  • If You Marry for Love—You Lose. Marriage Is Not Romance. It’s a Strategic Investment.

    Let’s stop deceiving ourselves.

    Love is not enough.

    Romance won’t sustain you.

And marriage built on feelings will collapse under pressure.

Because marriage isn’t an emotional experiment.

    It’s a power move.

    1. Feelings Fade—Structure Stays

    You’re happy today. Great.

But what happens when money gets tight?

What happens when you lose your job?

What happens when she wakes up and says, “I’m not in love anymore”?

If your marriage was built on butterflies, expect it to collapse once the wind changes.

Love is a spark. But marriage needs fuel.

    Vision. Structure. Alignment. Sacrifice. Strategy.

    2. If You’re 70 and You Marry 30—Your Household Is 50

    Let’s talk logic.

    You’re wise. She’s fresh.

But instead of raising your stock, she drops the average.

    You’re thinking legacy—she’s thinking TikTok.

You’re building wealth—she’s building “influencer reels.”

(She’s not even ready to build it into a media business.)

You’ve seen war—she’s crying because you forgot to comment on her new selfie.

And now you’re stuck in a marriage that drags you backward.

    Because you married vibes—not vision.

    3. Marriage Is a Merger—Not a Movie

When two become one, it’s not about hugs and kisses.

It’s about merging empires. Consolidating influence.

    Combining assets. Multiplying momentum.

    Even the Bible said:

“One will chase a thousand, two will chase ten thousand.”

But what if the “two” is a liability?

What if she’s chasing dopamine instead of purpose?

What if she’s more obsessed with matching pajamas than matching values?

Now, you’re running with dead weight.

Fighting alone. Providing alone. Planning alone.

    And she’s somewhere saying,
    “I don’t like forcing things.”

    4. Modern Girls Don’t Grind—They Ghost

    Let’s be real.

    Many modern women want:

    • Love with no labor
    • Comfort with no contribution
    • Leadership with no loyalty

    She wants a soft life—but won’t lift a finger.

She’s jobless, but has high taste.

She’s broke, but her demands come in six figures.

She says you’re stressing her mental health—because you asked about her career goals.

Try to build with her, and she’ll say,
“This isn’t flowing naturally. I need space.”

    5.Her Submission Is a “Maybe”

    Her obligations are “Optional”

    Today’s woman wants:

    • To reply when she feels like
    • To submit if the vibe is right
    • To bear children only when convenient
    • To pause the relationship if she’s “not in the mood”

Any hint of hardship, she’s gone.

Any serious talk, she’s “emotionally unavailable.”

Any call for accountability, she’s “being controlled.”

And if you dare lead with firmness?

    She’ll tell Twitter you’re a narcissist.

    6. Dysfunction Is the New Normal

Many modern girls were raised in chaos.

    Divorced parents. Absent fathers.

    Traumatized mothers.

And instead of healing, they brought that chaos into dating.

So when you show up with purpose and structure?

    She calls it “too much.”

She wants a soft man who’s strong.

    A rich man who’s humble.

A loyal man who doesn’t ask questions.

She wants everything—but gives almost nothing.

    So Here’s the Brutal Truth:

    Marriage is a system.

If you don’t build it with strategy, it will collapse in drama.

    Stop marrying for butterflies.

    Start marrying for alignment.

    For values. For vision.

Pick a partner who multiplies your purpose—not one who multiplies your pain.

Because at the end of the day…

It’s not who makes your heart skip.

It’s who helps you finish the race.

    Marry wisely.

Remember—when it finally comes to a divorce, obligations are enforceable by law, but no one can compel her to keep loving you and riding your joystick that’s insisting she’s the best rider it has ever seen.

Speak with wisdom in the comments, I will like to have your opinions.

    Copied.

