• It is a sign of immaturity when you say yes to a man immediately after he asks you out.
But do you know what's even more immature?
Saying no, not because you don’t like him, not because he's not your type, and not because you're uncertain but because someone somewhere on the internet told you, “Never say yes too soon.”
We now live in a generation where relationships are sabotaged before they even begin not by incompatibility or lack of love, but by the fear of looking too available.
Too many women have been fed the idea that being “hard to get” is the only way to protect their worth. You hear things like: “Don’t pick up his calls too fast,” “Don’t reply to his messages quickly,”
“Make him chase you for months,” “You’re the prize let him suffer for you.” And somehow, this has become a badge of maturity.
But here's the truth that you don't like to hear...
There is a huge difference between being valuable and being emotionally manipulative. You are not expensive because you are hard to reach. You are valuable because of who you are, your mindset, your growth, your character, your peace, your purpose, and your vision.
Maturity is not about delaying the obvious.
It’s knowing when something good has come to you and being confident enough to embrace it. If you’ve met someone you connect with, someone whose values align with yours, someone you can build with... why punish them for showing up right?
Why make them chase you for months just to prove you're “not easy”?
Some ladies have lost the love of their lives to unnecessary delays and performance-based dating. They knew the man was right. They had peace. But the fear of looking “too available” made them miss out on something beautiful.
    Who gave us this mindset?
Who told us that a woman is only valuable when she plays hard to get?
Let’s tell ourselves the truth. Emotional maturity is knowing what you want and having the courage to walk toward it, not run from it hoping the other person will chase you to prove something. You are not the prize because you say no. You are the prize because of what you bring into a relationship... Love, growth, stability, vision, purpose, peace, and more.
Ladies, your worth is not proven by how long you make a man suffer.
You don’t need to pretend you’re uninterested just to appear powerful. If you like him and he likes you, and you both are emotionally, spiritually, and mentally ready, then be honest with yourself. Be wise, but don’t be manipulative.
There’s a difference between discernment and delay tactics. There’s a difference between guarding your heart and hiding your heart out of fear.
Stop letting other people’s failed stories shape your success story.
You are not “just another lady.” But remember, you don’t prove that by withholding affection, you prove it by showing up fully, intentionally, and maturely when love finds you.
You are not weak because you say yes.
You are wise because you say yes with clarity.
Let’s normalize healthy, emotionally intelligent relationships not games that end up with both people confused and heartbroken.
I hope this helps you make the right decision.

  • *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: THURSDAY 19TH JUNE 2025

    THEME: *ACTIVATE YOUR DIVINE INTELLIGENCE*

    MEMORIZE
    Job 32:8
[8]But there is [a vital force] a spirit [of intelligence] in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding. [Prov. 2:6.] [AMP]

    READ
    Acts 6:1-7
And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*The brightest minds in the universe are those who study under the LORD.*

    MESSAGE
Yesterday we saw the awesome necessity of functioning with quick understanding in the fear of the LORD.

This is vitally necessary because, we do not always know what to do because of the high percentage of our ignorance due to spiritual blindness and the impact of darkness on our spiritual senses. This is why we need to be extraordinarily passionate about our fellowship with the LORD.

We need the LORD much more than ever.

Today's memory verse tells us that we already have a vital force or a spirit of intelligence in us which requires an activation by the breath of the Almighty God.

Three spiritual exercises are vital to activating our divine intelligence.

    1. BE CEASELESS IN PRAYERS.
Why we should pray always and spend more time in prayers is because through prayers we reduce our ignorance and by spending time daily in God's word, we increase our capacity for divine intelligence.

The Lord Jesus Christ in His earthly days spent so much time in prayers as to make it a notable feature of His earthly life and ministry because He had to function in alignment with the will of His Father, and to do this perfectly, He had to battle with His humanity to align with His divinity. We were only permitted to see that He battled with His humanity when He was praying in the garden of Gethsemane before His passion. However, He allowed His humanity to be conquered by the perfect will of His Father through willing submission and obedience.

The altar of incessant prayers is a necessity because that is where we reduce our ignorance and resistance to God's perfect will for our lives.

    The Bible puts it this way;
    Jeremiah 33:3
[3]Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).

