• The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Niger State Chapter, under the leadership of Amb. Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq, urgently calls upon His Excellency, Governor Umar Mohammed Bago, to take immediate action regarding the escalating banditry attacks that have been wreaking havoc in the Rijau, Magama, Mariga, and Kontagora Local Government Areas of Niger State. The persistent violence and insecurity in these regions have created a climate of fear and unease among residents, making it imperative for the state government to step in decisively.

These attacks have not only led to loss of lives and properties but have also disrupted the daily lives of countless families, hampering agricultural activities and overall economic stability in the affected areas. The youth council emphasizes the urgent need for enhanced security measures and strategic interventions to restore peace and security in these localities. It is crucial for the government to engage with local leaders, security agencies, and community members to develop comprehensive solutions that address the root causes of banditry and foster a safer environment for all citizens.

Moreover, the council appeals to the state government to consider providing compensation to the families of vigilantes who have lost their lives while bravely defending their communities against these threats. These vigilantes play a vital role in combating insecurity, often placing their lives on the line to protect others. Acknowledging their sacrifices through compensation would not only honor their memory but also encourage continued community involvement in the fight against crime.

In conclusion, the call for immediate intervention and support for the families of fallen vigilantes is vital for rebuilding trust within the community and ensuring that residents feel safe and secure in their homes. The youth council urges the state government to act swiftly and decisively to address these pressing challenges in Niger State.

  • I CAUGHT MY HUSBAND WITH MY BEST FRIEND, BUT WHAT I DID NEXT SCHOCKED EVERYONE.

    EPISODE 1

    FOLLOW ME Justina's Stories
My name is Loveth, and I’m 28 years old. I believed I had the kind of life every woman dreamed of. I was married to a handsome man named Dave, and I had a best friend named Sharon who had been by my side since we were kids. We did everything together—primary school, secondary school, even shared a room during university days. So, when I got married to Dave, it felt only right that Sharon would be like a sister in my new home.

Dave was charming and always full of smiles. He would help in the kitchen sometimes, take me on weekend outings, and randomly bring me flowers. Whenever I posted him on Facebook, girls would comment, “God when?” I always smiled and replied, “God did.”

Sharon was always around too. She would come over to cook with me, gist with me, and even help me when I was tired. If I had a small fight with Dave, she would say, “Don’t worry, he’s just stressed. You two are perfect together.” I trusted her more than I trusted anyone. She even had her own drawer in our house where she kept clothes, in case she slept over. I loved her like blood.

But something didn’t feel right after a while.

Dave started changing. At first, it was small. He began locking his phone with a new password. He would receive calls and walk out of the room to answer them. Sometimes, he would say he was going for a work meeting, but return late at night without smelling like work. Once, I called his office and they said he didn’t come in that day. I asked him, and he said they must have made a mistake. I believed him because… well, I loved him.

Sharon also changed. She stopped sleeping over and became more secretive. One day, I noticed she was wearing the perfume Dave got for me last Christmas. I asked her about it and she laughed, saying, “Ah ah, Loveth, am I not your sister? You can’t share perfume again?” I forced a smile, but my heart was whispering, “Something is wrong.”

The signs kept growing. One evening, I was sick and couldn’t go to the market. Dave said he would go, and I gave him a short list. Thirty minutes later, Sharon called me and said she was just passing by the market. I told her Dave had just gone there. She paused and said, “Oh really? I didn’t see him o…” But I could hear background noise—like she was also there. That day, I began connecting dots, but I had no proof.

A week later, something strange happened. I saw Sharon’s WhatsApp status. She had posted a plate of food that looked just like what I cooked at home the night before. Same plate. Same spoon. Same exact style. I asked her jokingly, “You’ve started copying my plating style?” She laughed it off, but my mind said, “Loveth, shine your eyes.”

    Then came the final straw.

One Saturday morning, Dave told me he was traveling to Lagos for a company seminar. He packed a small bag and left after breakfast. That evening, I cooked egusi soup and pounded yam and decided to surprise Sharon. I hadn’t seen her in a while, and I thought maybe we could talk. I didn’t call her. I wanted it to be a sweet surprise.

