow.” He’ll sit quietly while she dresses half-naked, drinks recklessly, smokes, or acts wild because he’s not invested in her future—he’s just there for the short-term thrill. He doesn’t see her as a partner; he sees her as a temporary distraction. The sad part? Many women prefer this. They mistake his silence for love, thinking his lack of guidance is acceptance. But here’s the harsh reality: a man who doesn’t correct you doesn’t respect you.

Contrast this with a man who truly loves a woman. He won’t sit back and let her ruin herself. He’ll confront her, even if the truth stings. If she’s engaging in destructive habits or presenting herself in ways that diminish her value, he’ll speak up—not because he’s controlling her, but because he cares. Real love involves discipline and correction. He sees her potential and wants to build something meaningful.

But here’s where things fall apart: many women can’t handle being corrected. They’d rather drown in their emotions, run to their friends for validation, and hear comforting lies like, “You deserve better.” They confuse guidance with control, rejecting the very men who care enough to hold them accountable. And instead, they cling to men who let them do whatever they want—men who couldn’t care less about their future.

Men, stop enabling chaos. If a woman rejects correction, walk away. She’s not ready for accountability, and without accountability, there’s no foundation for a real relationship. A woman worth your time will respect your guidance and value your leadership. She’ll understand that correction isn’t criticism—it’s love in action.

And women, hear this: a man who corrects you isn’t your enemy—he’s your ally. A silent man doesn’t care about you. The one who speaks up is the one investing in your future. Stop confusing discipline with disrespect. Real men don’t tear you down; they build you up by demanding better.

The bottom line? Love isn’t about letting someone “do whatever they want.” It’s about setting standards, holding each other accountable, and building a future together. Men, if you’re not willing to correct the woman you’re with, you don’t love her. And women, if you can’t handle correction, you don’t love or respect him either.

Stay strong, stay sharp, and demand accountability in every relationship. A woman worth keeping will value your guidance. Anything less is a waste of your time.

    WHEN PATTERNS WON’T BREAK:

WHAT TO DO AFTER THE FASTING, THE PRAYING, AND THE WEEPING

To the one who has done everything right—
    You’ve fasted.
    You’ve prayed.
    You’ve sown seeds.
You’ve gone from altar to altar, from conference to conference.

    And yet the pattern remains.

    The same delay.
    The same heartbreak.
The same invisible wall you can't name, but feel deeply.

Let’s talk—not with pity, but with power.
Let’s face this—not with fear, but with fire.
Because the gospel of Jesus Christ is not just for easy cases—it’s for stubborn battles too.

    1. YES, THERE ARE PATTERNS THAT DON’T BOW EASILY

    Scripture never hid this.

The boy in Mark 9 wasn’t just demonised.

“It throws him into fire and water, trying to kill him…”
“And your disciples couldn’t cast it out.”
    (Mark 9:22, 18)

There was failure—even among the prayer warriors.

But Jesus didn’t deny the pattern. He confronted it.

Some patterns persist because they are deeply embedded—legal, generational, and territorial.
Some battles are not won by a night of prayer, but by a life of rooted identity.

We’re not here to offer another seven steps to your miracle.
We’re here to call you into unshakeable sonship.

    2. IF IT WON’T BREAK OUTSIDE YOU, IT’S TIME TO BUILD SOMETHING INSIDE YOU

    “Having done all, stand.”
    (Ephesians 6:13)

    When you've done all—keep standing.
Not just standing in effort—standing in revelation.

Sometimes, God allows patterns to persist so you stop measuring victory by escape and start living it by identity.

God is not only interested in taking you out of Egypt, but in building a version of you that Egypt cannot touch again.

    This is what Paul calls:

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
    (Colossians 1:27)

Glory doesn’t begin when the pattern stops.
Glory begins when Christ becomes your posture.

    3. WHAT TO DO WHEN NOTHING CHANGES OUTSIDE: ESTABLISH DOMINION INSIDE

This is where most believers quit.
But this is where you rise.

    a. Establish Yourself in the Word Like a Legal Weapon

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly...”
    (Colossians 3:16)

When you’re under pressure, don’t just pray louder—pray lawfully.

