  • Most Gracious Lord, Your sacrifice on the cross through Jesus Christ has lifted the burdens too heavy for my shoulders. With gratitude, I acknowledge that though I may stumble, I am not forsaken. In Your boundless grace, I find the strength to rise again.

Guide me, O Lord, through the trials and the missteps, and grant me the courage to press on without the chains of shame. Let me walk the miles needed, however numerous they may be, with the knowledge that my journey is not measured by perfection, but by the grace of sanctification at work within me.

I cherish Your mercies, fresh with each dawn, and Your love that knows no end. May this day be a testament to Your enduring faithfulness, as I walk in the assurance of Your promises. In the precious name of Jesus, I lift this prayer. Amen.

  • Good day, brethren. Today's verse, to refresh our spirit & self- examine ourselves, from James 4:17 says, "Therefore, to him that knoweth to do good & doeth it not, to him it is sin". Wow, what a precarious situation! Sitting on the fence is not allowed. Not even ignorance, which though is no excuse, but may reduce guilt is. But yet, God is saying that, even though one may not have committed any sin by our actions, our inaction, by knowing & not doing what is right & proper, is equally a sin! This verse speaks to the sin of omission of doing what is right, even when we know better.
So, from God's perspective, knowledge is not only power, but comes with responsibility & accountability! For instance, if you know you should be grateful, humble, helpful when you can, forgive others, & choose to ignore these acts, & many more, James 4:17 calls such inactions, sin! Our inactions derive from our disobedience, self-centeredness & pride, against the will, plan & purpose of God. Brethren, let us run with this revelation & ask for grace to serve God on His terms & not ours. This is what pleases Him. Accordingly, let us sensitise others, to submit to serving God His way, not theirs, through Christ, pls!

  • Marriage alone won’t make you happy or complete you.

    Get a life.

I enjoy my marriage today not just because I have a man who loves me or lovely kids,

But I enjoy my marriage because I’m living a life of purpose and fulfilling my dreams.

Some of the women who are depressed in marriage are so because they made their whole lives about their partner or kids.

When the kids suddenly grow and get their own homes, they become unhappy, lost, and bitter.

Why? Because they never built anything for themselves.

Dear woman, marriage is a part of your life, not your entire life.

You still have dreams. You still have potential.

You were created with purpose before you became a wife or mother.

Don’t wait until you’re 50 to start asking, “Who am I outside this home?”

    Develop your own passions.

Build a career, a brand, a mission, something that lights your soul up.

So that even when the house gets quiet and the kids move out, your life still feels full, because you’re not just someone’s wife or mother.

    You’re you.

Build a life so rich and meaningful that marriage becomes a blessing, not a burden.

    Your happiness is your responsibility.

Don’t abandon yourself in the name of love.

  • Title: The Dying Mermaid Begged The fisherman to Raise her baby But With Conditions

The morning mist clung to the Atlantic waters like the breath of ancestors when Baba Tunde first saw her. She lay half-submerged in the shallows where the great river kissed the sea, her dark skin glistening with scales that caught the early light like scattered diamonds. Blóód clouded the water around her.

"Fisherman," she whispered, her voice carrying the sound of waves breaking on distant shores. "Come closer."

Baba Tunde had been casting his nets in these waters for thirty-seven years. He had seen strange things—lights that danced beneath the waves, voices that called from the deep on moonless nights. But never this. Never a woman with a fish's tail, holding a crying infant to her breast.

"You are dying," he said, setting down his net and wading toward her.

"Yes." Her eyes, dark as the ocean's depths, fixed on his face. "But my child must live. Will you take her?"

The baby's cries pierced the morning air. She was perfect—tiny fingers, a crown of black curls, skin the color of rich earth. Human in every way that mattered.

"I am old," Baba Tunde said. "My wife dièd five seasons ago. I have no milk to give."

"Mama Efe in your village lost her own child three days past. Her breasts are heavy with sorrow and milk. She will nurse my daughter." The mermaid's breathing grew labored, and with great effort, she pressed a glowing conch shell into Baba Tunde's weathered palm. "But there are conditions."

Baba Tunde felt his heart quicken. In all the stories his grandmother told, conditions from the spirit world were never simple. "What conditions?"

The mermaid pressed the child into his arms. The infant stopped crying instantly, her large eyes—so like her mother's—staring up at him with an unsettling intelligence.

"I cannot tell you now," the mermaid gasped. "The knowledge must come when the time is right, or it will poîson everything. But know this—if you break even one condition, she will be lost to the depths forever, and you will follow her."

"How will I know what they are?"

The mermaid's lips curved in a painful smile. "Watch the shell. When it dims, listen to your heart. When it stops glowing..." Her voice grew fainter. "When it stops glowing, bring her back to this exact spot. That is all I can tell you now."

  • For no man has the monopoly of wisdom. You may not be wise at all times, and in all things, therefore, submitting to superior knowledge is a demonstration of wisdom. The wise does not know everything about, but he applies the little he knows in every relevant field to make his life productive and fruitful.
