• "After I married my wife, I noticed something strange… Money kept disappearing from my wallet! "

I’d ask her and she’d say, “Am I not the guardian of your wallet?”
I asked my daughter too — she said “It’s not me, daddy.”
But deep down, I suspected it was madam.

So I decided to test the waters… and spice things up with a little prank.
I bought a condom and got my doctor friend to cook up a positive pregnancy test. I tucked both inside my wallet .

Came home, dropped my wallet at my usual spot, grabbed cold beer from the fridge, and waited.

    Few hours later… Wahala landed.
My wife stormed in and slammed my wallet on the table.

    "Who owns THIS?!" she shouted.

I couldn’t help it — I just burst out laughing and said, “So you’re the thief after all.”

    Her response?
"When I married you, I heard '1+1=1'. Meaning everything you own is also mine — including your wallet and boxers. But that doesn’t answer my question, Mr. Man... WHO owns this pregnancy test??”

Omo! That day, my mouth dry. I explained tire! Thank God my doctor friend backed me up.

Since that day? I no prank her again ooo!

Moral lesson- Women will always find a way to flip the script and win the argument. Even when they’re caught red-handed.

  • Musk to Decommission US Space Project as Trump Announces Removal of Governmental Subsidies, Contracts

American billionaire and Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, Elon Musk, has announced plan to decommission his SpaceX Dragon spacecraft used by the United States amid ongoing rift between him and the U.S President, Donald Trump.

NPO Reported that Trump who was heavily backed by Musk during his Presidential campaign, had yesterday expressed his disappointment with the Tesla boss over his disagreement with the proposed tax and spending bill.

Musk had in a post on his X handle described the bills as “disgusting abomination.”

Addressing White House Press o Thursday, Trump said he was “very surprised” and “disappointed” with Musk’s criticisms of his centrepiece budget bill.

He hinted possible end to his relationship with Musk who had just recently stepped down from his role as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)- a body responsible for the reduction of government’s expenses.

“Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” Trump said.

In what had since escalated into wars of words, Musk fired back at the President in a post on his X, stressing that he wouldn’t have won the 2024 election without him

Musk accused the president of “Such ingratitude”, adding: “Without me, Trump would have lost the election”.

The last development of the feud would be Trump’s response on his Truth Social handle where he declared the removal of Musk’s governmental subsidies and contracts.

“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!” He wrote.

In reaction, Musk also declared the decommissioning of his SpaceX Dragon spacecraft used by the United States.

“In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately.” Musk wrote.

  • "You’re leaving this house. And I don’t want you to come back."

    That was all he heard.

    There was no argument.
    No shouting.
Just a dry sentence… and a door closing.

    His grandmother.
The same woman who had raised him since he was a child… was now throwing him out as if he were a stranger.

His grandfather, witnessing the scene, was stunned.
“What are you doing? Why are you throwing him out like that? He’s your grandson!”

But she didn’t say another word.
She just turned around and disappeared into the house.

    He didn’t understand.
    Neither did the neighbors.
    No one understood.

    The boy, aimless, started walking.
He was wearing the same clothes he had on when he went to the store that afternoon.

No money. No phone. No keys.

First, he went to a friend.
“Do you have a place to stay?” the friend asked.
    “No… they kicked me out.”
“Damn… I’m sorry. But my parents don’t let anyone stay over.
And honestly… I can’t do anything for you.”

    He kept walking.
    Another friend saw him coming.
    “Everything okay? Something happen?”
“I have no place to go. Can I stay with you for a few days?”
“And what are you going to do here? You don’t have money? You can’t pay for anything?”
    “No… nothing.”
“Then I’m sorry. You can’t stay at my place.”
    The boy lowered his head.
    And left.

    He looked for his girlfriend.
He hugged her and explained what had happened.
She was worried, went to talk to her parents… and came back with a muted voice.
“They say you can’t stay. And I… I can’t do anything either.
I’m sorry, love… but this just isn’t going to work. Not like this.”

    And he was left alone.
    Completely alone.
He sat on a sidewalk bench and looked at the sky.
He had given everything for people who now gave him nothing.

    Hours passed.
And when he thought no one was going to come looking for him…

    His grandfather appeared.
    “Let’s go home,” he said.
    He didn’t want to.
“For what? So you can throw me out again?”
    “Please, trust me. Just come.”

    He got in the car.
    Total silence the whole way.
When they arrived, his grandmother ran out to hug him.

    He stepped back.
Then the grandfather sat him down and spoke calmly:
“Your grandmother didn’t do it out of cruelty. She did it out of love.
She wanted you to see with your own eyes… who stands by you only when you have something to offer.

You thought you were surrounded by friends.
You believed you had a solid relationship.
But she saw things you didn’t want to see.
People who used you, who took advantage of you… who were there only when you gave, but not when you needed.”

“And she had to make you see the truth.”
    The boy began to cry.

    The grandmother came closer.
“It broke my heart to do it… but I love you too much to let you keep believing a lie.”
    He hugged her.

Tightly. Like he did when he was a child.
And he understood something that can’t be taught with words.

    Moral:
Sometimes, the person who loves you most is the one brave enough to shake you… to open your eyes.
Because when you have something, everyone comes around.
But when you have nothing, you discover who’s truly worth it.
Who loves you… not for what you give, but for who you are.
And that truth, even if it hurts, makes you stronger.

Davido's plan was for me and the other signees he signed at that time to leave and start our own record labels after our contracts expired.

My contract expired in 2020, but it was kept secret until 2023 when people started asking about it. We still have about 50 unreleased songs together, including a two-minute song we recorded recently in Ghana. Davido is the kind of person that when you have him in your life, you just know anything that needs money will be solved and you won't have any issues" — Mayorkun

  • Sometimes, Poverty Is Not Financial. It’s Personality.
    You’ll meet some people,
and instantly understand why they are where they are.
Not because of lack of money…
But because of lack of gratitude.
    Lack of honour.
    Lack of self-awareness.
    Entitled. Ungrateful. Energy drainers.
They meet someone above their level
someone willing to help, guide, or pour into them
and they start measuring what they didn’t get instead of honoring what they did.
    Newsflash:
If someone gives you time, access, knowledge, or even correction
and you repay it with attitude or silence…
Then congratulations, you’ve just blocked your own next level.
You don’t climb by biting the hand that lifted you.
You don’t grow by mocking the grace that fed you.
    And let’s be honest:
If you can’t even say “thank you” when someone pours into your future,
You don’t deserve to leave the mud.
    Gratitude is not weakness.
    It’s currency.
It’s the gate pass to rooms your mouth alone can’t open.
If someone of higher status helps you — no matter how little
    Be grateful. Loudly. Publicly. Consistently.
Because in life, people don’t remember what you asked for.
They remember how you acted after they gave.