Open scripture like a courtroom document. Declare it like a legal sentence.

    Speak:

Isaiah 54:17 – “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”

Galatians 3:13 – “I am redeemed from every curse of the law.”

Romans 8:2 – “The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death.”

2 Corinthians 10:4–5 – “I cast down imaginations and take every thought captive.”

Don’t wait until a Sunday service.
Speak the Word until your spirit breaks the agreement your bloodline had with darkness.

    b. Redefine Success as Obedience, Not Outcome

You may be measuring victory by what changes around you.
God measures it by what is standing inside you.

Joseph was still in prison—yet he was reigning in mindset.
Paul was still in chains—yet he wrote epistles of dominion.

The evidence of spiritual authority is not always a changed environment—it’s a changed response.

    Declare daily:

“Even if the storm rages, I will not bow. I am not cursed. I am in Christ, and that is final.”

    c. Reject Emotional Agreements with the Pattern

Fear is a covenant. Bitterness is a gate. Resignation is a spiritual contract.

The moment you say, “Maybe this is just how my life will be,”
You’ve signed a contract without knowing it.

    Tear it.

    Declare:

“I will not be passive in my pain. I will not call permanent what God has called defeated.”

Even the Lord spoke on the cross.

“My God, why have you forsaken me?”
But even in that, He never changed His confession:
“Into your hands I commit my spirit.” (Luke 23:46)

You can weep in warfare. Just don’t worship the problem.

    4. ACTS: THE BLUEPRINT OF ENDURANCE AND ESTABLISHED IDENTITY

The early church knew patterns too:

Acts 12: James was killed. Peter was next in line.
But the church didn’t stop praying, even when they didn’t understand the losses.
And Peter walked out of prison without a fight—because sometimes, patterns break when you stay planted.

Acts 16: Paul and Silas were beaten, chained, humiliated.
But they worshipped—not because it made sense, but because they knew who they were.
And the foundations of the prison shook.

If it’s not shaking yet, keep worshipping.
If it’s not breaking yet, stay in revelation.

You’re not waiting for a miracle.
    You are becoming one.

    5. WHEN PATTERNS PERSIST, BECOME A PATTERN BREAKER BY POSTURE, NOT PANIC

    You’re not being punished.
    You’re being positioned.

    Patterns don’t fear loud prayers.
They fear rooted sons—those who know the bloodline of Jesus now defines them.

    Declare:

“I am not from where I was born. I am from where Christ died and rose again.”

If it persists, don’t run. Don’t beg.
    Stand. Speak. Stay rooted.
Because your consistency is often the weapon that finishes the enemy’s case.

    6. FINAL WORD: THIS IS NOT DELAY—THIS IS YOUR DEPLOYMENT

You are being forged, not forsaken.
The fire is not burning you—it’s burning off what can’t go with you.

This is not proof God has abandoned you.
This is proof God is establishing you.

“After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace... will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”
    (1 Peter 5:10)

    Let the fire refine you.
    Let the storm shape you.
    Let the waiting root you.

Because when the pattern finally breaks, the enemy won’t just regret ever touching you—he’ll regret ever touching your bloodline.

You’re not just being delivered from something.
You’re being delivered into someone—Christ in you.
And when that revelation becomes your residence, the battle is over.
Even if it looks like it just began.

    Regards

This is proof God is establishing you. “After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace... will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (1 Peter 5:10) Let the fire refine you. Regards

  • THE POOR GIRL ALMOST SOLD HER KIDNEY FOR MONEY TO EAT — BUT SHE FOUND A BILLIONAIRE LOVER
    EPISODE 3 (FINAL EPISODE)

The night Adaora tried to sell her kidney, she was nothing more than a starving girl begging life for mercy. But now, as she stood before the mirror in a cream-colored dress that flowed like water, with soft curls in her hair and a glow on her face, she almost didn’t recognize herself.

Tonight was the scholarship dinner hosted by David’s foundation. Hundreds of powerful people had gathered—politicians, CEOs, celebrities—to celebrate the charity's success. But all eyes were on Adaora.

David had asked her to give a short speech.

