SIGNIFICANCE OF IRAQ in the BIBLE

Very interesting, Heart Touching and Educating.

    *DID YOU KNOW THAT?*

*1.* The garden of Eden was in Iraq.

*2.* Mesopotamia which is now Iraq was the cradle of civilization!

*3.* Noah built the ark in Iraq.

*4.* The Tower of Babel was in Iraq.

*5.* Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!

*6.* Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor which is in Iraq.

*7.* Jacob met Rachel in Iraq.

*8.* Jonah preached in Nineveh, which is in Iraq.

*9.* Assyria which is in Iraq conquered the ten tribes of Israel.

*10.* Amos cried out in Iraq!

*11.* Babylon which is in Iraq destroyed Jerusalem.

*12.* Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!

*13.* The 3 Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq.

*14.* Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq.

*15.* Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq.

    *16.* Ezekiel preached in Iraq.

*17.* The wise men were from Iraq.

    *18.* Peter preached in Iraq.

*19.* The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon which was a city in Iraq!

*AND, DID YOU ALSO KNOW THAT?*

Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Chaldean, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. Here's why:

    Eden was in Iraq-Genesis 2:10-14
Adam & Eve were created in Iraq-Genesis 2:7-8
Satan made his first recorded appearance in Iraq-Genesis 3:1-6
Nimrod established Babylon & Tower of Babel was built in Iraq-Genesis 10:8-97; 11:1-4
The confusion of the languages took place in Iraq-Genesis 11:5-11
Abraham came from a city in Iraq-Genesis 11:31; Acts 7:2-4
    Isaac's bride came from Iraq-Genesis 24:3-4; 10
    Jacob spent 20 years in Iraq-Genesis 27:42-45; 31:38
The first world Empire was in Iraq-Daniel 1:1-2;2:36-38
The greatest revival in history was in a city in Iraq-Jonah 3
The events of the book of Esther took place in Iraq-Esther
The book of Nahum was a prophecy against a city in Iraq-Nahum
The book or Revelation has prophecies against Babylon, which was the old name for the nation of Iraq-Revelation 17 &18

No other nation, except Israel, that has more history and prophecy associated to it than Iraq.

    Surprised???

  • HOW TO BE POOR AND HOW TO GET RICH — The Choice is Yours
If after 4 years in a higher institution you’re still roaming the streets looking for a job, you need to hear this: you’ve failed—monumentally.
Let’s stop pampering mediocrity. We’re in a country where truth sounds like hate because too many people are emotionally allergic to accountability.
How do we explain that someone who studied Business Administration is now begging a secondary school dropout for job opportunities?
How do we have graduates of Agriculture going hungry, when food is gold?
Here's the bitter truth: poverty is not always a curse from the devil; often, it’s a system we’ve bought into with our mindset, our ego, and our excuses.
    Let’s break this down:
1️⃣ Pride: The Graduate Mentality Trap
We want soft life. AC offices. Clean suits. Titles. But reality doesn’t pay you for your degree; it pays you for value.
Artisan jobs are dying. In 10 years, Nigeria may have no more plumbers, welders, painters—everyone is chasing office jobs. Yet, the ones creating generational wealth are those with tools in their hands and solutions in their heads.
Being a graduate shouldn’t stop you from picking up a skill. The world is changing, but are you?
    2️⃣ Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome
Everyone wants to hammer, but no one wants to suffer.
There was a lady in my former church who kept disturbing me about venturing into tech because she heard I make good money. What she didn’t see were my 7 years of trials, the 2 years of no clients, the cancelled N2M deals, the sleepless nights, the rejections.
You want what people have, but can you handle what they went through?
Wealth takes time. 5 to 7 years of focused grind—minimum. Stop starting today and expecting harvest tomorrow. That’s not entrepreneurship; that’s fantasy.
    3️⃣ Lack of Mentorship
We spend millions to learn how to drive. But who teaches us how to make money, live purposefully, or build wealth?
When Dr. Stephen Akintayo charges for mentorship, people cry scam. Yet they spend the same amount on phones, parties, and clothes. Poverty thrives where knowledge is undervalued.
Mentorship is not free—it demands money or service. But it shortens your journey by years. Find someone ahead of you and serve your way into wisdom.
    4️⃣ The “Only Me” Mentality
We compete instead of collaborate. We want to outshine, not uplift. But the wealthiest communities—like the Jews—grow as a unit.
Africa needs to understand: teamwork will take you farther than talent.
    5️⃣ Lack of Integrity
Our handshake is not worth a promise. We lie, we cheat, we scam—then pray for breakthrough.
We must return to honesty, accountability, and trust. You can’t build lasting wealth without a name people can vouch for.
    6️⃣ The Mentality Problem
Survival Mentality: Just eating and breathing is not the goal of life.
Receiver’s Mentality: Always collecting, never creating.
Hunter’s Mentality: Eat today, die tomorrow. No long-term vision.
    7️⃣ The Bandwagon Effect
You start what’s trending, not what’s purposeful. That’s why we have failed forex traders, half-baked tech bros, and abandoned POS kiosks everywhere.
Purpose is personal. You must find your lane, not just follow the noise.
    8️⃣ False Priorities
    We put all hope in:
    God (without work)
    Classroom education (without skills)
    Government (without responsibility)
Faith without works is dead. Education without action is useless. Government without personal accountability is hopeless.
    9️⃣ Mindset is Everything
Until your mind changes, your life can’t. You cannot carry a poor man’s mentality into a rich man’s future. Wealth starts from within.
    Environment Shapes Destiny
Your location can limit your vision. Surroundings influence success. You can’t live in a dump and dream of a palace without mental relocation first.
Move. Change your crowd. Redesign your inputs.
Until you break these chains, you will remain exactly where you are: educated, frustrated, and broke.
    The choice is yours.
Be poor. Or rise. Your future is not a prophecy; it’s a decision.

