Temptation is all over our phones these days and we have been programmed to “swipe left” because we believe there is always someone better.
The constant need to look elsewhere will leave people in a never ending circle of unhappiness with their significant other.
I honestly think the opposite gender is way to accessible in the 21st century to each other within our mobile devices and men and women talk way too freely where boundaries are crossed blurring the lines of inappropriateness.
So unfortunately, the inappropriate conversations lead to affairs, and they cheat on the one they supposedly love.
People need to take a step back, put their phones down and focus on what’s in front of them, because some people don’t realize how lucky they truly are, to have what they currently have in a relationship.
We should stop giving people the attention who don't deserve it and start focusing on the ones that do.
Do me a favor, and appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had.

As President, he lowered his salary to $450 a month and limited his possessions to a car, four bikes, three guitars, a fridge and a broken freezer.

He opposed foreign aid, saying that “he who feeds you, controls you.”

Drove out French imperialism & withdrew Burkina Faso from IMF.

What about Giant Of Africa?
Sankara's legacy shames Africa's corrupt ruling class. His axiom-"He who feeds you, controls you" —exposes Nigeria's folly: a "giant of Africa" begging for foreign aid while its leaders stash billions abroad. If four years could birth such progress in impoverished Burkina Faso, why has 63 years of oil wealth left Nigeria in ruins? The answer is a vampire elite allergic to sacrifice. Until Nigeria produces leaders-not looters-who emulate Sankara's integrity and people-first governance, our descent into chaos will continue. As Sankara proved, real change needs courage, not empty slogans.

African champions, the Super Falcons, will arrive in Abuja, the country’s capital, on Monday (today) for a trophy parade before meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, following their victory over Morocco in Saturday’s WAFCON 2024 final, the NFF has announced.
The Falcons produced a memorable comeback in Rabat to beat host nation Morocco 3–2 in the final, sealing a record-extending 10th WAFCON crown.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the 10-time African champions are scheduled to land at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by midday, with a hero’s welcome and a celebratory parade planned across key parts of the Federal Capital Territory.
The NFF also confirmed plans for an open-roof bus parade, with the players and technical crew expected to move through strategic routes including Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama and Wuse Market before heading to the Presidential Villa.
“We are making arrangements to have a trophy parade with the players and their coaches in an open-roof bus, and plying through Airport Road, Berger junction, Maitama and Wuse Market areas all the way to the Presidential Villa,” NFF General Secretary Dr Mohammed Sanusi said in a statement on Sunday.
“This will afford a good number of people in those areas to have a rare sight of the Women’s AFCON trophy.”
President Bola Tinubu has said he can’t wait to receive the WAFCON trophy, assuring the Super Falcons of a befitting celebration when they arrive from Morocco.
Tinubu shared in the celebrations of the team during a video call with them and their officials on Sunday. “As a team, we are very proud of you; the entire nation is proud of you. You lifted our spirits, and we are all very happy,” Tinubu said.
“You will be celebrated, and I congratulate all the coaches and the management of the team, including the ministers and officials.
“To set the record of victories for the 10th time is not a small feat for the country and the continent as a whole. Safe journey back home, enjoy yourselves and avoid injuries.”
When Captain Rasheedat Ajibade also appreciated the President for approving the payment of their bonuses and promised to present the trophy in Abuja, Tinubu also responded, “Good, I am looking forward to that.”
The thrilling win marked the 10th triumph of the Falcons on the continental stage after their previous triumphs in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018.

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his delight at the Super Falcons' spectacular victory at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), stating that he eagerly looks forward to receiving the trophy in Abuja.
In a post-match video call with team captain Rasheedat Ajibade, her teammates, and Nigerian officials, President Tinubu congratulated the team on securing a record 10th continental title and lifting the nation's spirits.
I am very, very proud of you. The entire nation is proud of you. You have lifted our spirits. You are a pride to your generation and we are all very happy.
"You will be celebrated, and I congratulate all the coaches and management of the team, including the ministers and the officials," he said.
The President extended his best regards to Rasheedat Ajibade, who emerged as the tournament's Most Valuable Player and clinched the Woman of the Tournament award.
He also praised Esther Okoronkwo's composure during a crucial moment in the final, describing her 64th-minute penalty kick, which sparked a dramatic comeback, as "very courageous."
Okoronkwo created the second goal and delivered the decisive free-kick that Jennifer Echegini converted to seal Nigeria's 3-2 victory.
''Safe journey home, enjoy yourselves, avoid injuries, God bless you,'' the President told the jubilant players and officials, who repeatedly interjected with ''Thank you, Mr President!''
Responding on behalf of the team, Ajibade thanked the President for approving the full payment of players' allowances. She assured him the team was eager to present him with the WAFCON trophy in Abuja.
The lively exchange ended with a spirited rendition of the national anthem and three thunderous "Gbosa!" cheers for the President.

Part 7: A Voice for the Voiceless

Two years had passed.

Ifeoluwa was no longer the silent, broken girl crying on the church floor at midnight. She had become a woman with a mission. With the help of a Christian counselor and a local NGO, she started a foundation called “Daughters of Grace.”

It began with five girls in a classroom. Girls who had been abused. Girls who had been silenced. Girls like her.

She taught them about self-worth, healing, boundaries, and forgiveness—not because she had it all figured out, but because she knew what it meant to feel lost.

Part 8: Love After Pain

Then came Tunde.

He was a youth pastor, soft-spoken, and deeply respectful. When he heard her speak at an event for survivors, he was moved to tears.