She was nervous. Her palms were sweaty. Her voice trembled when she started. “Six months ago,” she began, “I was on the street, ready to give up my body just to survive. Not my dignity—my kidney. I was that desperate. But someone saw me. Fed me. Gave me a bed. Enrolled me in school. Believed in me before I believed in myself. That person… is David.”

The crowd clapped, but David just smiled gently, his eyes full.

“But more than money,” she continued, “he gave me back my name. My voice. My dreams. I don’t know how to repay him. Except to never waste this chance.”

Tears filled many eyes in the audience.

After the event, they stepped outside to the rooftop garden, the Lagos skyline glowing behind them. David was quiet, unusually so.

Adaora looked up at him. “Did I say anything wrong?”

“No,” he said softly. “You said everything right.”

    She smiled shyly. “Good.”

Then he turned to her fully, his voice low. “Adaora… when I first met you, I saw a fighter. A survivor. But now, I see a woman. One with purpose, fire, and a heart that refuses to give up. And I…” He paused. “I didn’t mean for it to happen, but I’ve fallen for you.”

    Adaora’s eyes widened. “You what?”

    “I love you.”

    Silence. Her heart raced.

“David… I never thought anyone could love someone like me. Not with my past, not with the dirt I carry.”

He reached for her hand. “It’s your scars that made you beautiful. Not despite them—but because of them.”

And for the first time, Adaora allowed herself to believe it. She leaned into him, and he kissed her forehead, gently—respectfully.

Months later, the news broke everywhere: “Billionaire Marries Girl Who Once Lived on the Streets.”

Some people mocked. Some doubted. But Adaora didn’t care. Because in her heart, she knew she hadn’t been rescued.

She had been seen. Chosen. And loved.

From the edge of death to the arms of love, she had risen.

And this time, she would never fall again.

    THE End.

  • WE DID NOT INAUGURATE CONQUERORS ASSEMBLY BY POPULAR DEMAND BUT BY DIVINE PURPOSE

    - Bishop David Abioye

While speaking at the Inaugural Morning Sunday Service, Bishop David Abioye announced the Commission God has given him and also inaugurated the Assembly.

In his words, "Towards the end of the year 2024, the Lord began to unveil to me His divine purpose at different times—beginning with a mandate for a Global Interdenominational Power of Revival Ministers and Leadership Conference.

What began as a Sunday evening service is, by divine direction, migrating into a Sunday morning service. This, I count as an undeserved privilege, given by election of grace, according to Ephesians 3:8:

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach the unsearchable riches of Christ.”

    What is this move about?
Having been counted faithful in stewardship by election of grace, God has commissioned me to carry out the following assignments, among others:

To continue inspiring believers at all levels toward rendering selfless service to God and humanity.

To carry out revival missions across the nations of the earth, with a focus on:

    Spiritual awakening towards godly living

    Passion for God

    Dedication to kingdom service

    Heavenly consciousness

To pastor the destinies of men and women whom God brings our way from time to time.

Let me make it very clear:
The inauguration of this assembly is not in response to public demand to start a church.
Rather, it is the emergence of God's eternal purpose, ordained from the foundation of the world, now coming to light in His own appointed time.

This is simply an offshoot of the universal Church of Jesus, which continues to expand across the globe in furtherance of the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:18–20 and other scriptures. I see myself as a messenger of a fraction of that great commission—for no individual can fulfill it all.

On this final note, and to the glory of God:
This assembly, by the name Living Word Conqueror Global Assembly, is hereby inaugurated today, Sunday, 4th May 2025, in the name of:

    God the Father,
    God the Son,
    and God the Holy Spirit—

—for the spiritual development, edification, and triumph of the saints globally.

Let someone join me in saying a loud Amen!

I therefore welcome you specially to Conquerors Global Assembly.
Everyone who witnesses this day will not cease to conquer in all affairs of life.
You shall be named more than conquerors.

    Stepping into this assembly means:

    Stepping out of failure

    Stepping out of defeat

    Stepping out of calamity

    And stepping into endless triumph

    Say it with me:

    Conquerors Global Assembly!
    Conquerors Global Assembly!
    That’s where we belong!"

