This got me emotional and deep in thought when I heard it…

At a school’s end-of-year party, the hall was filled with excitement as the children gave their presentations. Among them was a little boy of class 5 named Nathan.

Several children had already taken the stage with clear and straight voices, full of confidence. Everyone had concluded it was a day full of beautiful talent displace and that the kids were amazing.

Then came Nathan’s turn.

“But why did the teacher allow Nathan to present, knowing how he struggles to speak in front of people?”

Nathan stood frozen. His words barely came out. His eyes searched the crowd, hoping to see a safe face but all he saw were expectant eyes. His mother forced a small smile to encourage him, but inside, her heart sank. She felt sad and embarrassed. She wondered, why her son couldn't shine like the others.

3. Pin one authority message on your status daily.
Think of WhatsApp status like a sales billboard:
- Testimonial screenshot

- Offer highlight

- Simple pricing & booking instructions
If 300 people view it, and 3 buy, you’ve closed clients without ads.

4. Use voice notes for emotional connection.
Text builds logic. Voice builds trust.
When someone shows interest:
- Send a 45-sec voice note explaining the outcome. Be specific. Do not go and send a long keynote address lol.
- Let them hear your tone. Confidence. Clarity.
Voice notes close better than paragraphs. Ask for permission. Something like "Kindly permit me send you a 45 seconds VN."

5. Set up a “first-message” response script.
Every serious offer should have:
- A welcome message
- A quick outline of what they’ll get
- A payment link (number) or booking step
- Optional testimonial or result screenshot
Make buying easy. Don’t let curiosity die in your DMs on WhatsApp.

I was happy that she told me, and immediately, I told my other siblings, and we entered into 21 days fasting for our mother. We all gathered money and sowed dangerous battle seed. Before now, our mother has been complaining of pain on her breast as a result of the attack. Listen, this testimony is shocking. The same person my mom saw in the dream that attacked her breast, was the same woman that went to bed and did not wake up, and on the night of her wake keep, one of them slumped and died. Teaching is 001 when it comes to professions that give you a big heart and an empty account.

You build nations, raise presidents, shape doctors and engineers…

Yet when your legs grow weak, and your voice gets tired, the same system throws you into silence.

Let’s talk facts:

Starting salary? Between ₦75k to ₦80k.

Transport fare and food? ₦1,500 – ₦2,000 per day.

What’s left after family, church contributions, and survival? PEANUTS.

You wake up by 5 a.m., go teach stubborn students, mark 120 scripts, attend endless meetings, go home with headaches, and repeat it 5 days a week…

…Only to retire and depend on pension money that doesn’t even come regularly.

Reality:

Teachers get respect, not results.

Teachers are praised in speeches but punished by salary structures.

Teachers retire tired and often broke.

ESCAPE PLAN:

Monetize what you know: Start online tutorials, digital lesson notes, or eBooks for students.