    2. REGULAR INTAKE OF GOD’S WORD.
The act of regular intake of the Word of God is necessary because through it we expose ourselves to divine light and increase our intelligence.
    See;
    Psalm 119:105,130
[105]Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. [Prov. 6:23.]
[130]The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.

    3. SPEAK FORTH GOD’S WORD REGULARLY.
The act of speaking forth the word of God through teaching others, preaching, witnessing, or prophetic confession of God's Word increases our learning and divine brightness in God.
    Proverbs 16:21
The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
    Proverbs 16:23
The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips.

Beloved, availing yourself in God's presence regularly is making yourself a student of the LORD.

*Those who are privileged to study under the LORD are the brightest minds in time and in eternity*

    ACTION STEPS
    1. Prayerfully meditate on today's devotional guide.
    2. Be determined to keep on reducing your ignorance and increasing your intelligence.
    3. Insist on a regiment of tight spirituality with the Lord Jesus Christ.

    REMEMBER
*The brightest minds in the universe are those who study under the LORD.*

    PRAYERS
Dear heavenly Father, Thank you for today's devotional guide. I receive grace to accept the responsibility of activating my divine intelligence through the exercise of higher spirituality in Jesus name. Amen.

    AUTHOR: JEDIDIAH DAVID

    DAILY READING: 2Chronicles 2-4; Psalms 144-145; Hebrews 11-12;

    HYMN
    1
My hope is built on nothing less
    Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

    On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

    2
When darkness hides His lovely face,
    I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the vail.

    3
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
    Support me in the ’whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

    4
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
On ,may I then in Him be found,
    Clothed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne!

  • *GOSPEL REFLECTION: Rejecting the evil one*
    _June 4, 2025_

_“I gave them your word, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the Evil One.” (John 17:14–15)_

Unfortunately, the evil one is real. He is the highest of the fallen angels who retain their natural spiritual power given them at their creation. God created all angelic creatures with the purpose of serving His holy will. The Scripture reveals that there are nine levels or “choirs” to which these angelic creatures belong. Among the fallen angels, the highest of them directs the others, and he is traditionally given the name Lucifer or “the devil.”

One of the natural spiritual powers that these fallen angelic creatures retain is the power of influence and suggestive thought. They were created to be messengers of God’s truth to us; but, in their fallen state, they seek to communicate confusion and lies instead. Therefore, it is very helpful to understand the way the evil one and the other fallen angels communicate to us so that we can reject their lies and listen only to the voice of God.

In his rules for the discernment of spirits, Saint Ignatius of Loyola explains that when a person is going “from mortal sin to mortal sin,” the evil one and the other demons continually propose to their imagination the “apparent pleasures” and “sensual delights” that they obtain from their sin as a way of keeping them firmly controlled by that sin. However, when a person is “intensely cleansing their sins and rising from good to better,” the evil one and the other demons act in a contrary way. They will “bite, sadden and put obstacles, disquieting with false reasons, that one may not go on” in their pursuit of holiness. God and the good angels will act in the opposite way. For those immersed in sin, God and the good angels will use “the opposite method, pricking them and biting their consciences through the process of reason” so as to draw them away from sin. And when a person is, in fact, growing in holiness, God and the good angels will “give courage and strength, consolations, tears, inspirations and quiet, easing, and putting away all obstacles, that one may go on in well doing” (See mycatholic.life/ignatius).

These spiritual lessons on the discernment of spirits are of great value and will assist you on your daily struggle with sin and your daily pursuit of holiness. Understanding the deceptions of the evil one and discerning the promptings of grace given by God bring clarity to our daily lives and direction to all of our actions. The good news that is revealed by the Scripture passage above is that our Lord is fully aware of the working of the evil one, has prayed for you and will assist you as you seek to combat these lies and deceptions in your life.

*Reflect,* today, upon the importance of learning how to discern both the voice of God and the lies of the evil one. Work to discern the voice of God so that you may follow Him more faithfully. And seek to discern the lies of the evil one so that you will not be influenced by him and can directly reject him. Commit yourself to a more rigorous discernment of these spiritual experiences in your life and allow this prayer of Jesus to direct you into His holy will.