He didn’t approach her immediately. He prayed first.

When he did speak to her, he said,
"I don’t just see a beautiful woman, I see a warrior. I see someone who chose to rise instead of rot."

She was afraid to love again. Afraid to trust.

But Tunde was patient. He never rushed her. He held her hand without touching her soul too deeply too soon.

After months of friendship, he asked,
"Can I walk with you through life—not to complete you, but to complement the strength you already have?"

She said yes—with eyes full of tears.

Part 9: Beauty from Ashes

On her wedding day, she walked down the aisle not in white to symbolize purity others judged, but in royal purple—to symbolize royalty, rebirth, and grace.

When the pastor said, "You may kiss the bride," Tunde instead kissed her forehead and whispered,
"Your body is not a battlefield, it is a blessing. And I will honor it, always."

That night, they prayed together before they lay together.

And for the first time in her life, intimacy didn’t feel like theft.
It felt like healing.

Part 10: Redemption’s Legacy

Years later, Ifeoluwa published a book titled:
"Stolen Virginity, Untouched Destiny"
It became a bestseller.

She opened safe homes for abused girls across Nigeria.
She spoke on TV, in churches, and in universities.
She looked directly into the eyes of broken girls and said,
"You are not what happened to you. You are what God says you are."

And as for Seun?
He was arrested years later for repeated abuse and fraud. Justice came—not by Ifeoluwa's hand, but by divine timing.

Ifeoluwa never hated him.

She forgave him… because freedom lives in forgiveness.

Final Words from Ifeoluwa:

“BIAFRA REGARDS ALL YORUBA LAND FRIENDS”.
A LETTER OF OJUKWU TO LT. COL.VICTOR BANJO TO CAPTURE AND LIBERATE MIDWEST AND WESTERN REGION, 22ND AUGUST 1967

My dear Victor,

1. For some time now, you and I have been discussing the circumstances that have led to the current and inevitable disintegration of what was the Federation of Nigeria. We have been fully convinced that the aim of the Hausa/Fulani complex has ever been, and will ever remain, the total domination of every other part of what was known as the Federation of Nigeria. It is impossible to forget that the crisis which led to the army take over in January 1966, the coup of the Northern soldiers led by Gowon in July 1966, the wholesale and indiscriminate massacre of the people of what is now Biafra- and, to a less degree, the people of the Mid-West and West, including the Yorubas, were all the direct result of Hausa/Fulani attempt to subjugate and use as tools, the gallant people of Western Nigeria namely the Yorubas. We do not need to remind ourselves of the heavy losses in life and property suffered by the Yoruba people in their fight for justice and freedom during 1965.

2. Sharing.our belief that the people of Yorubaland have a right to live a life of equality and self-respect and justice free of domination and dictatorship from any quarter, you have both identified with the cause of the Biafra struggle for survival and expressed your determination to see the people of Yorubaland freed from Hausa/Fulani domination. We, the people of Biafra, for our part are willing and have decided to give you and the people of Yorubaland every assistance to achieve your aim.

3. After clearing the whole question with my Executive Council, I, as the Commander in Chief of the Biafran Armed Forces, have decided to place at your disposal Biafran forces, for the liberation of Yorubaland on the following clear conditions:-

(i) You will have nothing to do with the Military Administrator in the Mid-West Territory during your sojourn there prior to your move to the West.

(ii) The willingness and preparedness of Biafra to assist any part of the former Federation of Nigeria wishing and willing to liberate itself from the Hausa/Fulani domination, does not in anyway whatever imply any inclination on her part to compromise her sovereignty or preserve what remains of the defunct Federation of Nigeria. In other words, our sovereignty and break with Nigeria is irrevocable. Nothing must, therefore be said or done by you or any member of the Liberation Army to give a contrary impression.

(iii) Biafra is determined to maintain and safeguard her sovereignty and ensure that her integrity and safety are never again threatened.

(iv) Biafran troops will, after the liberation of the Yorubaland, remain in that territory only for as long as we in Biafra consider it necessary for the Yorubas to consolidate their position and sovereignty against any external threat.

(v) On the liberation of the Yorubaland, you will be appointed as the Military Governor of that territory.

(vi) The liberation of Western Nigeria will be a prelude to the liberation of all Yorubas up to the River Niger and the severance of all connections between the West and the North at Jebba.

(vii) During the period of Biafrans troops’ presence in your territory, all political measures, statements or decrees shall be subject to the approval, in writing by myself or on my authority.

(viii) Should our troops arrive and liberate Lagos, the government of the Republic of Biafra reserves the right to appoint a Military administrator for the territory. Such an Administrator will remain in office until a merger of that territory with Yorubaland is effected by Biafran troops.

(ix) As soon as possible after your appointment as the Military Governor of Western Nigeria and separation of that territory from Nigeria, you and I must meet to discuss: (a) the duration of stay of Biafran troops in your territory; (b) the areas and subjects of cooperation between the liberated sovereign states of Western Nigeria, or by what name it may call itself, and Biafra.

4. I do not need to remind you that Biafra regards all Yoruba as friends. As such everything should be done, to ensure the minimum force and loss of life are involved in achieving the objective of liberation.

5. It is essential, in order to avoid misunderstanding or confusion, that all subsequent requests for support be formally made to me by you in writing.

6. Will you please signify in writing, your acceptance of the above conditions so that you may leave for Western Nigeria and lead the army of liberation.
