Love never truly fades. Even when someone is no longer part of your life, the love you felt for them remains within you. It transforms and becomes a part of your emotional landscape, but it doesn’t disappear. Learning to live without someone you once loved deeply is one of the hardest lessons, but over time, you find a way to carry on, holding that love in a different, quieter place within your heart.
Advice: It’s okay to still feel love for someone, even after they’re gone. Healing is about learning to live with that love, not erasing it.

13. Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

*MESSAGE:*

Parents cannot raise their children all by themselves. This is because many other factors are involved in a child's destiny that parents cannot control. Some of these factors include the environment where their children are growing up, the people they interact with, their genetic makeup, and even spiritual forces that surround their entire family and the children in particular. This is why, beyond all the things that parents do physically to raise their children, they must also pray for them regularly and seek God's help to raise them correctly. Parents must also anoint and pray over their children regularly to protect them from evil forces.

In the short time that I have spent on the earth, I have seen the enemy work all manners of evil in the lives of children. Many times, some parents heap blames on their children for lacking focus, being unserious, or being lazy when they do not succeed, especially in their academics. They get frustrated that they are spending so much money on them without good results. They may not know that there might be forces of darkness that are hindering the child's progress. It is possible for a student to study very hard and just blank out in the examination hall. There was a case at the University of Lagos some years ago where, right in the examination hall, a young man just began to urinate non-stop. There was some pandemonium, and those around him began to call an ambulance. However, he told them that this was not the case for the doctor and that they should call his pastor instead. His pastor prayed for him, and he was healed.

The anointing sets a child apart for greatness. Although David was destined to be the king of Israel, that destiny did not find expression until he was anointed. After he was anointed, the Bible says that the Spirit of the Lord came upon him from that day forward (1 Samuel 16:13). In the very next chapter, he killed the Philistine giant, Goliath, and became a national figure (1 Samuel 17:48-51). If you are a parent, speak God's counsel over your children and anoint them regularly. Let them know that they belong to God and that anyone who touches them touches the apple of God's eye (Zechariah 2:8). I pray that God will protect every child from the attacks of the enemy, in Jesus' name.

Absolutely.
Not all problems are spiritual — some are relational and emotional. Fasting and prayer are powerful, but if you’ve wronged someone, healing starts with humility, accountability, and an apology.

God may forgive you, but the people you hurt deserve your honest repentance and efforts to make things right. Saying “I’m sorry” is sometimes the most spiritual act you can do.

What Is In The Anointing Oil?

1. The Spirit of the Lord that triggers supernatural breakthroughs is in the Anointing Oil. 1 Sam 16:13...the Spirit of the Lord came upon him. Church Gist. Oil was poured on his head but the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and the Spirit of the Lord is the Spirit of breakthroughs. Luke 4:14,18. The Spirit of the Lord in the oil is the Spirit of breakthroughs.

- Therefore, as you are anointed today, welcome to your next level of breakthrough!

And that Spirit came upon David and in (1 Samuel) Chapter 17, he brought down Goliath. (In) Chapter 18, the women began to sing, “Saul has slain his thousand and David his ten thousand”; the battle line was drawn. Church Gist. Isaiah 45:1-3...that is, breakthroughs always follow the anointing (the Spirit of the Lord).

2. The healing power of God. We just cited that in Mark 6:7,11-12 and James 5:14-15.

3. The yoke destroying power of God. Isaiah 10:27.

- Every yoke of the wicked on anyone's life shall be destroyed today!
- Everyone targeted for death, the ones that target you will go in your place!

Isaiah 59:19. Every battle against your life in the realm of the unseen, your victory is sure!

4. The restoration power of God. After Saul was anointed, he said, “as you depart from me today, you will be told that the ass you are looking for has been found.” Church Gist. Restoration!

- Whatever you have lost to the wicked in the course of the battles of life, you are getting it back!

You have seen how somebody's job was restored after 19 years and paid all his dues all in one day. Church Gist. In the name of Jesus, whatever the enemy has stolen from you shall be supernaturally restored! Joel 2:25...only God can restore years.

- In the name of Jesus, God's glory that pertains to us in redemption shall be restored to your life!

What am I saying? The holy anointing oil is not a Church doctrine, it's a mystery of the Kingdom. When the bottle of oil you have brought is blessed, it's turned to a holy anointing oil. Church Gist. If you check in that Exodus 30:25, it was prepared like this one is prepared. But when God's Word is proclaimed on it, it is turned to a holy anointing oil.