She’s broke, but her demands come in six figures. She says you’re stressing her mental health—because you asked about her career goals. Try to build with her, and she’ll say, “This isn’t flowing naturally. I need space.” 5.Her Submission Is a “Maybe” Her obligations are “Optional” Today’s woman wants: • To reply when she feels like • To submit if the vibe is right • To bear children only when convenient • To pause the relationship if she’s “not in the mood” Any hint of hardship, she’s gone. Any serious talk, she’s “emotionally unavailable.” Any call for accountability, she’s “being controlled.” And if you dare lead with firmness? She’ll tell Twitter you’re a narcissist. 6. Dysfunction Is the New Normal Many modern girls were raised in chaos. Divorced parents. Absent fathers. Traumatized mothers. And instead of healing, they brought that chaos into dating. So when you show up with purpose and structure? She calls it “too much.” She wants a soft man who’s strong. A rich man who’s humble. A loyal man who doesn’t ask questions. She wants everything—but gives almost nothing. So Here’s the Brutal Truth: Marriage is a system. If you don’t build it with strategy, it will collapse in drama. Stop marrying for butterflies. Start marrying for alignment. For values. For vision. Pick a partner who multiplies your purpose—not one who multiplies your pain. Because at the end of the day… It’s not who makes your heart skip. It’s who helps you finish the race. Marry wisely. Remember—when it finally comes to a divorce, obligations are enforceable by law, but no one can compel her to keep loving you and riding your joystick that’s insisting she’s the best rider it has ever seen. • Breaking: Vice President Shettima knocks NAHCON Chairman, Tells Him To Stop Behaving Like A Sole Admistrator.
Vice President Kashim Shettima has issued a stern directive to the Chairman and Chief Executive of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Prof. Abdullahi Saleh-Usman, cautioning him against operating the commission as though it were a one-man show. In an official communication addressed to the NAHCON boss, the vice president expressed concerns about alleged violations of procurement protocols, improper appointments, and the marginalization of board members. Dated March 17, 2025, the letter—bearing reference number SH/OVP/DCOS/NAHCON and titled ‘Re-Deliberate Exclusion from the Exercise of Oversight Functions’—was signed by Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President in the Office of the Vice President.
Shettima criticized the chairman’s practice of forming committees to make key decisions, arguing that such actions bypass the collective authority granted to the board under the commission’s legal framework. “The act does not envisage a sole administrator role and each member has a responsibility to the zone or entity he or she represents especially with regards all decisions relating to pilgrims welfare,” Mr Shettima warned. He further referenced concerns raised at a February 4, 2025 meeting where the chairman was said to have acknowledged certain lapses but failed to address them afterward. “Their letter states that they raised these issues at a meeting on February 4th 2025 where the chairman acknowledged and apologised for the lapses but apparently did nothing to address them going forward,” the VP said. “Accordingly, His Excellency the Vice President has asked that your attention be drawn to the provisions of the NAHCON act especially the supplementary provisions governing the proceedings of the commission where all reference to the powers and regulatory responsibility of the commission refers to it as a whole,” the letter said. Shettima urged Prof. Usman to ensure that board members are actively involved in decision-making, warning against rendering them redundant. “To ensure that the members of the commission are given their due as envisaged by the NAHCON act so that they are not rendered redundant and to ensure that all major decisions of the commission are in compliance with the law,” the VP emphasized. This intervention follows a petition submitted by eight non-permanent commissioners of NAHCON. Dated March 13, 2025, and titled “Deliberate exclusion from the oversight functions,” the petition accused the chairman of sidelining them from their statutory duties.

  • START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE

Many times people say they are held back from starting their businesses by a lack of capital. I say start working with whatever you have. That thing could be:

A business idea. Have you thought about how you're going to execute it? Every business idea needs work before you can execute. You need a plan, strategy, research, vision and proper actionable steps if you're going to succeed.

A skill you got from your parents growing up. What skill can you use to make money? This could simply be something you did with your parents like farming, poultry, baking, hair dressing, designing etc. Having that skill is one thing but refining that skill so that it's marketable is another. Work on that.

Knowledge from school or streets. Anything you learn is salable, this is why they say the more you learn the more you earn. You can use even the experience you have from your job to start a business. But you need to find a way of packaging it so you can make money from it. And that takes work.

Money without a proper idea, skill or knowledge will be wasted. Hear it from me. Don't despair if you don't have capital. Start working on yourself so that when the money shows up it'll find you ready.

I wish you all the success in the world.

  • TEACH YOUR DAUGHTERS THAT

They are five (5) important dresses a woman should wear in her lifetime.

    These are:

    1. School uniform
    2. Matriculation gown
    3. Graduation gown
    4. Wedding gown
    5. Maternity gown

Let your daughters know; That if any girl skips the 2nd dress, she will not get to wear the 3rd.

Daughters must not rush to wear the 5th just because a man has promised them the 4th.

More so, the 4th fits better and more prestigious if worn before the 5th.

Our daughters must learn to wait and follow the dress pattern from 1 to 5.

Be a good parent and Christian leader.

We have this as a responsibility to our Children as parents.

    And it is Very important.

These little autonomous vehicles roll through the city, stop at set locations, and let customers grab their pre-ordered meals through a touchscreen or an app. Fast food just went full sci-fi.

Imagine walking outside and your lunch pulls up like, “Hey, I brought the chicken.”

  • My husband earns about 800k monthly. He gives me 200k for the home, and we have three kids. Then he gives me 60k to give to the kids to take to school till it's finished and then he gives 100k for me to use for petty expenses (electricity and other unforseen needs that may rise, like buying a pill or socks or anything petty). That makes a total of 360k. So he keeps 440k for himself.