  • GOD DOES NOT REACT OR RESPOND RATHER HE PRO-ACTS

All who say that they have a Covenant with God or made a vow to God or intends to do this or that for God so that He will do this or that for them, hear ye today that God does not react or respond rather he Proacts.
Proactiveness is an attribute of God.

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
1 John 4:10 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
We have been chosen in Him from the foundation of the World. Ephesians 1:4

What's a Vow? A vow is a solemn promise made to God, or by a pagan to his deity. The Roman generals when they went to war, sometimes made a vow that they would build a temple to some favorite deity, if he would give them victory. A vow is a promise of something to be given or done hereafter.
A vow to God means, if he fulfills His part, that you promise to do so and so for Him. Genesis 28:20
In the Old Testament and in Jewish religion, a person is constituted a religious by taking three vows of:
    1. CHASTITY,
    2. POVERTY, and
    3. OBEDIENCE.
Among the Isrealites, the vows of children were not binding, unless ratified by the express or tacit consent of their father. Numbers 30 .
This was the Vow taken by Paul in Acts 18:18 and again mentioned in Acts 21:23.
Neither Paul nor the Apostles taught about Vows.

What's a Covenant? A mutual consent or agreement of two or more persons, to do or to forbear some act or thing a contract stipulation. A covenant is created by deed in writing, sealed and executed or it may be implied in the contract.
“And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;”
    Genesis 9:9
Vows, Covenants and Promises are all contained in the Laws. They're all fulfilled in Christ. Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24; Hebrews 8:6 - 13

Now if God has to do something for you because you promised to do something for Him, then, you have entered a transaction with Him, its no more a relationship. This relationship is why we call Him Father and He calls us Son or Daughter.. Otherwise, he's a business Partner. No it's not one of His Attributes!

GOD IS YOUR FATHER, HE IS NOT YOUR BOSS OR YOUR BUSINESS PARTNER.
HE'S A FATHER, WHATEVER YOU DO FOR HIM, YOU DO IT AS A SON TO A FATHER. AND WHATEVER GOD DOES FOR YOU, HE HAS DONE IT AS A FATHER WHO IS RESPONSIBLE TO TAKE CARE OF HIS SON.

If there's anything you need that is not forth coming, you don't need to cajole, manipulate or mobilize God as a contractor, because it is a waste of time. You just need to grow in the knowledge of Christ and take delivery of what is yours in Him. Again, there're things that will answer to time even after you have prayed.

Remember, God has already given you all things that pertains to life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3

. NOTE: GOD CANNOT BE APPEASED, BRIBED OR SWAYED BY HUMANS.
ONLY HIS BEGOTTEN SON CAN ASSUAGE AND SATISFY HIM
ALL GOD DOES IS THROUGH HIS EVERLASTING AGAPE (NOT TRANSACTIONAL) LOVE.
HE LOVES EVERYONE EQUALLY. JOHN 3:16.
GOD DOES NOT REACT OR RESPOND RATHER HE PRO-ACTS All who say that they have a Covenant with God or made a vow to God or intends to do this or that for God so that He will do this or that for them, hear ye today that God does not react or respond rather he Proacts. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” 1 John 4:10 “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” We have been chosen in Him from the foundation of the World. Ephesians 1:4 What's a Vow? A vow is a solemn promise made to God, or by a pagan to his deity. The Roman generals when they went to war, sometimes made a vow that they would build a temple to some favorite deity, if he would give them victory. A vow is a promise of something to be given or done hereafter. A vow to God means, if he fulfills His part, that you promise to do so and so for Him. Genesis 28:20 In the Old Testament and in Jewish religion, a person is constituted a religious by taking three vows of: 1. CHASTITY, 2. POVERTY, and 3. “And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;” Genesis 9:9 Vows, Covenants and Promises are all contained in the Laws. They're all fulfilled in Christ. Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24; Hebrews 8:6 - 13 Now if God has to do something for you because you promised to do something for Him, then, you have entered a transaction with Him, its no more a relationship. 2 Peter 1:3 . NOTE: GOD CANNOT BE APPEASED, BRIBED OR SWAYED BY HUMANS. ONLY HIS BEGOTTEN SON CAN ASSUAGE AND SATISFY HIM ALL GOD DOES IS THROUGH HIS EVERLASTING AGAPE (NOT TRANSACTIONAL) LOVE. HE LOVES EVERYONE EQUALLY. JOHN 3:16.