    *PRAYER:*
_My all-powerful Lord, You have conquered the evil one and provide all the grace I need to overcome his lies and deceptions. Open my mind to discern Your voice and give clarity to the voice of the evil one so that I may choose You with my whole heart and reject all that the evil one tries to say to me. • PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL BATTLES AND STRUGGLES

    Heavenly Father,
In the midst of my struggle, I come before You, seeking Your strength and Your peace.
I confess that I am weary, that doubts have crept in, and that the weight of this battle feels overwhelming.
But I know You are greater than any force that comes against me.

Lord, clothe me in Your armor—
The belt of truth to keep me grounded in Your Word,
The breastplate of righteousness to guard my heart,
The gospel of peace to steady my steps,
The shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of doubt and fear,
The helmet of salvation to protect my mind,
And the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word, sharp and true.

Holy Spirit, fill me with Your presence.
Speak truth into my soul when lies surround me.
Give me discernment when the enemy disguises himself as light.
Strengthen my will to resist temptation and to stand firm in my identity as a child of God.

Jesus, You have already won the ultimate victory.
Remind me that I do not fight alone.
Surround me with Your angels, with Your light, and with Your love.
And when I cannot speak, let my silence still be a prayer—
For You know the groanings of my heart.

    Lord, I trust You.
Even in this battle, even in this storm,
I declare that You are faithful, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray,
    Amen.

Surround me with Your angels, with Your light, and with Your love. And when I cannot speak, let my silence still be a prayer— For You know the groanings of my heart. Lord, I trust You. Even in this battle, even in this storm, I declare that You are faithful, and Your power is made perfect in my weakness. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Topic: His Agenda in What You Call a Mistake (5)

_Main Text: Matthew 26:50 — “And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.”_

Saints of God, thank you for your commitment to this series with steadfastness and hunger for divine truth. I pray that the Lord will grant you the grace to finish strong and reap the full reward of revelation in Jesus’ name.

Let me begin this edition by drawing your attention to one of the most astonishing statements in the Bible. Specifically, the statement in which Jesus called Judas, “Friend.” You will recall that Judas was not just any adversary by what he did; he was a disciple, someone who had walked closely with Jesus, who then betrayed Him with a kiss. Yet, in that critical hour, Jesus never referred to him as an enemy but chose to call him a Friend.

Friends, you will agree with me that Jesus saw beyond Judas’s act of betrayal. He saw purpose. While men label Judas as a traitor and mistake his role as a failure, Jesus recognized him as someone fulfilling a divine agenda. In fact, Judas did not derail the mission, rather, he triggered it. For instance, a critical exegesis of scripture will show that not even Peter, James, or John, His inner circle, were addressed as “friend”. Yet the one who would hand Him over to death received that title. In other words, in the kingdom, friendship is defined not by sentiment but by contribution to divine purpose.

Beloved, permit me to tell you that the people you sometimes brand as enemies are the ones God is using to move you toward your assignment. For example, Judas’s betrayal led Jesus to the cross, where redemption for mankind was secured. Without that betrayal, the prophecy may have remained unfulfilled. Most importantly, you must understand that while this is not intended to justify wrong or evil actions, it is designed to remind you that God’s sovereignty works even through human flaws. The crucifixion was not a mistake; it was destiny. Judas, consciously or unconsciously, helped to facilitate it. To this end, it is crucial to understand the following facts.

    - That, not all who hurt you are your enemies.

    - That, not all who challenge you are working against you.

    - That, sometimes, what breaks your heart is what sets your destiny in motion.

Child of God, given the above, I can tell you that you may be praying against people, situations, or events that God has allowed for your growth and fulfillment. Therefore, instead of resisting, ask for discernment. Let the Holy Spirit help you to interpret your pain through the lens of purpose. For example, Peter denied Jesus but later became the rock upon which the early Church was built. Judas betrayed Him, and had he not taken his own life, perhaps restoration could have found him, too. Don’t be too quick to write off the “Judas” or “Peter” in your life. They may be instruments of transition. At this juncture, I encourage you to pause and ask yourself:

    1. Who have I wrongly labeled an enemy?

    2. What painful experience might God be using to usher me into destiny?

    3. What am I calling a mistake, that God might be calling a mission?

Thank you for studying with me, even as I look forward to studying the next edition with you and your family.

