"I did not resign from my appointment as the sole administrator of Ahoada-East. I was attacked in my office, and the letter they brought was not signed by me. I know nothing about the letter.
~Goodluck Iheanacho, the Sole Administrator of Ahoada East Local Government Area in Rivers State has refuted reports of his resignation.

“I did not resign from my appointment as the sole administrator of Ahoada-East. I was attacked in my office, and the letter they brought was not signed by me. I know nothing about the letter.
“I want to tell members of the public that I did not resign as the sole administrator of Ahoada-East, and any other information aired is null and void. I am still the sole administrator of Ahoada-East.”

However, Hector Ekeakita, who is the Chief Security Officer of the council, insisted that Iheamnacho resigned.

“He (Iheamnacho) was not attacked by thugs. Let’s tell Nigerians the truth, those were Ahoada-East youths who came in their mass to tell him, ‘please, our brother, you are siphoning money. Just two months in office, you have decided not to take care of our environment.’
“They said he should tell them why the LGA is dirty. No staff come to work. And he stays in Port Harcourt to administer his administration. So the youths were angry and they blocked him, so with that pressure he said he does not want to do it again.”

▪︎Mr. Goodluck Iheamnacho’s appointment as Sole Administrator of Ahoada East LGA was part of a larger development in Rivers State, where 23 local government administrators were appointed by the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd.).

  • Peter Obi: “₦210 Trillion Missing — Nigeria Is Officially a Crime Scene”

In a startling critique of Nigeria’s financial landscape, former presidential candidate Peter Obi has once again sounded the alarm on rampant corruption. This time, he’s reacting to the Senate’s shocking disclosure of ₦210 trillion in discrepancies found in the NNPC’s audited accounts from 2017 to 2023.

According to the Senate report, the figures are staggering:

₦103 trillion listed as "accrued expenses", ₦107 trillion in unaccounted "receivables"

And the worst part? There’s no documentation, no explanations, and absolutely no accountability.

Obi didn’t hold back, stating, “This isn’t just another scandal — it’s proof that Nigeria has turned into a cr!me scene.”

To put things into perspective, the entire national budget from 2017 to 2023 was only ₦88 trillion — that’s less than half of what’s been lost or mishandled by a single state-owned entity.

“This is a crim!nal, institutionalized betrayal of the Nigerian people,” Obi declared. “No responsible nation operates this way. This is crim!nality disguised as governance.”

He emphasized that unless Nigeria tackles this deep-rooted corruption, the future of our children will remain at risk.

    His parting message?

“A new Nigeria is POssible. But only if we dismantle the rot.”

Nigerians, the numbers speak for themselves. How much longer will we put up with this level of impunity?