  • WE CELEBRATED THE BUILDING OF FREDERICK K.C. PRICE HALL LIKE A GLOBAL CATHEDRAL AND GOD WAS WATCHING

NOW WE HAVE SANCTUARIES AROUND THE WORLD

    - Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo whilst speaking about gratitude to God at the Showers Of Blessing Sunday Service in Faith Tabernacle told the story of the days of little beginnings of the ministry. He talked about the first church building built by the Commission and how grateful they were to God for it. In his words, "When praise dries up in the life of a man, God's presence is withdrawn from the man. Church Gist. And let's see how far he can go. Without God, we can do nothing (John 15:5). I wish we had the video of when we dedicated the Frederick K.C. Price Hall. A building that was done in two weeks. We danced as celebrating a global cathedral. We danced round the building. You first sweat outside before you come inside. God was watching and now we have sanctuaries around the world. If you don't want to stink, start being thankful to God."

Frederick K.C Price Hall is the first church building built by Living Faith Church Worldwide. It is a 400 seating capacity auditorium built in 1990 at the Garden of Faith, Barnawa, Kaduna in exactly 14 days. It was named after Bishop David Oyedepo's mentor, Apostle Frederick K.C. Price because the instruction from God to lay the foundation of the structure came during his visit to Kaduna. Today, this structure is still standing and has birthed thousands of Living Faith Churches all over the continents of the world.

  • Who you marry shapes your future more than when you marry. The right partner brings peace, purpose, and support, making every season of life meaningful.

Rushing into marriage for the sake of timing can lead to regrets, but choosing wisely, regardless of age, builds a foundation for lasting joy. It’s not about the clock; it’s about the character.

  • YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A VOICE UNTIL YOU'RE PROSPEROUS AND YOU'LL NEVER BE PROSPEROUS UNTIL YOU'RE A GIVER.

    -Pastor David Ibiyeomie

During the Second Sunday Service of Salvation Ministries - Home Of Success, Pastor David Ibiyeomie speaking on the Message: “Living A Life Of Influence” mentioned that financial prosperity is essential for having influence and being heard. He also stated that withholding tithes stops favor and encouraged the congregation to give generously to God so as to be prosperous. He said: “If you like, get all the principles and you don't have money, nobody will hear your voice; that's the Bible. He says the poor man's wisdom is despised, that means he has no voice. Say I hear! Are you hearing what the Bible is saying? Church Gist. So you have to know about Kingdom prosperity, you have to have a revelation of Kingdom prosperity because after all is said and done, if you're broke, you will have no voice. Say I hear! And how can you make it in the Kingdom of God? The foundation is: Be A faithful tither and then give quality offerings. Malachi 3:10.

    - May the Lord open your own windows. Proverbs 11:24.

Tithing is the biblical practice of returning 10 percent of your income back to God after you have earned it. That's what tithing is. Tithing is holy unto God, when you tamper with what is holy, you will have a hole in your life. Leviticus 27:30. Hear this, favour stops when the tithe is withheld from God.

The reason why many of you are not enjoying favour? Because no tithe. Now hear this and hear me well, you hear people say well, I'm being marginalized because I'm a black person, that's why they didn't talk to me, it's a lie. Many of you in the Western World; you think that the reason why they don't give you a job is because you're black, it's because you're stingy. "Oh! Because I'm not white!" It's a lie! Church Gist. When you're a tither, He said I will rebuke the devourer for your sake. So when you go, they hate you because you're not tithing. When you tithe, you become a delightsome land, black or white, everybody loves you. Say I hear!

God is not a racist, stop hiding under the guise of ignorance. "Oh! If I was white", it's a lie. If you are a tither. Favour stops when you withhold your tithe. Tithing is a proof you have conquered greed and mastered faith. Tithing is a proof you have conquered greed and mastered what? (Faith). And you believe that what God says, He will do. And you have mastered faith. Give quality offerings, don't give trash and expect treasures. Giving is living, stop being stingy! You will never have a voice until you're prosperous and you'll never be prosperous until you're a giver.”
