    SEASONS TO NOTE WHEN DATING
Not Every “Sweet” Season Leads To Marriage!

Dating isn’t just a straight road to the altar. It comes in seasons, and if you’re not discerning, you may commit to the wrong person or leave someone right for you.

Here are the 4 key seasons every dating couple goes through and what to watch out for:

    1. THE HONEY SEASON (Excitement Phase)

This is when everything feels perfect. The frequent late-night calls, butterflies in your tummy, sweet words, constant attention, and nothing is ever wrong about this person at this phase.

They seem like your answered prayer and the best thing that has ever happened to you.

At this phase, you need to be aware of those that show their best side, not their real side.
NEVER make long-term decisions in this phase. Enjoy it, but stay alert.

    2. THE STORMY SEASON (Conflict Phase)

Here, disagreements begin to arise. You begin to see attitudes, temper, communication style and how they react under pressure.

This is the time to note if they handle conflict with maturity or manipulation.

You should find out if both of you talk things through respectfully.

This season reveals emotional intelligence, which is a must for marriage.

    3. THE SILENT SEASON (Distance Phase)

At this phase, the energy suddenly drops. Calls are reduced. Excitement fades, and It feels like something’s wrong.

This is when to find out if you are emotionally connected beyond physical attraction.

Do you still enjoy each other’s company without constant entertainment?

This season tests depth. It is at this point that shallow relationships usually die.

    4. THE DECISION SEASON (Clarity Phase)

This is the phase where you see them clearly. Their strengths, weaknesses, and patterns.

At this phase, you need to evaluate if you are aligned spiritually, emotionally and mentally?

Do you share the same values, goals, and faith convictions?

This is where you decide if this person is your future spouse or just a distraction.

However, you need to know that if you introduce s.e.x too early, these seasons become harder to discern, your judgement may be biased, emotions get clouded and red flags get ignored. You will begin to confuse lust for love.

Dating is not a game, it’s preparation for destiny.

  • How to Post on Social Media in a Way That Builds a Strong Personal Brand that Makes Money

You can post on social media for 10 years and still have no brand, no clients, and no income.

Do not confuse the difference between popularity (having many followers and likes) and a brand.

There are people who have many followers, but when they post something to sell, no one buys. That is popularity without a strong brand. There is a reason for that.

Posting alone is not strategy. Visibility without clarity won’t build a brand you can monetize.

Here’s how to post on social media in a way that builds a strong personal brand you can monetize, with systems, scale, and strategic clarity.

    1. Stop posting for likes. Start posting for positioning.
You’re not here to entertain (except you are in the entertainment industry).
You’re here to signal & build authority, build trust, and attract aligned buyers.
When you post for positioning your posts will address issues like these:
    - “Here’s the problem I solve.”
    - “Here’s what I’ve helped others achieve.”
    - “Here’s how to work with me.”
    - "Here's how this and that works."
    - “Here’s a mistake people often make — and what to do instead.”
This kind of content doesn’t just inform, it positions you as a trusted authority.
Don’t just show up. Show up with strategic purpose.

I have a free course for you to help you grow your value & distribute more value. Get Value Ascension Course now here: https://stan.store/Joybert

    2. Build a branded content ecosystem (1 →Model).
Pick 3–4 content lanes tied to your brand and monetizable identity:
    Your skillset
    Your results or client wins
    Your thought process or framework
Personal stories that reveal values & mission
Career and industry stories that reveals impact
Rotate consistently. Let people remember and repeat who you are and what you solve. (read that again)

    3. Write a bio that opens doors — not confusion.
When I look at somepeople's bio on social media, sometimes I am like....(let me not say it ahah)
    Your bio should say:
    - Who you help
    - What you help them achieve
    - How they can start working with you
    Clarity > Cleverness
People don’t buy mystery. They buy solutions.

    4. Create posts that are bridges — not broadcasts.
Every post should do one or more of these:
    Educate
    Solve a problem
    Invite action
Build trust through proof or story
    Make your offer visible
Don’t just talk. Lead people somewhere.

    5. Use testimonials and results like marketing assets.
    - Screenshot kind words
    - Share before/after snapshots
    - Tell client transformation stories
    - Highlight how your method works
Social proof is not bragging. It’s trust fuel.

    6. Use your pinned post like a 24/7 sales rep.
    Pin a post that introduces:
    - Who you are
    - What you do
    - Who it’s for
    - How to get started (Add your contacts)
Let your first impression carry conversion weight.

    7. Turn your best-performing posts into repeatable series.
If a post works, don’t post once and move on.
    - Turn it into a mini-series
    - Create a workshop around it
    - Build a paid product from it
Scale your best work. Don’t let it die in the feed.