So recently, I asked him to show me his account balance since he has always kept that much to himself, but he ignored me. So I later went to check the account myself and saw he had just about 14M there. Meanwhile it's been over three years and I was expecting to see more.

He eats at home except lunch. He doesn't do anything except send money to his parents and mine once a while and pay the kids school fees thrice in a year and it's nothing more than 300k for a term. He may help his siblings, but that's also once a while.

So I demanded he explain how he had only 14M in his account. This man started to gaslight me. Asking if he ever asked me how much I had in my account and talking about my 130k salary. We haven't spoke for days because of this issue and he won't even apologise and explain himself.

Can you believe he told me this morning to leave the marriage if I want to because he's never going to talk about the money with me? Is this a serious man who wants a future for his family?

How can I stay with a man who is not accountable with finances?? I am leaving

where they spent most of there "growing up" life there and dey are very proud of there humble beginnings .. a time when everyone treated each other like family, dey went outside to play in the streets, played ema baba and climbed trees. Dey didn't eat fast food ....dey ate Groundnuts, Kulikuli, Puff Puff, Buns, agidi jollof with biscuit bone, choco milo sweets, Nasco or cabin biscuits and home made food and we got ice cream from the ice-cream man tied in a polythene bag. Dey played ten-ten, Suwe, game boy, hide and seek(bojo bojo), street football, tinkutinku little star, table soccer, kite, koso, open kolo, mama n papa, in and out police and thief, Pepsi Pepsi cola, etc. And then enjoyed visiting there neighbors, Families and friends.
There was no bottled water , dey drank water from the tap or bought Ice-water tied in a polythene bag, if we had a drink, dey would share the same bottle of juice...after giving it a wipe with our mucky sleeves, dey had analog tv, that can be open sideways like a wardrobe, only to be switched on at 4pm on weekdays and 10am on weekends; we ride our tyres, boris cart, or spoke wheel or played in the rain for hours. There was no such thing as a mobile phone or any other electronic device . Dey weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING (except maybe the Nurse's injection, the Teachers at school and our parents ) If someone had a fight, that's what it was...a fist fight. Kids didn't have guns or knives, we played cowboys & crooks. The street lights were your curfew or until your Mom shouted out the window. School was mandatory, The days of going to school in groups just so we can gist, slab(walk) from our home to school, some cases 5 - 10 kilometers and buy dankuwa, Gudygudy and condense milk, babadudu with our pocket money. • 8 important medical tests you should take before marriage

Marriage is a beautiful and lifelong commitment, but before saying “I do,” it is important for couples to undergo important medical tests to ensure a healthy future together.

These tests help in preventing potential health risks, ensuring compatibility, and preparing for a healthy family. Ignoring these screenings could lead to unforeseen medical and genetic challenges. Here are the important medical tests every couple must take.

    1. Blood Group and Rhesus Factor Test
Understanding blood compatibility is essential, especially for pregnancy. If a woman with Rh-negative blood type marries an Rh-positive man, their baby may develop Rhesus incompatibility, which can lead to severe health issues.

    2. Genotype Compatibility Test
This test is crucial to prevent sickle cell disease. If both partners have the AS, SS, or SC genotype, there is a high chance of giving birth to a child with sickle cell anemia, a painful and lifelong condition. Couples should ensure genotype compatibility before marriage.

    3. HIV/AIDS Test,HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a serious disease that affects the immune system. Getting tested before marriage ensures that both partners are aware of their status and can take the necessary precautions to protect their health and that of their future children.

    4. Hepatitis B and C Screening
Hepatitis B and C are viral infections that affect the liver and can be transmitted through unprotected sex, blood transfusion, or from mother to child. Early detection can help in managing the disease and preventing transmission.

    5. Fertility Test
Many couples face fertility challenges after marriage without prior knowledge of their reproductive health. Testing for sperm count, ovulation status, and hormone levels can help in identifying any potential fertility issues early and finding possible solutions.

    6. Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) Screening
STIs such as syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and herpes can cause complications if left untreated. They may lead to infertility, pregnancy complications, or transmission to the baby. Screening ensures early detection and treatment.

    7. Genetic and Hereditary Diseases Screening

Genetic disorders like cystic fibrosis, hemophilia, and Tay-Sachs disease can be passed from parents to children. A genetic screening test helps determine if either partner carries genes for inherited conditions. This makes them plan accordingly.

    8. Diabetes and Hypertension Test
Diabetes and high blood pressure (hypertension) can affect fertility, pregnancy, and overall health. Checking for these conditions allows couples to manage their health before starting a family.

These important medical tests before marriage are essential for a healthy and happy future. Couples should visit a qualified healthcare provider for these tests and seek professional advice based on the results.