    Shalom,

  • VISION

    INTRODUCTION

Vision is the revelation of God’s purpose and plan for a person, a people, a generation, or even an entire nation. It is not ambition. It is not wishful thinking. It is not mere goal-setting. Vision is divine direction birthed by divine encounter. According to Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV): “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” This reveals a key truth: NO TRUE VISION SPEAKS AT THE BEGINNING; IT ONLY SPEAKS AT THE END.

    WHAT IS VISION?

Vision is the spiritual insight into God’s intended outcome for a life. It is not self-initiated but God-initiated. It is the mental and spiritual picture of your future that propels you with energy, courage, and resilience. Vision is what gives life direction, focus, and purpose. Without it, people live by reaction instead of intention. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

True vision is born out of divine fellowship. It is not created in the boardroom but received in the secret place. Vision is not what you want to do for God, but what God wants to do through you. It is the blueprint of heaven deposited in your spirit, commanding your alignment and action.

    KEY FACTS ABOUT VISION

    1. TRUE VISION SPEAKS AT THE END, NOT AT THE BEGINNING

When vision first arrives, it often looks ordinary, confusing, or even unrealistic. It rarely comes with applause or clarity. In fact, it often invites criticism, mockery, and rejection. Just like Joseph’s dreams, vision is usually ridiculed before it is respected. In the beginning, it may appear dormant or unachievable. But in the end, it speaks loudly and clearly. Vision is validated by manifestation, not excitement.

    2. VISION REQUIRES PROCESSING

Before vision speaks, it processes. The one who receives vision must be processed to match the weight of what God has revealed. Moses had the vision to deliver Israel, but spent 40 years in the wilderness being prepared. Paul encountered Jesus and then spent years in Arabia being equipped. God will never place a heavy vision on an unprocessed vessel. Between revelation and manifestation is preparation.

    3. VISION THRIVES ON CHARACTER, NOT JUST CHARISMA

It is not enough to carry power gifts like prophecy, tongues, healing, or discernment. These are important but not sufficient for the fulfillment of vision. The gifts may attract attention, but it is the fruit of the Spirit that sustains destiny. According to Galatians 5:22-23, the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are the attributes that preserve the vessel and stabilize the journey.

Many have received genuine visions from God but failed in character and collapsed in the process. Patience and long-suffering are especially critical because vision is a marathon, not a sprint. Without endurance, discouragement will abort destiny.

    4. VISION REQUIRES TIME AND SEASONAL DISCERNMENT

Vision is time-sensitive. No matter how accurate a vision is, if you try to manifest it outside of divine timing, it will fail. The power of vision lies in alignment with God’s schedule. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Misjudging seasons leads to premature exposure and failure.

Vision must be walked out step by step, stage by stage. Just as a baby must crawl before walking, vision must mature before manifestation. Each season comes with its test. There is a season of silence, of rejection, of formation, and of visibility. You must discern them all.

    5. VISION ATTRACTS ADVERSITY

Every true vision will face opposition. In fact, opposition is one of the strongest validations that your vision is divine. Satan will not fight what is not a threat. Nehemiah’s vision to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem was opposed from every side. Jesus' mission was challenged from infancy to the cross. If your vision is truly of God, expect resistance—but also expect divine backing.

Opposition is not a sign of failure but a test of commitment. Many faint in the day of adversity because their strength is small. Visionaries must be battle-tested, able to withstand storms, delays, betrayals, and discouragement.

    6. VISION REQUIRES DISCIPLINE AND FOCUS

Distraction is one of the deadliest enemies of vision. Many start strong but lose focus. Like Peter walking on water, they allow the winds of life to shift their eyes from the Master to the mess. Vision demands saying no to many good things to stay with the God-thing.

It also requires the discipline of time, resources, and relationships. Not every opportunity is a divine instruction. You must guard your heart, your circle, and your energy. Vision flourishes in environments of purity and clarity.

    7. VISION REQUIRES COURAGE AND RESILIENCE

Vision will often demand that you walk alone. The early stages of vision may require loneliness, rejection, and misunderstanding. Noah built an ark with no rain in sight. Abraham walked to an unknown land. These men were sustained by vision, not applause.

If you cannot endure the loneliness of vision, you will never enjoy the reward of vision. You must believe what God told you even when no one else sees it. Hebrews 10:36 says, “You have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.”