As we round up this morning, it's our Business and Career Breakthrough Service and I told you at the beginning that there is nothing magical about breakthroughs. Church Gist. It's our positive response of faith to His commandment as a lifestyle, He keeps opening doors after doors to us.

Remember, every child of God belongs to a breakthrough family in Christ. That's what makes breakthrough our heritage. Matthew 5:13-14. We are redeemed as pacesetters and trailblazers. Church Gist. We are redeemed to show the World the way forward and the way to go. Matthew 11:11...that is, redemption makes us greater than the greatest of names in the Old Testament. We are redeemed as breakthrough entities - understand that please. It's not your ambition, it's your heritage.

Redemption makes us priests and kings to reign on the Earth. But humorously, belonging to the Winners Family, a globally renowned breakthrough family entitles everyone of us to supernatural breakthroughs in our endeavours. You are on board a plane, at whatever altitude the plane is cruising, that's where you are. This is a breakthrough family. Church Gist. The whole World recognises this place as a breakthrough family by virtue of God's presence and God leading the way. So belonging to this family makes you a breakthrough entity if you connect, if you get on board. Please get on board, get on board and get on board.

I came on board Hagin's family by impartation and delivery of the mantle. The same way his books were going round the World in different languages without stress, the same way our books are in several languages without any cost to us. Cruising at the same level. He was a relaxed soul and you all know how relaxed I am. Church Gist. You all should know how relaxed I am. He operated a debt free ministry; you know how we have been debt free all along without any gimmicks. It's one thing to hang around the airport building; it's another thing to get on board. Don't hang around this airport building, get on board. You don't change position by hanging around the airport building, you change altitude by getting on board.

The greatest physical project we have ever had in this ministry is The Ark Project and the most relaxed project we have ever had is The Ark. Can you see the paradox? Isn’t God awesome? That everything needed to complete it is on ground. It's not that you are looking for it. Church Gist. We are only looking for time. As I am speaking to you, escalators are being installed. Escalators that will take you up are being installed. You have seen buildings like that before? Because they are itching. They are all on ground. Not all winners sweat to win. Sweating is a curse. Your days of struggles end here today!

When No One Wins: Lessons from the Python and the Cobra

In the wild, a python once fought a king cobra. The python used its strength to squeeze the cobra tightly—so tightly it couldn’t breathe. At the same time, the cobra bit the python and released its deadly venom. In the end, both of them died. One died from poison. The other from suffocation.

No one won. No one walked away alive. It was a fight that ended in tragedy for both.

Sadly, this is how many people live today. Not in the jungle—but in families, friendships, churches, and even workplaces.

* In families, brothers stop talking to each other for years over land and other disputes.
* In friendships, people compete instead of celebrating one another’s wins.
* In marriages, silent treatment and harsh words do more damage than healing.
* Even in church, we see people gossiping, backbiting, or holding grudges—all while quoting Scriptures and Ministering powerfully.

Why? Because like the python and cobra, many are fighting battles where both will lose. Pride and jealousy are slowly killing what could have been beautiful.

The Bible is clear on this:
* “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” – Proverbs 16:18
* “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” – Proverbs 15:1
* “If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.” – Galatians 5:15

Real-Life Reflections:
1. In marriages – One spouse wants to be always right, the other refuses to say sorry. They stop talking. Days become weeks. Weeks become years. A small misunderstanding, mixed with pride, becomes a big wall of barrier between the two.

2. Among friends – Someone gets promoted or engaged, and instead of being happy, the other grows cold and starts spreading rumors.

3. In ministry – A young preacher is rising, and the older one feels threatened instead of mentoring him. Insecurity replaces love.

In the end, no one wins. Just like the python and cobra—one with the venom of gossip, the other with the pride that suffocates unity.

So, what can we do differently?
* Choose peace over ego.
*“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” – Matthew 5:9
* Choose humility over pride.
Jesus, though He was God, humbled Himself and served (Philippians 2:5–8). If the Son of God could kneel to wash feet, surely we can say, “I’m sorry” or “You go first.”
* Choose love over competition.
“Love does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4

* Choose healing over hurting.
Let go of that grudge. Make that call. Say what needs to be said—kindly.
You don’t always have to win the argument, the fight, or the position. Sometimes, choosing peace is the win. Because when we tear each other down, we all lose. But when we choose love, everyone grows.
*Don’t be the python. Don’t be the cobra. Be the peacemaker.*