I got to her house around 7:30 PM. It was getting dark. I knocked. No answer. I called her name softly. Still silence. Something told me to check the door. I pushed gently—and it opened.

What I saw inside will never leave my memory.

Dave—my husband—and Sharon—my best friend—were sitting on the sofa, both half naked. Sharon wore only a short towel, and Dave had no shirt on. They were laughing and watching a movie. I stood there, frozen. My hands were still holding the food flask.

They didn’t see me immediately. But when I dropped the flask, it made a loud sound.

    They both turned.

Dave’s eyes widened. Sharon’s face drained of all color.

I wanted to scream, but no voice came out.

I didn’t cry. I didn’t shout. I didn’t even curse them. I just looked at them and asked in a calm voice:

“So this is what you both have been doing behind my back?”

    Dave stammered, “Loveth… I can explain…”

Sharon burst into tears, “It’s not what you think—”

    I turned away.

I walked out slowly. My legs were shaking, but I didn’t fall. I walked into the night, heartbroken, betrayed, and shattered. But as I got home and closed my door, I whispered to myself,

“You will not fight like a fool. You will fight smart. You will win, Loveth. You will win.”

And that was when my revenge plan began to form.

Do you notice that some words sound louder than others in your conscious awareness? Different seasons require different things. In summer, it brings warm temperatures, which means you must do different things than in winter, affecting many of your activities and clothing. The environment influences behaviour based on factors outside of your control; however, you need to adapt to make things work better. You won't grab a winter coat or prepare for frost, as the season doesn't demand that of you. Instead, you will adjust other patterns of behaviour accordingly. That word resonates outside of yourself, but your inner conditions and how you navigate must coexist with the environment. This might seem like a minor strategy we don't think much about; we simply adapt.

It is so normalised to do what is required; if not, we would face many consequences. Because the environment demands that we adapt, we are inherently equipped to adjust to life situations using laws and principles from a critical mind. How much more should we train this part of our mind to think strategically in resolving problems? Sometimes, it isn’t the first idea that comes to mind; we need to teach our minds to think critically.

One way to develop your mind to think strategically is to start with a small problem you might see around you, such as environment design, to help your habits align with living a high-yielding lifestyle or using your time wisely knowing when your energy levels are at their peak for tasks that might not otherwise suit you. When do you have less mental or physical energy? When is your spirit alert? Is it only at certain times? How can you become more sensitive to these shifts? When is the best time to convert your spiritual or mental energy into the outcomes you want to create in your life? Have you taken the time to plan specific tasks? What subjects will you focus on?

An unplanned life is like having the wrong clothing in your wardrobe for the season or having no firewood and freezing at sub-zero temperatures because there was no preparation. If you want to use time more productively, it’s better to sit down and allocate a couple of hours a week to prepare exactly what you’re going to target and when. Your targets should align with your purpose for creation. Was a dolphin made to fly through the air? Was a seagull created for the snow? Was an ant designed to live in human beds? Just by natural design, they fit in alignment with the vision the creator of their design put for them.
Yet humans have a free will we could spend three hours scrolling social media platforms we could laze in the sun we could seek out entertainment we could trade our time in the uncle Sam system to pay a mortgage or we could find the original blueprint for our life’s that we did not create but the creator of his creation does not make people to live for themselves he created them for himself and for his purpose.

Everyone, even Adolf Hitler, was created by God and for God, yet from his life story, we can see that he walked in alignment with an evil agenda that did not come from the creator of his design. This highlights a contrast between Mother Terrasa, who united creation with the creator and Adolf Hitler, who divided. What we must also observe is that the kingdom of light always unites and the kingdom of darkness always divides. Why am I highlighting this? It reveals that when we live out of alignment with our purpose, we are divided, as we are living in alignment with other attitudes of the heart, such as seeking comfort, satisfying emotional needs, or taking the lowest-yielding path of instant gratification. When we live in alignment with our purpose, we unite with God's will and practice delayed gratification, using the things that cost us our life, time, and resources to build the kingdom.