    8. Repurpose across platforms with intentionality.
    One message. Multiple formats:
    - Facebook post - LinkedIn thread
    - WhatsApp voice note - Instagram carousel
    - Live session - YouTube short clip
    Brand consistency breeds recognition.
    Recognition builds trust.
    Trust drives income.

    9. Include calls to action that lead to real conversations or conversions.
    - “Comment YES for the free guide.”
    - “DM me ‘READY’ to work together.”
    - “Click the link in my bio to book.”
If people can’t take the next step, you’re not building a brand, you’re just journaling and making social media noise.

    10. Track what converts. Build systems around it. (systems thinking)
    - What kind of post attracted clients?
    - What language got people DMing?
    - What structure made your offer clear?
Turn insights into content SOPs. Build a brand that works while you rest.

Which of these points challenged you? COMMENT “BRAND BUILDER”

  • Breaking News: “Nothing Wrong If An Actor Wants S£x From An Actress for Movie Roles So Far He Doesn’t Force Her”–Yoruba Actor Dele Odule

    –Lagos Reporters

Veteran Yoruba actor, Dele Odule, has stirred public debate following his remarks on the controversial issue of s£x-for-roles in the Nigerian movie industry, saying it is not wrong for an actor to request a relationship from an actress in exchange for a movie role provided there is no coercion involved.

Odule made the statement during an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, where he offered a personal perspective on what has become a recurring concern in Nollywood.

“I don't agree that actors can ask actresses to have an affair with them before giving them movie roles because if such happens, it means the actress already has an interest in doing it,” he said.

The actor, known for his decades-long contributions to the Yoruba film industry, clarified that in any normal society where men and women interact, romantic or sexual advances are bound to happen. According to him, what matters is mutual consent.

“In a society where there are men and women, it is normal that they will approach each other for relationships, but it has to come with mutual agreement between a man and a woman because a woman always has the choice to agree or disagree,” he stated.

Odule emphasized that it only becomes a legal or moral issue when force is applied, noting that coercion or exploitation is punishable under the law.

“Nothing wrong if an actor wants s£x from an actress for movie roles so far he doesn't force her. It only becomes illegal when force is applied, which is punishable under law.”

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians accusing the actor of normalizing exploitation in the industry, while others argue that his comments simply reflect the reality of adult relationships and consent.

As the entertainment industry continues to wrestle with issues of ethics, professionalism, and abuse of power, Odule’s comments may further ignite conversations around how boundaries are defined and respected in Nollywood.

Lagos Reporters will continue to follow public and industry responses to this developing story.

  • SEASONS TO NOTE WHEN DATING

“Wizkid was the first Afrobeats I came across for a collaboration to come to the spotlight in the Entertainment Industry but unfortunately Wizkid let me down because I was an uprising artist in another Afrobeats Market although I was a famous artist in Liberia already.

Between 2022/2023, I had an opportunity to visit Wizkid at his mansion in Ghana through the help of my manager & Wizkid's girlfriend ‘Jada P”.

While awaiting Wizkid in the living room to engage him with the plan having a collaboration with him.

As soon as Wizkid stepped out of the room thinking that he was going to recognize me to have a fruitful meeting.

Surprisingly, Wizkid went out of his room without even resting his body in the living room, stepped out, and straightened into his car without having a concern or second thought that people came to see him.

I spent 6 hours at Wizkid Mansion patiently waiting, but he didn't return in time till my manager and I took our exit.

Luckily I got my first global hit song “Butta My Bread” featuring Lasmid in 2023” ~ Afrobeat singer, JZyNo

    LET'S GO............

Building wealth is a process that involves smart saving, investing, and increasing income while minimizing debt. Key steps include creating a budget, avoiding debt, investing regularly, and diversifying your portfolio. Educating yourself about finance and seeking professional advice can also be beneficial.

    3. Investing:

    Invest regularly:

Start small and consistently invest in a diversified portfolio of assets like stocks, bonds, and real estate.

    Diversify your portfolio:

Avoid putting all your eggs in one basket by investing in different asset classes and geographies.

    Consider retirement plans:

Maximize your contributions to retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs.

    Understand taxes:

Be aware of tax implications for your investments and seek professional advice if needed.

    4. Debt Management:

Pay off high-interest debt: Prioritize paying off credit cards and other high-interest debt to save on interest payments.

Avoid debt: Be mindful of your spending habits and avoid taking on unnecessary debt.

    5. Other Important Considerations:

    Educate yourself:

Learn about personal finance, investing, and wealth management through books, articles, or online courses.

    Seek professional advice:

Consult with a financial advisor to develop a personalized wealth-building plan.

