  • The power of words in shaping your reality
    ~by AkaGod Emmanuel

Absolutely! The "poor man's mindset" can often lead to a cycle of negativity and inaction. When you tell yourself, "I can't," you essentially limit your potential and close the door on opportunities for growth and problem-solving.

Here are a few ways to shift your mindset and focus on positive change:

    1. **Change Your Language**: Instead of saying "I can't," try saying "I will try" or "I haven't found the solution yet." This opens the door to exploration and encourages a problem-solving attitude.

    2. **Embrace Challenges**: View challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, rather than obstacles. This shift in perspective can motivate you to take action instead of retreating.

    3. **Set Small Goals**: Break larger problems into smaller, manageable tasks. Celebrate the small wins to build confidence and momentum.

    4. **Positive Affirmations**: Use affirmations to reinforce a growth mindset. Remind yourself of your strengths and capabilities regularly.

    5. **Surround Yourself with Positivity**: Engage with people who inspire and uplift you. Their positive energy can be contagious and help you shift your outlook.

    6. **Take Action**: The best way to combat a negative mindset is through action. Take small steps toward your goals, and you'll begin to see progress.

    7. **Reflect and Adapt**: Take time to reflect on your experiences. Learn from setbacks and adapt your strategies instead of giving up.

Changing your words and, by extension, your mindset can indeed transform your life. Embrace a growth-oriented perspective, and you'll find that many challenges are surmountable with the right approach!

Hodeidah Local Authority denounces #US #Massacre in Amin Muqbil neighborhood

SABA | The local authority in Hodeidah province has strongly condemned what it described as a “brutal massacre” committed by the US aggression in the Amin Muqbil neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of civilians and injuries, including women and innocent children.

In a statement carried by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the local authority labeled this incident a “terrorist crime” and part of an ongoing “bloody campaign” targeting innocent civilians, amidst the silence of the international community and the alleged complicity and support of certain Arab regimes.

The statement asserted that the “reckless American aggression” aims solely to express its “deep-seated hatred and failed revenge.” It argued that “targeting civilians with such brutality exposes the true face of the American enemy,” which it accuses of continuing to shed Yemeni blood.

The local authority believes this act demonstrates the US’s “bankruptcy, confusion, and escalation of violations and terrorist crimes” by targeting civilians in residential areas and civilian objects, actions prohibited under international law.

The local authority affirmed that this “treacherous crime,” targeting a densely populated residential area, reveals the “ugliness of this barbaric aggression” that “does not hesitate to kill innocents” in a “failed attempt to break the will of the Yemeni people,” who continue to support the #Palestinian cause.

The statement called on the international community to break its silence and condemn these actions, which it claims add to a “long record of #genocide.” It urged the #UN to fulfill its responsibilities and take immediate measures to stop this “terrorist aggression” and protect civilians.

The local authority in Hodeidah reiterated that “the Yemeni people will remain steadfast in the face of these crimes,” and that this “massacre will only strengthen their resolve to continue the struggle against aggression, preserve #Yemen’s sovereignty and dignity, and achieve victory for #Palestine and our brothers in the #Gaza Strip.”

The martyred female scholar Amina Al-Sadr’s advice to Muslim women:

“Be an emulated role model, and do not be an emulating puppet. Be a followed leader rather than a follower; resist temptations, hold your grounds as you face everything; I know that the obstacles in front of you are numerous, that your path is not without thorns and pitfalls, but it is shameful to retreat, to go back, for death is better than riding shame, and shame is better than the Fire (of Hell).”

“Islam wants woman to learn so she may come to know the essence of Islam according to its magnificent reality, not to become familiar with the moral looseness of Western women and the close mindedness of the Eastern ones.”

“Islam wants her to be a torch of Divine light, while the corrupt society tries to tum her into a puff of fire.”

“Islam wants her to be a fragrant flower, whereas the carnal concept wants her to become like a yellow withered leaf with the wind playing havoc with it. The Almighty created her to be the captain of the ship, but the false civilization has made her for quite some time a toy.”

“He created her to be the school for the generations, but the forces of evil exert themselves to turn her into a dumb machine.”

  • "The fastest ways to wāste your lífe as a young man are; smōking, drinking excessively and wōmanīzing. If you want to be successful in lífe, avoid these things totally."

These obstacles have prevented a great number of mēn from achieving their goals and living successful lives.
If you become hōōked to these things, you won't bother to establish a plan for future success, you'll think you've arrived. You just keep going from one party to another, smōking, drínkíng and wōmanīzing, till time passes you by.

One day you'll look up and your mates would have left you far behind.
    Be a man. Be Wise.