If there is a purpose for the garden worm, the caterpillar, the lightning, the sun, the soil, and everything that was made, how much more is there a purpose for every human being? Never give in to the delusion that you were created to sit in a church pew listening to someone preach until you make heaven, that is one of Satan's greatest deceptions he uses to stop the advancement of the kingdom.

Everything starts small, even your gifts and talents; they do not begin as fully developed, but rather as a word that may sound loud within your spirit. God has hidden so many capacities in us that you can only discover them through work. Einstein was obsessed and possessed by some ideas that never left his mind. I do not know the length of time it took him to discover the equation E = mc^2, which represents the energy equivalent of mass times the speed of light squared. The only reason I can write that equation is because Einstein passed through this world and did not yield to his flesh nature; he lived in a higher dimension, the mind. Yet, he tapped into a spiritual law that was hidden in nature; the only reason we cannot see into the dimension of the spirit could be explained by this equation. Yet right around us is another realm that cannot be seen on the material level because the faster you speed up energy and mass, the more it becomes invisible. Yet, we are dealing with two kingdoms: one that seeks to unite creation and one that seeks to divide it.

If we start with the book of Genesis and proceed to Revelation, both kingdoms are highly strategic. God had a strategy even before the fall. He created people to fulfil the path to the coming Christ. Satan started with a strategy but tempted Eve at the fall, just using words, images, and suggestions. Then he perverted God’s plan and will by causing Cain to murder his brother Abel. Right now, we are in a strategic era of the gospel of the kingdom being preached to all, nations and we all know that this vision will come to pass not because I said it, it is written, we are just positioned in the time of the dispensation of the calendar of God to fulfill his vision. The strategy of the church must be beyond the four walls into every territory and cause the light of the culture of heaven to unite creation with the creator by discovering our purpose for creation we bring godly alliances with man and God just by our obedience as God has given us grace and apostleship to fulfil this vision. What words are resonating loudly in your spirit, you hear, to reunite creation with the creator in time and space, connecting them to eternity.

  • When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hastily and thoughtlessly removed fuel subsidy on the day of his inauguration, he triggered an economic avalanche that has since buried the average Nigerian under the weight of inflation, hunger, and despair.

In a bid to manage the self-inflicted crisis, the administration promised to pay a wage award to federal civil servants as a temporary cushion pending the conclusion of negotiations on a new national minimum wage. That promise, like many others under this government, has become a broken covenant.

It took the Tinubu administration a staggering 10 months to arrive at a new minimum wage figure. By implication, the Federal Government owes 10 months of wage award arrears to federal workers. Yet, only six months have been paid and that too after a series of unfulfilled assurances and avoidable delays. As of today, the Federal Government owes four months of wage awards, amounting to ₦35,000 monthly, a total of ₦140,000 per worker.

While several state governments have shown commendable responsibility in the management of labour affairs, the Tinubu-led Federal Government has distinguished itself by its callous indifference and utter disdain for workers’ welfare.

To make matters worse, instead of engaging in dialogue or fulfilling its promises, the government has now resorted to tyranny and suppression of free speech. Nearly two weeks ago, Comrade Andrew Uche Emelieze was arrested and detained for attempting to organize a peaceful protest to demand the payment of the overdue wage awards. His only "crime" was speaking up for workers abandoned by the state.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of Comrade Emelieze. His continued detention is an affront to democracy, a slap in the face of every Nigerian worker, and a chilling reminder of the authoritarian drift of the Tinubu administration.

Let it be known: Nigerian workers will not be silenced, intimidated, or forgotten. The economic hardship is real, the hunger is biting, and the government has a duty to act, not repress. -AA

  • IPOB PRESS RELEASE
    9th July, 2025

RE: ANYONE COMPARING MAZI NNAMDI KANU TO A COWARDLY CONTENT CREATOR NEEDS PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION

The attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), under the supreme leadership of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to an utterly deranged and disgraceful narrative gaining traction among the intellectually bankrupt, in which cowards and charlatans—masquerading from foreign comfort zones as so-called “freedom fighters”—seek to compare Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to a self-proclaimed content creator and certified coward.