  • Listen up, Men “12 Brutal Reasons You’re Failing With Women — Even Though You’re ‘Nice’ and ‘Good’”

You keep wondering why women overlook you, reject you, or use you — even when you’re respectful, caring, supportive, and good to them.
You think being nice should make you her first choice.
But it doesn’t. It makes you invisible. It makes you weak in her eyes.
Because what women crave isn’t niceness — it’s strength, direction, power, and control.

Here are 12 cold reasons why you're failing with women despite being a so-called “good guy”:

    1. You're too available
You reply too fast. You’re always there. No mystery, no chase.
She gets bored because you’re easy.

    2. You seek her validation
Every compliment, every favor, every gesture is a desperate cry to be liked.
She can smell the weakness. She’ll use it — then dump you.

    3. You hide your true intentions
You pretend to be a friend, a helper, a confidant — but you want her.
    She knows.
And that lie makes her lose respect instantly.

    4. You don’t set boundaries
She raises her voice, flakes on you, disrespects you — and you still smile.
    That’s not kindness. That’s spinelessness.

    5. You don’t lead
You keep asking, “What do you want to do?”
    You don’t make decisions.
She sees you as a follower — not a man.

    6. You reward bad behavior
She ghosts you, embarrasses you, flirts with other men — and you still text “Good morning, babe.”
That’s breath dust behavior. You are her entertainment, not her king.

    7. You talk too much
    You overshare, over-explain, overdo.
Masculine men are brief, bold, and direct.

    8. You don’t have purpose
No mission. No ambition. Just vibes.
She won’t follow a man who has no direction.

    9. You're too emotional
You cry too soon. Get hurt too easily. Share too deeply.
She’s looking for protection, not a therapist.

    10. You're soft on the outside and the inside
No physical edge. No mental grit.
She wants a man who makes her feel safe — not someone she can push around.

    11. You pedestalize her
You treat her like a goddess just because she’s pretty.
She didn't earn your devotion — she’s now disgusted by your worship.

    12. You're trying to earn her love
You act like love is a reward for hard work.
But women don’t love men for effort — they love men for power.

Being nice is NOT the problem.
Being weak, passive, approval-seeking, and boundary-less is.
Women don’t want your kindness if it comes with insecurity.
They don’t want your attention if it comes with neediness.

They want strength, presence, leadership, and control.
    Stop being a SIMPle Man.
Be a man she can follow — not one she can walk over.

  • THE PARROT WHO COULDN'T KEEP A SECRET

Once upon a time in the bustling jungle of Jabula, there lived a parrot named Kiki. With feathers like a rainbow and a voice as clear as a bell, Kiki was the most charming creature in the trees. All the animals loved talking to her because she was always willing to listen—and oh, did she listen well.

Kiki quickly became the jungle’s unofficial confidant. The lion told her about his fear of water. The monkey whispered that he was stealing bananas from the elder’s tree. The snake confessed that he was in love with a bird from a rival jungle. All these secrets, heavy and sacred, were placed into Kiki's colorful care.

But Kiki had one problem: she loved to talk.

At first, she told the secrets to her closest friend, a sleepy owl who barely reacted. But it didn’t stop there. Soon, Kiki was repeating stories to everyone: the tortoise, the zebras, even the river fish. And with every retelling, the secrets grew louder and juicier.

“I heard the lion can’t swim!” she chirped loudly one morning.

“Guess who’s stealing bananas?” she sang in the afternoon.

“You’ll never believe which snake is in love!” she squawked at night.

The jungle buzzed with gossip, and soon chaos broke out. The lion was mocked and refused to lead the hunt. The monkey was exiled for theft. The snake slithered away, humiliated and heartbroken.

Realizing who started the storm, the animals turned to Kiki. Her feathers drooped as her friends confronted her one by one.

“You betrayed us,” said the lion.

“I trusted you,” whispered the snake.

“We will speak no more to a tongue that leaks like a cracked pot,” the tortoise declared.

Kiki was silenced—not by force, but by absence. No one spoke to her anymore. No secrets. No laughter. Just silence.

Alone and ashamed, Kiki learned her lesson the hard way.

    Three Real-Life Lessons:

    1. Trust is built with silence and shattered with words.
When someone trusts you with their vulnerability, it is a treasure—not a tale for entertainment.

    2. Not all truths are meant to be shared.
Just because something is true doesn't mean it's yours to tell. Wisdom lies in discretion.

    3. Words, once spoken, cannot be unspoken.
A careless word can ripple into destruction. Always think before you speak.
THE PARROT WHO COULDN'T KEEP A SECRET Once upon a time in the bustling jungle of Jabula, there lived a parrot named Kiki.