    8. VISION SEEKS TRANSFORMATION, NOT JUST ATTRACTION

A true vision will not just aim to make you popular or successful; it will aim to make others better, to improve society, and to advance God’s kingdom. Vision is bigger than self. It is redemptive. It serves others. It adds value. If your vision doesn’t stretch beyond you, it is ambition, not vision.

    STAGES OF A VISION

    1. REVELATION – God reveals His purpose.

    2. INSTRUCTION – Specific steps are given.

    3. SEPARATION – You are separated from what limits you.

    4. PREPARATION – You are trained and refined.

    5. OPPOSITION – You are tested and resisted.

    6. MANIFESTATION – Vision begins to produce fruit.

    7. MULTIPLICATION – Vision spreads and multiplies in others.

    QUALITIES OF A VISIONARY

    Sensitive to divine instructions

    Emotionally stable and spiritually rooted

Bold in the face of opposition

Willing to endure delays and rejections

Able to discern seasons and transitions

    Passionate about impact, not applause

Willing to submit to process and authority

Consistent in faith, regardless of results

    CONCLUSION

Vision is not a one-time encounter—it is a lifelong journey. It is God's plan being worked out through your life in stages. Vision is fragile in the beginning but becomes powerful at the end. The end speaks, not the beginning. It is not how it looks now, but how it will be when God is done.

Don’t abort your vision because of delay. Don’t discard it because of opposition. Don’t disobey because of pressure. What God has shown you will come to pass—if you stay faithful.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NIV) says, “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.” Vision is not about speed, but about staying in sync with God. Those who wait on the Lord will not be ashamed. The vision will speak—at the end.

  • 3 Battles Every Lady Must Win to Succeed in Relationships

There are 3 core battles every lady must conquer if she’s going to win in love. Not just any kind of love, but intentional, godly, healthy kind of love that leads to peace, not pain.

    1. The Battle Against Low Self-Esteem

It starts with you. Not with a man. Not with a proposal. Not even with relationship. YOU.

The way you see yourself determines the love you think you deserve. We choose the love we think we deserve.

A lady with low self-esteem will overlook red flags just to be chosen. She’ll keep quiet when she should speak up. She’ll tolerate the bare minimum and be so grateful that it was given.

    And the scary part?
She’ll think it’s her fault when things go wrong and try to fix relationships that isn't good for her.

Loving yourself means learning to receive love that matches your value, not your w0unds. It’s looking in the mirror and saying, “I am enough, with or without a man.”

And most of all, it’s knowing that being single is better than being mistreated.

    2. The Battle Against Comparison

You scroll through Facebook and IG and see her. The soft life girl. The ring. The candlelight dinner. The captions: “My peace.” “The Odogwu of my life.” “The one that spoils me s!lly.”

And just like that, you feel behind. You start questioning your worth. You wonder if there’s something wrong with you.

You wonder why your own husband can't take you on vacation. You wonder why your own man doesn't pamper you like the other lady’s man.

Always remember that for every post that you see, you are not seeing the full picture of things. You only see what the person wants you to see.

Comparison is the stealer of joy. It forces you not to be content, and makes you underappreciate what you have because your eyes are on what you don't have.

Many ladies compare themselves with others. There is this hidden competition that makes you want to compare your man, possessions, marriage, and even life with others.

Even the Bible says that people who compare themselves with others are not wise. Your story and journey is different. Stop comparing.

    3. The Battle Against Deception

The d£vil doesn’t come in red horns. He comes in fine suits, sweet words, and deep scriptures.

Deception is one of the biggest traps in modern dating. Many ladies fall, not because they’re weak, but because they want to believe the best. They are also driven by fantasy and this makes the lady an easy targ£t.

You meet a man who says all the right things:
“I’ve been praying for a woman like you…”
“I’m not like those other guys…”
    “I’m ready for marriage…”

But talk is cheap. Character is not. Deception often hides behind charm, but if you will pay attention to character, you will be saved.

That’s why emotional intelligence and spiritual discernment are non-negotiable. You must test the spirit, not just the vibe you feel. You must question the patterns, not just the potential.

So sis, win these three battles not for a man, but for you. Because when you win within, the external will match up.

You must test the spirit, not just the vibe you feel. You must question the patterns, not just the potential. So sis, win these three battles not for a man, but for you. Because when you win within, the external will match up.