  • DON’T MOCK A MAN IN A DRY SEASON

Don’t laugh at a man just because he’s broke.
Don’t despise him because his hands are empty.
Don’t assume God has left him just because his pockets are quiet.
Every dry season is a setup for supernatural rain.

Before you talk about him, pray for him.
Before you walk past him, remember this: every giant was once a shepherd.
God hides His greatest vessels in silent places before He reveals them with fire.

You don’t know what oil he carries.
You don’t know what throne is tied to his name.
You don’t know what prophecy is waiting for his yes.

Today he may be walking, but tomorrow he will own the chariot.
Today he may be begging, but tomorrow he will be blessing nations.
Don’t be the one who mocked what God was molding.

    Respect the process.
    Honor the silence.
Celebrate the rising even before it comes.

Because when God finishes with him, he will be unrecognizable.

I don’t mock dry men. I speak to their rain. I don’t despise the becoming. I recognize destiny in disguise.

HOW TO BE POOR AND HOW TO GET RICH — The Choice is Yours 🚨 If after 4 years in a higher institution you’re still roaming the streets looking for a job, you need to hear this: you’ve failed—monumentally. Let’s break this down: 1️⃣ Pride: The Graduate Mentality Trap We want soft life. 2️⃣ Get-Rich-Quick Syndrome Everyone wants to hammer, but no one wants to suffer. 3️⃣ Lack of Mentorship We spend millions to learn how to drive. But who teaches us how to make money, live purposefully, or build wealth? When Dr. Stephen Akintayo charges for mentorship, people cry scam. Yet they spend the same amount on phones, parties, and clothes. Poverty thrives where knowledge is undervalued. • Wonder why Pope Francis picked Iraq to visit last week?

  • People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed, and the more they find a way to succeed. Similarly, when someone is failing, the tendency is to get on a downward spiral that can even become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

  • *THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE*

    DATE: MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2025

    THEME: *LOOK UP*

    MEMORIZE
    Luke 21:28
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

    READ
    Luke 21:28-36
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
    And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

    THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
*Watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door.*

    MESSAGE
When everything fails as surely as they will, men will be compelled to look up.

Looking up is the only direction that seems to be making sense in these last days considering the global confusion amongst the nations.

Uncertainty fills the air over the nations of the world; global leaders are confused as to what next to expect.

However, behind the scenes of the global unrest is the mighty hand of God moving the hand of the clock ticking towards the end of all things.

He is moving swiftly to round up His agenda for the nations and by so doing, He is inadvertently compelling all men to look up, because He alone has all the answers that men are looking desperately for.

These are the days that the knowledge of the LORD is the strength of men.

As the strength of strong men begins to fail, only those who know the LORD will stay strong enough to keep moving.
In today's text, the Lord Jesus Christ using the fig tree, illustrated the timeline of His return to the earth. The fig tree is figurative of the nation of Israel which became a nation in 1948, and the Lord said, that the generation that witnessed the restoration of Israel [the fig tree] shall not pass away until the last prophecy of the end is fulfilled.

We are that generation that saw Israel became a nation again, we are seeing prophecies fulfilled at an alarming rates.

    Therefore, the warning of the Lord Jesus Christ should be taken more seriously than ever;
Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."

Beloved, whatever you do and wherever you may be, watch and pray always and look up because the end is at the door...

Most importantly, be sure you have surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ for eternity. Tell everyone that is precious to you that Jesus Christ the King of all kings is coming back.

Turn away from every secret sins, keep yourself pure. keep your relationship with the LORD super tight.

Be prepared to meet the LORD!!!

    Shalom, maranatha!

Oh, what a wonderful Saviour is He!
    Guiding, protecting, o’er life’s

Jesus in sickness, and Jesus in health,
Jesus in poverty, comfort or wealth,
Sunshine or tempest, whatever it be,
He is my Safety—Jesus for me!

    3
He is my Refuge, my Rock, and my Tower—
He is my Fortress, my Strength and
    my Power;
Life Everlasting, my Daysman is He,
    Blessed Redeemer—Jesus for me!

    4
He is my Prophet, my Priest,
    and my King;

    and Spring;

    Horn of Salvation—Jesus for me!

*THE RESTORER'S DAILY GUIDE* DATE: MONDAY 23RD JUNE 2025 THEME: *LOOK UP* MEMORIZE Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. READ Luke 21:28-36 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
