Dear Bad Days, Thank you for letting me practice gratitude on days it’s so difficult to smile. Despite your crappy presence, your challenge is an opportunity for me to learn and grow, it reminds me to still be thankful on days when it feels so hard and overwhelming. Your visit reminds me to appreciate the good ones. To be adaptive to changing circumstances. And to be extra gentle with my heart and mind. But sometimes it takes a lot of work to just be okay, so please don’t visit too often. If you ever come again, it’s alright. I’ve gone through you before; I know that I’m strong enough to do it again.