Let us state it categorically: anyone foolish or mentally impaired enough to draw such a comparison needs urgent psychiatric intervention. Comparing the indomitable Mazi Nnamdi Kanu—who has endured extraordinary rendition, solitary confinement, torture, and a seven-year political and legal onslaught—to a coward who publicly denied Biafra in open court is the height of lunacy.

MAZI NNAMDI KANU STANDS FOR DISCIPLINE, SACRIFICE, AND INTEGRITY
Unlike criminals hiding behind the mask of activism, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has always emphasized discipline, non-violence, and moral clarity in the Biafra restoration project. His record speaks for itself:

He wrote and spoke against criminality in the name of agitation.
He personally instructed his lawyer, Barrister Maxwell Opara, to travel to Finland to convey his displeasure over the atrocities being committed in his name. The coward in question refused to meet him.
He issued a handwritten directive from DSS detention ending the Monday sit-at-home policy—but was brazenly disobeyed by those intent on profiting from the blood of Biafrans.
In yet another remarkable act of responsibility, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu invited Benjamin Madubugwu, his former co-acussed and cellmate in Kuje (2015–2017), to visit him at the DSS dungeon. The purpose of that visit was simple: to deliver a personal message to Biafrans, declaring that no Igbo person had a hand in his abduction and rendition, and that all forms of criminality in the name of Biafra are evil and unacceptable.
That message—like every other instruction from our leader—was deliberately ignored by these impostors and opportunists.

THE THINGS MAZI NNAMDI KANU FORBIDS — ALL VIOLATED BY A COWARD IN HELSINKI
Let the records reflect that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu publicly forbade the following acts, all of which were later carried out by the cowardly fraudster now desperately seeking attention:

No Biafran should form a government in exile.
No Biafran should form an army or armed group.
No Biafran currency should be printed or sold.
No Biafra identity card should be created.
No Biafran passport should be printed or circulated.
Yet this Helsinki-based attention-seeker, lacking discipline or ideological clarity, violated every single one of these directives while claiming to “fight” for Biafra. Biafra is not a fantasy. It is not a YouTube show. It is not a plaything for criminals and cowards who find joy in extorting their own people.

How can any sane person declare a “government” in a barbing salon in Helsinki without the consent of the people? Is this how revolutions are led? Is this what Biafran republicanism has been reduced to?

BLOOD ON HIS HANDS — AND HE BOASTS OF IT
The man being falsely compared to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu once boasted openly that he killed Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, the IPOB Biafraland Coordinator. Who does that? What manner of beast celebrates the killing of fellow Biafrans? That some gullible followers still fawn over such a coward is the greatest disappointment to our leader and all those who gave their lives for Biafra.

IPOB REMAINS WHITER THAN WHITE — CLEANER THAN CLEAN
Let it be known to all that IPOB has nothing to do with the so-called “Biafra Government in Exile.” We are not part of that criminal syndicate. We do not endorse or recognize it. We do not kill, extort, or run rackets in the name of Biafra.

The inability of the Nigerian state to sustain any legitimate charge against our leader, despite multiple amendments and desperate media propaganda, is proof of the purity of our struggle and the discipline of our leadership. The Kenyan High Court has already declared his abduction unconstitutional. And despite all the torture and manipulation, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains unbroken—because he is fighting a just cause.

Let the world understand that when the dust settles, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu shall speak again, and the enemies within and without shall be exposed.

Biafra is not a hustle. Biafra is not for cowards. Biafra is not content for clicks.

COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL SPOKESPERSON/MEDIA AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB.

US President Donald Trump is once again the center of a social media storm, this time because he made a mistake about Japan. Trump sparked a meme storm after referring to Japan's prime minister as “Mr. Japan” during an interview about trade tariffs. Critics and comedians didn't miss a beat.
